One of the the last shops with true mechanics. Very honest guys who don’t push unnecessary services. Walked in expecting to pay for a full alignment walked out only needing an oil change. These guys could have easily sold me a service I didn’t need and I would have been none the wiser. Their honesty has earned my business forever

This is the best car repair place in the region. The work is done quickly and well and at a reasonable price. I took my car to one place and was quoted a price of over $500 for something that CARS did for a little bit over $100. I will never take my car anywhere else.

Brought my car here because it wouldn’t start and they charged me $200 to replace spark plugs and it ended up still not starting later that night and I ended up replacing the starter which was the problem in the first place

I had a tire that had a tire with a slow leak. They took a look at it with no appointment, fixed it in under 40 minutes and had me back on the road for far less than I expected given I just showed up out of the blue. They were quite nice to work with and a lot of fun to chat with. Pretty cool shop, too. Ill be back for sure.

Given that this business had an near-5 star rating, I expected this to be a pretty good place. However, I was still pleasantly surprised at the level of service I received! The guys here are very professional, honest about what to expect, and dont try to upcharge you. I brought my vehicle in because I thought my engine was occasionally misfiring. They gave it a good inspection and found nothing wrong, which really helped my peace of mind. Whats more, they didnt charge me for the inspection! I asked if they could throw in an oil change and air filter replacement since they had my car, and they graciously did so. All told I paid $60 for an inspection, oil change, and air filter. Will definitely be back here for my car maintenance needs! Thanks guys!

Man these guys are the BEST! we were in a serious pinch, on our way up to grand marais from the twin cities. a squeaky wheel had us terrified we’d have to cancel our trip, but they squeezed us in right away and were able to fix the issue within 15 minutes. can’t recommend them enough - great customer service! 👍🏼👍🏼 thank you!!!!!

I was trying to get some work done in the woods with my Compact Tractor before a forecasted big snow. And, as things sometimes happen when youre in a rush, I had a front tire go flat -- bead off the rim. Hoping for a quick fix, to beat the storm, I brought the tire to Cars at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. Jeremy said hed try to get someone on it that day, and he did. He called back at 4:30 to tell me it was done. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience -- friendly attitude, great service, great price.

They knew what was causing my problems and fixed them perfectly.

Awesome staff. Very respectful and kind. Made sure I was getting the best possible product for my vehicle. Went in to get my battery tested and it turned out a needed a new one. The guys there were very honest and quick. I didnt spend more than 15 minutes there.

CARS is a people, not a place... (Mandatory nerd reference there.)But the sentiment is the same. Any shop can have great tools and prices, but at the end of the day you are relying on the person performing the job. Ive always had great service from Jeremy, John and their techs. The few times something was not right the first time they were more than happy to dig deeper and make it right. Prices are reasonable, work is solid, and people are great.Thanks CARS!

I feel very fortunate on this review. My wife & I were on vacation and our water pump was starting to make noises. We just happened to call them to see if they could get us in. CARS Complete Auto Repair had a very busy schedule. They promised us a completion time of late Thursday or Friday. I was fine with that. I had given them a prediagnosis that happened to be correct. It so happened that they got my car in same day and had it fixed. Jeremy and John knew I had to rent a car so I could get around. Increasing my repair cost, being that Im from out of town. I really appreciate them getting me in and a fast repair completed in the same day. Im not from here but, I have already told one person about you and if I hear of others. I wont any hesitation recommending them.

So far, Ive visited this establishment twice. Once was to repair a leaking gas line, and the other time I needed tires for my Explorer. They found me a wonderful tire that was on sale for half price. What would usually cost me $1,000 4 four new tires, they were able to install mounted and balanced for 550. Very friendly and helpful, and most importantly, honest, staff. Thats a quality you dont always find at an auto repair. 2 thumbs way up!

This is the place to bring your car if it needs some work done. These guys are honest, efficient, and very friendly. They made me feel 100% comfortable and I knew my car was in good hands. I wasnt sure where to take my car for brake service, but chose CARS after reading so many five-star google reviews. Theyve earned these stars! They fixed up my car promptly and took care to explain what work they completed and why. I appreciated their prompt attention and respect for someone who clearly knows very little about cars.

Of course my car wouldn’t start in the coldest day of the year. Called CARS and they were here quickly and got my car started. It really says something about the company that the owner of the shop, John, was the one out in the cold jumping cars today. Have also had my car serviced here a few times and always a positive experience and a fair price!

Great to work with. Use quality parts that last and reasonably priced. Put brakes on my Jeep and they’re still going strong ... it’s been about a year and my daughter drives down town frequently

Cars auto is good, very good. Very professional. Experienced mechanics.

Called CARS in the morning and they fit me in to replace my brakes, rotors, calipers and had my car done by lunch. The work was fantastic and staff make you feel like family. Its hard to trust taking my car anywhere else.

This review is long over due. I am so happy with my experience at CARS and the service that John Archer provided to me. I desperately needed new tires and John suggested the all season Toyos. I cant express enough how much I love them. I drive an AWD vehicle and these babies have been excellent. Not only did he recommend tires that he felt were safe enough for his daughter and wife to have on their vehicles but he also was able to get me in the shop within a couple days and out the door in 45 mins. I am very grateful for the security I have on the road and incredibly pleased with the service. I will absolutely shop with CARS again and service my car there when needed here. Top Notch. CARS auto repair is excellent! I called in for an oil change at 1pm and they fit me in for 445pm that day. It took only 15-20 minutes to get in and out! Friendly and efficient!

Researched many auto repair facilities before deciding to bring my vehicle to CARS. They exceeded my expectations with their professional and straight forward approach - no hassle, no run around. Great work and overall great experience.

My brother has had his car there for over 6 mo paid for service and still has not gotten back. This place is fixing other cars before his. I have never heard of service this bad in my life. He tried picking it up after seeing it outside not being worked on and gave them numerous days notice when he did battery dead car not put back together vehicle out of gas and not put back together all the way. I wouldnt bring a vechicle to be worked on there if my life depended on it what scammers
