Called to schedule a service visit to get a second opinion on an evaporator coil issue. They got me scheduled next day which was a pleasant surprise. Douglas was the service tech and he was absolutely top notch! He arrived promptly and was professional and courteous the entire time. I called Douglas HVAC Mechanical on Sunday early evening, as I just wanted an opinion on why my a/c was leaking on to the filter. He told me that he needed to see for himself what the problem was, and that he would come out on Monday morning, which he did. He checked my a/c unit and told me that he thought that I might be low on freon, which could be the problem of why it was leaking. We went outside and sure enough, when he hooked up his gauge, he was right, as the freon was very low. Since adding the freon, I have not had any more leaks. He called me the next morning and wanted to know if there were any more leaks. I was so amazed at his following up on my a/c! He is incredible, as I have NEVER had an a/c repair man call me back to check to see if anything was leaking anymore! He is such a polite gentleman and his price for the service was in a good range, as I have been ripped off by other a/c companies in the past. I highly recommend Douglas HVACfor any a/c repairs. I had an AC emergency, and I reached out to Douglas. He was at my investment property within 30 minutes. He diagnosed and repaired the unit on the spot, leaving it up and running and my home cool.Outstanding job thank you very much for your service.

Had Doug come out to check on my AC unit as it was not running cold enough. He looked for leaks in my system and tried to tell me he can’t find a leak after looking for about 1/2 hour. He fills up my Freon at $600 and tell me that’s he can’t find a leak. After I state there must be leak if you’re filling the Freon? He then double backs and says he’ll be back in the morning with a new device. He then magically find Freon oil everywhere and needs to replace the coil. I don’t trust him from my experience! Spent $1600 to fix my AC to have it leak water on my ceiling with 0 water in pan or drain line clogged Within a couple of weeks of him fixing my unit. I have him come out, I go up to see what he’s doing and he is ripping up my attic insulation to clean his hands! I asked him do you need a paper towel and to stop using my insulation and a hand cleaner! He then gets an attitude with me! Unprofessional
