I love this practice! Dr. Ford and Dr. Becker are both fantastic and I feel like family when I visit! My preferred hygienist Alicia is funny and eminently competent! (Though I’ve had a good experience with each of the hygienists I’ve had)

Walking into Ellicott Mills Dental was like a homecoming of sorts. Greeted with warm welcomes and I returned to this practice and have continued to do so because of Dr. Becker. I have tremendous respect for he and the practice he built here. He no longer owns the practice as I understand it, but it appears after my first time there, that they have not skipped a beat. I could ramble on about all of the wonderful ways I have been treated over the years, but I will simply say, you cant be in better hands and their hands know what they are doing when it comes to teeth. You wont find a better practice!

My first experience in this office was extremely positive. The exam and evaluation were very detailed and thorough. Dr. Fosters manner was kind and gentle. I left there feeling that I had a comprehensive plan for my future dental work and with a great deal of confidence in the doctor.

Dr. Becker and his entire staff are organized, friendly, professional, and honest! I had the best cleaning ever from dental hygienist Alicia, and from previous visit! They’re honest and will tell you what your dental condition truly needed, whereas other dental business trumped up dental problems to over charged me for services that my son and I didn’t need.

I dread going to the dentist. I procrastinate. Then, for various reasons, like not having dental insurance, taking care of children and putting myself last, working 2-3 jobs for 6-7 days a week to pay for college, and just falling out of the habit for so long, I did not go. We got decent insurance, and I took my opportunity to go. This was the most thorough exam I have ever had. Everything was explained clearly. Dr Ford and the hygienist were gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am so impressed. When my daughter gets back from college for her next break, I am taking her there.

I was so glad when I found out that this practice accepted my new insurance (through my employer)! Id seen Dr. Ford previously and had been wowed by the service she and the rest of the staff provide. Needless to say, I was eager to come back--especially since I have a lot of work to be done!The office is very clean and feels homey. I always feel so comfortable when Im there. This is also quite possibly the most high-tech dental office Ive ever been seen in. Recently, I went in for a crown, and Dr. Ford used a wand to take 3D images of my teeth to send to the lab that was making the permanent crown--none of that sit and wait for the impressions to come out just right nonsense.I really have to give serious praise to Dr. Ford and all of the hygienists and assistants who work with her, though. Im one of those patients who always needs to know whats going on (Im just curious!), and everyone there is always so patient and happy to explain the process and procedure to me. No one seems to mind my constant huh?s when theyre working in my mouth.I feel very safe and very well cared for at this office, and its all thanks to the professionalism, kindness, and respect that the staff shows me at each visit. Important to me, these doctors do not burden their patients with unnecessary offers. Exceptional. From the minute I walked in the door until the minute I left the office I felt like a valued person more than just another patient. The office staff is very warm and super friendly and ready to help with any questions regarding paperwork or insurance. I received a thorough exam, complete with a full battery of x-rays from a very skilled assistant, and Dr. Becker walked me through every step of the exam process. The best part? His explainations were genuine and not condescending. How refreshing! When I left I had recommendations for future work and again, the front office staff was able to help me with cost with my insurance benefits. Seriously, what an extraordinary practice. I have been going to Elliott Mills Dental formerly, (Smiles by Becker) about 5 yrs. This was a recommendation from a co-worker. I love there is little to no wait time to be seen after arrive.Dr. Ford is one of the best dentist I have had. I went in for a filling and she was done within 15mins. I was all worked up thinking it was going to hurt. I felt no pain and was not uncomfortable doing the procedure. Dr Ford is very friendly, takes her time with you before and after procedures and answers any questions you have. I highly recommend Elliott Mills Dental.

I wish my insurance was accepted here! Although, my visit was worth paying out of pocket. I called because I couldn’t get into my usual dentist and I felt like I had an infection and I was in SO much pain. The front desk (I believe it was Audrey I spoke too?) was super friendly and made it clear that it was a priority to get me in quickly and help figure out the problem and treat me for the pain. They got me in by the end of the day. When I arrived the staff was quick to greet me and they were friendly, quick and efficient. The office was very cute & clean. Dr Ford was great and figured out the problem quickly along with a solution. I was in and out fo the office within 30 minutes!

Once again an excellent dental cleaning by Elena. Elena is very gentle and works quickly so that the patient is not uncomfortable. Very attentive to details.

Being a returning patient, the receptionist checked me in right as I walked in. I was called in for my cleaning about 5 minutes after arriving, which was very good. Bite wings were taken by the hygienist and she was very careful with placing the x-ray films so that there was as little discomfort as possible. The cleaning was done quickly and thoroughly. Dr. Ford did a follow-up about 5 minutes later. I was please with the service that I received, from the moment I walked into the dental office right up to the time that I left.

I will start this review by saying...I hate going to the dentist. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst way to spend an hour, I am a 12. However, Dr. Ford and Ellicott Mills Dental are infinitely professional and easy going. They aren’t pushy or aggressive...they are/were great. If you are like me, CHECK THEM OUT... the whole staff is great.

I have been seeing Dr Ford for several years. Recently I had implants put in (not in their office) and the Dr who placed the implants left me with a large space next to the existing tooth. When I went back to Dr Ford to have the teeth put in she was able to have a bridge made to fill the space. She is an outstanding dentist.

I have a unique situation and my teeth need special attention. I get that special attention at Smiles By Becker. The customer service and professionalism is refreshing each visit. I am impressed with Dr. Fords kindness and patience when I learned the bad news about my two teeth. It was hard for me to hear that the previous Dr. Navai, didnt do the right work on my crown and this affects the future implant crown. The bad crown needs to be redone.I thank Dr. Ford for taking the time to go over the X-rays in detail and explaining the problem, answering all my questions and giving out a good recovery plan. This helped me feel relief after the bad news.

What a wonderful office! My memories of bad experiences at the dentist always made me nervous to go back. Smiles by Becker is the definition of an outstanding practice. I was well overdue for a cleaning and had quite a few cavities to tackle. Dr. Becker and Dr. Ford created a plan for me and I am happy to say I’m cavity free with my wisdom teeth removed as well. The process couldn’t have been easier and I experienced no pain whatsoever! I was so nervous going into my first appointment - I had gotten behind in my cleanings and I had a loose filling. The ENTIRE staff was so warm and attentive, I truly love the environment. I had the best cleaning of my life and the filling fix was an absolute snap.
