My disastrous journey started with Easton Marshall/Auto Tran 8/20. I purchased a 2013 Dodge/Journey 5/20 with 150K miles. In Aug. it started having problems. I took it to Auto Tran, he had previously worked on another vehicle. I was told it needed a new engine. When I took the deposit for engine, he asked abt the transmission. I did not know, he said, he would test drive it to see if it was needed. I should have known something was wrong then because apparently, he did not test drive it to determine if an engine was needed. He determine the engine was needed based on miles only. Told transmission was needed. Paid a discounted price $4K for rebuild engine/transmission. It has been downhill since. From Aug. to January the engine was replaced 3 times. The suv was taken back every other week. He would keep it for 6-8 weeks a # of times. Stating days it would be ready, changing his word numerous times. The service was horrible. There was a 1yr warranty on engine. When I took it back, he would say I damage the engine hitting a bump in road, it was fiberglass underneath suv, it break easy or if I told him, I ran over a small bump in road suv rattled, he turn it and say I ran in a ditch, I damaged it. I took it to several others dealer/mechanics/shops, some would refuse to touch because of the quality of work. The transmission, he could not get right after returning numerous times. Two shops would not touch. Suggested I return it back to him. I had to have someone else replace the transmission for $3K.Still continued to have problems with engine. Had oil changed, 6 quarts put in Tues morning by next morning Wed no oil in engine. No oil in engine occured 2 times. First time no oil/making noise, I was told by other shops engine was needed. Took it back to Auto Tran under 1 yr warranty. He said it was the c/converter, changed it and I paid. Second time with no oil/making noise, he stated engine was needed and said he would pay half. I reminded him it was under warranty til 8/27/21. This was in July. He stated it had been a year, I reminded him it had not. He had the suv for over 6 weeks. Changed engine, I was given days it would be ready, changed numerous times. Got the call another engine was needed because same noise was heard. Two engines in 2 months/5 engines in 12 months. He think, he was doing me a favor taking all the cost, thus it was under warranty.Suv was picked up 9/15/21 5pm. Twenty-four hours later exactly 5pm it would not start. When he was contacted, he told me, I cant blame him for everything that happens to the suv/engine. Thats when I informed him, I would write this review. When the tow truck driver checked suv, he found the starter wire was reconnected on the c/converter side which resulted in it being burned due to converter getting hot. Therefore, it would no longer start. Reconnected to the wrong side. Who, am I to blame? I am a business owner myself and I know a bad review is not what you want. I rarely read or write reviews, but in this case, I feel it is warranted. Easton Marshall/Auto Tran, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS SHADE TREE. He has cost me thousands of $s in repairs/Lyfts/Turos. What you see at his establishment (JUNK) is what you get with his repairs/service (JUNK).I was recommended by family, their experience has been the same.Black establishment/Black Female.Update: 10/4/21 Once again suv did not have oil, was told a new engine is needed. There was no seal; therefore, when the oil was changed on Tuesday, by Saturday there was no oil in suv. Suv started knocking.

I found the head mechanic, Marshall, to be honest and very forthcoming in regards to fixing my car. Fair pricing and does what he says he will do. I will definitely go here again or recommend this place to others.
