Kevin was great, come to find out we knew a lot of the same people in the Elk Grove community. He was honest and gave me good service and advice. After he tested my system, it was clear it needed replacing-I already knew that. He told me about the deal the company currently had and it sounded good. So we scheduled an install- he was extremely knowledgeable and since I trusted many of his long time friends and family of his, I took the deal.

Everything was smooth and seamless. They gave us an estimate, showed up on time and did what they said they would do for the quote I was given. We needed new ductwork under the house, they did that and didnt try to sell us on a whole new system. A shout out to Matt and David who did the install, they were great to work with and went under the house (where its not a nice place) with no complaints. It was nice to have them to do the work.

The folks amazed me with such a quick response on a Saturday. Set me up with a phenomenal rep named Kris. He was very punctual, knowledgeable and professional. This man set my wife and I at ease knowing we were in great hands. He had an awesome sense of humor, very comfortable to be around. Did not get the normal salesperson attitude of trying to get us into something we did not need or want. Just absolutely phenomenal, I cant begin to express nor have the words to describe the level of professionalism, and just down to earth these folks made us feel during this experience. They were quick to respond to my email and set up an appointment. Within a couple of days their tech (who was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough) was out getting my AC to run more efficiently. I will definitely use them in the future.

These people are outright thieves. They quoted us $875 to replace a kitchen faucet and said we were getting a deal because the faucet actually normally cost $1400. After they left, we found the faucet manual they accidentally left behind. Retail price of the faucet, $119. Avoid these people at all costs.

I heard about Huft on RAD radio and everyday there was a letter from a listener praising the service Huft provided. My ac was going out so my first move was to call Huft and they were amazing from the first phone call. Everyone who we interacted with was professional and extremely friendly. they work efficiently and very clean. they needed to cut into my ceiling to put an air vent and they cleaned up everything no trace from the install inside or out. the work was impressive. I can’t say enough good things about this company.

This was my first time using Huft. I called to have someone fix my air conditioner after a different A/C company failed to do so. I was very pleased that they were able to get me a next day appointment, first thing in the morning. The technician was right on time (which I feel like never happens). My technician was Chuc Nguyen. He was very nice and explained everything to me thoroughly. He even came back same day to get my air conditioner working. He provided exceptional customer service. Huft Homes Services came out to give an estimate for a new AC unit. Trevor G. came out and was very professional, understanding and very detailed on what I was looking for in a new unit. I had 2 other companies come out and give me and estimate. One company came out, checked the AC unit and the vents inside the house and estimate was given later that day by email. The other company went on the roof and took pictures of the unit and said that he will email the estimate by email but never received any email. Then here comes Trevor who saves the day and did more than what I expected. He explained and answered any questions that I had. I didnt have to wait for an email because he had everything in hand. After checking the AC unit and checking inside the roof, he showed me a video of the unit with explanations on what will be replaced. He was able to provide me an estimate and discounts on the spot and email me the quote as well. Thank you Huft Home Services! We are looking forward to enjoying our new AC unit and staying cool during the hot summer days ahead.

Phenomenal experience. I received a call they were ahead of schedule and came early which was great. After a quick diagnosis, they repaired the issue very speedily. As they were here, another issue presented itself which they diagnosed and repaired as fast as possible. They were very respectful of our property, pets and our circumstance as I am a caregiver for my ailing mother, they were quick, quiet and respectful. Will absolutely come here for all my plumbing needs.

I unfortunately almost never say this these days but must take a moment to do so with Huft. It is a FIVE star company from the repair crew, to the design sales, to the installers. When my ac stopped working Saturday night I was miserable. Called my home warranty and finally got approval to find my own service but they’d need to give a diagnosis for approval. My parents had used Huft in the past and they were life savers. They were closed on Sunday but did answer and said they were booked up for emergency service for that day, however I would be added to a waitlist if anyone canceled andante that worst case they’d be out the following day between 8-10. I also mentioned the home warranty and needing approval and they said, not a problem our technicians are used to the process. No word Sunday, Monday I make arrangements for a family member to meet the tech and no call or technician. My family member called and they said I didn’t have an appointment! They booked for the following day. So today I arrange for family to meet with the tech again, he calls and I explained about how I was frustrated about not getting the appointment the previous day but at least they were coming, I explained that I left the home warranty information and that their company said they were used to the process. He stops me and said they have nothing to do with the home warranty and he wouldn’t follow that process regardless what the answering service said on Sunday. I still have him come since this is going on day three with no air conditioning. He tried a few things but in the end didn’t get it working. He went on and on about how horrible home warranties are but in the end I now have to wait even longer since the repair seems like a larger deal. It’s ridiculous as the whole reason I went with this company was because the past great service, trying to stay local and the fact that they said they could handle the home warranty process. Regardless of who you have speaking on behalf of your company you should honor it. Now I still have no air and can’t get anyone else until Saturday.

So happy I went with Huft! They were very responsive and punctual, completing the job faster than they estimated and left it looking nice which I appreciate since the work I needed was in front of my house. No more leaking/flooding problems and they gave me peace of mind with a warranty in case anything comes up. I would highly recommend them!

The previous owners of our home had an air conditioner installed through Huft. Eight years later we had been having some issues, so we called out Huft. Robert arrived right on time from the start of the time frame given. He was fast, courteous, informative, thorough, and professional.He didnt try to push any extra unnecessary services, but instead offered a DIY solution for a minor issue at less cost. Believe the Hype. My wife and I had a new AC system put in a little over two years ago. We used a bargain company. When we called Huft earlier this year to come check a unit that wasnt running properly our tech told us that not only was the work shoddy, out of compliance and held together with duct tape and broken promises, but it would be dangerous to run it in its current state. Essentially, the system was blowing exhaust back into our ducts. The tech took pictures and relayed that it was one of the worst situations he had ever seen. When the sales rep came out he wasnt pushy and even gave me options that would use the current compressor which is the only salvageable component. When instal day came the team uncovered several new issues that were not in the original quote. They fixed all of them and didnt charge us a penny over what was quoted. They even uncovered a small amount of asbestos. Normally, this would require us to hire a service to come out and seal it. It turns out that our tech was certified to handle it and after checking with Mr. Huft he did just that. Another large monetary and time savings. Everything is perfect and I cant recommend Huft enough.

Huft Home Services was recommended to me by Comfort Master who have always done repairs for me in the past and are now retiring. Huft is installing a new heat and air system and will be finished today. Ryan was extremely thorough in why my system needed to be replaced, including videos and photographs of the system in the attic. He was able to get it running until the install could happen (only 5 days later). Trevor and Toby, the install team, have been wonderful. Theyve been very informative and patient with my questions and considerate of my home and family. I am very satisfied with the whole process and highly recommend this company.

Huft provided a second opinion evaluation of my HVAC system. Their technician, Kevin, was professional, friendly and very thorough. He identified verifiable issues with the existing system ducting the first company never mentioned (and did not address in their estimate). Kevin explained everything and provided a detailed breakdown of needed and optional services and equipment with costs. He obviously knew his business.

Very good experience . The technician arrived on time and was very professional. The only issue I have after the fact is that I paid for 3 pounds of r12? And the system only took 1.5 pounds. Close to $500! So when you go to the next house that only needs 1.5 pounds is it free! Think not!

Electrician was cool and quick just a little over priced for what he did

The installation still is not completed yet and missing two rooms no air conditioners and no 2 zone sensor as original on the purchase agreement. The installation was delayed for one day and we have suffered very hot evening night on last Friday (7/9/2021) with room temperature at 109 degree without AC due to incomplete job for the installation for the entire system. I appreciate two crew teams especially the second crew team on Saturday (7/10/2021) to finally completed most installation job but they are not completed as we mentioned at begin. In addition, during the installation, there are some holes on our wall destroyed and damaged with their mistake and no quality plan and measures to be followed. Now we have two holes on our loft room and one of the bedrooms closet and those jobs still needs to be done. We felt that the contractor did not do the job supposed to be done based on scheduled and the quality of the job performance is not there to cause the installation delayed and few inhouse structure got damaged. One of the thermostat is still not installed due to no parts available at time of job performed.

Justin and Brendan came and installed my hydronic Hvac unit. The install crew worked 13 hours to get the job done in one day. It was not an easy job either! Could not ask for a more knowledgeable crew. They also spotted a bad leak from my water heater and we’re able to lead me in the right direction to get someone out here the next day at 8am to install one which saved me a lot of hassle down the road. Called the morning of 6-26-21 because our air conditioner went out last night. They advertise open 24hrs. emergency service available. However, we were told because we are not a service member they cannot offer us emergency assistance. We moved here 6 months ago, we didnt know being a service member was even a thing, nor were we offered the opportunity to become one. That service member thing is not in their ad, which seems very unprofessional.

Guy showed up, friendly and professional went right to work. Did some diagnostic work. Came up the problem and a solution. Took care of problem and everything is feel with the exception of the stain on my ceiling that I will to deal with now. Happy with the service I received.

Apparently my heater blower motor went out as its an old system (25+ years). Initially used the chat option to schedule an appointment. They were able to book an appointment right away. Fast forward to today and I was greeted by my HVAC technician Miguel who was very professional and friendly. He was able to diagnose my problem right away. He answered any and all questions I had. He then was able to get replace the heater blower motor quickly and get our house heater running again. He also did some other inspections and minor cleaning (on the house) and let us know that in the future certain things may have issues but that were fine for now. Overall, I had a great experience with Miguel and Huft Home Services in general as everything was pretty straight forward with no pressure. I have also signed up for the yearly club membership as it appears to be of great value/deal in making sure our system keeps running for as long as it can. Once thanks again Miguel, I truly appreciate your assistance!

I contacted Huft to get a second bid for replacing my furnace and 30yr old ducting. They were very responsive and had good knowledge of what they were doing and were very competitive in their bid. They became my #1 choice. They did not disappoint and did a great job in their service and installation all the way through. They also redesigned the existing ducting for a much better airflow than the original. Great job Kris D., Wayne R. and the whole Huft team.

I called huft for a second oppinion after my first ac repair man told me my ac was low 3 pounds of freon and needed to check for leaks with a dye and sealent. Given the cost of freon i always like having a second oppinion to make me feel better about the freon needed. Huft was able to schedule me an appointment about 3 days after my call. They sent over a tech named David who came on time and inspected our AC unit. I HAVE TO SAY i was shock with Davids honesty, he found out that my ac unit was not low on freon at all and the only service needed was to replace my filters which i could do myself. I was already expecting to pay up to 500 dollars for the repair i thought i needed. David could have easily agreed with the first oppinion or even lowered the price of the service just to get something out of us, but instead after finding out my ac unit did not need anything he spent another 15 minutes checking other parts of the system just to make sure everything else worked. All i can say is in the time we live in i dont expect to get anything for free, this is the first time that ive ever gotten a service and actually felt bad that I ripped off the company because they did a service which cost them their time andd because they chose to be honest they did not earn anything from it. David could have charged us for the second oppinion at least and I would have been happy to pay since I saved 500 dollars that I was ready to pay. Now I know who to call and trust for my ac needs. If you want good service and feel great knowing youre paying only for what you need, i highly recomend this place!

The technician was on time and friendly, he introduced himself and stated what he will be doing today. He was clean and courteous, he preformed the maintenance services described and even installed a new air filter that we already had. We are pleased with our service.

Installation team was courteous and professional. They explained what was being installed and how to maintain it thoroughly. When they completed the installation they returned the house to the same or better condition than when they had arrived, cleaning the floors and vacuuming. They were considerate of our animals and ensured they were safe during installation.

From the moment I called the person on the phone was cheery and happy to help. The repair duo that came were great, nice and honest. When I called after the repair duo left because I had forgotten something they were very responsive and got right on my request. I will be keeping their number handy for future business.

Bonney charged 80 some odd dollars to inspect hvac. Dude didnt even go outside to unit! Just flicked thermostat on and off. Said he would is tall new unit for over 8,ooo.oo!!! WHAT? FORGET IT! He went to leave. Came back and said he could do repair on the side for 2000.00. Told him to get off my property. Referred to Huft. 500.00 later, working AC!!!

Our heater fan began to not work, right before Thanksgiving and the outdoor temperatures were getting into the low 30s. Great service. I submitted an online request in the evening after hours. By the morning they had emailed me a time for the technician to come out. They were on time, friendly, and very forth coming about the condition of my AC Unit. Luckily it was an easy fix, and the technician Austin was very professional, used precaution with safety and overall it was a good experience.

Chuc inspected my Heater & AC, and confirmed what other companies have already told me, which is the unit is very old and the repairs would be over half of what a new unit would cost. That is to say with the exception of any companies referred to me through my Home Warranty Plan, Old Republic. I kid you not! At this point Huft Home Services is more reasonable priced than all the other companies that have come gave me estimates. Most likely we will be going with Huft!

Our tenants advised of water coming in through the ceiling. We had this same issue in another home, so were pretty sure it was the A/C. I called Huft and they were able to get Andre out the same day. He did the repairs that needed to be done to fix the issue, and also recommended a flood switch that would prevent it from occurring again. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and able to get the entire job done in one appointment. The price was reasonable, and I will definitely use this company again if we have any HVAC issues in the future or need service.

Alex called to confirm he was on his way, and arrived ahead of schedule.He was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I had done some shopping around, for an HVAC re-haul: online and in-person quotes, and Alex answered all of our questions and provided several options.He also crafted the conversation in a no-pressure, how can we get you the right system, for the right price, approach.We also ended up purchasing a whole house fan in addition to a brand new A/C and furnace installation.The other guys ended up trying to up sell me and talk about a leak in my attic, which Alex confirmed was not true.I am looking forward to the install on Friday (what amazing turn around)!
