This place was amazing. I needed a lot done to my newly bought car and they did it without hesitation. I went to a place before and wanted to charge me an extra 400 dollars for less of a fix. They sent me updates without asking, pictures, explanations, and even have a box to select yes or no to select what you want to repair with the costs on there. They explained every question and even when they couldn’t do a task for me they sent me a link to purchase the part and a recommendation on where to get it exchanged. Their work was very professional but enough to be personal with you. I appreciate all their work done and flexibility and recommend them to anyone.

Greatest Santiago is incredible I’ve had the pleasure of talking to him a time or two when looking to buy a performance euro I ended up buying a CT’s v and wanted a ls7 clutch up grade I dropped it off at another shop and after a day or two called and said they couldn’t do it! So then I had called around and no one wanted the task I already bought the parts! I took my wife’s bmw to Santiago and was amazed how quick he got it done. I told him of my trouble and he said I’ll do it gave me a great price and had me in and out other shops would touch! I’m a customer for life and his service writer kept me up to date with info and photos. Great place for anything!!!

Santiago and the team have knowledge on a wide variety of German vehicles. I brought in my 1989 Mercedes 300ce after about 5 other shops didnt want to work on it. They were more than happy to help me service my vehicle and got me the results I was aiming to achieve. The best part about my whole experience is how personal they handle their relationships with clients. As well as the fact they use shopware technology to allow you to stay updated on the progress of the work being done with pictures and estimates in real time. Hands down my most comfortable and easy mechanic shop experience to date.

Bought a 2002 BMW 530I but the sunroof wouldnt open and seemed like it wasnt sealing right either. Santiago said to bring it on over and they would take a look. Immediately found the problem which consisted of broken lifting brackets that attach to the rails. He found the parts and ordered them for me. Once the parts arrived it took him and his team the better half of a day (they had to removed the front and side panels and the roof to get to work on the main issue). Honestly wouldnt have been surprised if this job would have taken longer than a day after seeing the pictures of the work being done. Summer is here and I am glad the sunroof is working like new!

Did two separate pre-purchase inspections. Santiago found the transmission fluid looked and smelled abnormal, suspected a bad transmission. Passed on the car. Second car struts needed replacing. Inspection helped with negotiations. Santiago fit us in at the last moment. Highly professional and I trust his judgement when it comes to inspecting cars. Knowledge and peace of mind when buying a used car is worth the money.

If you need work done on a BMW, this is the place to go. I have two of them, a 1992 E30 and a 2011 328i. Not many places are willing to work on older BMWs but Santiago has a lot of experience on those, so this is the place where I will take my E30 to moving forward. Not to mention my 328i. I havent owned it very long and just thought it wasnt as powerful as my E30 but after they diagnosed that the onboard computer was not properly calibrated, its a whole new ballgame now. Holy $#@% the car is fast now! Thank you L&S.

Extremely impressed with the service. They gave a very thorough inspection of a vehicle i was considering purchasing from a private party and saved us from making a huge mistake! They even offered to help coordinate future inspections like this before we would make the 3 hour drive in the future (were from our off town). Great service, great people with integrity and honesty. Oh my God! Im so happy I was referred to Santiago at L&S Autowerkz.I bought my BMW in for a warning light reading malfunction on adaptive headlight. He is a honest man, there was nothing wrong with the lights. After diagnostic, Santiago was able to get lights working with no needed part. He only recommended changing my battery at a fraction of the cost the dealership charge for parts and labor. Plus, it was time for a new battery anyway since my car was seven years old. Let me add they dropped me off and picked me up from work. Santiago has gained a lifetime customer on repair and service.

Santiago and Mark are awesome! I came in to get my 328i BMW checked because my SES light came on. They are reasonable and wont cheat you. They take the time to make sure you understand what is wrong with your car and the things that need to be done. You dont find a lot of repair shops like this one who can be honest and willing to go out their way to help you. Santiago is very knowable about BMWs, he worked at the BMW dealership in EG, so he knows his stuff. I plan on coming here to get any of my car needs done.

This is hands down one of the best shops around to get your car repaired at. I got referred to them through the BMW dealership since the dealership wasn’t able to fix the issue on my car. I called L&S MotorWerks just a few hours before they closed. I told them the issue I was having with my car and I got there a hour before they closed. We didn’t know right away what the exact problem was with my car but right away they pulled my car into the shop and had their mechanics start diagnosing it and figuring out the problem. They had told me they closed in less than 30 min when I arrived but Santiago and his mechanics stayed after hours just to help me and diagnose my car since they knew it was my only way of transportation. I had to leave it there overnight but not even 9am the next day, they had called me and informed me on what the issue was and how much everything would be. They had the part in and installed within a few hours of calling me. I got there and they explained everything they did to fix the original problem and what other issues they found with my car. They even did a free courtesy full car inspection. I am amazed by the work that was done on my car. They had my car fixed and back to me in less than 24 hours after originally calling them. If you have any problems or even just want to get your car checked out and inspected, I highly recommend taking it here to L&S MotorWerks.

The experience was incredible I found Santiago to work on my wife’s bmw I went to the dealership they told me this and that so I went to L&S to get another opinion. Santiago and his service advisor were incredible got it done with a quarter of the supposed issues! I am a CTS v owner and was talking to him about how I wished he did ls work because I was trying to upgrade to an ls7 clutch and fly wheel and the shop I normally take it to got it on the rack and spent 2 days just to tell me they couldn’t do it! I called around no one would touch it! I was telling Santiago he said no worries I’ll take care of it. He was so professional he even found me a specialized part and made it so clean not to mention took care of it for me with the gm parts down for Covid he got the parts! They kept me in the loop the entire time educated me on what he was doing sent pictures it was great! Not to mention car runs incredible and my wife’s car too! I have been to L&S multiple times and every time Santiago is honest, clear and straightforward with his work and prices. My 2014 XDrive BMW 328D needed a new transfer case. I took it to Elk Grove BMW and they wanted to charge me $4700. The owner (Santiago) at L&S Motorwerks specializes in BMW. Took my car to him and he was able to do the same job as Elk Grove BMW for a little less then half the prize Elk Grove BMW wanted to charge me. Hes friendly, he keep me posted on everything he was doing, and he charges reasonable prices that wont make you go broke... I picked up my car today and he even offered me to take my car back in a few days so he can double check to see if everythings going ok for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE... Anyone who own a BMW, I recommend you to take your car there if you need anything done...

Santiago is very professional, great customer service and most importantly, they’re (L S Motorwerks) very knowledgable at what they do and didn’t leave me in the dark about anything. Although I research my car issues and every single term or kind of repair I get done, I appreciate that Santiago doesn’t mind explaining it, also giving me some tips/advise to keep the car running smoothly. That car had been sitting for a few months with the battery dead and engine oil filter Fd up; had the belt tensioner done, too.. and they cleaned the engine for free. Yay! Car’s running good now, and they will follow-up in a few weeks to make sure everything stays good. First and only mechanic I would trust for my BMW.Regular people who don’t blog (like me) are compelled to write a review based on two experiences, bad or exceptional.
