Service was good. There was a warning light that came on within a couple miles of leaving. I took it back and they found another car right away. It had an awful odor in it and I knew I wasnt going to have the car very long otherwise I would have returned it. I would like it if they would give a break for those of us who end up only needing a vehicle for a few hours. Or gave a Senior discount if we are using them because our vehicle is in one of the local dealerships for repair. The costs have gone WAY UP for one days use. I guess I look at it another way, they now have two vehicles to rent back out in the same day, now. Why isnt there a break for those of us who used it for our repair on our own vehicles, IF WE return it within a few hours?

This is the worst Enterprise location I have used. I picked up a car that smelled fresh and clean because it just came out of detailing, however as the day went on this fresh scent faded and all that was left was the strong smell of marijuana. I called them the next morning and spoke with Nate who offered no apology and his only solution was to return the car while explaining I might have to wait 90-120 minutes to get a new rental. Since I am not a smoker, and the worry of being pulled over by police with a car that smelled I decided to return it. I arrived at the location and was told there is not a person by the name of Nate who works there but they would try to find a replacement for me ASAP. There was also another customer there returning his SUV as it also smelled strongly of marijuana. Daisha was able to get me a replacement car in less than 15 minutes which I really appreciated. When I returned this second rental there was only 1 other customer there and 6-8 employees inside standing around with only 1 poor employee outside processing returns. The single other customer ahead of me was returning his rental because the brakes were metal on metal and the vehicle was not safe to drive. It took me about 45 minutes to get my rental returned while all the other employees were inside doing nothing. Daisha was the sole bright spot in this experience. I asked why they rented out a vehicle that smelled so bad and did not receive a solid answer other than they would need to detail it more. I use Enterprise for all my rental vehicles and this location is a terrible reflection on the company as a whole. Not sure why you are issuing rentals that are unfit to be driven (worn brakes) or could place your customers in a precarious legal situation (marijuana smell).

My insurance AAA recommended enterprise but Never going to make that choice again. The wait time is frustrating, had a flat tire over the weekend on a sunday & most tire shops are closed so i had to do it myself. Next time going with hertz

Stood in line for 45 minutes while the manager talked casually on the phone and never once acknowledged me. After telling me two cars needed an oil change, I was given a car with tags that expired 2 months ago. I did not realize this until the next day but did not have time to return the car and risk waiting 45 minutes for a replacement. I was worried that being a veteran and a person of color what would happen to me if I was pulled over with out of state expired license plates. Thankfully nothing happened and I notified them upon return about putting my life at risk......no one cared. Of course they did not understand my position. The stop at this location is pretty decent but sometimes the cars or either dirty or smell bad. This time the car smells really bad. It was fine after I picked it up but after sitting in the hot Sun all day it reeks of tobacco or some other kind of smoke. Needless to say I should not have to go through this I have a chronic allergy and this is setting my sinuses off

This Enterprise Rent a Car location has it all. Not only can you rent a car, you can buy a used car here. This is a new facility with a comfortable lobby area. They have a wide selection of used cars to select from. Great customer service too. I give this Enterprise Rent a Car a thumbs-up.

Worst place to rent a car from. Made a reservation for April 23 at 5 pm to pickup the car and clearly told them that we don’t want a minivan, it should be a SUV and they told us it can be either a Tahoe or suburban. Went there for pickup and there was their manager upon telling her about the reservation she told us that we have to wait till 5:30 pm as someone’s gonna return a Tahoe if not then we can take a suburban as it was parked outside and we were fine with that. Then comes this lady saying that the manager didn’t knew about that suburban was booked by someone else and we asked that if they have any other suv similar to suburban bcoz we asked for a Tahoe, She told us that we cannot ask for any particular car as per the company’s policy, then how was that Suburban was booked for someone else. After waiting there for half an hour we were told that we can take the minivan as they didn’t have any other car to which we had clearly said no while making the reservation. Ended up leaving without the car and using our own for the tour.

Good experience! Initially, there was a slight wait when picking up the vehicle. But a 2nd agent came to support and expedited the process. My car was ready and the pick process was good and hassle free. I enjoyed the vehicle, it was clean and performed well. The return process was easy and quick as well.I didnt give them 5 stars because I felt that the 2 day rental was priced on the higher end of typical rental car costs.But other than that, the service was good!

This location was not the best. The website listed: 8420 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758, US as the pick up and drop off location. I took an Uber to the listed address only to find a sign that they had moved to 9700 West Stockton Blvd. A 23 minute walk and a wait in this line in tbe picture are certainly not worth the hassle.

Very good check out and check in service. Excellent van with 2,000 miles. They did not have the van we wanted cleaned and available but once they knew we wanted a particular vehicle they found one, cleaned/washed it and got it ready.

I went here on a Saturday with my mom getting a rental and the service is horrible. We were waiting to get a rental car for an hour because they didnt have enough people or workers working that day. The guy inside checking us in for wanting to get a rental said that we are for sure getting a van but then an hour later, the manager told us that were getting a Ram Dodge truck. The other worker, who was a woman, was working her tail off getting all the rental cars checked in from the people who are turning them in that day. There was also a lady behind us in line when we were checking in wanted to speak to the manager because they charged her $400 for 4 hours to rent a car.

This location is extremely busy and for whatever reason only had 1 employee taking people to their cars and 1 employee checking in returned cars, and 1 inside checking customers in. They need more employees at this location I was there over an hour to get a car. The employees are incredibly nice but i felt bad for them.

Very unprofessional!! First I go to turn it in and the lady was like it doesn’t look like the car lot is gone pay for the rental. Then she went inside and came back out and the lady got in took the mileage and did the walk around said everything was fine and told me I would be getting a credit of $50. Then I get across the street at the dealership and they car the enterprise and the lady said that there was ashes and smoke in the car. However I don’t smoke I’m highly Allergic to smoke and I had my 8yr in the car. And to top it off I sprayed the car with a sanitizer spray (Clorox) when we all got out of the car and the rep complemented the smell. I will not use this company again and I will tell all of my friends and family not to use. They gave me the car with less then a half of tank then told me to bring it back on full.

My experience this time was not the best. I booked a reservation for 5:30p at a branch and was running a little late. I contacted the branch letting them know i would be there around 5:45p. The representative , Shane, that I spoke with told me they close at 5:30p and that I would have to come back in the morning. I didn’t understand because I made a reservation to pick up at 5:30p on the website.After calling and pleading and going up to the branch, I was still told they could not help me until the next day and I arrived there at 5:45p. I needed the car that night, so I made Another reservation at the sac airport, And once I was there I was told I couldn’t reserve because of the type of card I was using or because I didn’t have an itinerary flying out or in Sacramento. After being told over the phone that I can reserve with a debit card there being a $200 deposit and the representative did not say we could not book through the airport if we weren’t flying in or out. Overall it was a horrible experience.

Service has not been bad. I was concerned a little with tire wear on one vehicle. My biggest issue with this location is the unavailability of after hours drop off. I have gone to the Sacramento Downtown location on my last few rentals due to Elk Grove Enterprise not having after hours drop off. Most of my travel requiring rentals has me returning on Sundays, hence the importance of after hours returns. It is beyond me as to why Elk Grove cannot offer this service. Even if I return on a Saturday, it would require me to drop off by 12 noon. If not, it would require me to rent for a extra day or two (Unacceptable!). Who returns that early on a weekend from a trip?! Unfortunately for you, I have decided to utilize the Downtown location for all of my business, despite the inconvenience.

I rented a large SUV (Franklin Blvd location in Sacramento) and last minute -as I was on my way to pick it up- was called to be told, very nonchalantly I might add, that it was no longer available, no apologizes and no explanations. I quickly hopped online and reserved one for the Elk Grove location for $75 more a day! So due to their inside error I went from a $200 for 2 day rental to $350 for no fault of my own. I was desperate for a vehicle and had no choice so I booked it. Upon checking out I asked the representative to ask a manager to match the price of the other location since it was an Enterprise location, and they due to THEM canceling it made my pre-trip super inconvenient. I was shocked when they said no. Still am actually. Was asking for a discount simply to be matched for having my reservation canceled. I’m sure anyone would agree that would have been more than fair. I’m a member with Enterprise and that was disappointing. If Enterprise is reading this never too late to make things right.

6/18/20--- Was the date of my HERTZ rental pick up, had a TERRIBLE experience with them, & my Dad suggested to come here & we did just that. Left the HERTZ (right next to the chevron on E.G blvd) & came straight to this location. For starters, this is a very big, very nice location! It was pretty busy upon our arrival, a few customers ahead of us, but that only told me one thing... this is the place to come! Let me just say, although there were about 3-4 people ahead of us, before I knew it, we were the next to be helped. The Gentleman that helped us (I cant recall his name, BUT I remember I was admiring his colorful band on his apple watch) He was very welcoming, very fast, extremely professional & we had NO reservation & we needed an SUV. He had us completed with everything good to go in less than 15min! I love places like this who know exactly what theyre doing! It makes things so much smoother! Now we know where to bring our business!

Service at the Elk Grove, CA dealer location off of W. Stockton Blvd could be better. I usually rent from the power inn location in Sacramento, and their service is much better there. Elk Grove location seemed unorganized. Had to wait 45 minutes to pickup the car that was already reserved and also wait another 45 minutes during return. The employee checking people in and also the person that did the walk around did not seem to care at all. Will definitely not rent from this location again.

I had reservations for noon.. Had to wait in line for a hour for car. Was told it was because of Corona they had to take precautions making sure the car was clean. Unfortunately after waiting a hour the car was disgusting in the inside.. Didnt realize how bad until I was off driving because I was already running late after the wait.. Enterprise focus on cleaning the germs in the inside instead of being concerned about the outside appearance of the car.. Im a nurse this Corona is real.. Do better disinfecting the inside of your rentals!!

My car needed repairs so the body shop set up my rental car. I had a midsize so I was surprise when they gave me a Mitsubishi Mirage. The car was not washed and the steering wheel was sticky. I had to disinfect it. Two days later, they finally had a Toyota Camry available. As soon as I got it inside...it was like inhaling second hand smoke. It was so bad that I had to use another car when driving with my family. The other choice they offered was a green charger and they were going to charge me more.On another occasion, I rented a minivan which I reserved online. The one they were giving me was dirty and had dog hairs all over. The captain chairs in the middle section had something slimy on the side that was not cleaned up. They had to give me another minivan that was cleaner inside but needed car wash. I waited for the wash and finally got out around 5:30pm. I had the car for a week and returned it at 4:35pm. When they billed me, they entered 4:40pm pick up and 5:14pm drop off and charged me an hour for late fee. I called them to ask them to check their CCTV and see what times I really picked up and dropped off. They said they will reimburse the charges, but Im still waiting. I hope they will give me back the $23.05.

I rented a vehicle from Enterprise on 1/31/20, originally it was to be a full size sedan I arrived much earlier than I said I would and there was only 1 available the was just returned and it needed to be cleaned. I was offered an SUV instead of having to wait around. I really didnt want anything big so I choose a compact SUV. I had forgotten how tired I had grown of having to stoop down to get into sedans. It was a Hyundai Kona which is a smaller SUV yet high enough off the ground for a 6 ft person to step right in. I am glad Enterprise was flexible enough to adjust to me coming in about 2 hours before I said I would. Now I realize the crossover/compact SUV is a vehicle I would rather own more so than a sedan.

Reservered a 4 day rental car thru Elk Grove Enterprise. Initial contact and service was very good. I did not have to wait long for staff and I was treated like I was important. The car was delivered to me in very good condition. Clean inside and out. A staff member was very kind enough to walk and talk with me while doing exterior inspection. It didnt take long for me to complete the E paperwork and be on my way. This was a great experience and I will definitely continue to use their services.

I was forced to use this car company because they work with my car dealer at the Auto Mall. They were very unprofessional throughout the whole process. They arent clear on their contract stipulations and intentionally overcharge you for their products. The practice of this Enterprise Rent a Car was nothing less than predatory. Ill NEVER do business here again. I urge anyone who DOES NOT LIKE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE of, to never give this company a dime.

Every year, my parents rent a car from here to visit my brother. Sometimes, I’m a driver on those contracts too.This year though, suddenly, my ID (state of California ID) isn’t good enough. Now I was asked to provide the following (a list only fully understood as each thing was deemed by Manager Jose -if that’s even his name- as inadequate)My work email address. (Disqualified because it had to be on some physical item to be inspected by Jose)My work ID - which was looked at and handed back.3 personal references (which my mother gave as her, my dad, and my brother- all of whom have the exact same address as I do)And finally, a utility bill. Which, I’m sorry, but I didn’t bring my mail to the car rental office? Do you all do that? Bring 3 forms of ID and 3 personal references to get added on as a driver? Is this new?Enterprise, trust me. I will work hard to avoid you for our work travel, and next year, we will book through another agency. Appreciate the fancy new offices, they look nice. But Jose- I don’t know what his problem is. Thank him for this review, and we won’t see you.

When I called to reserve a car, it was because my car was at the dealer. I would not have chosen this rental company but for the fact that it was quite close to the dealer. The women with whom I spoke to reserve my car was very pleasant and polite. I did not get her name. My rental pick up was harried and disorganized, but I got the car and got on my way. The return experience was a nightmare. Everyone was returning cars, and there was a line out the door. I actually parked my car and dragged all my stuff to the dealer so I could come back later when it might have calmed down a bit. I drove my car back over and just wanted to return my rental. I was first in line, but no one acknowledged my presence. There were some people in line to pick up their cars, so I figured the employees helping them were not able to check cars back in. There were 2 African American males behind me in line. At least 20 minutes passed. One employee said, We will be right with you, but did not make any eye contact. Jill-who I am taking to be the manager---was walking around the lobby. She never acknowledged me. When a middle-aged white man came in to pick up a car, she smiled and went over to him to help him out. Only after she had got him into a car did she return to me. Then, she said, Are you returning? I was very upset by this time and felt pretty low. I told Jill that I just wanted to leave the car since I had to get back to work. Oh! Are you just running behind? That was infuriating. I was not running behind. Your organization was. I will never rent from Enterprise again. There is an AVIS just across the 99. The owner is very kind and respectful of all genders and ethnic groups from what I have witnessed. I will take my business there since you seem to cater to middle-aged white men above others.

The staff are amazing they are all so nice and took the time to find me a car and made the whole process easy. everything was taken care of so smoothly all I had to do was pick up the car I couldnt have had a better experience and I had a really nice car for two weeks too! I was in a vehicle accident, and was expecting my insurance company to cover everything. I specifically told the person that was helping me that I did not need the insurance and I signed what they needed me to sign so that I could leave, due to me leaving to socal for a few days. They did not have a vehicle that was covered so I had to pay an extra five dollars a day, even though I expressed that I needed a vehicle that day to them. When I checked my credit card statements, there was a ridiculous charge on my card over $200!!! The manager stated that the card will not be charged if brought in by a certain time. I did this, still to find out that there was a charge on my card that was not needed. I contacted the headquarters, but still there was zero refund of my money. I wasn’t going to post anything until I noticed the amount had not been returned back to me. Do not sign anything if the person does not tell you what it is. Do not listen to what they say or what the employees say. Once again, do NOT let them add on extra charges. Do not attempt to contact me on this or via cell.

Got a rental covered under warranty while my car was being repaired at Elk Grove Kia... Both Dealer and Enterprise Rent a Car were very helpful. Julianna and the senior advisor/manager Craig both were outstanding in helping me search for a good car as well as looking into all my options to get me in the car i wanted. Rented a vehicle for four days to take my two-year-old to Disneyland. If it wasnt for the condition of the vehicle, I would give the customer service four stars. The issue I had with the vehicle is that immediately upon turning on the AC, a gust of ash hit my face. The car didnt stop smelling like straight up ash tray after that. I couldnt do anything about it because I was far from the rental site by the time I realized how intolerable the smell was. As an asthmatic Im having issues breathing even two days after returning the vehicle. The migraine I got after breathing in the air is unimaginable. Im about one more day from feeling like this from going to the doctors office. I cant even imagine what my son must be feeling but isnt able to verbalize. Other than the horrible experience with the car I got, the customer service was polite. I would have given five stars for costumer service if they gave me a discount for the current rental or perk for a future rental due to the car literally making me and my son sick. Definitely unpleased with how my money was spent on that experience. I work for the state and rent Enterprise frequently, however, after this experience I am now weary to use it for business.

Wish I can be compensated for having to wait for over an hour for a car that I reserved over a month before I had to pick it up The time I waited was very disrespectful and they didnt try to accommodate me in any type of way also I rented for a week and turned the car in early and did not get anything back something has got to give with this whole setup and customer service

Standing in line over an hour in the sun and no one has even said a word to anyone of us. I get they are busy & short staffed but they should acknowledge us.

Enterprise is the BEST car rental ever!!! Every time I am in need of a rental the staff is so courteous, and helpful with my reservations, and everything I needed. I recently rented in my area of Elk Grove, Ca, but everywhere Ive gone their staff has been great. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I rent from the Elk Grove Enterprises Rental Car near the auto mall. They are always fast and friendly. They are always quick to get you in and out and I love that they take the time that if youre not happy with the car that you have they try to get you in exactly what you need.When available of course! I rented a Dodge van for my Daughters birthday celebration August 11th at Enterprise at 9700 West Stockton Blvd. Elk Grove, CA at Elk Grove Automall. We were greeted when we came in and helped us right away. The Staff were so pleasant and helpful. The office was very clean and organized. I must say, we were provided an Excellent Service from picking up the car and returning it back. Thank you for the excellent service you provided us.

We have rented a premium SUV x3 yrs in a row. (Weve been using them off and on for yrs). However, we had issues with the Ford Expedition...horrible car!!! The Enterprise on Elk Grove Blvd was by far the best. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at the Franklin Blvd location but the Enterprise in Elk Grove showed me what customer service, professionalism, and ability to communicate was all about. I was hesitant to use enterprise for my rental needs but I will definitely keep going to the Elk Grove location. They are fast, friendly, professional, kind, and explain anything you ask in details. Enterprise Rent-A-Car located on 8420 Elk Grove Blvd. has a fantastic customer service. The front desk as well as those guys at the back who clean the cars or pick-up the customers, are all nice. They work like they are all members of one family who are eager to help a customer whenever they can. I would recommend this location better than the other Enterprise in the area because they have great customer care. They also have good selection of cars, and the gas station nearby is very convenient.

I own my own business and run 3 trucks to get my projects done every day without fail. Today it did not start so good being that 1 of my pick up trucks went down unexpectedly Grrrrrr. I immediately called Enterprise in Elk Grove,CA to see if they could help me out with a pick truck rental. As they have done so many times in the past they had someone pick me up and got me to their office in like 20 minutes! They found me a truck and off I went to complete my installation 2 hours away what a relief! Thank you to the crew in Elk Grove for coming to my company rescue, keep up the great work guys I will always rent from you.
