Great establishment I will be using them in the future. Although parking was very limited you can alway park by the dock through a secret passage lol. It’s attached to the restaurant but behind it. Brock was great I called the same day to book (sept) he was very helpful at explaining everything when we got back they were ready for us to help us dock the pontoon. The hostess lady wasn’t helpful and told us we could park at gallanti and when we asked Brock he said don’t so I’m not sure who RO believed but we moved the care just in case it would get towed.

Had the best day ever in Destin. Service was exquisite. They went above and beyond in everything. Taylor was our deck hand and made the cast off and return perfect. The boats were exceptionally clean and new. WILL only go back to this boat rental from now on.

Easy booking online, walked right up and signed the necessary paperwork. Waited about 10 minutes for a deckhand, Brock, and he loaded us all on the boat. Boat was clean and spacious. Brock was great and even filled us up with ice! We had a great time! Definitely recommend Tailfins!

Site claims boats are brand new. Our boat had ducttape on both the Arm rest but what really upset me is the radio speakers did not work.It wasnt a good experience. 😕 But we made the best out of my Cellphone speaker.

Amazing staff! They have their act together. I had to cancel because a cold front came through the area. The cancellation process was super easy and their professionalism was outstanding

We had Captain Tollie and she was fantastic! We had such a blast! Saw dolphins, went to crab island and she took us to a neat outdoor restaurant that we would have never found!

We usually use Luthers and wish we would have. There was only one deckhand and we didn’t get on our boat until 15 mins after our departure. They didn’t clean or refill not after the group before us. They told us registration and manuals under steering wheel and they weren’t. We couldn’t get the speakers to work via Bluetooth or Aux cord and no manual for assistance. When I mentioned the fact they didn’t clean or refill our boat and we were fifteen minutes behind there was no offer to help or even an apology. They had me tip before hand saying the deckhand would carry stuff to and from your car. None of that happened. We carried everything both directions. Stick with Luther’s. If Tail fins contacts me to try to remedy this in anyway I’ll update this review. If they don’t that speaks for itself. 6/10/2021

The boat was pretty clean, the staff were nice and Tyler was very funny. Will rent again whenever I come back to Destin.

Highly recommend the mahi mahi taco. The grouper was flavorful. Didnt care for the crab no flavor and over cooked.

Great food, great location, great family atmosphere. Also, good hangout for the bozs(sports bar 😉). That night there was a one man band live show. Not that good though. Hubby and I was on a Christmas getaway where we honeymoon the whole time. We only came out for food. Thats how we ended up at Tail Fins for the first time. We placed a to-go-order of shrimp alfredo and a side of buffalo wild wings. Food was pricey but delicious. Worth the experience.

Rented a pontoon boat with the family. Eliza was super helpful over the phone and got us set up for a 1/2 day. We had so much fun! Boat was clean and in good working order. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. Water was gorgeous.

Please be careful when asking these guys to charge your account. Make sure they give you a receipt! I ask them to put 150 on my debit card and my sister paid 160 cash, they charged my card 250 instead. I called as soon as I seen it on my bank, called them four times each time they say they will credit my account, also left two voicemails and emails. They have yet to credit my account. Thought I gave them a 100 dollar tip not counting the 32 dollar tip I also gave them. They tell me the manager will call me to confirm my account will be credited. I have yet to receive a refund!

One of the best experiences Ive had in a while. Me and two of my buddies had an awesome time and caught a bunch of different kinds of fish. The guide was super cool and put us right on them several times. All we had to do was show up (with beer) and be ready to catch some big fish!!!

Looking for a place to grab a quick bite..hopped in here. Unique place for sure..Tanya ordered a Rum Runner said it was awesome..ordered some oysters, raw and baked, both were really good. Ordered grilled mahi and lobster tail..very good for sure..a little pricey meal but was good..

Food was great, service was ok. I had the dinner salad so i cant really tell about the main foods, but the presentation was really cool. Just a little heads up, the fries are steak cut but in funny looking shapes. Still amazing 4 stars.

Food was absolutely to die for. This restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and an expansive menu. Prices are reasonable and service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to locals of the area and visitors as well. You dont want to miss this one.

It was my first time on a pontoon boat and I really enjoyed the experience with my family. Dakota was very helpful in preparing us and helping load and unload the boat. Tailfins had the best price, parking was super convenient, service was great, the boat was in good condition and easy to navigate. We all had a great time. I highly recommend them.

We recently rented a pontoon on Saturday with Tailfins Pontoon Rentals, and we had a great experience. We called ahead to book the pontoon, and the associate over the phone was very nice and professional. Once we arrived early Saturday morning, the process to check in was very smooth. Every associate who helped us was very nice and accommodating. They even inflated our inflattables. The pontoon itself was clean and included bluetooth speakers. We had a fantastic time, and plan on renting with Tailfins again.

My friends and I were planning a vacation this weekend. The initial prices were enticing... They were a good bit less than other available boats. The person we talked said they did not have the capability to take our credit card information but took our full contact information. We started to call Thursday to confirm our rental for Saturday. No one ever answered the phone and the voicemail box was full. We continued to call Friday, at least 10 times, with no answer. And no on ever called to confirm. We decided to contact another boat rental place because we were not sure we would have a boat on Saturday. Well... On Saturday morning at 9:30 we received a call asking if we were coming to pick up our boat( our original reservation time was 9) we tried to explain we tried to confirm our reservation earlier in the week but didnt get an answer so we werent sure if we had a boat but was interrupted by the caller by saying I didnt ask you that, are you picking up the boat. Needless to say we did not get the boat and would not recommend to anyone trying to plan a trip.

One of my favorites! This was our 1st time and we loved it and will go back. The view was amazing our server was new but she was great! I highly recommend trying.

Great service during a busy holiday week! Our pontoon boat was ready, they helped us load and unload. The whole experience was effortless! I would give it 5 stars but the boats are beat up, torn upholstery which is not comfortable to sit on, broken doors/ladders, definitely not the newest you can rent. But hey, its a rental not a purchase! It would be nice is a paddle board was included in the rate! Will be back though!

Boats are not maintained as well as they could be. Our boat was dirty and trash was left behind. Good location and nice staff. Prices are average compared to other companies. Overall satisfactory experience.

We were scheduled to take a pontoon out and the guy never showed up. We called over and over and he never responded. We had to find something else to do because of weather . We do not recommend this place .

Had plenty of free parking. Our boat was very clean and ran well. The staff were great.

Do not rent pontoons from here. Multiple boats are missing the bottom half of the swimming ladder. It made it impossible for young kids and adults to enter back in to the boat. I had someone push me from behind to get enough leverage to pull myself up the ladder. When I called the attendant at the office, he said he wasnt aware it was missing and he would get one ordered. After returning to the dock later in the day, I observed other pontoons missing the bottom half of there ladder also. The attendant at the desk seemed nice and he was short handed. He was doing contracts and boat walk-arounds by himself in the AM. He had told us the one employee quit with no notice and moved back to SC.To the owners making 10K a month per boat for 250 to 450 a day rentals, spend 100.00 on the missing lower ladders. Also, get your help some more help and try to be more proactive with your business!Your employee did try to refund part of my rental for the day. That wasnt what I was after. I wanted what I paid for, which was a new 2017 pontoon with a complete ladder while spending the day at crab island!!!!

The food was frickin AWEsome! We had the best fried oysters weve ever had! EVER!!! Everyone, including the super-picky 5 y.o., LOVED their food & drinks! My son & I usually order the fishermans platter at seafood restaurants w/the expectation that most of it will be okay to good & probably the fish will suck, HOWEVER, EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FOOD ON THE PLATTER WAS AMAZEBALLS! Seriously! Including the fish! & My mudslide was reeeeally delish, too! &, our server, JoJo, had us laughing so hard we were crying & our cheeks were cramping! He was great! We were all so grateful the wait for AJs was 2 hrs b/c Tailfins & JoJo became a must-do to add to our fam tradition! It wouldnt hurt my feels to eat there every nt!

We go to Destin a couple of times per year and love to go to Crab Island. Never had any problems with rental services till i rented from this guys. Pontoon Broke down and we waited over 2 hours for someone to come tow us back to the dock. Wont recommend!

Awesome fun on the harbor on the pontoon boat from Tailfinss Pontoons. I highly recommend them. We had a bachelorette party and then had dinner and drinks after a great harbor trip. I highly recommend them! Great service and fun!!!

Horrible business! Our family of 10 had scheduled a pontoon boat a week in advance. We where supposed to meet Broc at the tailfins establishment at 9am. Upon arriving 30 minutes early we called Broc and got no answer. Then called every 15 to 20 minutes for the next hour to find out what was going on. No phone call was ever returned and we where just left out with no pontoon boat. We spoke with the manager inside of tailfins who said he knew Broc and said it was unacceptable and that he would make it right. And never recieved any calls or text back about how we where going to do that. Alen was the managers name. I do not reccomend doing business with this establishment! Take your money to a better business.

We love renting from Tailfins boat rentals and don’t rent from anywhere else after living in Destin for five years. Jason is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and will bend over backward to make sure your day on the water is perfect! The dock was replaced recently and there is lots of seating on the dock to fill out necessary paperwork beforehand. We go out with our kids and they are always helpful in hauling our belongings to the boat and back. Look no further and rent from Tailfins!

A bit pricey for an early bird special. Service was great though.

Went in for shrimp and oysters and left with two broken teeth. NEVER going back or eating oysters again unless they are smoked in a can. Comped the oysters but honestly the cost both our meals wont even cover the dentist fixing my teeth. The server just kept excusing it though was apologetic but seriously where was management...SAD business practices and worse oysters Ive EVER eaten.
