I called Douglas for service on our Washer that suddenly stopped working. I expected to have to possibly wait a week for service. That did not happen, after speaking to Debbie she went the extra mile to be certain that she could have a service repair man for same day service. The Service Tech was polite, friendly and efficient and he repaired the washer that day since he had the part he needed in his truck!! Excellent Service!! Thank you so much Debbie:) Rita @ BVC

I needed to replace my felt dryer seal and Sears said it would take 9 days to get here. I called Douglass and picked it up one hour later. The same is true for when I needed to repair my range. We now buy all our appliances through them, and parts for our old appliances. Douglass is THE BEST!!!

We recently purchased a Maytag brand washer and dryer from Douglass Appliance. The process from start to finish was positive. When I called to inquire (a couple of times) about the different washer and dryer options available, they were very friendly and answered all of my questions regarding the various options and delivery process. The delivery crew was friendly, efficient, and took care when removing our old washer and dryer and installing the new ones. The overall delivery process from start to finish did not take very long. We love our new Maytag washer and dryer. Thank you, Douglass Appliance for your service!

They were supposed to do a warranty repair on a defective dishwasher in one of our rental units. After making us wait for three weeks they did not show up to do the repair. When I called to find out why they informed me that they were refusing to do the repair. They did not provide a valid reason for this and they just left me and my tenants hanging. I was stunned. I dont know if this behavior is normal for them but they sure put us in tight spot.

This company is all Aces!! Bought a Whirlpool Dryer from Appliances Connection out of Jersey. Big mistake! They sent me a broken product and after all of the headaches I called Whirlpool. Whirlpool sent out a service tech from Douglass Appliance in Danvers to evaluate. They had to order parts and come out a couple of times. They were finally able to fix the problem. I’m absolutely thrilled to have this problem fixed and this company never gave up and took responsibility for my problem. I’ll never go anywhere else for a new appliance and am a new customer for life! Thank you so much! #DouglassAppliance

I wish I could leave zero stars. This company prides itself on its customer service and quality repairs. Let me just say that anytime we have had to contact Douglass Appliance, we have been met with an incredibly rude female on the phone, the most recent time coming to mind, specifically. We purchased brand new inserts to our electric stove and needed a qualified, Jenn-Air repair service to replace the switches. When we were finally able to put in a request for service, the owners came to our home and first critiqued on the quality of all of our kitchen appliances, saying that we shouldnt expect miracles because our stove is a dinosaur, despite the fact that Jenn-Air still makes replacement parts and inserts. It then took three trips to install four brand-new switches. To add insult to injury, they did not purchase the correct knobs because they dont fit. When we commented that the knobs didnt fit correctly, one of the owners took a piece of tissue paper and jammed it into the knob, stating that it was the only way to make it turn. He also claimed that this method was the recommended repair by Jenn-Air. Now we have brand new inserts on a stove that doesnt work properly. I do not recommend this company to anyone with an appliance older than two years. The owner have no respect for peoples homes and property and has no problem showing you nothing but contempt while standing in your kitchen, with your appliance completely disassembled.

I wanted to buy a part locally to save time, and called Douglass Appliance up. They checked but did not have one in stock. They offered to order one for me, but also told me of a store in a relatively close by town (Malden) where they did have the part in stock. Thats not just customer support, that is supporting someone who might be a potential customer in the future by referring them to another business because that is in the best interests of their future customer. Class act!

We visited the business recently to look at replacing a dryer. Dianna worked with us and we were able to get the old dryer fixed instead of replacing. Saving my mom hundreds of dollars. They came out the next day and fixed the dryer. Very friendly, prompt service!

2 months and 5 visits later, my 4 year old fridge still does not work. They said to call Frigidaire, and Frigidaire said to call a repair person. The thermostat was replaced twice, the evaporator fan/motor once. Freezer is now making a vibrating, buzzing sound, which is what a faulty evaporator fan motor makes...even though thats what was replaced. Temps are up in both freezer (15°) and fridge (47°). At least they were really pleasant to work with. I just wish the problem wouldve been resolved and I could have some fresh food hanging around =(

We had a non-functioning dishwasher emergency today - Friday - 2 days before Christmas. Yuk. Although we expected to have to wait for service until the following Monday, Douglass staff were amazing. They serviced the dishwasher (same day)!! Best friendly service ever!

I had been running around all day and was getting disgusted with the high prices and lack of customer service. That all changed when I got the Douglasses. The sisters behind the counter were awesome! They were personable, knowledgeable and just super nice to talk to. I will make the trip up there to Danvers for all of my appliance part needs.

Outstanding service, family business very knowledgeable and helpful. Twice I called to schedule aservice call when my problem was diagnosed over the phone. Once I needed only to reset the appliance and the other time they knew if I replaced the knob, the dryer would work again. They ordered it for me and sure enough, that was the problem! I saved time and money. I have had them out to fix appliances and purchased with them too. They care about servicing customers well and I appreciate and trust them.
