Called them fist thing Sunday morning, phone was answered immediately by a friendly woman. She passed message on to tech who called me pretty quick. Was out within 90 minutes and diagnosed and fixed the a/c within 20 minutes. Reasonable price for repair, will definitely use them again.

Many many thanks to Bud for noticing a problem with the efficiency of our air handler and mentioning it to Mike, who okayed a replacement part and allowed Bud to install it the minute it came in. They successfully maintained an older system giving three additional years of service. They then helped me purchase, finance, install and maintain a brand new Trane system. Most recently they repaired components under warranty. Their service is prompt and professional as well as affordable. The owner is accessible and very knowledgeable.

We were having problems with our RV air conditioning thermostat. When we had finally gotten a call back from Stew we were totally shocked at the unprofessionalism. He was being very rude. He said I bet you didnt label anything either, the blue goes with the blue the green with the green, etc and if you cant figure that out call me later. His tone was like talking to a preschool student. I will never recommend this place again.

I tried calling manufacturer, but they pushed me back to installer.The road long, the road is winding. Its about a mini split they installed in my garage. I read reviews. People read them. I would like to share my experience with Kobie Complete Heating and Cooling. I have a contract with them for service for about 2 years. my prior company dropped us because he could not fix our AC and left us with out AC. They were wonderful, the fixed it but had to return a few times but did not charge for the additional appointments, they stand behind their work. All who I have been in contact with are nice and professional. After Irma, still having stress; we lost our AC and as this was unexpected money was not fluent. We have a finance agreement which I did not understand how it worked, and had many questions about the new system. Everyone attempted to answer my questions. Still having issues with understanding (stress) I went to the office, the president Ted Steele sat with me for over an hour and answered all my questions explained in plain langue without being condescending. I was very impressed! I highly recommend them. They come when they say they will and sometimes will call to see if they can come earlier. As I said everyone is great. Gail & Gary.

Prompt and professional. My air handler was fixed and Steve took extra time to educate me on several important issues regarding my system. As a single woman I appreciated the learning experience and the extra time and effort he gave to make sure I understood how to keep my system running properly.

I would highly recommend Kobie. Brad & Jonathan are not only both excellent at their jobs, but they are kind, polite and patient when answering your questions and I feel, honest. Jonathan was a lifesaver coming to my home after 9pm and stayed until 10:30pm making sure we had a cool home. He could not have been nicer or more gracious. I wanted to hug him, but he was all hot & sweaty! lol But, thanks to him, I wasnt anymore. I had Brad out to service my unit over a year ago, and cant say enough good about him too. We just moved to a new house in North Port and wanted to get our air conditioner checked and tuned up (the house was unoccupied for a while).Jonathan from Kobie Complete came out and did the tune up today. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. As first time home buyers we appreciated that he took the time to explain everything and also did not try to sell us something we dont need.Price seemed to be very fair.

We have used Kobie Complete Heating & Cooling Company for several years to service our old units, and have always been pleased with their work.We have just had a new Trane system installed and are very happy with the results.The installers worked in a very timely and efficient manner to install new outside and inside a/c units.Both installers were courteous and respectful, gave us a clear explanation of how the new equipment functioned, and left the work area clean and tidy.It was a pleasure to do business, and we highly recommend this company.

Moved into our home in January and called to have our air conditioner unit looked at since it is old and we were unable to locate the filter. They had a special going for 69.00 on cleaning so we set up our appointment. Chris was the technician that came and we could not have been happier with the knowledge he had and all the information he provided us. Very honest and pleasant man. He found the filters and cleaned the unit and charged it as the Freon was low. We signed up for the contract to come back out every 6 months to take care of our 27 year old Lennox unit that purrs like a kitten. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it holds out a bit longer. We were also given information about replacing the unit and so forth. Glad he will be looking after it for us as he was sure a pleasure. Thanks for the excellent customer service Chris!

We were completely satisfied with our experience with Kobie Complete. I called several places before deciding to go with Kobie and one of the main reasons was the professional and courteous demeanor of the person answering the phone, Carrie.She sent a technician by the nickname of Little John to service our unit. He was extremely professional, showed us where our filter was, how to clean and replace it, how to keep the hose clean and was very helpful answering all of our questions. He took care of cleaning the handler and unit in a very timely fashion, cleaned up the area her worked on and made sure all of our questions were answered.I should also mention that he came to our house well within the 2 hour timeframe that we were given.I would highly recommend this carrier and especially dealing with Carrie and having Little John maintain our A/C.Thank you for asking.Bette & Leo

This company completely sucks. They pretend to fix things. One idiot broke my equipment right in front of me but they deny it. Lying bastards. Try any other A/C company. They lie. They do NOT respect the so called warranty and literally lies about things. I had another company come in after paying this rip off company. The new one told me what kobie did to keep my maintenances more frequent but finally when Castle Air took over, that has never happened again.

Purchased new Trane from Kobie in April 2018. On 6/20/19(Sun), started turning off and on sporadically. Service call from Kobie diagnosed as clogged line, although dry at the time. Cost $176; $45 call, $45 diagnosis, $86 clear line..not unreasonable. 6/30/19. A/C stopped working. Called Kobie. They wanted to recharge me for visit and diagnosis, plus service and repair unless it was the same issue. I had no problem with repairs but balked at paying a second charge for visit and diagnosis. Family suffered through the night without a/c. Next day spoke with Mike at Kobie, who reiterated their policy to charge for visit and diagnosis, every time, if not the same issue, no matter what the time frame between visits. No considerations.No exceptions. Once they find an issue theres no requirement to do further diagnosis, until the next time, with an additional $95 service call. I contracted with another A/C contractor who assured me that they stand by their work for 30 days and would never charge another service call, regardless of the issue. Thanks Kobie.Update. Everythings working! Thank God. Englewood contractor found 5amp fuse in ahm blown. Replaced fuse. Checked all wiring. Found some water in float switch, vacuumed and CO2 surged twice(slime came out of line). Also flushed with water and refilled trap. Two hours on site. Total cost $89. This contractor gives two year service warranty with installation of new A/C. Due diligence. I wish I had done it.

Recently had both repair and maintenance work done. The repair specialist went above what was required in order to explain many things about the HVAC system that I did not understand. Optimized the system to work most efficiently. For our yearly maintenance, we also had a very nice young man who, although not feeling well, was very kind, professional and did a very thorough job.

Did not Fix the Problem after $212 and than wanted another $962 ..called diff company fixed for $89 ...TECH DID NOT PUT BACK TOGETHER PROPERLY .. FILED SMALL CLAIMS DOCS THRU LAW OFFICES ON DONALD HARRISON .............. EDITED 3 WEEKS LATER ..The AC HAS BEEN DRY FOR 3 WEEKS NOW ... EXPLAIN THAT !

I requested a service call, got a technician that indicated my entire unit should be replaced, so I called another service provider, he disagreed and repaired the unit and it has functioned great ever since, and that was close to six months ago. Bottom line, check and get second opinions when dealing with this company.

Kobie Complete replaced a Rheem 30,000 BTU condenser and a 30,000 BTU fan coil (1,000 CFM air flow) with a Lennox 38,000 BTU (2 speed) condenser and a Lennox 48,000 BTU fan coil (1,700 CFM air flow). The result...Poor dehumidification ( 60% and above RH) Extremely high noise level . 30 days after the duct system was cleaned and sanitized an air sample indicated toxic mold growth.The fan coil will only run on high speed when heat is required resulting in a draft that feels cold . I was told this is the way Lennox designed the system and it cannot be changed substantially. (10% reduction in air flow max)My suggestion: If you live in a warm climate (Florida) where there is a low output heating unit...Dont buy Lennox equipment. Kobie Complete did not properly evaluate the air delivery system and over sized the unit. Good salesperson, poor engineering.After certified letter and Email NO RESPONSE from Ted Steele (pres. Kobie Complete)BEWARE.....BEWARE....BEWAREMr. Steele E-mailed me saying they would be happy to quote me on a duct work upgrade....Which is not the problem, the system is OVER SIZED for the home per FPL and 5 other contractors. He further states we purchased the home as a foreclosure , this is UNTRUE. . The system Kobie complete installed WAS NOT properly engineered. There were no prior complaints because, the home was sold shortly after the sale to an unsuspecting older women who then sold it to an investment company as a rental unit....hence no complaints.. Kobie Complete appears to deal in half truths.In addition , the air handler Kobie installed was much larger than the original unit, resulting in adding further restrictions to the already over loaded return system.EVERYTHING STATED ABOVE IS BASED ON KOBIES OWN PAPER WORK
