Oil change for my M4. Got me in and out quickly. Mike was quick, informative, and professional. Quoted 90 minutes, but had me on the road in an hour, and that included a complimentary wash and vacuum. Comfortable waiting area, though I was surprised that they didnt open their WiFi network to customers. No bother, I was able to tether to my phone and work anyway. My one gripe is that my oil service was supposed to include a multi-point inspection, including brakes. I didnt see any sort of printout of this inspection on leaving and this morning, on my way to the office, my brake system light came on telling me it was time to change my pads. Odd timing, but certainly a good indication that the inspection was not completed as advertised. I will be back for sure, but the only reason I ever take my car to the dealer is so that I get access to proactive information. That did not happen in this case.

Came here with routineMaintenance. The guys here are top notch. From the moment you drive in they greet you politely and professionally. Was helped by Mike who was superb. He explained everything in great detail on what the car needed and what his recommendations were. Did not try and sell me a ton of expensive things but really just recommended what the vehicle needed and helped me prioritize. No pressure just a genuine, nice guy and fun to talk to.The loaner cars were also super clean and staff friendly as well. I would highly recommend them.

I took our car to the BMW dealership to handle two factory recall issues. While there, they identified a couple of additional things that were still covered on an extended warranty, which didnt require any payment on my part. Because they needed to keep my car over the weekend, they provided both Uber and a courtesy vehicle, with no cost to me.Its nice to find ONE person in a business establishment who is pleasant to work with. But in the course of my activity there, I interacted with at least six people. ALL OF THEM were polite, kind, generous, thoughtful, helpful (Im running out of adjectives), which made the entire experience really pleasant. I would recommend them without reservation.

Oil sensor and low beam light came out. I also had low front right tire.To fix light took time because new light has to be delivered.I had nice loner car for the time my car was at service center.Everything was done efficient and great!I truly enjoy to be customer at BMW service center in Escondido!I do have a request for BMW. I want to trade my current car to new BMW M2 2022 in the neatest future. I hope I will get help with that!

Derek the service manager is awesome. I’ve taken both of my BMW’s to Brecht Collision. Derek and his crew always take care of me. Always satisfied with the work they do. They take pride in making sure customer is happy. I recommend this body shop to all my friends and family. Perfection is an understatement. Every one we talked to was nice enough, and they have really nice cars on display. Out of nice things to say. They had trouble calling us about the car. They took our number, but called my wifes ex husband instead. Twice. (When asked why we were not called first, our question wasnt even acknowledged.) After a very awkward call with the ex we were informed the car was ready for pick up. We get in the loaner and sit in traffic for an hour to get the car back. The third call they tried was to the number we provided! (Only because the ex asked them to stop bothering him, not because they were trying to be decent at communication) Turns out they wanted to tell us they couldnt or didnt do the job and want us to turn around and do the drive again tomorrow when they might get to it then. Even with all the work covered under warranty I would suggest going to any other service center. Communication was terrible, no respect for our time, and the car still has the check engine light.

As a woman going into auto place you always have the worry about unnecessary charges. And yes there was a little confusion on what was asked and what was done. My husband just picked car up and wanted to understand the charged, was not asking for anything free. I will give BMW of Escondido 5 STAR because of James service manager. A plus customer service he listened researched and did not charge us at all. I may change my service adviser but will def be back to this dealership. Have been to another local service Bmw kearny Mesa, hands down Escondido the best, farther drive but it’s where I would go.

While driving my new BMW near Escondido my tire picked up a screw and the warning system advised pulling over. I was able to run the tire to this business arriving at 5 pm on a Friday. Hector A. at the service center couldn’t have been nicer especially considering the time and day. I was assured the tire would be ordered and he directed me to order a loaner car while he did his paperwork. So smooth and painless as I had anticipated a ruined weekend. My Total Care insurance took care of all expenses and Hector communicated to let me know about progress and completion. I would highly recommend dealing with BMW of Escondido based on my recent experience.

I bought a vehicle from BMW of Escondido in 2020. At the time of purchase, I paid for the Cilajet paint sealant or “Ceramic Coating.” The dealership completely skipped the paint preparation stage and applied the product, or so I was told. The process took about 45 minutes. The vehicle was left with swirl marks and water spots all over. Several months later, I scheduled an appointment to have the car prepped correctly and the product reapplied under warranty. I was told they would take extra care of it and remove all swirl marks. The staff was friendly throughout my visit, but the car still looks the same. It looks like they just washed it and halfway waxed it. Swirl marks were still all over the vehicle, and even water smear marks. They also applied the product inside the vehicle, and now my new car smells like chemicals instead of premium leather. Overall, BMW Escondido provided a great buying experience, but they are not professional detailers, and should not be pushing “Ceramic Coating” onto customers. Know better and don’t let a dealership wash or detail your cash, they will ruin the paint. Definitely skip the extra options they offer, regardless of how much they pressure you into it. A good experience turned bad by BMW Escondido because they wanted to make an extra $1200.

I should pick up my car on last Friday. But the car was ready without anyone’s notice. I left a message on Friday, Saturday and the following Monday. I kept checking my car status. Finally, The service advisor got the phone and told me that it was too busy to call me up on Friday. The car was ready on last Friday.I had a loaner car. There was a 100 mile limitation on the loaner car which gave me a hard time to cancel an important meeting in Los Angels. And there was no oneAnswered my phone at service department on Saturday too. I felt very upset on this service.

Didnt even tell me anything good even though I told them the that water pump keeps running when the car was off they did a simple diagnose on the car for 200$ them call me saying they wanted do an another diagnose for 200$ more so was gonna be more them 400$ just on diagnose is better to just take it to a good mechanic

Came in for 3 recalls on my BMW M3. They scratched my steering wheel being careless and didnt even notify me I had to point it out and have the service manager compare it with pictures they take when you drop your vehicle off. Sure enough it was not there. I got no apology, nothing other than it will take 3 days to get the part. Also when servicing the faulty battery cable there were miscellaneous loose bolts in the battery box! Needless to say I was surprised at the sub par attention to details. The service managers were helpful but again, the actual service was not up to expectation for a BMW dealership

My BMW was originally going in for Break fluid flush and the technician stated 3 tired were bald. I ended up replacing them as well. Michael was my service advisor. He was professional and applied my email discount towards my Break fluid replacement. I would definitely go back and recommend.

While I do think BMW’s repair prices are high, I can count on Hector to not try and “sell” me or pressure me on things. Not a huge fan of the 199.00 diagnostic fee... This makes it impossible to get other estimates. I encourage my clients in my business to get other quotes so that I can be fair in pricing.

Then I checked reviews for BMW certified shops and Brecht had flying colors! I took my car there and was immediatly put to ease. I felt like I was treated like a second class citizen. Harris kept saying I should wait for my car bc loaners were in high demand. He asked me when I will get it back to them and that it needs to be by 9 am! I explained I would do my best but I shoupd add I’ve been coming to this service center for the past 4 years for my BMW and that the issue they were fixing for the 3rd time was the back brake light bar that has fallen out due to being defective 3 seperate times and I was charged the first two times! Be kind and value your customers is the bottom line.

I was hit by debris on the freeway and brought my car in to be repaired. It wasnt a huge dent but the sensors were going off so I wanted to make sure it was taken care of. Brought it in, they ran a bunch odd tests, ordered the parts, and I just got it back as good as new. Thank you for a great job!

When I came in I was told that the required services would come in around $970. Before I left it came down to around $800. Later BMW left a message saying that they were able to take it down from $800 to $680. When I checked the invoice I noticed that they charged the same amount of labor to change the oil as to change the cabin filter as to change the air filter. I’ve changed all of these items and I know that the air filter replacement is a 10 minute job. Oil change is the longest. Not satisfied with the cost of getting the work done. Free car wash left the wheels dirty.

Brecht Auto Body Shop & Collision Repair Center (Brecht Appearance Center) is the BEST in San Diego! I would never bring any of my Beemers anywhere else! Their professional body repair mechanics brought my 2013 BMW 335i M-sport and 2016 BMW 328i SULEV sedans to SAME AS NEW condition after a slight fender bender. Their manager Dereck Knutson, staff member Hunter, and auto mechanic Alex are awesome customer-oriented professionals. The quality of work they do is top notch! Don’t bring your ultimate driving machine to any collision repair center; bring it to Brecht in Escondido. Drive safe out there…

My 2014 328I made a strange noise during acceleration and when going over rough roads. My customer service representative (Hunter) listened intently and immediately got a technician (Ralf) to go for a ride around the block to diagnose the problem. Within 2 minutes of driving Ralf around the block, he identified the probable cause. The team provided me with a loaner vehicle free if charge & had my vehicle ready for pick up in 24 hours.

I bought a car there and they told me one price out the door, and when I sign the paperwork was1500 $ more and I was no, this is not the price, and I ask for the paperwork that shows the price and magically disappeared, so they couldn’t find a paper that they just quoted, so I had to pay for extra security camera that they could just take it off, so after 4 months I had a damage with my car and was the cooling, so I went back and they said they will fix it and they just put a ring in there that supposed to stop the lik and it didn’t, it just make it worse, I had to pay extra 2000$ to fix it , and when I called them they said we didn’t force you to buy the car.So , bad experience, the guy who sold me the car is not even working there anymore and that was 4 months ago...

It was the most wonderful experience. All the way up until the very end... I took my BMW in for some recalls. Even though my car is older, it is in very good condition. Minus the barley noticable dent in the back door from my toddler. Upon picking my car up from the service center, I noticed my hood emblem was missing. I am most certain it was there when I arrived because I take great pride and care in my car. When I brought the missing emblem to the attention of the service writer the response I got in lieu of and apology was Well its not technically missing. Its just delaminated. The heat or something must have loosened it. WHAT...!?! Needless to say I was extremely dissatisfied with this response. To be quite honest, I was in such shock I calmly got back in my vehicle and drove away. This is not the kind of response or service I had expected from a BMW dealership. What if I had returned the courtesy car without its emblem? Im very bummed about it and I will not be returning. Maybe try another service center. Wouldnt want something to fall off of your car too.

I just moved from North Carolina and have obviously been spoiled by the personal service I got. When I dropped off my car on Friday, no one told they were closed on Saturday. When I called on Monday to find out what was going on, I waited 2 hours until I had to call back again. When I picked up the car, no one talked to me.. just handed me my receipt and checked me out. I had them diagnose a check engine light and was quoted a fixed price for the diagnosis. After declining the service they recommended as the result of diagnosis, they tried to charge me more, saying they had to add DEF and fuel to do the diagnosis. I had not approved this and declined to pay the extra amount. The dealer backed off, but the whole experience was not great.

They couldn’t align my wheels because they only use equipment for bmw wheels only, they couldn’t do a courtesy wash after the 800 Bill. They left the seat cover and other trash in my passager seat, they have no WiFi for the customers and the cellular in that area is non existent. Couldn’t download my proof of insurance so I couldn’t get a loaner. They were nice and offered an Uber, I told Noah the sales rep I can just walk home it’s only 10 min, he said I can get a shuttle. I Wait several minutes to get a text the shuttle will be there in 10 min. Gave up and just walked home. Asked them to replace a missing screw where the boost controller is, my fault it was missing. 10 min job max, they wanted to charge me an 1hr and a half labor. The service rep was at lunch so I ended up mentioning it to Noah and Noah responded ( The service tech has to get paid too) being very snarky. I said it’s a 10 min job max, he shot back ( Sir I don’t want to argue with you)... Seriously why do you allow people to work in an upper end car dealership with an attitude like that. He knew I was having a bad experience and just fueled the fire... Apart of the experience when you buy a bmw is the service. Audi service was amazing, BMW not so much...Never again will I take it to the dealership. Better to support the small mom and pop shops.Update: A week hasnt even gone by and I get a drivetrain malfunction warning. Car started running rough and went into limp mode. Luckily BMW Vista was close by and was able to limp her in the service center. I come to find out that I was correct when I asked the service consultant at Escondido if I should get my plugs changed, he said my records said no, that I would be fine for another 10k miles. Vista BMW recommended that the plugs should be replaced at 60k. The car is only a few hundred miles till I hit 60k, why Escondido didnt recommend Im not sure. I also come to find out that both my rear axle seals were leaking and recommended that I have them rebooted. I agreed and had them do the repair. They also recommended that I get my car aligned, surprised because Escondido was not able to to do the alignment on my car. Remember that missing bolt that was missing from the boost controller that Escondido wanted to charge an hour and a half for labor for max a 10 min job, Vista BMW just did it free of charge. At this point Im doing back flips. The courteous Service that Ramon Ventura gave me and the very detailed paperwork with pics of all the issues before and after the repair is nothing Ive seen before from any repair shop. One last surprise, they washed my car for me, they didnt leave the seat protecters and trash in the passenger seat. Ramon was professional, informative and knowledgeable about all the questions I had. This dealership was a complete different experience and renewed my hope in dealerships. Guess where we are going when we get my fiancé her BMW. Escondido, you missed out on additional repair costs and also selling another vehicle. You lost my trust Escondido of BMW, thank you again Ramon and BMW of Vista...

BMW Escondido had a promotion for an oil change. $120 for a 6 cylinder car. I never once had a good experience at BMW San Diego, and it was so refreshing to be surrounded by friendly and efficient staff. They even provide a military discount for active duty. It cost $800 to change the oil and some filters and a vehicle check. The vehicle check was $200 and I didn’t get a report of what they checked. They called and said the car was ready and I showed up 45 min later. They couldn’t find the keys and then still had to put the car through the wash. I was given a dripping wet vehicle that I had to buff out when I got home. Not a fan...

The service department has always been helpful and they provide us with information we need to make decisions around the maintenance of our X5. I don’t ever feel pressured or manipulated by our service writer.
