We visited Destin from San Fran and i was shocked to see the taxi service in this small town, every cab we got in to smelled like smoke and looked like junk. Ahmad gave myself and 4 others a cab ride back from Baytown Wharf. Our house was 4.5 miles away and he charged us $45. When we asked for him to explain the rate (considering we had taken other taxis longer distances for less) he wouldnt and refused to budge. DONT USE THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Absolutely terrible company. Driver ripped us off. Went 4.4 miles in our taxi to Bay Town but he charged us the rate for 8 miles. The driver couldnt even explain it, but still when we called him out on it he wouldnt budge. Do not give this company any of your money.

Avoid if you are a tourist! We traveled from the Sheraton in Ft. Walton to just over the bridge into Destin (~8 minutes). Total for two passengers was $30 before tip. I was shocked and asked why and the driver mumbled some random pricing (which didnt add up). We asked the bar tender later and she said that yes, some companies just make up arbitrary prices to get tourists. She recommended a diff. company who, for the same ride, charged $14.Unless you like being taken advantage of, call a different company!

Our driver offered to stop for food or refreshments on the way, which was nice but we declined, anxious to get to our hotel.
