I called for a heat pump that was drenched in water every time it ran. They worked around my schedule and I got a tech out when I was home. He was professional and respectful of my property. He quickly diagnosed a clogged condensate drain and a clogged drain pipe to the external of the building. He cleaned everything out, blasted her with some nitrogen, and got me back up in running in far less than an hour.Great company, great service, thanks again.

Everything was right about this appointment! The technician, Danielle and her co-technician showed up exactly on time. They were wearing masks and maintained a socially-acceptable distance from me. They were both extremely polite, and donned plastic booties before they entered my house. They were quick to diagnose the problem, and checked the manufacturer’s specifications and notes before finalizing their analysis. I’m an inquisitive guy, and they happily and thoroughly answered all of my questions. In addition, they left telling me that they were going to check to see if my unit was still under warranty, and would get back to me within a few days. Super quick turn around and extremely knowledgeable! The turn around from my first call to the service was approximately 24 hours, which is unheard of for most service companies on a non-emergency call. Danielle was my service tech and she knew her stuff. I had a full system inspection and she was very thorough and walked me through everything she was doing. She caught that the capacitors on my compressors were not working properly. This catch potentially saved me a complete system failure during some of the hottest days we’ve had in awhile. Better yet, she was able to replace them on the spot.I would recommend Buric to anyone. I’ve had other services in the past that were cheaper, but weren’t so prompt or thorough. Buric is a model business and you get a ton a value from what you spend with them!

Our AC unit failed in the middle of the night on Saturday Night. Called at 0900 Sunday morning. Danielle was at our house at 1000, as scheduled, and had the system fixed in a few minutes. She was thorough and professional and explained everything well. I liked that they didn’t charge an extra fee to come out on a Sunday and prices were reasonable.

Needed to replace my water heater. Nick, the owner, came out himself and went over the different options I had and pros and cons of each. When I decided the option I was going to go with, they were able to get everything done that same week. He and his team are very professional, had reasonable prices and did great work. Had Buric out a month ago to look at my heat pump. the board was fried. my options were to replace the board or the unit. i paid the $99 fee for them to come out plus a $200 deposit. because of the expense involved i had to put of the repairs. when i asked for my deposit back they stopped returning my calls. now they say that they are keeping my deposit as a diagnostic fee. these folks are criminals. beware.

They have never performed work for me. My review is for a lack of responsiveness/professionalism. I called about a month ago to have my HVAC inspected/tuned up, as my home inspection pointed out there were possible concerns. They made/confirmed the appointment. They cancelled the afternoon before the appointment, stating they had to address a number of customers whose HVAC was failing. I agreed to reschedule the appointment and i never heard back from them. Fast forward to yesterday - I called a bunch of HVACs in the area for an emergency appointment, as my unit wasn’t working. That was over 24 hours ago and I still didn’t hear back from them. It has since been repaired by a responsive HVAC company (Climate Pro Mechanical, LLC). I won’t beg someone to take my money. Again, they never performed work for me - review is based solely on their lack of response.

The heating system in my house stopped working and the indoor temperature dropped to the 50s. I called Buric Saturday morning for emergency repair service and Nick (the owner of Buric) was at my house within the hour. 30 minutes later, he had my heating system running again and gave me a comprehensive explanation as to what went wrong and what the fix was. My AC died and it was close to 20 years old so I wanted the whole unit replaced. I have 4 young kids so no AC in the summer was not a pleasant option. I have been using Buric Heating and Air Conditioning for about 2 years. My AC had a leak somewhere in the past two years. The technician asked if we want to see adding sealant would fix the problem for a couple of years. He made clear that there was only a 50% chance that it might work. We tried that, and it lasted only two weeks, but fortunately, that were the last two weeks that we needed the AC for the year.Then we started to shop for a new AC system. Since our furnace was working, so we decided we would have the work done in Spring. We did quite a bit of research and call in 3 additional companies for estimates. At the end, we chose to go with Buric because their bid was very reasonable (not the cheapest, and definitely not the highest) and we have been working with them for two years. They also offered very good payment plans, though we didnt use them.Nick Jr. and Danielle were very patient and understanding in providing us with several rounds of estimates since we changed our minds a couple of times in terms of the scope of work we wanted to be done. The correspondence was always courteous, and they never try to upsell us anything.The service appointment was set on 3/1, and the team of technicians arrived promptly within the stated time window. They all wore PPE and shoe covers when they came inside the house. They were very efficient and finished replacing the whole system (AC and heating) in about 7 hours. They showed me what was done and how to use the new thermostat. All the work areas were cleaned very well (probably even better than before). The next day they send me a follow-up email to make sure everything was working fine.So far, the new furnace has been keeping us warm, and we are looking forward to trying out the AC unit in the summer. First of all, before calling to a technician, try to fix it yourself. 80% of ac problems is due to a bad capacitor. Google it online and you can get exact instructions on how to install a capacitor in 5 minutes.I am not sure why this vendor gets a high rating. They are the most expensive service you can get and they don’t give you no upfront cost even though you told them it is a bad capacitor. In the end a 20$ capacitor would cost you 400$.

Nick and his crew were meticulous, timely and pleasant. We would rate them superior in overall performance. Our new heating and air conditioning was installed without a hitch. They installed quality equipment and there was a substantial price difference compared to other estimates, all for the same work.

Our AC went out and needed replacement during this high heat period we have been having. (July) since we needed a brand new system for our home I took the time to get a few quotes. Nick was the third and he was able to replace our unit (within two days) at a reasonable fee. He is efficient, knowledgable and didnt overcharge. We are happy with the unit and his service. I would recommend calling him.

Very disappointed with a blatant rip-off after years of good service. We scheduled a routine A/C maintenance check for May 18 on our two units (one attic, one basement). On the phone, we were quoted a price of $179, which is consistent with the prices we have paid for similar maintenance from Buric for the past 10 years. We were informed that the company was now under new management and that they were pushing all of their customers to yearly maintenance contracts. We politely declined the offer.When the service tech showed up on the scheduled day he told us the work would take about 30 minutes. He then asked how many units we had and immediately began a hard sell to sign up for the yearly contract. He also stated that the $179 price that we were quoted over the phone was only good for one unit and not the two. Therefore, we would owe $358 for the two units, despite the fact that we were directly quoted the lower price and had paid that price for years. He then proceeded to tell us that they need to make money and that they can barely afford to send the truck out at $179 per unit. He also stated that they are under new management and that the pricing and business has changed. He also claimed that we would be lucky to find anyone to do the work for less. At that point, we were fed up with the dishonest bait and switch and cancelled the work.He basically refused to honor the quote which clearly showed up on his system and expected us to pay $358 for 30 minutes of work. I ended up scheduling the same maintenance with BGE Home for $100. Not sure what is going on but apparently the new management is trying to gouge people, not honoring quotes and acting very unprofessionally! So disappointed since we have been very satisfied in the past.

We reached out to a number of local HVAC companies to have an attic unit completely re-installed due to poor initial installation. Some companies never replied, some replied days later, and some quoted us prices that were not reasonable. Then we found Buric... Nick (the owner) came out quickly, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and fit us in the schedule the next day, when most companies were scheduling 5+ days out. The crew of 3 (Nick, Tom, George) showed up promptly at 7:30AM and were amazing. They made sure to use drop clothes everywhere inside our home and cleaned up thoroughly on job completion. Everyone was professional, polite, and skilled, and the installation quality was top-notch. I couldnt have asked for a better experience and am happy to have found our go-to HVAC company going forward, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.

I called Buric Heating and Air Conditioning early in the morning recently to request service about my furnace and thermostat. The staff who took my call was very pleasant and said she would relay my request to Nick who would respond quickly. He did and fit me into his schedule at the end of the day.Nick checked furnace and apart from tightening some screws said nothing was wrong. However, my thermostat was a museum piece and was 6 degrees off and behaved erratically. He installed a new 21st century model and furnace and thermostat are now running smoothly and I believe much more efficiently. I am waiting for the gas bill to see difference in usage.I would certainly heartily recommend Buric Heating and Air Conditioning.

We just cant say enough about our positive experience and service. To start , we didnt know to the extent on how bad our HVAC unit was, until the technician Bill arrived. Our home was not getting cool and we were facing a stretch of very hot days. After diagnoses and provided with options, we knew that we needed to replace our unit. We contacted the office and spoke with Debbie. I spoke with Debbie on a Thursday 6/28/18 and she scheduled us for the following week on Tuesday. We were fine with that, but after I asked her if Buric provided complimentary air conditioner until that date, because of the hot weather and that I had two elderly parents in the home. One 93 and one 86. Debbie, immediately put me on hold and then came back and said, we got you scheduled for Saturday, because of Burics concerns for the elderly in the home. This is the kind of character of a business, you want to serve you. I was scheduled for 8am and the Buric Team arrived at 7:15am and began work immediately on one of the hottest days of the year. The Buric Team did an outstanding job! They cared about our well being and displayed very good professionalism from the beginning phone call to completion of service, as well as displaying their good business INTEGRITY. They were the only company to come out on short notice when my HVAC system went up. Very happy with the service that John Wigginton provided when he stopped by and did his maintenance check. Ended up needing a whole new unit and John and the Buric team were awesome at getting me all set up as quickly as possible.

Buric replaced our gas furnace efficiently and almost unbelievably quickly. Within days after I accepted their estimate, the job was done.

It was the dead of winter. I had just adopted a beautiful 2-year-old Shih Tzu named Frankie from a shelter down the street. I couldnt wait to welcome little Frankie into my life with warmth and love. Unfortunately, when my new family member set paw in my house for the first time, he was welcomed not by the warm embrace of a loving home, but instead by a cold that bit harder than any dog. After some investigation, I came to the conclusion that my heater was the source of the problem. I immediately called Burics Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. They fixed both my heater and my blossoming relationship with Frankie. As long as there are honest, reliable, and mustache-bearing men like the Burics in this world, I know both I and the creatures I love will remain warm in the coldest of times.

When we moved to our home in 2013 it came with an HVAC system that was already at the end of its life cycle. We tolerated the fact that the system may not last any longer, and then a few weeks ago this April 2016, the system finally gave, we had multiple companies come out and say that the system needed to be replaced and the search began.We heard about Nick and past reviews and when he came out to the house, we asked him to give us a proposal for different systems, we ended up going with the best in the line Carrier system. We already had a few quotes and when he showed us his against the competition with the same system we were left speechless his price beat them by a long shot and Nick came in with the price that we were hoping for.Nick and his team (Gary and Tom) where amazing and extremely considerate because we have a few aquariums in the work area where they needed to be, they were meticulous in how the job was going to be done from start to finish. They arrived on 4/11 and installed the furnace function of the unit to ensure we at least had heating for the night. On 4/12 they installed the AC unit and that finished the project. We are greatful to have had Nick and his team work on this project and we look forward to working with him in the future to make other additions to the unit, as well as maintenence.We highly recommend him and his team, you will not be disappointed. Nick was a great listener and he listened to our needs and made sure that everything was completed, and when they were done it was as if they were never there. Nick and the team did an incredible job, now we have a system that we can control from anywhere in the home and outside the home, as well as, control our humidity levels. The positive is that he was on time, polite and fixed the problem. The negative is that he was there for less than 40 minutes, needed no parts and charged over $300 with no heads up that it would be that costly.
