At first I thought this dealership was perfect! I live on the entire other side of the usa on the east cost and Bobby helped me through the process super nicely and the experience at first was good! After receiving the car I come to notice that they drilled a license plate mount into the perfectly good bumper of a RARE 1/1500 YELLOW car and did not care they ruined the car like this or even enough to tell me they PURPOSELY damaged my car. It’s very clear there is no need for the plate to be drilled in, the holder is in the grille NOT on the bumper, it’s common sense. Although I had an easy experience buying that would have me give them 5 stars, I don’t believe they even deserve 1. It’s very conniving that they would leave that fact out to someone who is purchasing from the entire other coast. As a previous RS1 owner I KNOW that the plate and mount are not screwed in so it was not even plausible for me to assume there would be holes hiding under something NOT meant to be drilled in. Make sure you make them take off the plate holder before purchasing any of these cars or you will have a very upsetting surprise hiding under it and no justice for their very large mistake.

We had great experience purchasing a new car here. We worked with Fritz. He is very knowledgeable about the cars and was pleasure to work with. Other sales people can learn a lot from him about how to sell a car in 2021. When we arrived to purchase the car it was ready to test drive and financing and document signing was quick and smooth. Would recommend buying a car from this dealer. Often it all depends on the sales person you get, in this case Fritz definitely made this purchase stress free and fun!

We saw an ad for a used car at EG VW and went in to check it out. The ad was totally accurate as to the features and great condition of the car. Our salesperson, Wyatt, was calm and helpful, he answered our questions, explained the features and helped us throughout the process. We are extremely happy with the car. Its three years old but looks brand new inside and out.

I had a very positive experience with Elk Grove Volkswagon. The salesman, Bobby Williams, went out of his way to accommodate me while test driving the Atlas Cross Sport. I brought my dog and he dog sat while I drove. He was never pushy, just a really nice person. When it came to purchasing the car, he did his best to help me get the price I wanted. He succeeded and the dog and I have a new car that we absolutely love. Later, when questions arose, I texted him for help and he responded promptly. The finance manager was also very pleasant and efficient. He got me out of there without a big push to buy extras, which of course I appreciated. Everyone else, the receptionist, the other salespeople, etc. were helpful and made my experience a good one. I would definitely recommend this dealership and the new Atlas Cross Sport!

I wish I could give Laser VW a better review, I was going to give them a 3 star (after writhing this I decided they earned this one star review) !I ordered a one of a kind VW from Volkswagen and choose laser VW to have the car delivered too. And on July 20th that car arrived and everything changed from that point on.I knew I should have gotten the heck outta there when after getting a confirmed trade in price for my car they tried low balling me a thousand less that the original offer.It was at this time the sales manager Tony changed details of the sale of my car at time of purchase.Because this was a one of one car they knew had had me and Tony said “we know we hooked you up BUT.....”And that’s when he started taking things off the table for the deal.I was told later ...”Sales said they fired you as a customer” ..after I just bought a $50K+ one off Volkswagen..that’s one way of making sure you don’t get repeat business.Because I pre-paid for my factory Maintince at time of sale I’m required to bring my car back to this dealership.Don my assigned service righter from day 1 has always come off with a very rude on condescending attitude.Even at one time saying “wow your clear bra looks like crap” something I took offense too and later had my car re-done by Man at Detail Maniac and made Don tell me it looked better next time I brought it in.Today the real S hit the fan!I placed an order w/ Don for a REAR WINDOW for one of my VW’s ( I own 4 total)I pre-paint for the window and after 7 days left Don a voice mail message asking if when the window was supposed to arrive.He was on vacation that week and called me back Monday with a negative/ rude reply talking down to me saying Wi does took 18 days and he would call me when it arrived then hung up the phone before I could ask about bring my other car in for a oil change.I revived a Voice mail from Don the following Monday saying “hey this is Don please give me a call back”I called back several times during the day but DON would not pick up his phone, because he did not leave a DETAILED VOICE MESSAGE I didn’t know what was going on, had the window arrived or was there a problem?About 4.5hrs later I got ahold of Don and he was very argumentative with me, yelled at me for not leaving him a Voicemail in return , said he was calling to find out when I could bring the car down I explained I was in no rush and they could have the car as as needed ... I tried exposing something else and it was at this point Don got jumpy and raised his voice with me barking something at me saying don’t yell at him (it was at this time he realized they had the WRONG WINDOW) and after being yelled at I hung up the phone on Dob because I had no interest in arguing. Took a deep breath and called back, Don kept yelling at me, never mentor they ordered the wrong window and never apologized for his candor.I was them forwarded to his boss the new service manager ... who apologized and took responsibility for the wrong window being ordered.I called back a few hours later because this didn’t sit right with me, I think and I still feel Don knew at 10:47am when left me the first message they had ordered the wrong window and had wasted 18days of my time waiting.When dealerships screw up and don’t want to man up or take fair responsibility for their mistakes they tend to blame the customer and that’s exactly what happens today.This ended with the service manager from Laser VW yelling at me like the girl he really is saying “I’ll mail you a refund check” ... NO!I waited 18 days for a window I pre-paid for that you ordered the WRONG PART!Don NEVER apologized for yelling at me or wasting my entire work day , and when I came back into the dealership he yelled at me again saying “Brad just stop!”Don ... I’m the customer, take that negative rude attitude and put that in the desk And learn how to respect your customers!! .... also grow up Don!!

This dealer is awesome! My dad had emailed them beforehand about the car I was interested in and they had it pulled up to the front by the time we got there. Adam was incredibly courteous and friendly and got us everything we wanted in terms of prices. Vinny/Vinnie in the finance department was very nice as well and got us through all the forms quickly. Everyone was also wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer galore, which we appreciated greatly. I cant say enough good things about this place. You wont regret visiting!

Took my 2015 VW CC in for regularly scheduled maintenance and a minor repair... they then tried to charge me over $4500 for what they call “regular maintenance” and one of the things they said I “Needed” is a “Carbon Clean” which they wanted over $1000 for. I have talked to other shops about this and they all said it’s not mandatory by any means and I got quoted a much lower price closer to $100... never returning to another VW dealership ever again. Lost a customer for life

I came here with my wife and was originally looking at a Toyota Rav4 and Ford for the past month. We were immediately greeted by Fritz with a smile. Out of all of the dealership sales execs spanning from Folsom to the Bay area, Fritz was the brightest, friendliest and really enjoyed his line of work. VW make great cars but this dealer who is local to me is a pain in the backside and Ive filled complaints with VW about them.I wanted a particular color which they didnt have in stock but they could get it from another dealer about 50 miles away but for a marked up price. Thats understandable (they are a business after all). But everyones hurting so I saved the $500 and just drove to the dealer who has the color I wanted.Fast forward 6 month and its time for my first complimentary service. They are giving me a REAL hard time about getting it serviced with them. So silly!You have to earn someones business not expect it just because they live around the corner.

Terrible/horrible customer service. Had an appointment because of the Covid19. Confirmed appointment and arrived early to purchase car. Car was sold to someone else before we arrived with no contact, no phone call, nothing. We drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership only to deal with unprofessional sales staff. Manager said he was embarrassed about what happened and should be. What a complete waste of our time and day. Salesperson(Roxy) we made appointment with didnt even mention it was her day off of the scheduled appointment!!!

Adam was our sales person. I hope it’s a compliment, he reminded me of the actor Danny De Vito. He was not a typical pushy sales person. I am still in awe owning a new 2019 Jetta R-Line. I was skeptic with the German engineering but my husband is an all time car enthusiast and I am glad he knows more details about cars. On the other hand, I have an in depth knowledge of financing. My overall experience was great. They are not pushy at all which normally is a big turn off.

Purchases a 2020 VW GTI S on 08/14/2020.The android auto doesnt work in this car, I came back to dealer to get some help but they didnt seem to care. Basically told to take a hike. So I did.Also, I was sold window tint from dealer being told that it is done in-house and will get it taken care of this week (week of 08/17/2020). When service guys called i was informed that they contract it out to another company and that they were looking at a mid September scheduling. Thats a bit far off from what Eddie sold/ told me.I contacted the locations sales manager yesterday, but still have not had any luck.

We were in the market for a Dealer Certified used vehicle for use by our daughter’s au pair. We had looked at cars at several dealerships until we found Lasher’s Elk Grove Volkswagen. We immediately connected with a sales rep who showed us a beautifully maintained 2016 Jetta with ~40,000 miles that had just come off of a 3 year lease. The car had been recently serviced and certified by the dealership and came with a 2 year warranty for service at any VW dealership. It was a clean car with no history of accidents or major servicing needs and came with a brand new set of tires. Elk Grove VW was great to work with and in the space of a couple of hours, we had the car we wanted. Thank you Elk Grove VW for a positive and pleasant car shopping experience!

Bought a new 2020 Tiguan S from EG VW and had a very good experience. We agreed on a price Thursday on Thursday and agreed to let me and my wife come back on Friday to sign paperwork. They even let us start the credit app over the phone Friday morning so we could expedite the signing process in the dealership.Most importantly, the sales staff didnt try to push other vehicles or options like a lease or a pre-owned car during our negotiations like I experience else where.

First, I would like to say that Adam was an awesome. I have no complaints about him. Then enters Tony. He came in saying the dealership was taking a loss with his first offer. I told him that the numbers didnt work for my budget. In a very condescending tone, he told me I could afford it if I really wanted the truck. He was rude, when I would not accept his first offer. I thanked him for his time shook his hand and left. When I had gotten a couple of blocks away I received a call from Adam saying I had left my registration and the other set of keys. When I walked back into Tonys office Adam handed me the keys and registration. Tony was on the phone and hung up as I was walking out of his office. Tony said someone mad a mistake and put the wrong amount that the company had paid for the vehicle and could offer almost $1500 less for the truck. I agreed to the deal. I went back today with a cashiers check and a letter from my credit union. As Tony was writing out the receipt, i asked him to write paid in full on the receipt. He said he would not do that because my cashiers check hadnt cleared the bank. I reminded him that a cashiers check was guaranteed payment. Again he said my check hadnt cleared the bank. Insinuating that the cashiers check might be fraudulent. Had I not already signed the contract, i would have taken my check and left. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A LASHER DEALERSHIP AGAIN. I will tell everyone I know my poor experience at the Lasher dealership. When I left I had a few choice words and walked out.

Updated review: This dealership really does care about their customer service. My first experience with this dealership was not all that favorable. I had an issue with a brand new lease. After discussing the issue with the General Manager, Patrick and his finance officer Tony, they not only made me feel great about being a customer there but truly provided me great customer service. At first I was a customer that had no intention of being a repeat customer, now, I would happily purchase another vehicle from the Lasher Dealership and recommend them to family and friends.

Everything as expected, no pressure, feel free to ask a million questions theyll help every step of the way, after all they do want the sale but are professional enough to give you every detail up front. The warranty packages in the financial section though; just a heads up the gap insurance is way more expensive there just get it from your insurance company. Overall great experience though. Make sure your car comes with floor mats before you leave.

I had a VW convertible when I was in my 20s and always thought I would love to have another. I have needed a new car for a lot of years, but loved my 20 yr old Pontiac convertible. We finally decided that I needed to look, and we stopped by Elk Grove VW last week. Adam Pepitone met us in the lot and I am SO happy that he did. I was honest with him that I was not purchasing on that day (I am a big researcher), but that I needed to get information, and he was helpful, friendly, and gave us as much time as we needed. We even took the car for a test drive. Never once did he become that pushy sales person that makes buyers uncomfortable. We left with a lot of information and numbers and took several days to make a good decision. I called Adam several days later with my thoughts and my offer and pretty much everything was done over the phone which made going back to the dealership to finish up the deal a breeze. Everyone that we met and dealt with at the dealership was as helpful and friendly as Adam. We drove off in my new VW Final Edition SEL Convertible and I love it! The team at Elk Grove VW were easy to deal with from the beginning. We make most of our contact via email initially, and then phone and and text message as we finalized things. Our main sales contact, Kyle, was kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We got a good price, the car we wanted, and great financing (the latter via our own bank, preapproved). Arranged car pick up and deal sign off for a Saturday morning, and that whole process took an hour with no surprises. Good business, good people.

I went into Elk Grove Volkswagen/Audi dealership with the intent of purchasing a used Audi A6. Daniel Pasqual introduced himself to me and my family and showed us several used A6s on the lot. I fell in love with a 2011 silver A6 which featured the premium package. Daniel was very attentive and answered all questions asked of him. Even if there was something he couldnt answer himself, he took the time to find out the answer.I LOVE THIS CAR :)

I purchased a vehicle from Elk Grove VW two weeks ago. I waited until all parts of the sales agreement were met before posting. I honestly do not think my dissatisfaction with my experience will be addressed or rectified but I still feel compelled to provide you feedback and warn other customers about what possibly awaits them. By far this was the worse car buying experience that I have ever had. This purchase was not one of need but one of want.Honestly, feels like I was baited with terms that I agreed to and then when I arrived and had rims put on the terms that I agreed to were switched. Simply stated, I do not believe the terms of my agreement were met and that this was the worse car buying experience that I have ever had. Lesson learned from this point forward I will ensure that I get EVERYTHING in writing when buying my next vehicle.

Howard Tran was great! He came in on his day off to assist me with the purchase of our new VW vehicle and spent an inordinate amount of time teaching me how to use the navigation and sound system. I dont think there was one question I asked that he didnt have an answer to.We are very happy with our purchase and Howards personalized service!

Just be warned their so-called “Service Xpress” is nonexistent. You WILL have to make an appointment a week out to get your vehicle serviced.

We had a horrible experience with the Elk Grove Volkswagen. We are previous VW Jetta owners who were looking to buy a used Jetta same day. They had one that was sitting on the lot for almost 60 days at a good price, however we tried to negotiate it $500 due to high taxes and it was a color that we didnt like. The sales manager (I think his name was Tony? He sat in the first office on the left) was very rude about us even thinking about making an offer. I want to be clear, WE ARE NOT GIVING A BAD RATING DUE TO PRICING. We are giving a bad rating due to the way we were treated. We wanted to test drive the car and the battery was dead. I pointed out that the car has been on the lot for a while and we can tell they would want to get rid of it. He claims that the battery died because it was cold outside and that he had it running the night before. Even if that were true, then who would want to buy a car where the battery cannot withhold 40 degree temperatures? Oh and also, he completely disrespects woman and only makes eye contact with men who is presumably paying, brushing me off like I dont know anything. We will NEVER buy a car from this place even if they are giving them away. He gave a really bad impression of Volkswagen himself. We went on with our day to buy a nice Ford instead from a more respectful and honest dealer.

My boyfriend and I LOVE Elk Grove VW. We just bought our second car there in 4 months. The sales people are knowledgeable and low pressure, and extremely helpful.I bought my Audi from Darren and my bf bought his Chrysler from Calvin...we asked for Darren on our return trip but he was out on paternity leave for one more day. Thats ok though, we are happy to have met Calvin! We also really like the finance team, they are great.Ive also taken my Audi in for service twice - once to get my windows tinted, and again because the check engine light came on. Both times we were just BLOWN AWAY by the customer service experience we had. In particular, when the check engine light was on - when we went to pick up the car, the service manager Jeff said you have a great warranty that covers... and we thought he was going to say that the warranty didnt cover the work they did (and we would have been really bummed out). But what he ended up saying was this wouldnt be covered by your warranty. But, because it was not caused by you, and because it was nothing that could have been seen before you purchased, we billed the used car department. So, no money out of our pocket!Just WOW WOW WOW is all we can say about this dealer, all around. We want to send as much business their way as we can!

I was scheduled a shuttle, he was very nice and everything was on time! My oil change and recall was done and I was on my way!
