Beautiful venue!

Beautiful place for a wedding ceremony and reception. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Followed all protocols to protect themselves and us while serving drinks and food. Food was delicious! Everything was on point. We had a wonderful evening enjoying our nieces wedding.

Lovely venue! Attended a wedding and absolutely fell in love with the place. Its classic with a small modern feel. The Room on Main has a great view of downtown and there were a lot parking options.

The Room on Main is one of the most beautiful ballrooms in the city of Dallas and we could not have been happier with our amazing wedding and reception. Yes, it was a COVID wedding but all staff and vendors did an amazing job making us and our guests feel super safe. We appreciate the flexibility dealing with our roller coaster guest count. In the end we had a great turn out and everyone cannot stop complimenting the venue and the staff. Thanks again for making our day truly memorable!

The wedding reception was outstanding. Nice venue with a helpful staff. Chicken entree was cooked correctly and the sauce was pretty good.

The Room on Main! This is a perfect venue for that special day! They have a very big and spacious area thats great for dancing and partying! Its located in the downtown area so its accesible to everything, food here is awesome and the staff are so nice and calm.

I have worked at a lot of venues in my years as a Wedding Planner and The Room on Main does it right! Their staff is super helpful and easy to work with. They go above and Beyond for their clients and to make sure everyone gets the event they dreamed of. I love working at The Room on Main and know if you choose it as your venue you will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous venue!

Amazing. Thats all I can say to describe this venue. The minute I walked into The Room on Main, I fell in love with the ballroom for its large windows and natural light. The venue is indoor and can accommodate a large guest count, which was perfect for our July wedding. I appreciated the fact that the venue exclusively uses CN Catering and provide lighting services and linen rentals, as those were a few less vendors I needed to find on my own. The team provided a great planning timeline for me to reference and was responsive throughout the planning process for any questions or changes I wanted to make. On the day of, the venue was set up exactly as we discussed and was a comfortable temperature all night.

We attended a wedding reception at the room on Main. It could not have been any more perfect than it was. The room is versatile and can be transformed into any theme you can imagine. It had an elegant feel and a dynamite view. There was nothing I can think of to make that venue better.

My first experience at The Room on Main was nothing short of incredible! First you take in the unbelievable views and then absorb the grand vibe of this venue. If youre not having a party here, you are making a mistake! The service from the staff match the space - TJ, Juan, and Calvin were a planners dream come true to work with. I cant wait to come back!

Nice venue. There is no signage on the building, so it is a little difficult to find The Room, but parking is convenient in the Elm Street garage right across the street, or in one of several lots nearby. The venue is beautiful and nicely lit.

This is a great venue! Beautiful architecture. Staff was very helpful. There isnt great parking, but you can arrange paid parking with the garage across the street for your event. And there are a few metered spots outside.

My band has performed here many times over the years for wedding receptions and other private events. Its a beautiful and versatile venue and the staff is always nice and helpful! The windows give amazing views to Downtown Dallas and the high ceiling just adds that much more beauty to the room. We love performing here and look forward to continue coming back. :)

What a great venue for a wedding! Early in the evening the atmosphere was the perfect formal setting for wedding vows and pictures. By the end of the night the room took on a high energy club feel to where everyone had a great time and danced until midnight. My recommendation is to always request the wall up-lights which gave the room plenty of character. Great choice for our wedding.

The Room on Main is one of my favorite venues in Dallas. We (A Stylish Soiree) work there often. The staff is so nice and accommodating to our needs, the room is absolutely beautiful and CN Catering has amazing food. Always a first stop for our Brides!

We had the most wonderful wedding reception at The Room on Main! The staff was great to work with: communicated clearly, anticipated needs and very professional. The Room was absolutely beautiful! TROM was everything I ever wanted in my wedding reception. I had been looking for a venue where my guests would be treated to a gorgeous view of the Dallas skyline; the TROM was perfect for this. Not to mention, the restored ballroom has so much character and is located in the heart of downtown Dallas. My husband and I are proud Texans and are very attached to the city so this couldn’t have been more perfect.Food was our biggest concern during our wedding planning process. My husband is Vietnamese, and in his culture food means everything in a wedding (and can even affect how guests gift the couple!). Traditionally, Vietnamese weddings in DFW are hosted within a limited range of venues that can specially cater Chinese/Vietnamese food. We knew that a majority of our guests would be expecting this kind of food.TROM’s biggest selling point was that food was their thing; and they absolutely delivered and went above and beyond my husband and my expectations.TJ, our venue coordinator, worked with us EVERY step of the way. We were able to customize our menu so that we had traditional Asian food items while still keeping some Western entrée’s. CN Catering offered several public tastings of their (vast!) menu and we were also able to set up a private tasting with the chef. Quite literally, every small detail could be customized and was accounted for during our reception. CN Catering even went out of the way to recreate a special sushi roll that my husband and I had requested! They recreated it perfectly down to the T; and it felt like my husband and I were able to share something about ourselves to our guests through the food.Our guests loved TROM and were impressed by the food. A lot of our guests remarked on how fast the food came out. My husband’s grandmother hasn’t since stopped talking about how much she enjoyed everything about the wedding and food- and this speaks volumes about the TROM! Looking back at our wedding, we feel very satisfied and incredibly lucky and blessed. I don’t think we could possibly be happier with how everything turned out. If we had to do everything again, we wouldn’t change a thing.

It was a good venue for the wedding we attended. The staff was courteous, the food was good, and the acoustics were good. The wooden floors were a great surface for dancing. We had a really great time!!

Went to my nieces wedding here. Really great place and staff was superb. The acustics werent that great for the preacher but other than that, highly recommended. Parking garage right across the street for guests.

Absolutely beautiful venue. I literally gasped when I walked in the room. It was amazing and the food was delicious.

Excellent large room. You can do just about anything with it. Good secondary rooms for private parties, groomsmen, Etc.

The Room on Main is just flat out beautiful. If you want your wedding to have a sunny, open, downtown, and elegant vibe then this is your place! Why confine your wedding with four walls at a dark hotel room? The high ceilings and open windows really make for great pictures. All of our guests were wowed with Room and their staff. Its reasonably priced to rent, only catch is their catering company you have to work with so you cant choose your own, they can be pricey, however they did an excellent choice. If i had to do it all over again, i would still choose the Room on Main. The pictures came out beautifully. Worth the memories :)

They rolled out the red carpet for my sons wedding. Exterior and Interior was a sight for sore eyes. My daughter in law chose a great location for the wedding and reception to be held.

Maybe all dressed up the main room would be more impressive, but it was underwhelming. Also the grooms room could hold 4 people comfortably with a 3 person couch, small refrigerator, and 34ish inch TV. It felt like an afterthought.

When here for a cousins wedding the place was very nice the staff was very friendly I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants to have a special event

We loved the room on main for our wedding reception! the staff worked well with us, and the room at night looked so beautiful! we got so many compliments from our guests about the space. i loved how neutral of a palette the room is for other decoration.the only couple of downsides were that lighting was not included, and while leforce lighting is magnificent it still adds up and that they only have one catering choice. CN catering was sooo yummy though, but again, not the cheapest option. overall, we loved having our reception at the room on main!

Absolutely no regrets in our decision to use The Room on Main for my daughters wedding. The Brides love of wooden floors, tall windows overlooking the city, and chandeliers made the choice of The Room on Main as the wedding/reception venue an obvious choice. Once that decision was nailed down, it was on to a caterer.When selecting The Room on Main, the catering service of CN Catering (reviewed separately) was required for all food and linens. Also the use of LeForce Entertainment (reveiwed separately) as lighting is also mandatory. For us, those two selections made things easier. Although CN Catering and The Room on Main are separate companies, David is able to talk with you in answering questions which pertain to both areas. That is quite helpful.Please do not be concerned that you are required to use CN Catering. David makes himself available to answer questions and put you at ease. And the food, both in taste and presentation is outstanding! Our guests are still talking about the meal and service they received! Every comment has been extremely favorable.One of my dearest friends summed the evening as elegant and personal. What more could you want!You will have selections on linens to meet your price range as well as choices in foods to meet your budget.We have nothing but wonderful things to say about David, The Room on Main, and CN Catering. Thank you for helping to make my daughters wedding the wedding of her dreams.
