These guys were very quick honest and affordable. I didn’t really understand a lot of the mechanics talk but he was happy to talk to my dad about the car. Will come here for future fixes. The only issue I had was I could not find the building my first time through and drove right past it bc a tree branch covers the sign. It is one of the first buildings on left. Thanks merfeld bros!

I know so little about the depth of Dubuque. So I asked for a referral from the guys at the Veterans Freedom Center, and was told to try Merfeld. Lets face it, major repairs are not a good subject, but they made it as painless as they could. Id recommend them to anyone.

Mark Merfeld is a life-saver! He was so generous to help me on Christmas Eve as we were visiting relatives in Dubuque for the holiday. At about 2pm my truck started having problems so I called him to see if he could get me in. He said to come in right away and he would take a look at it for me. Who does that on Christmas Eve? He ordered the parts needed that day and I was up and running again in no time at all. My family uses the Merfeld Brothers for all of their automotive needs. They always give them honest diagnostics on what is wrong and dont overcharge for anything. Its nice to know there are still businesses like this around. I will be happy to drive from Waterloo to have work done in Dubuque by these guys. Thanks so much Mark!
