Booked do to my usual haircut place not having any appointments anytime soon. First and last time. The quality for sure not worth the price. Asked for a specific hairs style very well known. Didnt come out looking remotely close.

The sign on their window said Walk Ins Welcome. Two barbers, one lady and one man were lounging on their respective sofas. They informed me that they were all booked up for the day and that I was not welcomed. Hmm. So, I went to ask the third barber, Marcus, if he had an appointment available, since he was hard at work. I informed him that it didnt have to be today. He promptly and very professionally booked me an appointment for the very next day. He was indeed an angel. I really appreciated his charm. If I wasnt such a tight wad, I might have booked that appointment, but who can afford San Diego Living, ugh. Im so used to my barbershop in Temecula.Anyhoo. Two stars. Not for the lounge actors. But for the nice barber, who treated an old Navy gal, with proper decorum. Kudos. Maybe next time, I will try Marcus. But it just wasnt in the stars. Not today.

Usually never leave reviews... however; I need to for this place, one of the best places to get a haircut!!! Shoutout to Carly for being like a big sis to me, her and the rest of the crew treats me like family! They are not awkward like other places, they make you feel welcomed! Ive been coming to this place for the past 5 years and have never left disappointed. Everyone here is really nice and make me feel appreciated! Carly especially is amazing!!! Their new shop is really nice too, it’s a lot bigger and real nice on the inside. My favorite thing here is the shampoo and scalp massage they also put a hot towel over your face while they do it which is a great end to an already great haircut!

When you walk in on a holiday weekend be prepared to wait but wait anyhow. Just sit back and watch the way each of the hairdressers listen to what you are looking for in a cut and apply their expert skills to each cut. Had to fix my hair when I got home, had to even it out at the top, the guy left patches of longer hair. They dont have good communication skills so they messed up my haircut and I could say that its one of the worst and possibly THE worst haircut I got. Hair is uneven and Im suppose to attend a big event in a few weeks. Could have done better if they listened to the instructions correctly and not do whatever they were doing. I would recommend not going here, you will just waste your money on something that you didnt ask for.

I can’t speak for all of the staff, but the blonde woman I had cutting my hair just decided to completely disregard my instructions. I gave very simple instructions to get a light trim in the same style as I already had. We discussed it for a bit, and finally started to get a hair cut. I’ve had my hair cut at a lot of places in my time, and this is the first where I was not facing the mirror which was quite irritating considering the fact I couldn’t realize my hair cut was getting ruined. For starters, I requested a trim that left me with a little over half of my current hair. Straight forward enough. I end up having a hair cut that didn’t even allow me to brush my hair properly for a comb over. Secondly, the style was completely ruined. Usually I like my hair to get progressively longer in the front for my combover, but somehow she did it backwards (?) It looks ridiculous and embarrassing. I combed my hair both to the left and to the right just to make sure she didn’t just reverse the side to flip on, and either way it looks absurd. By the end of the hair cut, I could sense that I barely had any hair left so I didn’t really want to look at myself in the mirror. When the blonde woman brought up a mirror and asked how I looked. I shot a quick glance at it and added a, “yeah, it’s good,” out of politeness. She was quick to rudely add, “you barely looked at it.” After already being upset about the hair cut, and trying to be as polite as possible, this really upset me and made me write this review. I’ve never written an online review in my life and probably never will again, but I was just so upset. Would not recommend the blonde woman to anyone. Honestly feel bad giving the entire store a one because I have no idea how the staff are, and the place seems chill, but she made me not want to go back. All I say is that if you go there, avoid the blonde.

I walked in and right away a heavier set woman asked what kind of gel I used? I told her the one I used and she told me to go home and wash it out. Really? Im never stepping foot in the establishment. You lost a customer. I would not recommend this barber shop to anyone. Dont waste your time or money in this place.

I am very specific about my hair and Frankie is the only guy I will let touch it. I am not the easiest customer to deal with but he always pulls of the haircut I want even if I give him the most bizarre instructions. He wont let me leave unless it is perfect because he cares about his rep. If you want a perfect haircut go here. He has done fades, faux hawks, undercuts, line ups, hard lines, v taper... and these were all mine and it is always perfect.

Terrible. My son received the worst hair cut ever. he had asked for number two on top and number one on the sides. Before we even knew it, she started with number one on top. When I told her that she messed up, she insisted that she is applying number two and one, but you can tell it was all number one. She was very rude and too stubborn to even apologize. My son was extremely stressed out. DONT GO THERE

Gwt a cut from Pete oe dont get one at all. I gave a barber a physical example of what i wanted (there was a guy there with my same haircut style) and he cut it so short immediately and said sorry i didnt know what you wanted. Rude staff as well talking and gossiping about customers that come in and out its unprofessional.

3rd time was a charm except the 4th..Came here on the 4th time thought I finally found the place but maybe have slightly changed my mind a bit of this place...had a girl with purple hair...while I was waiting she asked what kind of haircut I was getting. ..I said getting a medium fade...she asked I was doing a line up and I thought it was just random asking what kind of haircut I was getting and if I was getting a line up as I am waiting to sit on the chair...so my thought this woman may be a newbie....so shes cutting my hair and we get to the end and I ask her if she can blend in the corners because I like my hair lookong well blended and flat...but it still gave me the George Washington appearance on the sides....I told her if she can blended. ..but immediately she had an impatient verbal tone with me...she said it was because my hair grows in odd directions so its ok...so I knew she was not going to cater to her customer and doing what the customer requested and I just left I paod of course...Avoid the woman with the purple hair! Her chair has all the NFL seahawks stuff all around the mirror.
