Mr Satterfield was very nice and accommodating when we had to get our car towed to his shop early on this Thursday morning on the way to the airport. Needless to say we missed our flight. They made us very comfortable and offered us food and drinks while we waited for my cousin to come pick us up from Birmingham. Very honest and down to earth. Clean shop, awesome people. Wouldnt take anything to them ever again...paid to have key switch fixed..tail lights and blinkers...I was told truck was ready and everything fixed after several weeks...I paid 700 for it when I went to leave tail lights and blinkers do not work... i specifically ask before I drove from North Carolina back down to Alabama to pick it up if those things were addressed in fixed I was assured everything was fixed in it was ready to go it was not... I cannot drive at night time with no taillights I also had to be at work the next morning so I was advised to stay down there in come back in the morning when the owners brother would take care of it..so I had to pay and get a motel room out of my own pocket and miss a days work that is $500 for me...when I came back the next morning he said his technician was out he didnt know why it wasnt fixed... That was not the answer I was looking for... i was asked if I could leave it there for about another month...I left and decided to try drive home make it before dark... I decided to go get some fuses and look under the dash and under the hood I fixed the taillights in the blinkers in 10 minutes myself... So I basically paid for it be fixed and had to fix it myself...no reimbursement for any labor or anything from them....

They have been in business for decades for a reason. They are good at what they do. My grandfather used them and I do as well. They are not cheap but you pay extra for the skill and professionalism. Their parts and labor are top notch. I definitely recommend them if you want quality work done. They are not the cheap guy around the corner.

I was alone and had a flat tire, but couldn’t make it to Satterfield before the tire went completely flat. I called Satterfield and within 5 minutes they sent someone to fix the flat. When we got to Satterfield’s they had a new tire ordered to be there the next day. I’m so thankful there is a trustworthy shop in Decatur!

My car broke down on Christmas Eve as I was driving home for the holidays. When this group of good ol boys saw my out of state license plate... they came through for me even as busy as they were. They also had my car done in less than 2-3 hrs. They made my Christmas forsure!!!!!! 10-10 I would recommend!!!!!

Mr. Mike and crew fixed my diesel dually..quickly and the price was extremely reasonable being ut was a 6.6 turbo diesel..I highly recommend Satterfields for all makes and models..

Bought a truck from James a couple weeks ago. All repairs were done to it prior to it being sold, the price was very fair, and the truck does its job well. He is extremely honest and kind.

My 2002 car is in fairly good shape, but when Ive gotten maintenance done at Satterfields, I seems to always get the upper bound of any estimate. Several times they did not express any desire to do repairs for my car, maybe because its a Mazda or that its over 6 years old. They do a lot of business, and are good to regulars. Might want to look elsewhere if you have an older car or high mileage vehicle.

I would recommend Satterfields to any one. They treat you right and dont pull any punches!

This is my go to place in town. Fast and friendly service, have used them multiple times with zero complaints. They have never left me stranded as I dont have an alternate vehicle to drive. They have always gone above and beyond for me.They are an infinitely better alternative to the dealerships which take a week just to diagnose, leave you stranded and charge astronomical prices.

I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on my truck!

The Satterfields are fine people and likely the most experienced and knowledgeable car and trucks folks in North Alabama. I highly recommend them for personal or commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.Rarely do businesses continue operating as long as they have. They are still around for a reason, and that reason is treating people fairly and doing a good job. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

These people may be professionals, but the repair prices are also high. Especially if you get a vehicle towed in. They made me pay a fee for just having the car on the lot. Made me pay a tow fee on top of that. As well as a diagnosis fee, but never made me pay a fix it fee because I never got that far. Before they even worked on my car i was already up in 160$ Then they tried charging me 600$ just to replace an electric radiator cooling fan. So 760$ Thats outrageous. I paid the 160, took my vehicle a couple miles down the road and had it fixed for 220$

As the owner of a local company it has been a great experience having our company auto repairs performed at Satterfields auto tech! They are extremely accurate on diagnosis and the prompt turn around time on the repairs allows us to stay current on accounts! Thank you Satterfields auto.

They gave me a price over the phone to fix it and then when they were done they charged me 1/3 more. When I asked them about it they got mad and started calling me a liar. It was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I googled the price of the part they replaced and it was significantly cheaper than what they charged me. Dont ever go here!!
