Every time I’ve gone here I’ve had a great experience getting my nails done. Peter and Tina are wonderful.

I got my nails done 2.5 weeks ago here. It was only last night at my very physical job that one finally chipped. I was impressed they lasted through my wedding, camping trip, and going back to work before chipping. They do a great job at a reasonable price!

Today was my second pedicure at 8th day spa. Again, I was very pleased with everything! 8th Day is now my new, Go To.

This is the only place I will ever go to get a set of acrylic nails. Ive followed Katie for the past three years and havent seen anyone else since. Her art work is to die for and her dedication to the quality of her work shows in the end product. There hasnt been a time I left 8th day nails and didn’t feel my nails were better than whatever picture I found I pinterest for inspiration. I drive 45 minutes one way to get my nails done and consider It well worth it :)

The place is very clean, the technicians are so talented! Emmy is so so so so good! Full service doesnt begin to describe it! I have been going there for almost a year and brought my mother and sister in, too. My grandmother gets her hair cut there and Emily does a great job on her hair.

Safe to say, I love 8th Day! The owners are incredibly passionate about what they do and it shows. Ive been going to Thao for somewhere around 10 years and I absolutely cant say enough kind words about her. All of the staff are wildly talented and equally friendly. Please do yourself a favor and check them out!!

Technician did a great job but I was scheduled for Gel and received a Gel Overlay, and everyone apparently didnt know the difference, despite confirming my appointment would be 100% gel nails with absolutely no acrylic.Edit: after 8 days HALF of my nails have popped off.

I have been going to 8th Day since it opened and have never had a bad experience. If you are looking for an amazing deluxe pedicure and great looking nails, Lena is the BEST! She is friendly, always upbeat and has great attention to detail.

Anna did my nails and I am so impressed. They offer many services but Ive only had a pedicure and this time had nails put on. The atmosphere is great, a little bit more pricey than most smaller salons but more repitable in my opinion. You add the tip verbally to the receptionist when you pay which is an interesting approach so dont let that catch you off gaurd. Parking is scarce and I would recommend making an appointment.

I had a pedicure and that was a great experience. However, I paid $40+ for a shellac manicure and within 10 days, the polish is already starting to lift off multiple of my nails. It is highly disappointing to pay so much and not get a good quality in return. When I called to find out the cost and they said $40, i was expecting something spectacular for such a steep price. Definitely will not be going back for a manicure.

I finally found my hair place! After trying several salons around town, I tried 8th Day. My search is over. Kendyle is such a good listener and does the best cuts and color. You get exactly what you ask for and extra special care.

I will NEVER go back there!! I got my nails done by Anna I have never had an issue with my nails before. I went and received a fill. She put a thin layer of powder on my nails and not a week later my nails where popping off!!! I went back to get them fixed and not 2 days later another nail was starting to pop off from the bottom. I went to get my nails filled somewhere else and they took the nail off that was popping off and it had grown a nail fungus. They said it’s from my nail getting water under neath the nail that was popping off. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 years and NEVER has this problem before!!! This is what I get for trying to find a new salon I’m going back to my old reliable salon!

Made an appointment, everything seemed fine— show up at my scheduled time and I’m not on the calendar. They have no one to assist and now my carefully scheduled day has gone to hell. The woman working at the front seemed too concerned with the people who walked in behind me to make an offer on rescheduling and after leaving I called the number I called to make the appointment and confirm it is the one for this spa. The gentleman I spoke to was more courteous and he’s the reason I give them two stars. Advice for people going here, call back to confirm you made it into their books.

Ill never go anywhere else to get my nails done! No other salon makes my toes and nails feel as good as this place. Best place hands down. Theyve also got great people to get my hair done and waxing when I need it. Plus gotta love having a glass of champagne while I get a mani-pedi 🥰

This used to be my go to place. Sadly I will no longer be visiting 8th day for my monthly routine as the front desk has serious issues with scheduling. The past few times I’ve come in they completely messed up my appointments and claimed to not have anything scheduled despite me speaking with a real live person and getting confirmation of said appointment. This most recent time They tried to pass it off as “user error” and that I must have booked at another location, despite me having a call log to the correct location, phone number and date. Multiple Mistakes like this are not ok. It’s really frustrating, enough so that I will seek out another salon.

I was dragged along to this spa with a friend of mine. She was getting her nails done, and the atmosphere was really chill and everyone was really talkative. The peanut butter chocolate frapp that was made here was fantastic.Ive gotten my hair done here before, and they do great job at making you feel comfortable while getting your hair done. I could see everyone else enjoying their time here. I was greeted well, and left satisfied. If I ever needed to get my nails done here for whatever reason, Ill keep this place in mind.

Got my nails done a little over a week ago before I left for vacation to Hawaii got just a simple white tip which she used dip powder with a silver line and gel polish to top it off. I am beyond disappointed my nails lasted 2 days before the top coat peeled on every single one of my nails by the end of my 4 day trip I was left with 2 nails. I paid $50 for this full set I expected way better quality! I would not recommend this place at all.

I have been to this spa several times and recently had a very expensive color process put on my hair. I did not like it and still do not like it. The stylist and owner were understanding and had me come back the next day to put a toner on it to improve the color quality. After talking with Cindy, the stylist I have seen many times, we agreed to just come back in a few weeks and put some darker color in and lighten up the ends. Cindy, the stylist, is not the problem with this salon. She understood that I just didnt like the color and wanted to try something different. The problem is when I tried to call for an appointment, the receptionist, Faith, was rude an unaccommodating. She tried to book me with another stylist, which was not my preference. I asked her to book me with Cindy and she told me to go somewhere else! Normally, I would gladly go somewhere else, but after paying upward of $300 for a hair appointment, I want to get it right. I was calling to book an appointment, PAY AGAIN and work with Cindy to get the desired color and cut for my hair. Thanks to Faith, Cindy has lost a client and the spa has lost a regular customer. The stylists are great here, but the childish teenagers working a receptionists are not worth the hassle.

Had my hair cut and colored and nails done then came back for the fill right before my wedding a year ago. The colorist did an awesome job cutting my hair but I let her talk me out of the color I wanted. My fault but she shouldnt have tried. Nail technicians were great. Best place I have ever been for nails. Not sure what they do or use different but the nails lasted forever.

LASHES FELL OUT LESS THAT 16 HOURS AFTER LEAVING THE SALON!Booked an appointment for my 17-year-old niece to get her lashes done with Kaila at 8th Day Spa. The appointment was intentionally set 3 days before a special occasion my niece was to attend over the weekend. Within 16 HOURS after she left the salon, 90% of the lashes fell out. My niece has had her lashes done successfully many many times over the past couple of years at other salons, but this is her first experience with 8th Day and Kaila…… it was a disaster.It took a SECOND call to the Salon Manager before they made any attempt to rectify the situation by suggesting I bring her back for another appointment to ‘filled in’ the lashes that fell out. At this point, we were running short on time….and honestly, the workmanship was so bad I had no confidence in their ability to get it right the second time. They offered no refund, not even a partial refund, so I told them they could keep our money. We decided to take the loss and quickly moved on to seek out a professional at another salon the following day…..and the quality of work by comparison was highly noticeable and we were so please with the results!The cost for this service is not cheap and the time sitting in the chair is long and tedious, but the results can be amazing when performed by a well-trained professional. I hope this review helps save someone from wasting their time and money. Goodbye 8th Day Spa, we won’t be back!

My wifes been there and they do a great job with her hair and nails. Theyve also done great work with our daughters and Ive bought our real estate team all pedicures and they were in absolute HEAVEN!!! If I had hair, I would choose 8th Day Spa, for sure. Hands down.. This is one great place and the staff is phenomenal!PS - I love the fact that you can go order an espresso or latte while you wait. :)

My husband bought me a facial as a surprise and it was booked with Brittney. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She did such a great job and was able to offer products for my specific skin type without being pushy. By the time I left the appointment I felt like I had known her for years even though I just met her! I will be booking with Britt again!

I just left the salon and couldnt be happier!! I went to Great Clips (I know that was my first mistake) and hated it. The lovely Maya made it look amazing!! She even showed me how to style it real quick Within minutes my anexity was gone. Its exactly what I wanted!! I should have just gone here to begin with. Thank you so so much!! What a disappointment. I scheduled a facial a week in advance, but when I arrived they had nothing scheduled for me. This place must be so unorganized if they lose appointments that easily. Won’t waste my time on this place ever.

Worse nail Experience ever and I neverrr leave reviews, but this was horrible! I had Lu as a technician today and I was left almost in tears. She started off with using the drum machine on my bare nails to “fix” my cuticles and in “in order for the dip gel to stick to my nails better”, and ended up splitting my skin and hurting me, to the point where I had to ask her to stop because it was so painful. Then ended off with the worse dip gel job, with specks in the polish. Thankful to the manager and Thao, who quickly fixed the problem, but honestly this should have never occurred in the first place. Someone needs to speak to the technicians and I feel like, unfortunately, unless I leave a review like this, that won’t happen. Not only is this bad customer service, but using the machine on people’s skin to trim cuticles, can also spread infections and should not be used as a technique, ever.

8th Day Spa is a great place to go, they are very inviting and really friendly. I love that they have a espresso shop so that you can sip on some coffee while getting your hair or nails done (or anything else for that matter) by their amazing employees. I really recommend trying this place out, they will make you feel comfortable and you will always leave satisfied.

Nail people are great. Hair lady didnt speak english very well and tried to straighten my curly hair when wet.... like no. NOOOOO. but the nails are always perfect. I just have a hard time saying stopIm sorry i dont feel heard. So then im just anxious. I have nothing against not speaking english perfectly but i need to know that what i want is being understood. Then i felt rude like asking over and over when it was apparent we were on different pages. I felt terrible. I never want to make someone feel bad. Especially when they are genuinely trying. 😔

My mom and I have been going to 8th Day Spa for the last seven (7) years together for mommy-daughter time. Even when we moved about 40 minutes away, we still venture back because the services and staff never disappoint. :-)

These ladies do wonderful work. I have really small fingers, I mean like kid hand sized fingers. The ladies that gave me fake nails did a wonderful job at making them look more natural and not big and bulky.

Brazilian wax was very well done. Gel manicure was very good as well.

8th Day is the best! My nails have never looked better. My gel manicures last forever and never chip or peel. The atmosphere is wonderful, too. They even have a coffee bar!4 years later and Im still their #1 fan!

I got a pedicure and French manicure and neither of the nail techs gave me the design I asked for. They are suppose to be known for their great nail art but I didnt get hardly any nail art and what I did get was smudged and awful. The nails techs told me NO when I asked for something and they said they didnt have time to do all ten nails. I asked for a French pedicure and the lady told me No as well. Im not impressed at all. They need better customer sercive. Im paying them and I should be able to get the design I ask for without them arguing with me.

Ive been here 4 times, trying to give this place another chance (and the last time was because my husband had bought me a gift card). The people there are rude, this is the 2nd time I had booked appointments only to get bumped by their more demanding customers. One time it happened with my sister in law, who I was treating out for her bridal shower. She was supposed to get nail art done, though waited for almost an hour, as the nail artist walked around with her latte, not having anything else to do. She had to be told multiple times that she had an appointment before my sister in law finally got her nail art done. I had to cancel this part of my appointment, as we were already late for a dinner reservation.

Always get my nails & waxing done here. Amazing service and tons of polish and gel colors to choose from! Melissa does EXCELLENT nail art!! Hands down best nail salon around!

I do not live or work in Federal Way/Browns Point, but I will drive to 8th Day Spa for pampering. Not only are the manicure and pedicure services impeccable, I have had lovely facials. I have recommended 8th Day to friends in Seattle as well, and we love it!

As a birthday gift to myself last year I went to 8th Day spa for a facial and it was amazing! Highly recommended, plus I got a great discount because it was my first visit.

They always give a great pedi but the last few times I have went the polish has not lasted long. Also, last time I went in for my wedding nails they did them incorrectly and I didnt have time to have them fixed and also my toes were messed up, they fixed, but then it was still all smudged when I got home. That day sums up my reasoning for finding a new nail salon. But if you havent tried 8th Day, they are worth a shot.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE. Their stylists are all terrible. This is the second time Ive gone here (why did I even go back?) where their stylists messed up my hair. This time, I had to go THREE TIMES and my hair still looks so bad, and they refused to give me my money back. So I paid $110, cancelled important plans, missed some work, and had to go out of my way for them to mess up my hair. And they wont even compensate me for their mistakes. Also their parking is horrible.

So my mom and I had pedicures scheduled and when we got to the spa there was no parking so we asked the girl working the desk where to park. After we finally got parked we told the girl at the front desk how frustrating their parking situation is. She got very short with my mom after she said the their owner needs to look into this issue. We ended up leaving before our appointment because of how rude the front girl got with my mom. Im sorry but this is unacceptable. We will never be returning to 8th day spa because of their rude desk girl.

I live in Renton and whenever I am in Tacoma I make sure to make an appointment to make a nail or eyebrow appointment.Everyone that works there is very nice and it is a relaxing enviroment. I have been going to 8th day spa for a couple years. I like getting my nails done and my eyebrows done. I told my daughter inlaw that it was a great place. She had her hair colored before her vacation. It didnt turn out right so she called and they said they would redo her hair. After they did her hair they charged her again! I called to talk with Derrick who never called me back. I left serveral messages. She called no response. Still havent had this delt with even though we were told that i believe her name was Amber would work something out with Nicole. Nicole called and left messages but no return call. I have had salons do my hair and if it doesnt turn out right they fix it no charge to you! Not 8th day! They will gladly charge you to fix their mistake. I will not go here anymore. The girls at the desk are snotty! Heaven help you if you are not happy with a sevice.

So love seeing 5 stars. People can be so hard to please. Parking was a lil tough but thats because they are not in the middle of nowhere, they are right where I need them, close to all my favorite things and comfortable. The gals are always so sweet, i mean they didnt go build a new parking lot for me... like others think they should, but they have always accomodated me even when I know I should have booked sooner. Theyre popular because theyre great. I get my Brazilians done here. I work in Seattle and have tried every where in between Seattle to Tacoma, these gals know what theyre doing. I find they are great at reducing the pain, being quick and making what could be a uncomfortable situation comfortable.We have had our nails done here too, and enjoyed our girly chats where the other sweet customers always join in and I feel like Im apart of a spa family :). I wouldnt say the nail quality is above and beyond for the price, but the people will always keep me coming back!Ive also had my lashes curled lasted the promised 4 weeks. They still stood out for a few more weeks, but about 6 weeks they did go back to normal blah. I will totally get this again, right before the man comes back from deployment, it actually feels amazing!Lastly whether youre up for a mimosa or a latte, I have seen those floating around.I havent had my hair done, but will update when I do. The hair team is always friendly though.Keep up those smiles gals, and dont let the snobbies take away your shine. Your great attitude can change someones day, week, even month! ♡♡♡

Been visiting this Spa for a few years now. Loved the old staff but the new staff is coming along quite nicely. Recently received a Pedicure from Lena (New Technician) and she did an excellant job on my toes..very detailed and thorough. Have always been in love with the atomosphere here..will always continue to come back because of the great work they provide to the customer. Kia and Erika are great receptionist as well and personalize the experience with the guest.
