This place was awesome!! I came to this place with troubles on my car DAVID the manager Advise me that I should get an oil change and needed new spark plugs. He gave me a really good deal and It was all done in a timely manner. I would definitely be coming back here or recommend anyone to this place very respectful and customer friendly.

This place is awesome! Very efficient and honest, I had a very bad experience couple months ago and I decided to give them another shot. I dealt with a young man I believe his name is Rudy and he is exceptionally honest and very respectful and works hard to please every customer and Ive seen him do multiple things at once all while taking care of paying in a hurry customers like me all with a smile on his face!

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I went to this place for an oil change on Saturday 3/20/21. The manager DAVID told me that I also needed a new battery and an alternator. He told me that I needed both because one will not work without the other. I questioned several times the job and the cost. He originally quoted me around $800. Being that I am a female that he could clearly see knew nothing about cars he took advantage of that to get me do do repairs to my-repairs my car DID NOT NEED!! He installed fear in me by telling me a story of another lady that supposedly didnt do as he advised and later had to be rescued by them from the side of the road. At one point I said wait because I texting with a fried back home, when I said wait, the person working on my car said it was to late something about there was only one volt holding the alternator...and went back to why I needed to make these repairs. pretended that he was looking out for me by lowering the price to $706. I was really confused because the only thing that my was showing signs that it needed was an oil change. It didnt make sense to me. When they were done, as I was pulling away I started calling mechanics back home that I knew and every single one of them, 7 total, after asking me a series of questions, all the signs that I shouldve seen, all 7 mechanics agreed that I did not need any of it. They could clearly see how this place took advantage of me because I am a female. Next day I went to get my parts that they removed. They did not want to give me the parts. David the manager told one of the workers to let me take it so that he can call the cops for theft. I had to buy back MY old parts. This is the same man that after his boss left whispered that had I asked him on the side he would given me a lower price and do it for me. After paying for them I went to 4 auto zones to have them tested and my parts passed. The last place tested my alternator 4 times. I have asked the manager to refund me my money. I have expressed that I dont want to have to take him to court, or post on social media but after a bunch of excuses and how they were right not the people I call, he is not saying that I have to go let them put my parts back if I want a refund. I will NEVER go back there AGAIN! I have contacted KWIK Industries and expressed to them that I am trying to get my money and go away, to let him know that I will not go away without a fight. I didnt want to take him to court, I didnt want to contact the better business bureau. I am also ready to contact the news and have started to post on moms facebook groups. Where one of the moms said that they did the same to her, cost her $500. On my post I have attached all of the reviews where others have had similar experience. Attached are pictures of my post with the whole story. These people are crooks and not smart ones. Instead of just giving me my money back so that I could go away, he forgetting that I have the old parts and the proof and other moms that can vouch that they did the same to them, he wants a fight. The nice lady that I am that told him several times that I didnt want to cause him problem, just wanted my money back...well now he is going to see the NYC gal in me give him a fight. See in court sir! ...and please dont come back responding to me through here, when you know I wont be able to respond...btw I was reading through your reviews and the responses, perhaps with all the money that youre stealing from the ladies that go there, perhaps you can use it to hire someone to respond in a professional manner. responding LOL or responding on behalf of a customer that wrote a bad reviews shows how ignorant you are....again, see you in court.

I appreciate this location for being able to service a oil change for Saab 9-3. I requested an air filter with my service. I was advised that is $24.00 on top of the service I received. When it was time to pay, Rudy waived the additional charge. Also Rudy and another employee shared some info under the hood I had going on and maintenance to keep a eye on. Its the small things that go a long way. Ask for Rudy he will make sure you receive proper assistance. Also this location is good for servicing foreign, quirky, rare vehicles.

The oil change was very quick. The lady there showed me a few other things that I should get fixed or replaced like the air filter and windshield wipers. I didn’t know if they actually needed to be fixed or if she was trying to up-sell me, but she didn’t really push it. It seemed like more of a recommendation. I was happy with the experience.

This is the only place I go for my car repairs . All of the guys who work there are really nice . The Manager David is very helpful . I’ve had second opinions on the work needed BEFORE I get the repairs done , even battery prices from AAA . I’ve taken my car there to even have a windshield replaced . All services done at one place is definitely a plus . This is always the best place with EXCELLENT customer service from the Manager David to get car repairs done KWIKLY !!! Hopefully I won’t need anything else done , but if so, this is definitely the place to go . Ask for David .

Called and asked if they had a wait on alignments they say no wait. I drive 28min to kwik kar and they are not busy what so ever and I’ve worked at shops so I would understand if they were busy. But they aren’t. They are just lazy. I pull up and get told I have l come back Friday. I tell them I just called and show them and he just looks at me with a blank stare. So I will not be coming back Friday. Too lazy to do actual work? Just want to sit in the break room and get paid to sit around? Just lazy. It would’ve been cool if I was told they can’t do it when I called but for me to drive all the way here to get told no is ridiculous.

I took my Honda Accord to Kwik Kar yesterday, 7-7-21 for its annual state inspection. The inspector told me that my brakes were defective and that it was metal on metal and there was clear and unmistakeable noise demonstrating the need for new brakes. There was no noise, and the inspector refused to get in my car and listen with me to see that there was no noise. When I asked if he had put the car on the rack and looked at the brake pads to verify they needed to be replaced he said no. According to him -- and this is wrong - if the brake fluid is low then the pads must be worn through and in need of replacement. I declined to have them replaced, drove my car immediately to the Firestone down the street. Their technician was kind enough to get in my car, drive it, and reported immediately there was no noise and the brakes worked perfectly. I was also told that I was the third customer from in that neighborhood to come to them with a report that my car needed new brakes to pass an inspection and in all 3 cases, no brake repairs were needed for my car or the others who brought their cars to Firestone to check. The inspector was rude, and most importantly, lied about the noise and refused to get in the car and listen to establish that falsehood. I have arranged with my credit card company to deny payment, and am reporting them to the Department of Motor Vehicles. I took my car to Firrestone that same day, and lo and behold it had no problem passing the state inspection. Do not use this place, unless you wish to be cheated.

This is my 2nd time coming to this business and I will continue to utilize their service. I went around 4:30 even though they closed at 6 today and there were 2 people in the waiting room with me-these people proceeded to berate and badger the employees over The fine print of the groupon. The information was absolutely there and the customers refused to acknowledge That they misread or overlooked the information. This period despite being called every name known to man over the phone as well as getting many questions and rude responses from the 2 customers the employees remained professional and continued to answer the questions in a nice manner. A lot of people would have flipped out but they were extremely nice and just continued to let the customers know the additional money they were spending and how the groupon shows that they would be spending this extra money . They are highly recommended

Gone for an inspection- was told I would pass the inspection but would need $150 in repairs that they found in their complementary look over. I took the car to a different mechanic who fixed the same issue for $25. Place tries to scam you into paying for more and more expensive services so they can make money, dont care whether its actually essential.

Came here for my state inspection and didn’t have a great experience.The gentleman at the window told me it would be an hour wait, which is fine, but didn’t ask for keys or insurance and instead mumbled something about seeing “when he could fit me in” and walking into the garage.When I got my car back there was grease on the inside and outside I had to clean after.Admittedly I left in a hurry and didn’t notice this, but they didn’t return my insurance card to me and I had to go back to get it after I realized it. No call or anything.I know these guys are busy trying to work through as many cars as they can in a day, but this experience felt very haphazard and unorganized.

Warning do not go here unless you break down in the parking lot. My son took car in for a oil change and engine flush and the mechanic said he needed another engine because it was bad. We towed it to another shop and it was fixed and on road same day. They said engine was still perfect.Lucky these guys arent doctors or they would recommend a leg amputation for a head cold. There is a lot of guess work and parts changing at owners expense that is unnecessary. I would give less than half star but it made me give 1.

Oil change was quick. Girl that was there showed me my cabin and air filters needed replacing. She showed me the cabin filter had rodent droppings in it. My mechanic back had changed it before I came down to Dallas and he said the same thing. I was glad she caught that. I wasnt crazy about the price to replace and install it. She said if I wanted to buy my own, and I got back in time, she would do it for me. I was happy with the experience there. They also offer a veteran discount.

I came here for a state inspection, and at best the inspection was sketchy. The time they took was reasonable, and the people were friendly, but they told me they could not pass my car unless I bought a new windshield wiper. I looked up the rules on this, and at best this can be called a very conservative translation of the state rules, at worst unethical up selling

Had Groupon they said it was for the wrong kwik Kar on Frankford and charged me $71.00!!!! When even if I was they should have told me at the start when they scanned the Group On paid purchase $27. even though they offer the same GROUP-ON DEAL at that location. They refused to refund my money! My husband handled the payment didnt know and I was waiting outside in car. We could not afford $71 dollars thus the coupon we will have to go without essentials including medication until 5-14. Horrible experience and to boot. I stayed on car (broken knee) while serviced, a list of items were checked off as completed were never done I was sitting right there watching no window cleaning or vaccine, didnt check transmission fluid,power steering fluid, windshield wipers, air filters, battery was at least hooked up. NONE OF THOSE THINGS WERE DONE!!! I would give -5 stars if it would let me. Its a crying shame to be treated as if you are an old coot who wont know the difference. WRONG for the minute anyway I am in charge of my senses. 68 years old. So sad to have such a bad experience getting the oil changed. I have tried to contact GROUP ON no response from emails and you cant call anyone there and Kwik Kat lady was rude and told me thats our policy and we follow it whatever chick I asked to speak to manager she raised her voice to me saying I AM THE MANAGER and I follow the rules alsoI never raised my voice (dont raise your voice improve your argument)DID not curse all though I could have I didnt I spoke in civil manner to try and resolve the issue and thanked her for her time. I was leaving on a long road trip and asked them if they’d check everything to make sure I’m good to go and they did! That’s not included in a regular oil change. Ive been taking our Corollas here for years for oil changes, inspections, and any any repairs that have been needed. Assuming I do my best to avoid peak times in the middle of the weekend, Im able to get in and out of there very quickly. Staff seems very competent and the management is not pushy about additional sales and services. Im going to keep going there.

I came for my state inspection. I had a coupon from the monthly flyers that are mailed out. I did not make an appointment, just walked in on a weekday afternoon. Interaction with service tech was friendly and professional. I was able to sit in the air conditioned waiting area with mask and social distancing, thank goodness because it was 100 degrees outside. They honored my coupon. I was out in less than 30 minutes. Pleasant experience overall.

Went in to get my o2 sensor changed out, the mechanics werent able to replace it without snapping the manifold off. Thats fine, it was an old corrosive part, no problem so far. They then try to upsell me an entire catalytic converter instead of just the part I needed, and ensured it would be very expensive. After finding the part sometime later myself, I bring it back and have them install it. The installation goes fine, but then they call me and ask me how long my car has had trouble starting. I come back to pick it up, not wanting to deal with them anymore to find out that they caused mechanical problems in my car making it much harder to start. They lie to me, telling me I had those problems before taking my car in. I would never recommend going here.

I would recommend this place to everyone who would ask me where to take their vehicle for service. My check engine light code read faulty knocking sensor. After further diagnostics, Francisco recommended a couple of services and it worked saving me time and money during this pandemic. He could have easily replaced the knocking sensor taking my money. They were great!They ordered the mirror, replaced the broken one, changed the oil and performed the inspection in a very timely manner. Every time I take my car there they fix my car in a timely manner. Even when nothing major was wrong with my car they were 100% honest with me and didnt charge me anything other than the $90 diagnostic fee and that happened twice. I will not take my car anywhere else to get fixed but here.

On my very first visit, I arrived just as they opened on a Saturday morning and they got me in right away. They told me it would take about 20 minutes to change the oil in my car. It was exactly 20 minutes! They were very courteous, efficient, answered all my questions, and told me about coupon savings available on maintenance that I will need to do soon. They were not pushy in any way when I said I would need to wait till I get my bonus to have some things done and I was very favorably impressed all around! I will definitely be back and I would recommend them to everyone!

The guys were attentive and provided excellent customer service. I was told by another dealer that I needed to replace all four tires which I knew was incorrect. The guys at Kwik Kar told me that only two, which I figured needed to be replaced and that the other two were in excellent condition. It’s honesty like this that I can get behind when it comes to the upkeep of my Terrain.

I unexpectedly had a low oil pressure indicator alarm appear while driving. I stumbled across their location and hoped for the best. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. Adrian C. acted genuinely concerned about the issue and took great care of me. He and Brandon L. had me back on the road in minutes. Problem was solved quickly and with an inspection! I Recently moved from Louisiana looking for a new trustworthy auto shop. Happy to say that I found a keeper. Francisco had excellent and professional customer service. He did my vehicles inspection and changed the necessary break pads that needed to be changed himself! He did not try to scam me like other auto places. Thats rare to find. Also at affordable prices. I came in for an alignment, service was fast, mechanics went straight to work in and out in about 45minutes. Customer service was good. Only thing I would say is as I was waiting a gentleman came in to get service and waited a bit as they only had one person working the desk at the time, and he was helping a customer get checked in outside. I was disappointed with the dishonest service. This is why mechanics get a bad rap. I came in to get my parents car inspected. Kwik Kar said it wouldnt pass because the check engine light was on. After reading the TXDOT website, I now know they were supposed to tell me what was wrong with it (with the cost of inspection) so I could fix it. Instead, they charged me $90 for doing what I could do for free by going to Autozone. Then they told me it would be around $1000 to fix and it would take a few days to get the part. Well, I called my brother who lives in OK. He said that was ridiculous, and he drove the two hours to fix it. It didnt need any parts. It just needed some adjustments and tightening of hoses and such. He did it in less than a half hour (without new parts) and fixed the brakes as well (which Kwik Kar didnt notice and would have caused a failed inspection as well). I should have known better but I didnt want to bother my brother. Hes a real mechanic. The car was then inspected elsewhere. Way to take advantage of seniors.

Took my car for oil change, state inspection, coolant flush & fill & replaced air filter. I trusted them to perform essential services. I spent over $1,000 for them to replace my original A/C system. When they put it in, it blew cold A/C. I now have to take it back a Second time because it takes forever for it to blow cold air. I can’t even add Freon to it because it will not hold the tube on. I’ve also spent a considerable amount of money on several oil changes for my car, oil change on my girlfriend’s car and a car inspection. I will take it in again since it’s under warranty but if you want a place that does the job RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, this Kwik Kar location is not it. If they spent more time on doing the job right and less time on lies and up selling services, I’m confident they would get better reviews. I’ve reached out to other customers for possible litigation as that maybe the only way forward.

I went in for a diagnostic only, and made it clear that I only wanted this one service done, because I had someone else to change my parts. After directly telling the mechanic/manager of my needs, I get a phone call saying that they went ahead and changed my spark plugs, wires and distributor cap, and that the total cost of it all would be $400!! I went in for a $90 Diagnostic!! After complaining to the supervisor, he told me he had assumed that I wanted this service done because I had the parts in my truck. So they went through my truck and technically stole my parts and put them on without my permission. He also said that since it was already done, there was nothing he could do except give me a $100 discount. Never will I ever go to this company again. Very unprofessional and very greedy.

Stay away from this place. Took both of my import vehicles for a oil change. Knuckle heads used regular 10w-30 oil for both my vehicles that use synthetic oil.One of my vehicles was acting up and mechanic told me someone put regular oil in the engine. Had to pay for another oil change just so my car wouldnt act up again. Whats funny is the guy charging you tells you the oil you! Quality customer service. Inspector Francisco did an A1 job on my vehicle changing the break pads, changing the oil and doing inspection himself. Seeing someone running back and fourth, running up and down the stairs shows great hardwork. Rarely see hard working employees like that these days. I will be recommending!

I like to watch when people work on my car not for any negative reason but rather I am just a curious person who is interested in cars. I was standing outside the garage and the mechanic yelled at me that I had to go in the office where I couldn’t see. They were also complaining that I had a groupon. They marked on the receipt that they vacuumed which comes with an oil change and they did not. They also are supposed to check the air in the tires and they did not do that either. Also I have always at these places driven my car into the bay myself and you would think with everything going on now with covid this would not be an issue. However they would not let me drive the car Myself they said they had to get in the car. Or I could come back another time when I felt more comfortable. I will not go back to this location.5/23/2020 - Follow up. they did reach out and Offer over voicemail that they have made some changes and that the worker who was complaining no longer works there, as well as a free oil change next time. However, I just tried to Follow up with them Via the email provided below asking them to put in writing that they offered me a free oil change next time i need one. in case there is a new staff there, and the email came back saying Your message wasnt delivered to [email protected] because the address couldnt be found, or is unable to receive mail.

I’ve been to this Kwik Kar as well as their location on Inwood in Dallas. Both locations are great. They never ever try to up sell me on things I don’t need, and the staff is always polite and friendly. I was most recently at the Frankford location for an oil change and inspection, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I also love the coupons they send out in the mail. Great deals!

NEVER take your car to this place !!!! This is the WORST customer service I ever met!!!!Here is my experience : My car can not start and I bring it to this place. Without any inspection, they firstly replaced my starter with $500 dollars. After I took it back, it failed to start again. Then I tolled the car back to their place(Costs me another $100). They told me, it was caused by the bad battery, then they charged me $150 for the new battery and promise me it will definitely work. After one hour, they gave me another call said the real problem is the bad wire. I asked them to put the battery back. They said the battery is also dead and give me some stupid reasons BLABLABLA..... Then they charged me another 400 dollars to replace the wire !!!!! I totally spend 1300+ dollars just to fix the start problem.They absolutely ripped me off.Another thing I need to mentioned is I am a international student. If I am not busy right now, I will definitely lawsuit this place.As the other people said, They will trying any opportunities to ripe you off. NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fast, friendly, competent, affordable and trustworthy. I bring a vehicle over every few months and recently requested a transmission fluid change on an older vehicle. The tech checked the fluid first and recommended that I not do it as he felt it wasnt needed (when does that ever happen?) but he did notice the radiator fluid was low and filthy (the jeep had been running hot) and took care of it. Enough said. In and out in less than 40 minutes.

I came to this location yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation. Adrian took care of me. He was courteous and very knowledgeable about the services my vehicle needed. He explained everything and did not try to force services on me that I didn’t need. He made sure to document the recommendations for future services. I really appreciated that. I drove 30 min to the location to find out I needed to set an appointment. (The Groupon does say to call to set an appointment. This was my fault.) I was told the next appointment would be at 3:30. I drove back home and then came back at 3:30. The worker forgot I made the appointment even though I wrote my name and number on the appointment sheet. I was then told to come back the next morning at 8 am. After hours of driving and missing work, I finally got my car serviced.

Adrienne was nice initially. The work was done in a timely manner, but in doing so I received my car back with a new problem. They unplugged wiring that operates my cruise control and traction control. When I asked, I was lied to and told these lights were on when they got the car. Sadly, I didn’t find the honest mechanic shop to do business with.

Went here to fix a rear strut that had broke on my car and have my breaks looked at. They claimed to had fixed my breaks, yet my breaks failed again about ten minutes after I left the shop and I nearly died. After replacing my rear strut, they also ruined my alignment. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to receive your car in worse shape than when you left it with them.

Kwik Kar on Frankford is the best place that I have been to since I have lived in Texas for the last 5 years. I only trust this location as they have been awesome to me!! Great service for affordable prices. The manager is great and explains everything that needs to be done to my car. He always looks at whatever the guys recommend need to be done to my car. If he doesnt agree then he will let me know. I went in because my brakes were making a crazy noise, they replaced them w/in a reasonable amount of time. The next day they were making noises again but not the same noise. So I went back and the manager replaced my brakes & rotors for free. I have also been there for numerous other services and they have been outstanding!! I totally recommend them as they are the best!!! I will not go anywhere else! Thank guys!!
