For 20 years Greenfox has been our go to for all heating and ac services...services included were conversion of heat pump to a gas heating system, replacement of ac, and maintenance. We got a second AC system installed for our second floor. They showed up with about ten people bright and early and got to work immediately in the attic, outside for the evap, and at the circuit breaker. They exceeded my expectations. They installed and brought online the entire system by the end of the day including new ducting and vents. All new wiring was able to be installed externally with the copper piping; the entire assembly was tastefully covered with a PVC enclosure. They also stayed late to make sure our WiFi thermostat worked. The price was exactly what was quoted before the job. Greenfox did very well.

Heat Pump Replacement in Columbia, MD 21046September 8, 2021“My Heat Pump failed in the middle of the worst heat wave in recent years with temperatures soaring in the 90 degrees. When my heat pump failed and a repair was only followed by another breakdown that led to indoor temperatures up to 90 degrees, Greenfox came to rescue and intalled a new heat pump and air handler. What is remarkable is that the breakdown of my old unit occurred on a Friday before the Labor Day Weekend. Rather than wait until Tuesday of the next week to come and install the new unilt, members of the Greenfox team (Bruce, Hamon, and Henry) volunteered to come in on the weekend to perform the installation of a new Heat Pump and Air handler. I found them to not only be highly professional, but also highly trained and very knowlegable of the technical aspects of HVAC Systems. The HVAC install has run perfectly with a level of comfort my family and I have not experienced in a long time. Very good quality work. Workers were at my home 8:30 am and out by 7:00 pm. They installed a brand new Goodman HVAC system in my attic.It was pretty complicated to install the system in that space and create a flex ducts systems but technicians were very competent to complete the project in one day. Mr.Ali brought 7-8 crew members to finish whole project in one day.We are really happy with his service and would recommend to anyone.

There is not another company I would use for anything HVAC related. All American Mechanical is trustworthy, fast to respond, and always fair priced. Our heat pump stopped working with temperatures in the low to mid 90’s and decided to get a new heat pump including a handler. The estimate was a lot cheaper than other estimates we received from their competitors and Yaser squeezed us in first thing the next morning after agreeing to the estimate. The crew that installed the new heat pump system did a great job and were very professional. I highly recommend All American.

Very reliable and fair. I have used All American Mechanical twice in last few years. They keep you informed with their arrival time. They explained to me this time in advance that the old style freon are little expensive than the new kind used in newer AC unit. They filled the freon and checked my units inside the house , answered my questions on how to keep house cool. I will strongly recommend them if you want qualified HVAC technicians. Forgot to mention they recommended some solutions on the phone to resolve the issue without them coming to my house to save me trouble and cost, unfortunately which did not work for me permanently so i had to ask them to come and take a look the unit.

I have issue with airflow upstairs, I called 2 different companies from online. They come and can not find out what is wrong, but diagnosis wrong and asked me for change something wrong parts which have no impact on my issue.This company did excellent job to find out issue and fix with very very low cost.

My air conditioning went out yesterday. It was the Fourth of July! I couldn’t believe. Mr. Hussein, the owner, came to my home personally and repaired the unit. All American Mechanical is my go to source for HVAC maintenance professionals in Maryland. They have helped me with my houses in both Howard and Montgomery Counties. What I like about them is that they are always professional, honest, and up front. They have always identified the problem the first time and have provided cost effective solutions without doing more than what is necessary to have my system working well. I have used other HVAC maintenance folks in the past, but more and more I come back to these folks if they are available for their stellar service quality. I cant recommend them highly enough.

All American Mechanical is a very professional firm. I used them three times at three different properties on big jobs, and once on a small repair job. They are very honest, extremely high integrity, and very professional, know their stuff; and amazingly always the lowest cost. They installed two units (two zones) in a relatively large property (3000 sq ft) along with all the duct work, vents and return air and thermostats and did an excellent job. Years later I called them for a fully new job in another property (1400 sq ft) and it was a breeze, most recently they replaced the cooling unit after my 20 year old unit gave way. I have three quotes from two other vendors (a large wholesale warehouse and well known utility company appliance division) and All American Mechanical, they not only came out to be the lowest cost, but also the quickest to install. The unit they recommended was out of stock because of COVID, and they did not delay, instead they installed a larger unit at no additional cost as we were in the middle of July and the temperatures were in the upper 90s every day with high humidity. If you have HVAC needs, give them a call with no hesitation.

Out standing!I had issue with two of my AC units, i call All American and they were able to schedule an appointment to run test and troubleshooting, they diagnosed the problem and checked if the units were still under warranty and repair the units with replacements parts (under warranty) and they charge me reasonable labor fee. I will be using All American service again and I highly recommend this company.

We needed to have our lower level air-conditioning unit and furnace replaced about a month ago. We were happy to see that All American Mechanical, the company we had used 20 years ago in our townhouse, was still around. I had All American Mechanical replace my old HVAC system today. The owner also came to ensure all the work was successfully completed. The team that came were very knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and professional. They did an excellent job in which I am very pleased and would recommend them to family and friends.

Called to have my outdoor A/C unit checked because it was short-cycling. They were timely and polite, but couldve been a lot more professional in my view.The tech simply placed his hand on the indoor air handler before saying that I needed a new expansion valve. No tools, no visual inspection of the actual valve. Just looked like a guess. When I asked for an explanation, I was told it was a complex mechanism. Thats all I got.The quote was $500+ assuming that the part would be covered under warranty and assuming his guess was accurate that I wouldnt need more service afterward.When I said Id like to get a second opinion, I was blindsided with a $95 bill for the visit. The owner of the company spoke with me over the phone to schedule the visit the day before. He had ample opportunity to notify me of this charge and never did.UPDATE - Its the following day, I had another company come out. They fixed the problem in 30 minutes. No new parts. I had too many air vents closed given the size of my A/C unit. They added some freon to the unit too. Short cycling is no more. Under $100.

I really appreciated the responsiveness of the owner, Mr. Ali, who is a Professional Engineer, who came out Sunday morning (after I called Saturday afternoon) to fix a problem with our old air conditioning system. They were also the least expensive of several major companies in the area on quotes to replace a heat pump/AC.Here is it June 2021 and we just had a new A/C and furnace installed. All American was the most responsive of a number of companies we called and was able to quickly diagnose the issue in our 25 year old unit. We were relieved they could complete the install just a few days after we accepted their proposal. I admire the workmanship in some of the little details of the install. We hope this new Trane will last as long as the original!

We have dealt with several HVAC companies over the years. When we needed to replace our AC unit, we collected multiple estimates. All American Mechanical responded extremely quickly and provided a written price quote that easily beat the competitors. Work was completed extremely quickly and without any problems. Very straightforward, honest, and conscientious. Our energy bills have been greatly reduced! I highly recommend and will definitely contact in the future.

The crew were efficient, courteous and clean in replacing the heat pump and the attic air handler. It was a challenge to get the air handler in the attic, but they did what they had to do to get the big unit in the attic, but kept everything clean by covering the floors and cleaning up afterwards. Will use them again when the basement unit eventually fails.

This was a complex job replacing oil heat and ac by all electric heat pump and moving the outside unit to a different spot. They came to our house twice. The first technician was 2 hours late, very rude and not knowledgeable. Our HVAC would not even turn on for 5 days during a 90+ degree weather week. He didnt listen to anything I had to say, and would not speak to me directly, rather he would only speak to my husband on the phone. He could not diagnose the problem and told me to see how it acted for the next few days. The second time they came to the house, it was another gentleman who was 1.5 hours late. At least he examined the unit but only relied on a meter to do any form of assessment. Our unit continues to malfunction and he had no knowledge as to why or any idea of what to do to improve the situation. Further, as our unit is covered under a home warranty he made it clear that he assumed the warranty company would not pay him or authorize replacement so he wasnt going to bother. We found them not to be very knowledgeable or reliable.

I used this company for my homes air conditioner repair for last few years, and I really like their service. They were very friendly and reasonably priced.I recently installed a new system thru them, and they installed the new system right next day. I was really impressed by that. I met Hussain (the owner) 17 years ago when he installed a Trane SEER-12 Heat Pump at my house. They responded fast, worked hard and installed the system with new lines and wires. This system eventually died a week ago and so I called him again. They installed a Trane SEER-14 Heat Pump within a few days of my call. He has honest and excellent pricing (far better than the competition), fast and punctual installation. I highly recommend his company.

Back in August 2017 when my AC failed, I started shopping for replacement. The big name dealers like BGEHome and Horizon prices were steep. I had a TRANE unit so I visited their website to find a dealer in the area. I found AAM and gave them a call. I talked to Mr. Ali, who visited my home and sent me a quote for two different suitable units for my home fairly quickly which none of the other dealers did - professionalism? His quote was good or even better considering the reviews I read. Since my furnace was still working and it was already cooler, I put off the service until winter was over, so that I could get full life of my heating unit. End of March 2018, I reached out Mr. Ali again and completed the service. His workers arrived on time, completed the job and had everything up and running. I was not home during the installation but my wife was. She considered the workers to be friendly and helpful. She was happy. How could I not? :)

The owner himself picked up the initial call – he was very flexible to drop by and access the situation – old HVAC unit not performing well in hot summer. I would recommend All American Mechanical. Mr. Ali was very nice, professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem, ice on the evaporator coil and low refrigerant pressure.

Poor service and very high rates in compare to others. was asked to perform service on evaporator coils and other minor issue(just fuse). Hussain just change fuse and dint do other service and charged me $70 dollars just changing fuse.... i felt really bad about that..careful about this crap
