I am so very grateful to Doctor Sambataro and the highly skilled team at The Julian Center. I had gone to Doctor DeLong there for many years before he retired. After I moved away from the area I found a more local dentist, but then I eventually ran into some dental issues that I needed expert help with so I turned back to The Julian Center driving over 500 miles to be evaluated for same day treatment. And once there, my issue was able to be resolved by core buildup and crown. I have had immediate relief from pain that has been troubling me off and on for years.My local dentist did a crown on a different tooth for me 10 months ago which, while done professionally well overall, it caused me a lot of discomfort and loss of sleep in the days following the surgery. In that local procedure, the temporary crown I was given was ill fitting, like a big pebble in my mouth. The difference between that experience and the experience with the crown that Doctor Sambataro did for me, is like night and day. During and after my crown procedure at the Julian Center I had zero pain, just a slight bit of soreness that resolved within a couple of days. The temporary crown feels totally normal just like a regular tooth, no loss of sleep, no pain while eating. I am confident I will not have the temporary fall out also, which happened with the crown my local dentist did.I have literally cried tears of joy and relief in the days following my recent procedure. You really can not find a better dentist and staff with more amazing space age tools than you will find at The Julian Center. Doctor Sambataro was also very empathetic and accommodating about my low pain tolerance (probably genetic) which my local dentist rolls her eyes at me about.In the future, if there is anything beyond the most basic routine cleanings that I need to have done, I will not hesitate to drive the 500 miles and pay a little more to have it done right the first time at The Julian Center. I will also be seeing them again from now on for annual check ups. It is a huge relief to be in such good hands with them.If you have any hesitation, let me put your fears at rest. The Julian Center is the best dental experience I’ve ever had both in terms of the quality of the dental care itself as well as the entire staff.Every test and procedure was explained to me in detail beforehand as well as during the procedures to let me know what was happening, why, and what to expect. I’ve never learned so much about my teeth. I have extremely sensitive gums and teeth. I am blessed to have found the Julian Center when I needed to get my silver fillings removed. Anybody who is into holistic health will love this place. I have had the privilege of receiving the extraordinary dental care at the Julian Center for over 10 years. I have had extractions, bridges, crowns, and implants, along with basic dental hygiene. I cannot speak highly enough about the exquisite resource that Dr. Sam, Cindi, and their team provide to the community: incredible wisdom, presence, skill, and deep care. This is holistic dentistry at its best. Is it expensive? The up front costs are higher than what people are accustomed to with conventional dentistry. The Julian Center, Dr. Sam, and his staff are amazing, I cannot say enough good things. I went to Dr. Sam to have my amalgam fillings removed. The center follows strict protocols for safely removing these fillings and they made me feel as though my safety and comfort was their main concern. Reading through some reviews I will agree that the fees are higher, however I would pay double what their fees are for the level of care at this center. At the Julian Center they believe in whole body health and do not behave as if your mouth is separate from your body like most of the rest of the world. They are the only dentist I have ever known to have a nutritionist on staff. They understand that your mouth is not only connected but is the gateway to the rest of your body and has huge effects on your overall health. This is the major difference at the Julian Center. Their fees may seem expensive when compared to another dentist who is just performing fill and drills and not addressing the real cause of the problem. The level of research that goes into this type of care costs money which equals higher fees which I am happy to pay. By addressing the cause of my health problems - my amalgam fillings, the Julian Center and doctor Sam have saved me years of pain and hours of my life going to regular doctors to waste time and money on band-aids for my symptoms. The Julian Center and Dr. Sam are not just a dental office and a dentist - they care about your whole body health.

Just had the most comprehensive initial dentist appointment of my life today at The Julian Center. Go back next week for follow up to go over all of the pictures, x-rays, ultrasounds, etc. and discuss treatment for underlying chronic infection caused by past root canals and improper amalgam filling removal. Dr Sambataro has a kind demeanor, sense of humor and great knowledge. I look forward to coming up with a treatment plan to better my health and smile.

Julien Center has a really friendly, caring staff. They do a really thorough evaluation and have state of the art equipment. They have methods that dont hurt as bad as other dentists, like the bite wings are padded, and I have a really sensitive gag reflex, but they used a little sea salt on my tongue which prevented me from having the gag reflex, neat trick!

For a good week I was dealing with toothache and inflamed gums, plus I lost part of my cavity from a tooth on the opposite side. Fearful that I had an abscess I finally called the Julian Center. On arrival my temperature was taken and once cleared was whisked in to get a picture then in no time at all Dr. Sam is doing his skillful work. No abscess was found and the cavity was repaired. Not once did I feel exposed to any possible contamination, but thats how its always been at the Julian Center, a very high level of professionalism and support!

I am very grateful to Dr. Sambataro! I was very ill with a systemic infection in another part of my body that would go away with treatment by my doctor but then come back a few days later. This went on for some time. Although I had no symptoms in my mouth, since the problem started the day after a traditional oral surgeon pulled a broken tooth with a root canal in it, it seemed possible that my body was becoming re-infected from where the tooth had been pulled but did not heal properly. My integrative physician recommended that I see Dr. Sambatero for a consultation. After examination, Dr. Sambataro agreed that this was a possibility. After re-opening the area and treating it, the systemic infection vanished and has not returned. Dr. Sambataro did a magnificent job, and I was very impressed with every aspect of his treatment. I highly recommend him!

The Drs and staff at the Julian Center are truly looking out for your best interest when it comes to your whole body health. It’s an experience like no other. I always get the best care possible here. Dr. Sam goes out of his way to help patients be more comfortable. For example, he applies some pain relievers before he has to inject you, and even slightly curves the needle to go around your tooth vs. moviing the needle in more uncomfortable ways. I love my care from them!

Everyone at this Center is so kind and so caring. I feel Im always in great hands with true professionals that are unlike any other dentistry practice that I have been to before. They evaluate the whole body not just your teeth and how everything interacts with each other. The alternative approach to me means, they use products that are safe for our whole body health. As a bonus, I love the fact that I can even get vitamins and guidance with my nutrition at the same facility! I went today for my first appointment. I was amazed at all of the imaging and evaluation they did. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff were very knowledgeable and clearly very competent. I havent yet seen the dentist but will follow up again after I see him.

DR. Sam and his staff are excellent. Ive have severe sleep apnea and do not like wearing a CPAP machine. Dr. Sam told me about an alternative device called a Homeobloc it kinda works like a retainer and doesnt allow your tongue to fall back blocking your airway. A custom fitting is required and once i received my appliance it immediately started showing results. I use a sleep tracker and my levels of REM sleep and deep sleep increased immediately . I feel more rested in the morning and a few minor adjustments were required to get it working at 100%. Cindy also is awesome she cleans my teeth, I also get nutritional advice and natural supplements. I once took a hockey puck to the mouth playing Ice hockey I immediately was seen to ensure i didnt do any permanent damage to my pallet or jaw bone structure. I highly recommend this practice. If your having sleep issues go see Dr. Sam , He way more than just a dentist..

I had a great experience at Julian Center! I know that sounds a bit strange, especially since going to the dentist has always been a nightmare. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The staff was great and I really loved my time with Cindy, the hygienist. She was warm and attentive and clearly explained everything she was doing. And Dr. Sambataro was so knowledgeable and supportive as he explained my options for treatment. We even discussed the quality of my sleep! I felt truly cared for and would recommend this office.

This is a kid-friendly place, in addition to being on the leading edge of being informed and instituting best practices for dentistry and so many supporting modalities. So, I had my five-year-old grandson with me today when I went for my six-months cleaning with Cindy. He was enthralled by all the state of the art equipment - were talking a huge investment - and the just-down-to-earth conversation about what and why - even though Grammy does a great job brushing and flossing - Miss Cindy is helping keep my teeth healthy and how important that is. Even the toothpaste she used to polish my teeth with has minerals in it that are absorbed by my teeth. My grandson got to meet Dr. Gene too. Dr. Gene is a down-to-earth guy. (Aside from the fact that I have great admiration and respect for his knowledge and the wellness center that he has created.) I know that my grandson will have a great dental check-up next time with Miss Cindy. Oh yes, he even got to choose a toy, for his good behaviour (over an hour!) - and a very cool toothbrush with a suction cup on the bottom.

My daughter and I love the Julian center! They fixed my jaw alignment issue after I suffered for years trying different things to get it aligned correctly. I saw the nutritionist at this office too. Shes the best there is! By listening to her advice, she practically eliminated my frequent headaches. My daughter loves the people there and cant wait for her 6 month checkups. My husband and I were referred to this group by a relative. After months and months of appointments, my husband decided to stop going. His plan was changed from what was promised during the initial visit. He was never satisfied with his partial dentures.I had a full upper denture and lower partial denture completed. I also had one tooth removed and five caps put on. After many appointments to rectify problem with lower denture, I decided to stop going as well. When we arrived home from my last appointment, my tongue was raw and cut from the dentures. This had been the problem since I got them. I was in tears when I got home and took the dentures out, and put them in a cup where they remain.My husband and I spent approximately $35,000 and we have nothing to show for it but my full upper denture and five caps. We are retired and have no funds to go to another dentist.On the bright side, I must admit that everyone there is welcoming and helpful. We liked all the staff.

The thing I like the most about going to Dr. Sam’s office is that it is so much more than a drill and fill dental office. Usually when I walk in, I am anxious. I know that this is conditioning after some bad experiences when I was a child. But after 15 years of going to Dr. Sam, you’d think I would be over it. After being greeted by friendly staff and getting some tea or water, I am feeling much better. The thing that really helps is Dr. Sam and his staff taking time – not only taking time to comfort me but to educate me. I know I am in good hands.

What an excellent practice. Some may balk at the price of their services but you are getting holistic and whole body treatment. Treating the body as a whole is THE best way to obtain peak wellness. It is amazing that your oral health effects things like your cardiac health, it is all connected.I had to get an extraction done. Many people kept saying to go a regular dentist cause of the price. But I dont mess around with me health. I am not financially stable by any means, but investing in my health is key to me. Well needless to say I had my extraction done at Julian Center and I was completely taken care of, including my post procedure care! I had a friend of mine go the other route and she got a bad infection in her jaw from things not being cleaned out properly (which is common)...So lets just say I am glad I went with my gut and invested in the extra quality care!!

I love going to Dr. Sam’s office, Julian Center. My favorite thing about the office and the staff is that they are holistic in their approach of treatment. Instead of always putting out fires and trying to fix things that go wrong, they look for and teach preventive treatment. They teach you what you need to do to take care of yourself and your dental needs. Sure, bad things happen sometime, as we get older things change. I recently had a tooth crack and had to go in and have it taken care of. But by and large, my dental health is excellent because I have followed Dr. Sam’s advice.

Just received my 6 months cleaning. Ms. Sambatero did her usual very thorough job with the cleaning, explaining what she was doing and why. She also asked, as always, if I had any questions or concerns. Also helpful in letting me know what I can do to help keep my teeth and gums healthy. Dr. Sambataro is an outstanding dentist and a warm, compassionate person. He leads an excellent team of professionals, while using the latest techniques and procedures that biological dentistry has to offer. This all takes place in a facility that seems more like a dental spa than a dental office. There are many dentists in my local area that I could see, but I gladly take the extra time to travel to his office.

Very professional and dedicated staff. Dr. Sambataro, and his associate Dentists are highly trained, with your wellness truly as their focus. My last cavitation surgery was remarkably almost devoid of pain, post-surgery. The fees are a bit on the high-end, but I believe you are getting the care you are paying for.

I have always found the staff to be professional and courteous at all times. While it is more expensive than conventional dental offices, the approach to your dental care and overall well being is much healthier. I drive 40 minutes from my home because there is no dentist in our area that practices with this philosophy.

While this place might specialize in removing toxic mercury from peoples teeth, it must spread the cost of doing so across those who do not need this service. My very small, cosmetic repair cost almost twice what I paid my dentist before he transferred his practice to the Julian Center. Moreover, they dont give a true senior discount until you are 70, and there is no consideration of the charges if you dont have insurance. I will be leaving my dentist of 20 years, whom I have trusted and whose dental skill and care is beyond reproach because I will not be able to sustain the high costs of the Julian Center. Their highly professional and state of the art dentistry, is offset by their strict adherence to policies that are unsympathetic to those who are unable to pay this unreasonably high costs. I have transferred my records to another dentist.

This is a great office for getting dentist work done from Chief cleaning to getting Mercury fillings removed and replaced with healthier alternative. I have also done work with night laser therapy with this office and the assistance of dr. Sambataro who has been my trusted dentist for the past 8 years. I am having orthodontia to repair and straighten my teeth after 2 failed ortho treatments by other dentists.Please remember that you get what you pay for: is the Julian Center perhaps more expensive than other dentists you can find? Very disappointed in lack of personal attention. Have been to office a couple of times for treatments and have never met the dentist - only hygienist. I believe that their prices are much, much higher than other dentists and believe that their service level is much, much lower. Go elsewhere.

Dr. Sambataro replaced all my mercury fillings with non toxic ones and I would not have had anyone else do it......the whole office is totally professional and absolutely state of the art in non toxic dentistry.......

You can go to other dentists but they are only technicians and don’t think or understand anything. They poisoned me at age 12 with a combination of new amalgam fillings and tin-can braces. I asked dentists along the way if my teeth cracking and turning gray meant that mercury was leaching out. They assured me that never happens, even as they further poisoned me with toxic fluoride treatments. I only figured it out for myself at age 59 after my life was ruined. During my patient evaluation Dr. Sambataro learned that I urgently needed my amalgams out so I could detox. He changed my treatment plan, fit me in some canceled appointments and had them all out within a week. He removed them safely using best practices including mouth dam, separate air supply and metal binders. I suffered no ill effects afterward and am now chelating massive amounts of mercury and lead out of my system using the Cutler protocol. Tests show my mercury excretion is 80x the amount it takes to qualify as poisoned. I am also stripping the fluoride out of my calcified glands using Boron. Now I look forward to the rest of Dr. Sambataro’s remedial work using nontoxic crowns and fillings. So good luck saving a couple bucks at another dentist as one retard reviewer suggests. You’ll need it when you develop early-onset dementia and your kids are too messed up to take care of you. Do yourself a favor and bring your family to the Julian Center. You are lucky that they are here. And YES the staff is wonderful.

The Julian Center is probably the best dental practice in the country. There is a huge correlation between the health of the mouth and the health of the body that most people arent aware of and this includes many dentists in practice today. Unfortunately, Ive learned the hard way that we must be extremely careful who we allow to work on our teeth because dentists that have gone through only conventional training do not learn these things. It takes years of outside education to get the knowledge that Dr Sambataro and his staff have. When I first met Dr Sambataro I was very sick. I had a very large cancerous tumor in my breast. Fortunately for me, my medical doctor (hes not your typical MD either) recognized there was likely a connection to a root canaled tooth near the breast meridian and the tumor in my breast. Dr Sambataro removed that tooth and also discovered a jaw bone infection next to that tooth from a previously incorrectly extracted tooth. Removing the root canal and cleaning out the jaw bone infection was a huge factor in me being able to regain my health. Im so grateful to have found Dr Sambataro and his team. If youre dealing with a health crisis or want to prevent one from occurring in the first place, this hands down the best dental practice to go to. They truly are the best there is.

Outrageously expensive without delivering an equally superlative experience. I went to Dr Sambataro originally because of the good reviews. I am disabled by chemical sensitivities and myalgic encephalomyelitis, and my budget is tight to throttling. I went to get a broken crown replaced. After all the testing for materials sensitivity (at a premium additional price), I still had a terrible reaction to the temporary crown. I used a part of a small inheritance to pay the exorbitant bill and was glad to have a durable zirconium crown in the end.When it fell out a couple of years later, I called them, thinking that surely they would provide swift service for free or at a discount, since the crown should have lasted and I am a person in straitened circumstances. However, I was told in no uncertain terms that I would have to pay the several hundreds of dollars for the introductory visit once again (since I hadnt been coming to see him for cleanings and such - because he is too expensive!!) plus several hundreds more to have the crown re-installed. The fact that a crown falling out after only a couple years means there was a mistake on Dr Sambataros part - totally inconsequential to his office. Pay up or he wont see you.When I had the crown re-installed at another office, I discovered that Dr Sambataro had broken off the post of the original tooth when he was removing the broken crown, and thats why the new crown was going to have ongoing problems adhering for decades like other crowns have.And this is only one of the issues I have had with Dr Sambataro.Since there was no satisfaction at his office, I am taking this issue to the court of public opinion.

I am very greatful that I found The Julian Center. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing, and they are very professional. I had an abscessed tooth removed, and a new upper particle made. The only draw back is that I live in Pennsylvania, and have a distance to drive to and from their office, but I highly recommend The Julian Center for anyone who is looking for alternative dentistry. They care about your health and wellbeing.
