Katham replaced my AC within 72 hours of my request; the entire system needed replacement. They came out to evaluate it the day I called to inform them of the problem; they didnt give me a 4 hour window like most companies. they gave an exact time and were very prompt. They were honest and fair with the pricing. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend them!

The choice is simple - You should use them.I purchased a house that was maintained by Katham. It was an older home, but you wouldnt know it from looking at the mechanical room. The boilers were 10 years old and looked like they were new. The inspector told me that he knew of Katham and that they were awesome.Naturally I kept them and Ive been thrilled.Scheduling - You call and you get a quick appointment.Customer Service - You have questions, they get answered quickly (same day).Ownership - Really cares, and that gets passed through the organization.Value - This is the real metric. If you only look at price, these guys may not be the cheap answer (theyre certainly not the most expensive either). Having said that, these are expensive systems that can break. So you need to look at the cost of saving a dime upfront. You have a choice you can be proactive and make these systems last for a long time, or you can go with the cheap guys and get hit with surprise and premature replacement bills.Again the choice is simple - you should use them.

Perri - a scam AC repair company - that I needed a completely new system, AC coil, condenser etc. and that it was going to cost me $10,000, Katham came out was honest and had my system up and running in less than two hours to the tune of $600. Its very hard to find a reliable service company. Over the past 20 years, I have tried dozens of vendors. Katham Industries is by far one of the best. I would highly recommend their services as they are professional, responsive and friendly. I have dealt with them for about 6 years (they have installed / repaired dampers, evaporators, a/c systems and exhaust fans for me) and I have never had any issue with any aspect of their services. We were very satisfied with the installation of our air conditioning and air filter. The young men who arrived at our home were knowledgeable and competent as was Mr. George Katham, owner. The workers were friendly and respectful of our home taking care to keep it clean and not to break anything ( They even wore booties on their feet to keep our floors clean).Before leaving, they gave us an explanation of the new equipment and a small demo of how things work. After cleaning and leaving, we never knew they were here.

These folks were very professional. In the middle of a hot summer day, when the AC failed, they came the next morning and they stayed on the job for a number of hours until the problem was rectified. We highly recommend Katham Industries for your HVAC needs.The HVAC installers are skilled professionals and the installation was thought out. They maneuvered around the available attic, ceiling, wall, and floor spaces to provide the appropriate air register quantities needed for the home. This is not necessarily easy as we had an open concept layout. The ceiling registers were proportionally placed and in a good visual line with the ceiling lights. All workers were exceptionally good hearted professionals saying ma’am and sir.At the end of the job they took away all of the waste packaging materials.We were really pleased and used them to replace our rental property HVAC unit as well.Thanks for jobs well done!

Katham Industries just installed a 75 gallon hot water heater. The work was quick, excellent and fully explained to me. Several years ago they installed an entire air -cond sustem for my top two floors. They actually did the work while I was on vacation. I trusted them completely with my house keys. I can’t say enough good things about Katham Industries. I called them for the first time because I was having a problem with my air conditioning system. I had been using another company for years and had never really been satisfied with the service. I spoke with Athina, the office manager, who was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable, and set up an appointment with her for the next day. The technicians, who arrived on time to the minute (wow!), were well-groomed, personable and able to diagnose the problem immediately. They had the necessary part on the truck and my air conditioning system was up and running in two hours.The next day, Athina called to make sure that everything had gone well and that I was still “cool.” I was, and have been every since.Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, George, who came out to the house to give me an estimate on a generator. What a decent guy - and I had the estimate that afternoon – amazing. His price wasn’t the lowest, but I plan to go with him. Will review the installation after it happens. Can’t imagine I won’t be pleased.

We had previously used a few other local companies for some issues both major and minor, but were never thrilled with the service (can you say huge leak!) so when our basement system kicked the bucket, we figured we would give Katham a try. They sent someone right away (in a snowstorm) to diagnose and came back in the morning to replace the piece. Fast forward a few months and we called them for another issue in our upstairs unit. Again they came right away to diagnose and fix the issue. We’ve also had them install a new exhaust after a kitchen renovation. The owner goes above and beyond for his company and the Katham technicians are extremely clean, polite and very knowledgeable. After some nightmare situations, we feel we’re now in extremely capable, fair and trustworthy hands with Katham.

I had a terrible experience with George Katrandjian and Katham Industries which went on for many months. I paid him promptly for his work at my home. However when problems arose with the modified furnace I spent almost a year communicating with George Katrandjian, president and owner of Katham Industries, requesting he repair the modified furnace and my new furnace. The modified furnace failed to work properly and my renter was without heat. He refused to correct the furnace. I had to hire another Hvac company to fix what George couldn’t or wouldn’t repair. I learned from another Hvac person George had miscalculated the btu output resulting in no heat. Additionally when I went to the city and pulled required permits (which he should have pulled) the city failed both furnaces!!! I was forced to take him and Katham Industries to Bergen County court. I won the case and George had to fix his mistakes. Instead of being gracious about his mistakes he sent me nasty and rude emails. The city of Englewood, my renter, and my new Hvac plumber (30+ years of experience) were directly involved. They can verify my unfortunate experience with George and Katham Industries.

I cant speak highly enough of Katham Industries. I called them after our heat suddenly stopped working (outside temp around 12 degees at the time) on a Saturday afternoon. I spoke with the owner, George, who walked me through checking the furnace and exhaust vent for any blockages over the phone, and when that didnt work he personally came out to our house. George diagnosed the problem as a bad igniter and swapped it out with a replacement he had with him. Within 1 hour of my initial call Katham had the heat working again, 5/5 great service!
