DO NOT take your car here. I have brought in my car with little to no problem in this place. Did an oil change and they have strip the bolt of the oil pan after it was serviced. Second visit for a diagnostic and visual inspections. Have told us that needs maintenance service in regards the brakes are needed but when the repair and service is denied they have purposely broke the parts that they have suggested to repair. I have brought in a dummy car that has no issues or damage to be repaired to it.BE CAREFUL GUYS

Oil leaking from oil filter. Had to tighten after noticing oil stains on my garage floor. Disappointed & spent 1 hour cleaning garage floor! Staff nice & wasnt busy. Well April my oil reminder via patriot latitude indicated getting oil changed!? Re a key so speedy dee didnt reset system! This is why consumers need to pay attention!! Im so over getting g screwed every time I try! Over it & moving on to the next company.

I took my Cadillac Escalade to get the transmission fluids changed and not only did they take a long time but when I brought it home it was leaking everywhere so I took it back the next morning because they were already closed, so i left it there all day they said it was on them they were going to fix it, I waited allday and no one did not call me so I showed up there at the end of the day to pick up my truck thinking it was fixed and they just forgot to call me But NOPE and it was still sitting in the same spot and they said they didn’t do that leak mind you there was no leaks in my truck prior to that and now they won’t fix it. So now I am stuck with paying more money somewhere else to get the leak fixed. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Im assuming they did a decent oil change but didnt pay attention to the time. However, I asked them to check my tires 3 times and they failed to even put air in them. Their lies put me in danger.

Usually Roseville is my go to location. Since moving to south sac, I found the Elk Grove location and Id have to say GREAT SERVICE from start to finish. My husband and I are transporters. We were in the area try to get a smog test for a 2018 Equinox. We had been to 2 other test facilities and they hadnt been able to perform the test for some reason. We called this Midas and they worked us in right before they closed. We are so grateful for the friendly and fast service they offered .If were ever working in the area again we know where to go FIRST.

We went in for a smog test without an appointment. We were in and out within the hour. They have a nice little waiting room but we decided to browse the shopping center. They do recommend making an appointment for faster service.

Please dont go here. Gerado is dishonest and rude. They just waste your time and hard earned money. They take no consideration for their customers. Went in for simple matter. They turned it into a nightmare. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Not sure how this place is still operating. Would give negative rating but it wont allow. Definitely two thumbs down. No customer service. I have been to many Midas or speeDee locations through out California but this is the worst experience ever. Firestone just got a new life time customer. Firestone is trustworthy and better priced.

I arrived at closing, they took me immediately in and handled everything flawlessly. The entire crew is world class!

I paid a $100 for a prepurchase inspection. They told me everything looked good except the rear brakes need to be replaced. So I bought the car. However, they missed that the headlights were loose, the rear wiper goes on by itself, (because they didnt test drive the car, which they are supposed too) they didnt mention that when you brake going faster speeds the car shakes. They supposedly spent 1 1/2 hours inspecting the car. These are simple things any shop knowing what a prepurchase inspection means would have found. Part of their problem is they dont stay focused on your car. I sat and watched them. The guy would spend 5 minutes on my car then go do an oil change on a different car. Then come back to my car for 5 minutes and then to the next car that came in hed go work on it. I think they spent the most time vacuuming the car I brought in which still had plastic on the carpet from being cleaned. Ive reported them to the Better Business Bureau. The point of a prepurchase inspection is so you can determine if you want buy the car and/or negotiate the price based on what the car needs.

Terrible place to service your car. I went to get my breaks check because they were making a noise. This guy came back and tried to make me have service done on my car but trying to scared me and telling me that is against the law letting me drive my car in that condition and basically that my car was going crumble and wanted me to pay $900. I have some sort of knowledge about cars and that did not sound right and I dont see anywhere in a law book or a pino code that I should not drive my car if the breaks are making a noise. I called my father in-law and he checked the car and it only need it the break paths. I only spend $180 and my father in-law put them. I used to go there for almost everything, but lately they just want you to up sale things that you dont even need and in a fraudulent way. This place cant be trusted.

Came in to find out why my car was losing power, ended up spending 840 dollars fixing unnecessary little things. I was told the change my oil filter and oil change, both of which appeared on my receipt, only to find they did neither. They take advantage of male and female customers who lack knowledge with vehicles. I took it to a different Speedees in Auburn who said they have no idea why or how they pulled those minor problems that they claimed would fix the issue I was experiencing. If I could rate them lower I would. Dont go here unless you like wasting money and time.

Best Customer Service! They dont oversell you on anything and tell you only the important things that need to be fixed. Rotor and Break pads replaced quickly when I dropped my car off.

I have been going to speedy lube for a couple of years now, just want to say it’s my go to place for mechanical issues, oil changes etc Great service and knowledgeable employees.

Don’t forget each Speedee is independently owned so they will have different pricing. With that said, this review is on this location only.Been coming here a lot lately.They have reasonable pricing and are not pushy when they recommend services that your car ACTUALLY needs.JP the manager sounds like he’s yelling when he speaks but that’s naturally how he talks. Dont take it personal (he’s not actually yelling at you). He’s a cool dude. Once you understand this you’ll be good haha.

Fantastic experience. Had to get a stupid STAR smog test instead of a normal smog test. Cuz California I guess (not an old car either, no idea why I got flagged).Anyway, made appt. Drove down, owner drove it in. I went and ate fish tacos next door. Came back, sat down to wait and done.Super friendly, excellent pricing, very clean and nice waiting room and most importantly the job gets done fast and correct. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Smogged mine toyota pickup here 5 times after it failed smog for timing being off by 5 degree. I gave J.P and his employee a hard time and thought they were doing the job incorrectly, however, I was wrong. They followed the ASE and NATEF certified standard service procedure and perform the task correctly as any other independent or dealership shop would have done. I finally figure out what was wrong with my vehicles timing issue and have to thank their certified STARS smog inspector Alex for failing and passing my car. He told me that my truck distributor hold down bolt should not be too far advance or retard when tightening the bolt. I went home and recheck mine vehicles timing chain, both crank and camshaft were within manufacture specification. Recheck mine distributor rotor, gear, and cap, found out my old distributor gear was missing the OEM shim between the gear and the camshaft assembly. Remove the old distributor gear and switched it with the old one. Reinstalled everything and recheck my vehicles timing issue. In conclusion, It finally fixed mine timing issue and vehicle pass smog flawlessly. I would definitely take my car here again because they have great workmanship, ethnic, and quality service that meets ASE service procedure.

Brought in my car for a smog check, it failed the smog check due to a crack in the air intake line. They told me they could order the part and have it in the next day, it would cost $150 for the part and $50 for installation. I left, went to AutoZone bought the part for $30 with a lifetime warranty and installed it in 15 minutes.

For the 60 dollars most charge for only oil, these guys will also change filters, refill most types of car fluids and clean the windows and vacuum the inside.

They were fast and it was last minute.

They lived up to the stereotype of terrible rip off mechanic service..They told me that it would take up to an hour and a half to complete service.I was told service would begin right away.My car sat for 2 hours before they started to work on it.Within the next hour of me waiting for my vehicle repair I observed at least 3 customers walk in have their car serviced and walk out while I continued to wait. I also witnessed a mechanic upsell unnecessary $10 each platinum spark plugs and an unnecessary extra fee for a diagnostic check to both male and female customers.They worked on my car for 20 minutes then let some young man squeegee my windows, who left pools and streaks of dirty mud water all over my vehicle.Staff members leaned on my car while talking on the phone and telling each other stories for another 20 minutes before I got my vehicle returned.I would expect this type of service on Florin or Franklin but not on Elk Grove.

The owner him self and the guys who work on your car in the garage all look like they got their credentials in prison. Some crooks will always be crooks! They try to throw it off by letting a young lady run the front desk.This place does not belong in elk grove where people are honest and make a honest living, we dont need scammers or dishonest people taking advantage of our lack of knowledge. Horrible level of customer service. They will nickel and dime you. I bought a car from a friend of mine. Took it in to have the smog done before filing the title. Was told I had a vacuum pump that while functioned fine, did not have the correct stamp from the dealership. Visited the dealership,received a new pump from them, and upon return and secondary test was still insufficient. Left and took and later took my business to the nearby 88 test only shop on masey court. Had my car tested and cleared in not only half the time, but half the money of speedees. At speedee they made no effort to go beyond the bare minimum of service. Recently had a friend of mine go back and was screwed in almost the exact same way, so I felt I had to write this review to warn anyone else. Speedees will not work with you to help you in any way and often will point out the most insignificant detail to cost you more money and time there.please avoid the store for any of the other reputable shops nearby them.
