I had an appointment April 6, 2021at 8:30 am. I was told I needed to drop my car off, because it needed a diagnostic test and they were not sure how long everything would take. My SRS light was on. I received a call in the afternoon letting me know that the problem was with my alternator and battery. They replaced my alternator but found out that the battery only needed to be charged and Not replaced. My car was there all day but I am thankful that the work was done and I have a 12 month warranty. I always make it my business to shop around and find the best prices for repairs done on my car. The average cost for this repair is between $545--$1,100. My total was $740, not bad. Thanks Auto Tech for taking care of my car and charging me a decent price for the repair. I will be recommending friends and families to Auto Tech for all their car repairs. By the way, I have a 2003 Honda CR-V.

This shop does tremendous work and their pricing is very reasonable. Been going here for years and they have never let me down. Highly recommend them.

The quote was a little high in fact a little too high for a simple job

I have been going to Auto Tech for a number of years and my experience and repairs have always been exceptional. On one occasion I had taken my Infiniti for a repair and about a week later. My wife called me from work saying her car was leaking. I immediately had the car to Auto Tech to be checked. I received a call from then with the news that the radiator was cracked. I was fine with that and told them to do the repairs. To my amazement I was told by owner I would not have to pay for the labor because he felt they should have saw the problem with the radiator when I brought it in the week prior. From that time on, whenever I bring either of my cars in for repairs, I tell them to go ahead and repair whatever they find. Integrity means everything to me and they have proven to me they have it. I have referred several friends and family members to them and will continue to do so.

This is the BEST place for auto repairs. And EXTREMELY reasonable prices. And the service is FANTASTIC. Never need a return visit to correct a problem again. My care is newer so repairs are not often. My washer motor burned out. I was given an estimate. The work was done. And the price was $10.00 cheaper. I asked why. The owner said I thought the bolts would be rusted tight. They came off easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this auto repair shop.

Mechanic look lazy. I saw one dropping parts in boxes to the ground hard.

Called Monday was told to come in Wednesday at 8:30. Got there a little early, having to do a diagnostic check. The guy in the office tells me it would be a couple hours, that turn into the whole day. To overnight to a couple of days. Really?!? All in one sentence, told me Id have to come back so I can leave my car. If you did not want to work on it just be up front instead of wasting peoples time, and making excuses. Left there quickly, drove back in to old town Elk Grove, went to an auto Care shop on Dino, got it scanned they had an OBD2ll reader programmed for Volvos, found out what the issue with my ABS is with the codes and have an appointment on Friday to have it repaired and the cable replaced. And it only took them 45 minutes. Not days!

This place is awesome. Took my car in for over heating and engine light on. They diagnosed it saying that the head gasket was bad, do ended up taking it to KIA who after diagnosing it, said it justed needed updating on my computer system.I called John and told him. He told me to bring in their paperwork and he would refund the cost of the diagnosis. If you need any reliable work done, take your car there.

A group of very good mechanics and all my experiences with them. But also very busy so have to have a little patience to get the best.

Ive taken a couple cars to them, and theyre fantastic. Very honest, and they will do the job right (or in an unusual case of multiple snapped belts on my Sentra, theyll fix it until it stays fixed). I recommend people to them often.

Great service and quality diagnostics! Our family was traveling through town on our summer vacation and heard a loud clunking. We afraid to keep driving so pulled of the freeway. We asked for help at this repair shop and were given the most thoughtful service. He test drove it, put it up on the lift and diagnosed it right away as an annoying but not dangerous issue. Thanks to his help, we got back on the road within an hour! We were so grateful!

I had two great experience with Auto Tech the owner is down the Earth. Easy going professional, transparent , knowledgeable. He is a good resource to go to 4 pre-purchase inspection he charges reasonable rates and is the best investment you make by getting a car you want to buy inspected. I took three cars to him one of them unfortunately I purchased then I took the car after and I regretted it I should have took it before I would have saved a lot of money and time . Today in purchasing a car and Im going to have it inspected I want to buy with confidence and knowledge appreciate the crew for serving our community.

The scheduler was astute: He remembered my name, my car, and its problems. I can get an appointment within two days. I was surprised--pleasantly-- that their rates were quite well below a couple of other places I had gone, and their work is very good.

Great service!! My battery light was on. They inspected it for free and advised what the issue was. I didnt have them do the repair because it was something simple my husband could fix. If I ever have a problem my husband is unable to fix I will be back! They were really friendly and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, I am compelled to write this negative review. Be warned about anything beyond or above an oil change at Auto Tech. If the problem is engine related, please consider taking it in to a dealer. I now wish that I would have. At least, get a dealer quote that defines what is needed to fix the problem and make sure that whoever fixes it - also follows it.I was given repair quotes from Auto Tech that turned out to be incorrect, misleading and dishonest. I should have just severed the ties, right then and there. But, I wanted to trust them. Big mistake, on my part.From there, it is my belief that someone perpetuated the problem, at Auto Tech, intentionally. Its now too late to prove it. Regardless - I do know it to be true. I had to get the vehicle fixed. So, I worked in collusion with a different mechanic (who chooses to remain anonymous) - that I know to be honest. Together, we set up a situation where we could monitor Auto Techs repair work on this particular problem. They flunked. It became obvious that Auto Techs intent was to set up continued repairs on the particular problem. What they did was very difficult to detect by an untrained vehicle owner. But, the honest mechanic discovered it right away, upon a visual inspection. Just be aware that I now know that I made a huge mistake in trusting Auto Tech for a technical repair. I hope you wont find yourself in a similar situation with Auto Tech, or any other repair shop. But, we all know that this kind of intentionally causing a problem does happen. Its more widespread than we would like to believe.Please use more caution than I did!Lesson learned, the hard way.

Tried this place 3 different times. Had a bad experience everytime. The quality of repair was terrible and the schedualing process was pretty bad too.
