Got my muffler fixed and they did a good job. They told me I needed to get my front end fixed the entire front end. The price they gave me was over $200.00 more than any other place I called and muffler man was not even going to do an alignment or shocks. They dont even have the proper equipment for alignment. I would get muffler work done by them again, but nothing else. Be careful getting other work done there. Im paying over $200 less for the front end work with alignment and new shocks with moog parts. Always get other quotes from reputable companies its your hard earned money.

Ive taken a lot of our auto repair business to this Muffler Man since the late 1990s. Theyve always worked with me, and have given me honest advice and done our repairs quickly and for a fair price. Theyre a family operated business that I will keep using.

Ive always had an excellent experience at this location. I recently had them inspect my 2010 F150s front end thinking that it had multiple issues. They were very honest - all components in good working order except shocks and struts. I order all of my parts through AdvanceAuto because I get their perks discounts and lifetime warranties on many parts, and Muffler Man installed my parts for an incredibly fair price. Work was done well! The technician drove my truck with me both prior to and after the repair work, and the front office is top notch. This is my place for all light to moderate mechanical needs. Honest, professional, and the fairest pricing youll find.

I would put zero stars if I could. This place has changed and will rip you off in a heartbeat. My car was making noises and they looked at it and said it could be a few different things, one of them being the lower control arms. I said go ahead and fix it and when they drove it after it was fixed it was still making the same noises. Then all of a sudden it was the sway bar hitting against the frame and $500 later I get my car back with the same issues and I’m out $500 on a part that DID NOT NEED TO BE FIXED!! They could see what the problem was when they were fixing the part that was not the problem!! They are only out to get money from you whatever way they can and I would NOT recommend ever going to this here!!!! This is the kind of place that makes it hard to trust anyone to give you an honest answer on getting your car fixed. They should be ashamed of themselves but that doesn’t make you money.

Do NOT take your vehicle to Muffler Man on Fenton rd.. they are money hungry and are out to get whatever they can from you.. They tried charging me over Twice the amount any other shop wouldve charged.. They are NOT professional and I will NEVER take another vehicle to them.. HORRIBLE experience..

Love this place. Its the only place I take my truck. They are always very knowledgeable and my truck always comes out great. Wish they were a little quicker. It feels like they have no sense of eargency. But they are always very kind and polite.

We took our Excursion in to get a exhaust manifold replaced with a header (left/driver side) first. It leaks after being done and they managed to not bolt the dipstick tube back on causing it to snap. They did not fix it. Then going back to get the passenger/right side done, they wanted to charge $500 more to do it than what they told us. Not worth your money guys, you get what you pay for!!

If this is the muffler man on fenton rd. I like it. Wasnt a long wait. It was very clean. The staff is great. The prices are so good. I was recommended here by someone else and I liked it.

Took my excursion in to get exhaust manifolds replaced. They got the drivers side on but forgot to install the oil dip stick properly which caused it to break. When confronted about it we got nothing but excuses. Had to go to the corunna rd location to get it fixed. Went back to get the passenger side replaced and was told theyre not capable of doing it. An exhaust shop not capable of working on exhaust... I understand its a tough job...BUT ITS YOUR JOB! I STRONGLY advise to stay away from this location.

Took my 2008 Chevrolet DCEquinox for an estimate damage from an accident They charged $20 for the estimate. Approximately $1500 to replace damaged homes parts and labor sThinking that was too costly so I had my car towed to Flat Rate Towing and repair services. Their estimate was $520 . Upper and lower left side tie rods. Left strut, sswaybar, tire and front end alignment.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! So I thought I had a brake line that needed to be repaired but come to realize it wasnt on at all the way. They tightened it and had me on my way. Recommended for everyone!! Thank you guys so much. They couldve easily ripped me off and replaced the line but they looked and seen that it wasnt on. That was very much needed and I thank them so much!!

Wish I could give no stars!! Took my moms car to have it looked at to see why it was over heating? They quoted $55 to look at it!? I mistakenly turned the car off. Wouldnt start!! They didnt even offer to help push the out of the way. I will never... recommend this place to anyone!!!EVER....!!!

These guys put a new manifold, gasket, removed broken bolts, installed new bolts, exhaust and did some exhaust pipe work on my 03 (hemi) ram 1500 for less than 4 other shops said they would charge just to change the manifold gasket and deal with the broken bolts.I got prices in flint, Lansing, St. johns.Awesome shop, even better than my home town, Lansing muffler man. A+++++

This place is a jokeI took my 1993 Silverado in to have the exaust put on ( I had all the pipes and muffler ) so they said if I would pay cash ( so they didnt have to put it on the books ) they would do it for $160.00 but in the process of putting the crossover on the broke the ear off of the manifold then said it came in that way and refused to fix itToday I called to see what they would charge to put the manifold on ( I have all the hardware and the manifold ) and her person working behind the counter said it would be $230 to $250 in labor but I would have to pay for bolts and studs extraWhen I said I had all that the price jumped to $300.00They do all they can to take advantage of youSO BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

They are great at repairing exhausts anything else not so much they told me my motor was bad when it was a vacuum leak ( a 99 cent repair ) guy at the oil change place across the street spotted it right away .... well they did a nice job on my exhausted

I hope to god you go someplace else. I had a terrible experience with these peope, I had to go back four times and my truck still didnt get fixed properly. Repaired the wrong side of the truck, I bring it back and the bolts were lose, so they fix the correct side then put my wheel on wrong my truck shook so bad I couldnt drive it. By now theyre frustrated with me. Now my A-Arm bolts are streched so bad the bar and bolts need replaced but they wont do it now. They say take it to an alignment shop. Alignment shop apologized to me and said they have to replace the A-Arm brackets and bolts on both sides. My next step is court to get my money back and the bill for a professional to fix it correctly.

$200 cheaper than Tuffy. Nice people, clean bathroom and waiting area. Ill come again.

I take my mustang and all my family, friends cars here. They do a solid service for cheap prices. Yes, they will try to hit you with the high price at first, but let them know your situation and what you can afford. They will work with you! Dont hesitate to at least let them check out your vehicle. Olivia usually runs the front desk, and she is very kind and personable just like everyone that works there. Been going here the last 3 years and havent had a problem. If I had a problem, I take it right back up there and they will fix their mistake and they always warranty their work. Respect.

Went to them for brakes. They said I needed brakes , rotors, AND a front and rear drive shaft which totaled over $3G’sTook my truck toAMERICAN AUTOWORKS on South Saginaw St in Burton, MI. Best thing I could have done. Hector the owner said there was NOTHING WRONG with either of my drive shafts!!!!!Muffler Man is a huge RIPOFF! 😡Go see Hector at AMERICAN AUTOWORKS!!!!He’s honest and a great auto repair person. 😊

My husband goes for oil change and they have him wait in his van for 20 min outside so he goes inside seeing no one is helping him and they tell him oh give me your keys it’ll be another 25 min wait until we take your van in..Why not just tell him wait time is 45 min and let him wait inside with his van off....???

My son bought a used car in December and the whole new exhaust fell off several days later. The car dealer told my son to meet him here and hed pay for the repair. A couple of weeks later the whole exhaust fell off again at the same spot. My son took it back and was charged to get it repaired this time. The whole exhaust just fell off for the third time and he took it to a competitor for repair. My son said hed rather pay someone else to do it than pay again for shoddy workmanship.

They left my brake fluid cap OFF and then left a pair of pliers next to the engine. UNDER THE HOOD! To top it all off the short little tweeker broke my passenger side head light.

I dont like anything about this place. I paid over 600 dollars to get something fix and they didnt do it properly. Then a few weeks later the same thing goes wrong. I got my vehicle checked out some where else just to find out that muffler man put the wrong bolts in and didnt even put all of them on . Their work is sloppy and i wouldnt be surprised if they sabotage parts in your vehicle to bring you back..

I took my car in on Friday for a new muffler, and to have a gas leak fixed. They quoted me 500 dollars and said it would be done on Saturday. The next day they tell me it would be done Monday, on Monday the called me told me it would cost 650 and be Tuesday. I took my car and left, they will not be getting my business now or ever!

You have to be careful here it can get costly

Every time Ive gone in there I walked out because they were so rude, usually a waiter gets preferential treatment over a dropoff, nooo not me told me Id wait 4 hrs, another time I walked in they rudely said We cant look at yours today just hate everything about their customer service, my friend tells me the Fenton Muffler man was great
