My apologies to Kwik Kar this review is well over due. And five stars dont remotely do the justice they deserve.I went here about a month ago for simple work on my car. The customer service offered was just amazing! The management really treated me like I was a VIP or better.Working in customer service for over 30 years as well as worked in the auto industry previously I can say these guys are too notch.The prices are more than fair and reasonable. Probably even less than what you might pay elsewhere.Knowledgeable and fully capable mechanics are on duty to support you and your needs.I highly recommend this Kwik Kar location for your vehicle service needs.

I really hate to give bad reviews but the experience Monday at KwiK Kar really Disappointment this was one of my favorite places to get an oil change at. Ladies be careful Monday I got my oil change the guy asked me to come outside and told me everything looks great except I needed brake fluid he was on special for $71 he asked me if I would like to do it I say no that I will take care of it. So i just got my oil change paid and left The second day I went to AutoZone to buy brake fluid the guy was confused because I told him I the model of my car and year and I was like u already need break fluid but he still sold it me only cost me two dollars the ask me if he would him to help me I was yes I would appreciate . When he looked in brake fluid it was completely full did not needed. So yea he was going toCharge me $71 to do nothing so please be careful they always trying to take advantage of us woman🤦🏽‍♀️Not going there again.

I had to get my oil changed last minute, since I waited so long and the manager totally helped me out! He was amazing and I was in and out in under 25 minutes! WONDERFUL service, theyve got a customer for life with me. Thank you!!

I came in for a routine state inspection but was told I needed to drive 120 miles and come back. The guy was very nice about it and didn’t charge me, but it seems like he didn’t know how to properly inspect my vehicle (maybe because it is an old 2002 model). I wanted a second opinion, and went immediately to a valvoline to the get inspection and it passed with no issues, so I really don’t know what the hang up was at this location. Overall, the gentleman who I dealt with was very kind and apologetic, but I got the impression that this shop didn’t know how to inspect an older vehicle that lacks all the new sensors. It was pretty inconvenient to have to go to a second shop to get the inspection done, but unfortunately I think I’ll be avoiding this place at least for inspections.

Good place for oil change, employees are very friendly and answered all my questions.

After driving around to different mechanic shops around town and not having a good experience at any of them. I came to this Kwik Kar location and was taken care of right away. Highly recommend giving this location a chance.

This is the worst Kwik Kar Ive been to in the Metroplex. I arrived around noon for an oil change (during my lunch break) and it took them THREE hours total to be complete with my car. It seemed like they completely forgot about my car the first time I asked about how long it would take and at one point the guys sat around for 20 minutes arguing about God knows what.. Not working on a single car! I understand being short staff but this was completely unprofessional. No discount or coupon or anything for the extremely long wait either.

This place was great. I went in for an oil change and to get some air in my tires and everything was smooth sailing. I had known my breaks were getting to be about done for so when the manager, (Leif or Laif?) let me know that they werent looking too hot, I knew he was giving it to me straight. Ended up getting brakes and rotors done for a reasonable price and the manger was a great guy that knows his stuff and I can trust my car with him. Will definitely recommend, always hard to find a mechanic you trust.

They were friendly, cost was a bit higher than other places for an oil change. While waiting we spoke with another person who goes here regularly. We will probably come here again .

Used to like this place but new owners ruined it. My wife went for oil, not knowing, and the guy tried to make her think she needs a brake fluid flush and said the battery was bad. Had he checked, hed have seen that they did the brakes and they are still under warranty and I just had the battery and alternator checked. Both good. Stay way from this place. They will try to rip you off. Sad. Liked their location and the guys who used to be there.

I went in to get inspected and it took almost no time at all! I found out I needed a ac filter change and Leif the manager was awesome! He was fast, knowledgeable and very kind! This man should be an area director! Any women can feel confident going there alone and get great service!

Shady...When I called to enquire about an oil change i was asked how would I be paying. The were stipulations on if it was a Groupon, coupon, or card. Didnt have those but what if I had? Spent my money elsewhere, missed out on 2 full synthetic oil changes and future business.

Pulled up without an appointment and the team met me in the parking lot. In less than 20 minutes they were able to repair a wiring issue with my headlight and give me an oil change. Great service and team here

I just moved back to Dallas from Prosper and have gone to the Kwik Kar there for a few years now, so naturally I transferred to this one closest to my new residence. I have to say my overall experience was great! I was greeted right away when exiting my car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Damon was the gentleman who helped me the morning I went in. He was wonderful to work with. He explained all the maintenance my car needed and how I could get it done in a timely and budget friendly manner. The process overall was very quick and easy. I will definitely be going back to have them continue the care of my car.

Ive loved the service here. I went in previously with some questions on my brakes. The manager was very honest and said that they shouldnt need replacement for a long time and told me to check with the manufacturer for potential recall issues.Now, Im getting my state inspection with Tom and still the same great service. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been going to the place for about a decade (through a couple different owners). I’ve always felt they were honest and they do good work. A few times they’ve gone above and beyond (once when the service took way longer than expected, they dropped my car at my house for me!!). Have never had an issue and the services are generally performed with a swiftness! Recommended.

Shawn Pin greeted me quickly as I pulled up in need of an oil change and state inspection. I received $15 coupon in the mail for my birthday so they applied it to the oil change. Shawn made me aware of two other filters in need of change that were very dirty. The service was wonderful and I was out of there in no time!

My go to place for oil changes, state inspections, and minor repair work! They take really good care of my cars! I have been a loyal customer since the shop was opened!

The staff here are very cordial. They will take time to talk to you and let you know how your car is doing overall. They are also willing to answer any of my questions, big and small. Will definitely be coming back here even when I move out of East Dallas.

As soon as I drove up, I was greeted by a nice gentleman who gave me an estimate of my wait time for an inspection. They told me to have a seat inside while I waited and they immediately started working on it! The wait was short and the customer service was incredible!

Had coupon for oil change by the time they were done he told me I owed this much more which ended up costing me the amount that I would have paid if I had not bought the coupon from Groupon.

They explained everything I needed done and were not pushy on any extra service I might need in the future. They told me they would keep an eye on a small leak I have, but not anything to worry about right now. They gave me all the prices I would be charged ahead of doing the work. I recommend them. These guys set a new standard in auto repair! I’m not kidding or being dramatic. I recently had to bring my car in for a major repair. It was stressful, for sure, but because of the team there I never felt like I was being cheated. I never felt as though I did not understand what was happening to my car. I never felt like I was being told I needed a repair I didn’t need.The guys there took the time to explain what was happening. They were clear on the price and the repair, and they did it right. Now my car runs perfectly.Finding a good mechanic is so important. Now if my car ever needs anything, I know exactly where to go. That’s actually a big relief. I look forward to taking my car here for years to come!

I’m extremely disappointed.I went to the kwik kar at white rock to get my oil changed last Friday it cost me $77 for a 2017 Mazda 3 and today 5 days later my car was heating up so my dad checked my car for me only to find out my oil was completely empty.They saw a woman of color alone and they took advantage of me.I don’t understand why they would trick me telling me they changed my oil and charged me for it when they really did nothing.My car engine will never be the same again and I’m not sure I can ever trust another kwik kar shop again.

Wow! Stellar service! I park my car and a very kind young man greeted me in the parking lot asking what I needed! Gave him my keys and insurance card and walked in the door and was greeted by the very friendly GM Terry! He explained their services and such and with the pleasant atmosphere they just got themselves a new customer!!!

Fast service. Changed a lightbulb but left light setting on on instead of auto and caused my battery to run out. I tried to call the manager to let him know so it doesnt happen to others but was on left on hold for way too long.

Poor customer service! id say they over charge women but I really hope that’s not the case but they did charge me $75 for an oil change on a Mazda Cx3 which usually cost me $45-$50. 10/10 wont be going back again.

I have been taking my car here for over 8 years Everyone is very friendly and they make sure you know what is going on with your car and they show you as well. Tyler, Daniel, and the rest of the crew are the best and I will never take my car anywhere else They will even give you a ride home if your repairs are going to take awhile. One of the best businesses in the area.

I came in to get my state inspection. They were very friendly and fast. The place is very clean, too. I would definitely come back here.

I have been a customer for over 10 years but there seems to be some recent staff changes that are causing problems. I went for an oil change on 10/8 and they found my battery to be low. They wanted $180 to replace it. I went to Firestone and they properly noted that the battery was still under warranty (clearly labeled on the battery top) and got a new one for $33.The next morning I found oil leaking out of the car. I went back to Kwik Kar and they fixed it. By that night there was a terrible smell in my car and I was noticing a loss of acceleration. I popped the hood and found they had left the oil cap off, it was still tucked in securely nearby on the engine. Putting the cap back on solved the acceleration and smell issue.I have never had them screw up this bad before, much less try to rob me on a warrantied battery. Its a shame because they have a nice location.

Had the misfortune of needing a major engine repair on my Mini Cooper - while it wasnt at all fun having to have a lot of work done on my car, the guys at Kwik Kar on the Lake were SO great, even giving me a ride home and keeping me up to date on everything. They worked with my car warranty (which wasnt easy) and got as much of the repairs covered as possible. I have to give a great big THANK you to Tyler and all the guys there - I wont ever take my car anywhere else!

Used to be a great neighborhood place for car maintenance, but under new management you are going to face a daunting hard sell for every imaginable thing they can think of to part you from your money. Yes they can do an oil change.. just be prepared to say NO to all that other stuff you might or might not need.
