Bought a universal catalytic converter here because of the lifetime guarantee. That was back in February. I’ve had to get it serviced 3 separate times since then. They tell me it’s because I’m low on oil....not their product, but my acceleration is sluggish and the engine smells of sulfur. My regular oil change place said it sounds like a busted catalytic converter and that I still had most of my oil....I wish they had more honest service and compatible parts. This has been a nightmare.

They people there are super awesome and friendly, they saved me close to $1000 on work I needed done. Highly recommend! Robert and Kelly are awesome!

If I could have put a 0 stars here, I would have!!!! I am a handicap individual who wanted a quick check of my oil (because I have my oil changed there) and I was told to make an appointment. I was told that there to busy to take care of me. I was also told that there was only 1 employee out back while she (the manager) was on her cell phone talking to whoever. I know there policies and she should lose her job because she didnt do hers!!

Always honest, friendly and fair! Drive from northern Genesee Co and wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else!!! I initially gave this a 5-star, until I went to cash out and the asst manager would not give me the $10 off as advertised since he had “already given me a break on my service for having to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change.” Very misleading and promotional sign should include a disclaimer.

Been taking my vehicle there for a while now all staff are great and friendly. Scott and the crew do really great quality work every time I have my vehicle worked on and for a decent price too. I would recommend going here over all other places. Honest, fast and reliable!!

Great service and a great product. We always get our new tires here. Had a leak the was caused by a dented rim and they referred me to a welder for repair instead of trying to fix it on their own. They also replaced the bad tire since I had a warranty.

Being a woman, it can be hard to find a decent car place. I used to go to only go to the Monro Auto in Davison, but the past year Ive been coming to the Dort location. I love the service, the gentlemen who works the front is seriously one of the nicest, most honest guys Ive dealt with. Ive never been made to feel dumb or pressured to buy anything I cant afford. I dont see myself ever going anywhere else!

I took my Ram truck in to replace my ignition coil and then the guy said I needed my water pump fixed but I never had a problem before so I declined and shortly after leaving wi thg my coil replaced my water pump went out and and now Im having all sorts of problems, rattling under my hood, shaking, grinding sounds and none of this has happened before....... Im not a happy customer especially after this, Ive been a customer with yall before, even recommended yall to people but not if yall are doing business like this.

One of the cheapest places for basic car maintenance. Staff is friendly. They do not offer more advanced services. They mostly good for oil change, tires, etc. Though they have repaired suspension issues and done tune-ups for me.

I had an excellent experience that Kan R)ock I came in for a simple oil change and I have a stick shift 2006 Saturn Ion not only did they get me in and out fast time they gave me synthetic oil as a normal the price is only $14.99 and there was a Certified mechanic on duty there was able to clear my check oil light when I went back for my next Oil Change to Fast Eddies I made them take all kinds of money off there were looking at Google they were getting in my car manual they could not figure out how to take the check engine or check oil light off Im still driving around to this day with my check oil light on I cant wait to go to call Kan Rock tomorrow get a real oil change and have that check oil light come off once and for all I will never again stray from Kan Rock or cheaper they know what theyre doing and they have a nice comfy waiting room. You dont have to worry about ex-cons working underneath your car saying that they replace this and that or gave you this and that extra or wanting to tip these guys are actually on the level pisses me off when they go in there and say and do stuff like that it really does and thats why I will always go to Kan Rock never again will I Stray thank you Kan Rock!!!

My husband and I brought his car in when the engine died recently, and when we were down to one car during the repairs, we brought my car in for an oil change as well. The estimate for the engine repair was honest and fair and the staff were sympathetic to our situation. Everyone was very patient and direct with us. Between myself, my husband, and our family calling on our behalf to check on the car, we’ve called up to the shop a lot and have been treated wonderfully each time. The oil change was fast, as well. Being down to one car temporarily, I brought my car in for a last minute concern, and Chauno and his staff met me outside the building to move the car into the dock so that the work could be done quickly and I would not be without a car for the next day. The service from Chauno, Mitch, and all the other staff has been all that was expected and more. They gave me the kind of service that I am still thinking about days after the fact (in a positive way, lol). I would definitely recommend Monro on Dort Highway to a friend! Thanks so much!

I will never go there again!! Had to wait a day to get my tire in and when i did i frove it home and it sat for 3 days on the 4th day noticed it was flat as a pancake. I calked and he gave me attitude right away said they dont do work like that and said it wad over a month ago it was 4days then gave me a direct order to bring it in today when i need to be somewhere else with a diffrent vehicle i didnt appreciate that.i say its their faulty work and he says they will find out whos fault it is not without me standinh thete to watch them so they donu puncture the tire to make it mu fault. Yes i raised my voice at him because of his attitude first. Never ever will have work done thete again will call better business bureau

Wrongfully diagnosed front end noise. Charged an inspection fee of $20, which is more than reasonable IF diagnosis was accurate. Went back to show and discuss correct diagnosis and fix with manager and got belittled, yelled at, and would not admit to wrongful diagnosis. Refused to refund inspection fee, told me to call customer service. How embarrassing for a company to have this employee as their manager. (Chauno Harris) Never going back, calling corporate.

These guys are always pleasant, quick & courteous. They put new tires on my car and 2 weeks later I had a bad shake going on. Took it back to them. They couldve told me anything in order to charge me but they showed me the dirt build up, knocked it out, no charge and on my way. Thanks guys!

Wow hands down some of the best costmer service ive had ever. The guys at the counter new everthing i had to ask he threw in a tire rotation and saved me 40 dollers on b/s tire chatges.

All I can say is AWESOME!!! All the staff there are amazing and so very helpful. Ive had so much work done there in the last few months on my truck and it was things that needed to be done before but money was tight well I was able to fix everything and I trust the work these guys do. Superb all around fantastic work from wheel bearings in the front, fuel pump and even help with some nerf/step bars on the truck. I wouldnt care if the place up the street was cheaper I would still go to see the guys at the location on Dort Hwy. I trust the work they do and know Im going to be treated very well when Im there and know that when I leave quality work has been done. Thank you to all the staff you guys are amazing.

Ive been there total of 2 times and I actually really enjoyed my experience with Kan Rock Tires. The only thing that I could complain about for this last visit was they asked me if I would like my tires rotated and I said yes I would like my tires rotated and they didnt rotate my tires however their service more than enough makes up for it you guys I mean not even lets say Fast Eddies who I used to go to because I was a gullible kid back in the day in the 41 year old male now and I know that these people not only can sell you a good tire but can also stand by their guarantee or your money back and get to keep the tire I believe dont quote me on that but I think thats their policy, its just unbelievable and an unbelievable place to do business they were the only place since I have a stick shift Saturn stick shift that these guys are the only competent people they can clear my check oil light after they change my oil just because my cars a stick requires a different method to turn off the light and no other people could do it but Kan Rock Tires! You guys if you ever get a chance its only $22 out the door for just a simple oil change and if you want to use some some good oil I like the synthetic that will take you more like five thousand miles which I got during my first visit its completely worth it you get what you pay for always remember that and they still can pretty much beat Fast Eddies or any of the other little want to be or oil change shops around Flint they might offer you a car wash you no big deal you can go do that anywhere probably get your car cleaner I got went through the door best car wash over at Fast Eddies and my car came out dirty and spots and that was after a wax and a wash and dry and everything so theyre just the better candidate all around!

Have honestly always had good service here. The waiting room isnt the most clean, the clientele can sometimes be a bit brash, but the guys are friendly enough, they do same day service and they offer free estimates.

I took my vehicle to Monro at about 5pm on 1/6/20 with temperature gauges going up but vehicle not running hot. I explained to manager Chauno Harris the issues involving vehicle. He stated the mechanics would be leaving in an hour so they might not get to it until tomorrow. So the vehicle was left at the shop. Before leaving we agreed that the vehicle needed a pressure test. Chauno said he would perform a pressure test and if it passed the pressure test we would check on thermostat and maybe a flush and fill. He also stated that if it did not pass the pressure test they would call and give bad news ( because we also explained if it was head gasket we would not go further). The next day around 11am I received a phone call from a mechanic who stated they did the pressure test and it was DEFINITELY the radiator. I said ok I didnt think that was the issue being that repair was done about 1 year ago.Mechanic insisted that was the issue and would fix the overheating issue for about $550. I said okay I guess if you know that is the issue than go ahead and fix it. I said will it be ready today. He says yes. (At this time I did not know Chauno was not in work that day and did not explain our problems with vehicle that we discussed to mechanic) I called back to shop at around 3pm to ask the status of when I could pick up. Whoever answered the phone said oh, i just got your keys like 2 minutes ago and there is an issue with the Aztec. I say oh, what do you mean you havent got to it yet. He says no, they replaced the radiator and its head gasket issues. He says its not a big deal though we recommend maybe a motor around $800. I say what are you saying so I thought that is why we did a pressure test from my understanding. Then I told them I am off work now and will be up there to talk face to face Im not understanding. I get up there around 5pm. When I arrive the mechanic comes out and explains what he did. I tell him everything I told Chauno and asked if Chauno could come talk. He says oh he is not in today. He will be back tomorrow. Then shows me the paper left for him saying he did not know all the information and says look the paper just says check for overheating issue) The guy at counter Mitch was very nice but was saying he apologizes and his stomach has been messed up about this all day. Ultimately, they said they couldnt do anything. The manager would be there tomorrow and would call. Next day comes 1/8/20 and I did not receive a call so I call Chauno around 2pm and he says what he can do is take their radiator back and refund me for the part but still charge for the labor. I explained to him that he did not explain everything to his mechanic that we discussed and agreed on. That my understanding was $20 pressure test and they would know the issue, being I told him specifically head gasket or major problem we would not want to go further. However mechanic told me definitely with the word definitely is the problem. He did not state that he did not perform the pressure test being that it needed the radiator to get the pressure in the system to diagnose the head gasket issue. Had he said it may fix the problem but I need the $575 radiator job done to check if it passes pressure test then I would not have gone further with a maybe it could job. I was under the assumption at the first initial phone call that the mechanic knew all information I left with manager so with him telling me this is definitely your problem yes go ahead with job if itll be ready to drive for work. I think it was miscommunication between what I explained to manager and what he failed to explain or write down on work order for mechanic. Vehicle is the exact same after repair. Still cannot drive without temp gauge going all the way up. I also spoke with Theresa at corporate and she said she will stand behind the shop. I feel as if I was robbed and taken advantage of. I know to never patronize their business again and to ask unnecessary questions in further transactions in the future. DO NOT GO HERE for REPAIRS maybe have good reviews for tires

My windshield washer fluid wasnt working, but it had full amount of fluid but nothing was coming out. I came here and they fixed it fast and efficiently.

My mom got a new tire from them. In about 24 hours the entire tire, rim and all, came off. Messed up her truck. They said dont worry we will pay for repair. But when she drops of the estimate they start questioning why it costs so much, was the truck really damaged, and the manager got an attitude. Good thing their insurance provider was much better at customer service.

As I was waiting, another customer came in and hes truck was serviced before my truck. I guess if you know an employee, you get your services first. I wont be back to your store located on Dort hwy.
