I am happy to say that I got great service from Eastern Propane when I called to get help figuring out how to protect my elderly parents who have a gas stove. It was time for me to be certain the gas was shut off whenever I wasnt present to monitor their safety and I needed advice about shut off valves and such. Ben, a service technician, arrived right on time and was respectful of myself and my parents as he responded to my questions. We arrived at the best solution. Then I asked him while he was here to check for leaks. He explained the testing as he did it and confirmed no leaks, then gave a few safety tips. He discovered the tank was low and ordered a delivery that came later the same day.All in all my experience with Eastern Propane has been very positive over the last 5 years. I am grateful to Ben for his expertise, experience and care.

I am a new customer of Eastern Propane and Oil, so this was my first interaction with them. Setting up an appointment was quick and painless. Robert Day out of the Danvers, Massachusetts office brought his truck to fill my propane tanks. He had them topped off in five minutes! Quick and easy service.

I have two accounts with eastern gas one is for the pool and other one is for the addition on my house. during the winter when i call for a fill up on the addition tanks they come a fill the pool tanks. I been with them for 8 years and its happens every time i call in for a fill up. They need to better train their drivers on things like that. When i call the poor person on the phone keeps saying sorry about it.I am thinking about changing companies like they say in baseball three strikes you are out , let me see what happens this year.

I’ve been using eastern propane for 3 yrs now I only can say good things about them My plumber could not figure out my brand new heating system so Easton sent out the technician and got it dialed in it runs perfectly service is excellent they put a device on my tank that lets them know when my tank is low and they automatically come to fill it up I don’t not need to call. The drivers name is Bob he is very courteous and respectful when he comes on to my property making sure that the truck is parked in the right spot I’m very happy with them

Eastern Propane is a great company. Anytime I’ve called with questions they’ve always been friendly and knowledgeable.A few months ago we thought we had a propane leak. We love Eastern! We had Eric out yesterday to install a part in our furnace. He called before he came and gave me enough time to get home(so I wasn’t stuck waiting all day like most service companies) He also helped us determine weather or not we needed a line flushed to our hot water heater. Whenever we have needed emergency help, Eastern has always come through for us, even late at night when we had no heat in the winter, they came out and were able to fix it! I highly recommend them.

I have been dealing with Eastern Propane for years and they are by far the best place to buy and service my propane needs. The towns also like to work with Eastern Propane because they are very professional and know what they are doing. My sales rep Michael McDermott always gets back to me in a timely manor and is very easy to deal with. Ben was so helpful and kind. Felt so horrible he be outside in the storm. Ben came after regular business hours around 9pm. I had reported the call and how I tried to troubleshoot the problem. Ben had promptly called with an ETA and came right on time. Tried multiple ways to fix the problem inside then took the job outside. Ben was very kind and considerate to my mother (who is a recent transplant recipient) of not tracking the snow in the house or coming in and out.So grateful my child and mother can now get a good nights sleep now and be warm. We have used Eastern Propane for the last 10 years. They always provide top notch service and fair pricing. Any time we have had an issue (smell gas, broken meter gauge ) they always arrive quickly and solve problem. From the person that answers the phone to the technician that arrives...everyone is professional and personable.

We just used Eastern to convert from oil to propane. Very good experience!! The team lead by Eric was knowledgeable, updated us on the progress as needed and was very accommodating. Finished up as anticipated. It was a complex install in a 1690s basement.My only concern was there may have been a communication breakdown between the sales team and the implementation team on a couple of details, but it all worked out!

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with the level of service and professionalism displayed by Norm Pelletier. Reported the smell of gas in the house and Ben from Eastern was at the house within the hour. He did a very careful inspection and found two separate leaks which he quickly fixed. Was a great experience.

Called for service of my Rinnai heater. The technician came and within 20 minutes determined that parts were needed and had to be ordered. The next day I was billed $280 dollars for two hours labor to repair my heater. I called to complain and had to wait considerable time on hold, in order to speak to someone. After being transferred to the service manager, he reduced the bill to $100, their minimum service charge. The heater was subsequently repaired by their super competent technician, Norm, and an appropriate bill was issued for the repairs.

I dont know what people expect, but Eastern has treated me fine for the 10 years theyve serviced me.When we purchased our house, we inherited a tank which fuels a range. We own the tank and are on a will call, which puts us in the minority of most users and likely requires a bit more effort on their part. They also were helpful when I relocated my tank (new Federal rules required the move).If you understand how the industry operates, then you shouldnt have any issues with Eastern. I work with them just as I do with my heating oil provider (and auto mechanic) and have had no problems.

Eastern Propane just converted our antique oil heating system to propane. Eric Pelletier and Chuck DeLorenzo did a great job. They were efficient, knowledgeable, considerate and friendly, and completed the job on schedule. They also went the extra mile to help solve the problem of a blocked sink next to the installation site, for which I was very grateful! Thanks, guys!

Had them install and plumb dual tanks for new pool heater, after messing around with the heater for nearly 2 hours tech told me the heater was broken and tried to charge me extra for trouble shooting the unit.... he waived it after I pointed out it would work better if he turned the gas valve on first. Late fall I called for an additional 100 gallons of propane for the pool heater... they put all 100 gallons in one tank and shut off the 2nd tank... effectively making it useless, one tank will not vaporize fast enough... starves the heater... not very bright. Lastly, i was past due $122.on the tank that serves my stove and dryer. My bad. They did place a nice reminder notice stuffed in the bottom of my mailbox that I did find until the day before they shut off the tank... So kids in wet clothes and take out food for the next 5 days while they make special arrangements to turn the tank on for an addition $90 charge... An effing phone call would have been nice. Shopping for new propane company.

(Remember...shoveling a path to the tank is helpful for delivery 😀)Had my 2 tanks replaced today by Paul G & Chris M. Very professional, honest, and hard working gentlemen. We were impressed with the craftsman ship Paul had when bending copper lines and reconnecting the tanks and system together, checking for leaks when the job was done. Propane Business is more than meets the imagination. Dont forget to offer these folks a hot/ cold drink when comming to youre house, they deserve it! 🇺🇸

Install of new heating appliance by techs Eric and Chuck went flawlessly. Eric designed a neat, compact setup that worked with our challenging location.

Absolutely horrible experience. Annual fill up was at a rate far above market price. Weekend emergency phone number goes unanswered. When we called with an issue with out gas line they told us it would be 5 days before they could come as Water and Heat are more important. Then they actually failed to schedule the repair call.

Hate to leave a negative review, but Eastern Propane has earned it. Were loyal customers that constantly have issues with auto-delivery during the winter months. The tank goes unfilled every January/February despite claims of flawless predictive modeling via a state of the art computer system monitoring. -Pure rubbish. We also called to get a quote for a water heater replacement (ours broke down, which wed relayed as it was time-sensitive) and after three unanswered calls to the sales department we went elsewhere. Just too bad, as when we do manage to get folks on the tele, theyre all very pleasant!

Terrible service - they could not fix a valve issue after 5 visits. They tried to mislead us by saying it was our shower valve, which had worked fine for years when we used oil heat. Misled about propane price vs oil price when the sales rep signed us up. I should have done my research about them first. We are planning to switch from them as soon as our contract ends.

The company seems to be more interested in getting payments than servicing customers. I paid for an order in advance. When the delivery did not come on time, I cancelled the order. That was in MAY it is now JULY and I still have not been reimbursed for my cancelled order. The order was $731 still promised that it will be processed next week. Frustrating....

Horrible service. Tenant left me with empty tank, they wouldnt fill and the pipes froze costing me thousands of $$$$$$$$$.

Horrible customer service when we bought a house that had been serviced by them already. Sales associate was rude and tried to rope us into a ridiculous contract. THEN when they came to remove their tank when we declined their service they left a mess in my lawn with tire tracks and would not return our calls when we confronted them about the damage they did. STAY AWAY!!!
