Called this place and described my car problem. The guy who I spoke with gave me an estimate over the phone to fix it. We made an appointment for the following Saturday at 9:00 AM. and he said that he would meet me there. I brought my car in for the appointment, the person at the counter was not. the person who I spoke to. He said that I was not on the schedule , said that they were booked and that if I wanted to I could wait in the shop until late in the afternoon to get my car in. Really??I had emailed the business to complain and received no responsewoukd not recommend this shop to anyone!

We moved to Ohio in 2013 and Boy-Rad has been our go to place for tires, tire rotations, brakes, and oil changes. The staff has always been polite and friendly. We prefer to drop off the night before so that our vehicle is first in line for morning service. We see them every 5 thousand miles.

The family here has been taking care of me and my sisters cars since we were in high school and they always make sure our cars are running as they should. When we bring it in with a problem or concern they work their hardest to fix the issue properly all while keeping you posted on anything else they find and a timeline of when things need to be fixed. They are always helpful and kind. Thank you for always helping us with our cars and helping us keep up with the maintenance!

I went to them few years ago and they went above and beyond. The shop was closed and I was going to be stranded with a flat because discount tire or whatever they are called in Pickerington on 256 left me out there. I made it to Dublin and the person waited for me. Had not gone back until a few months ago and they have not changed. I always recommend them.

While Im no mechanic I know how to work on cars. While Im no car salesman Ive sold a lot of cars. Ive dealt with cars and the industry for 50 plus years especially mechanics and mechanic shops. Ive been going here for the last two years and I have yet to have one bad experience. I believe theyre Fair and treat you good and are honest.

Stop looking for where to get car work done! This place is the spot. We’ve been living in the area for 3 years and tried different companies but none have given me the confidence of Boy Rad. Veteran technicians, phenomenal prices, fast service, and honest hard working people. I’m relieved to have found these guys. Don’t go anywhere else. Plus they have the old school candy vending machines and $0.50 soda machine so make sure you bring $1 in quarters.

My wife called me about 10 minutes before every tire shop in Powell closed due to covid hours. Thankfully the kind lady still answered the phone so close to closing time. I explained my wife had a nail in her tire and needed to drive 30 minutes to make it home. They agreed to still take care of my wifes tire after hours. They will be getting all of our tire business from now on. Again a sincere thank you.

Seriously the best people you could ever work with. The entire staff is friendly communicators; they really look out for and care about their customers. They will never ask you to fix something that doesnt need to be fixed, even if you really thought there was something wrong. I have been coming here for years for oil changes and maintenance and I cannot recommend them enough.

Extremely honest place. Years ago my car wouldnt start, had it towed there, and they determined it was a glitch in the security system. Got it started, told me about the glitch, and didnt charge me a thing. Just recently they warned me about spending so much on repairing my car, wondered if it was worth it. I appreciated that they cared more about my finances than their own. I will always get my car repaired there.

Amazed at how awesome they are here. They do the best work at the most affordable prices! One time I came in willing to pay for a completely new tire. They charged me only $12 and said all it needed was a patch and that most of the damage on it was just cosmetic. Most places would have taken my money and ran but they never do.Also the oil changes are less than half the price of Valvoline.

LOVE this place! Always treated fairly and get good service. They even sent me back to the dealership for some warranty work when my car was newer when they couldve fixed problem themselves and charged me for it (I never wouldve been the wiser). Fact that theyre looking out for my best interest like this was refreshing!

The service is phenomenal. They are very personable, and will show you exactly what is going on with your vehicle, both the good and the bad. They care about the quality of the product that they are putting in your vehicle, not just the cheapest thing to increase their bottom line (like many dealerships are more inclined to do). My girlfriends family knew them, so I came here on their recommendation, and now I would like to pass mine on to you. Weve been bringing in trucks for used car inspections before purchasing them, and theyve saved us twice already from making the wrong decision, showing us the deal-breaking issues each time. Were still searching, and will be bringing every car were interested in here before buying them, no exceptions. Once I do decide on a vehicle, I will be bringing it here for any maintenance it may need for as long as I am in Ohio, and possibly even neighboring states. They are that good, and honestly, I would probably be giving them more stars if I could, because they deserve a better rating than they currently have. They are simply fantastic!

Great staff. Great service.I had a screw in my tire. They took me in 15 mins before closing and had me out the door in 10 minutes after fixing my tire.

I dropped my vehicle off for tire repair. I mentioned the shifter was stiff because its an old truck. I went to pick the truck up and the shifter lever was completely broken, I couldnt even take the truck out of park and the shifter lever was hitting the steering wheel. I go inside and tell the manager they broke my vehicle and I cant drive it now, she says I brought the truck in when it was broken. I drove the truck there. The mechanic broke the shifter then lied to management and said it was broken when I brought the vehicle in. Untrustworthy incompetence by the mechanics, I regret bringing my vehicle here for service. If you break someones vehicle do the right thing and own up to it.

Apparently the cables to my battery needed tightened. $100. Only gave more than one star because they did accomplish the goal of getting it to start and it hasn’t died or had problems yet. But really? $100?

I needed their services a couple of times. Im not a regular customer ( but WILL Be in the future), and they treated me as if I brought all 20 vehicles to them for service ( I only have 3, and one is a motorcycle.They know that Service is the right thing, at the right place, at the right time !

Good, honest auto service. Prices cheaper than dealership, but have used OEM parts and quality supplies on all work Ive had done here.I have not had a single bad experience in over 10 years of them servicing my Toyota, VW, Honda, GM and Subaru vehicles.

Brought my mini van here for a flat tire. Had already ordered a new tire through them but, when I arrived they inspected my vehicle they told me it didnt need a new tire. They were able to patch my tire for about $13 rather then paying $250 for a brand new tire!!! Huge help and very, very friendly! Thank you!

Simply the worst company I have ever dealt with. Dishonest, non accommodating and rude. I got ripped off after buying new tires that were full of problems. Tires were replaced with two used tires with holes in them. Broke my tire pressure monitoring system and refused to fix it. Called to complain and got hung up on. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. plenty of other reputable options out there.

They were very kind and eager to help get me in as soon as they could, but unfortunately...I took my car in for one issue, and left with a new issue. When I took my car over at 9:30am there were no noticable issues with the breaks. When I picked the car up right around noon, same day, the breaks were almost not there at all. The break light came on and I had to press all the way down to even get it to register the breaking...I was already time crunched to get to class then straight to work, so I did not have the time to turn around and go right back. While the car sat on the side of the road in front of my house, it looked like the whole inside fluids of the car had dumped onto the road. This is disappointing because they were so kind, and it may have not been anything they did. But I left there with a very big apparent problem that was not previously there.

I have used them for 16 years. They never fix things that arent broken and they give you options to save money. They will squeeze you in if they can.

Dont bring custom wheel setups here. They wont mount your tires unless they are the same size as the manual.

Service is meant for customer satisfaction. I got check engine light ON in my Honda Accord car and did OBD check using my own OBD scanner tool and came up with P0456 code (EVAP small leak) (Did own scan to avoid little few bucks) and informed Ron(Bill desk) about the issue I have.I agree they may need to do there own testing to ensure that code is right. However if customer gives some details already you may skip those basic tests and do through test (In my case smoke test), to make customer happy, after all they got to do what customer wants.This center didnt even discuss a word about the issue code which I brought to them, rather they told me that they have to do a detailed scanning to find exact problem cause off this issue (I assumed they would do the scanning for exact problem) and they want my car to be dropped and it would take approximately 5hrs, later Mike (chief mechanic) called me with in 3 hrs (thinks that he did the job less than their committed timelime) and suggested to change the gas cap which may caused the problem (They are not certain about the problem either), however if the engine light shows up again he told that he would do another test, so I authorized Mike to change my gas cap, believing that another test is part of this diagnostic exercise.At the end of the day when I saw the receipt they have duly noted that I may need smoke test which would cost another $79.99. My question is if you couldnt find the exact problem with the payment I did for scanning why you want to charge me 60$ (Including a gas cap ) and asking me to do another test which would find the exact cause, and why you wouldnt do it in first place when I mentioned the same EVAP error code P0546? are you telling me to tell me back the same error is charged with 45$, does it seems to be right?Next day experience on NTB------------------------------------------I went to NTB near tuttle crossing blvd after this bad experience with Goodyear in sawmill road ( I dont want to drop my car at goodyear for doing smoke test to pay again), I mentioned the error code to NTB and they were very attendive and asked few question whether I did fill gas recently and missed to close the gas cap tight, etc.. (didnt even see my car, all these questions just from the code I have mentioned) and then they suggested a smoke test (based on my response for there questions) which would be best option to get the leak detail in evap system and they wanted me to schedule an appointment for smoke test anytime just calling them.. how about this response ?

Terrible service, called for a quote, refused to do so because I didnt buy the part from them. All I wanted was a trailer hitch installed. 20 mins of labor tops. Offered a link to the full video guide on how to install this hitch to my car from the manufacturer, Mike refused because they could have done it wrong.

They got right on the slow leaking tire. Had it fixed in 20 minutes or so.

Terrible Service, totally terrible. Mike, the mechanist there basically suggests each time that the car cannot be driven and might need a tow-truck, He did that to me once and again, this second time, I was with my friend and he told same to his car too. I am so disappointed that despite being a regular customer, they tried to rip me off. Never ever going to that place again.
