They no longer patch tires, its their Policy. So they dont fix tires at all. The mechanic never told me this he only looked at the tire and said you have a screw in it and we added air , I could have done that myself. So unless you want new Tires no point to go for a flat.

Deannah and the team were incredible. This was one of the best mechanic experiences Ive had. I had a 1pm appointment and they said it would take about an hour. I got a call in 45min that they were wrapping up. They even rotated my tires and replaced my cabin air filter for free labor. Excellent service.

I rate the tire center 5 stars for their people. Dan was a little short handed at the time I arrived. The guy was a machine, balancing phone calls, and customers at a moderately busy time. He was kind and patient. The tires were installed quickly and done right.The tires from General Tire originally were noisy at speed. I returned to see Dan, explained what I thought was wrong. He listened and took the car on a test ride. He further checked the work to make sure it was done correctly. Well, the noise settled down, nothing further was really needed. I just think that he went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. The shop works hard and cares about its work. I would highly recommend them.

Would give a zero if I could. They didnt have tires for a Jeep Patriot! Really?? There are like a million of them on the road! AND, when I asked about alignments, they said that they dont do them! HOW do you sell tires and not do alignments?? The guy said that Walmart doesnt want to be responsible. For what, I dont know as he didnt say!But the guys were pleasant enough.

Special thanks to Alex for his flexibility. I arrived 15 minutes after 5 pm and I was informed that they were fully booked for the day with tire changes, battery replacements, and fixing flat tires.This Walmart Auto Care Center is one of the best in the Chicagoland area. I hope Corporate might recognize their professional demeanor. Special mention to Tom (manager), Cole and Evan (rest of this AMAZING team at Walmart Auto Care).It is commendable how they made sure my wifes car had a synthetic oil change done professionally when needed, and two days before the first January winter storm. Which other Walmart locations do that on a day they were virtually fully packed? Also an older lady could not have her Cadillac battery replaced because of car manufacturer limitations, and when informed and rigorously explained by Alex, she had nothing but kind words for all of them for explaining in detail the situation with her battery and options in an authorized dealership. She regretted not being able to have the opportunity to change the battery in this location, since she stated everyone in her family trusts Walmart more with battery and oil changes than official car dealerships.

Not worth the money you save.. They are very disorganized and cannot handle the volume of customers they receive... Simple tire changes/repairs/etc will take a minimum 3-4 hours.. Thats if they can even get you in.. I had them put a set of tires on last year, and had a flat but I had purchased the road hazard insurance... So when I brought the tire in I had to go in (4) times before they could service it.. with that said, the people that work there are nice.. Just not trained well, and not given the direction/and or tools they need to work well.. Im not a Wal Mart hater, and overall I have been happy with Wal Mart as a whole.. Just not their Auto Center.... It needs some work!!!

You get there Early to get oil change.730am they open at 8am Im 5th in line.At 900am still not checked in.They only have one scanner to check you in.Dont get me wrong theyre good at what they do but they need to be more efficient.All about time management.

Went in for a simple oil change. They say it will be 30 minutes. I go eat at the subway in store and do my shopping takes me about 40 minutes. I go there and they say it will be another 45 minutes. I go stand outside in the cold(as I had bought stuff that would go bad if it got warm) come back in after 45 minutes then they tell me the staff is on break and that they will start when they get back. Ridiculous and not convenient at all

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Ive been here 3 times this year, and all 3 times I was here 2.5 - 3 hours for just a standard oil change. The last time was over 3 hours, and there was only 2 people in front of me for an oil change. It does not take this long for a standard oil change. They didnt seem to care about the wait whatsoever, either.

Do not use!!!We have been sitting in the waiting room with our unfinished truck in the bay for an OIL CHANGE!!!We can even leave and go to a legitimate oil change facility as our truck is half finished!!The manager, Troy Martin , is of no help at all. He just keeps telling us we have to wait until they finish!When we walked in a 11am this morning they gave us a 30 minute wait time.Do not use walmart crystal lake for any oil changes!!!!!

This is the worst auto center Ive ever experienced. They have no regard for your time, grossly understaffed and wait times for a simple oil change can be an excess of 3 hours. If I could rate it ZERO stars I would. Its advertised they open at 7 but generally dont open until 7:15 and the customer service people are slow as molasses. I cannot say enough bad about this store.

I was a ble to park close to the door. The staff quickly diected me to what i needed and expefited my check out. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

If I could give it a zero Stars I would, they broke my lug studs when they changed my tire and could not repair them. I have a 2017 car and they over torqued the lug nuts.... The service tech explained to me that the lug stud was made out of inferior material and that is why it broke. I am beside myself with aggravation. If you choose to let these guys work on your car you must have something seriously wrong with you. I will never let Walmart touch my car ever again.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR TO THESE PEOPLEI did, and guess what? They broke my lug nuts the first time I went- just to get tires but wait! It gets better. Then they tried to KILL us the next week when I brought it back with my second car to get two tires and didn’t TIGHTEN THE LUGNUTS so there was a thumping sound- at that point I was livid. Didn’t bring it back went to another auto shop where they showed me that my back tires were not put on securely and I could twirl with my FINGER the lugnuts I was just driving on. This place is dangerous and I wouldn’t let them fix my bike let alone go near another car of mine. Please do not go here. You will regret it. Almost as much as these people will when I’m done with them.

Do NOT take your car here. Went in for an oil change and ended up having to spend much more money elsewhere because of the damage caused. The way they did it ended up causing a puncture that caused a major oil leak. They also told me upon returning my car that my washer fluid cap was missing... As soon as I got home, I popped the hood and immediately found it...

This place is an absolute joke, the men that manage this place need to go flip burgers. My girlfriend bought tires there the tires were defective. Now they will not stand behind their work or products. The claim you need to buy the road hazard to get a warrenty. They do not explain what the road hazard covers. The whole management team should be fired. I have never experienced such a joke of a service center in my life.

I wish I had read these reviews before i got my oil changed here. They did not put the engine cover back on tightly under the oil pan and it dragged on my car until it broke. It was an expensive repair the very next day. Four times more than what I paid for the oil change. Never again!

Bought tires online had them shipped to my house. Took them to crystal lake Walmart. Mounted, balanced, valve stems & head light lens polishing on special. Only cost $99.00 plus tax. This cost me $175.00 at a firestone installer last time.

Told it was an hour wait for a tire repair job. After an hour and a half, they told me they couldnt get it in for another hour and twenty minutes. Couldnt have bothered to tell me that before I wasted my time waiting?

Just came back from Walmart in crystal lake I was told it would be a 2 and a half hour wait for a oil change they have 4 bays with only one vehicle in the garage smh just letting them know Im not going back

Takes them 3 hours to put 4 tires on my car when they have 4 staff members and one manager.

Called made appointment and given a time, get there and was told staff too busy need to wait 2 hours, come back after 2 hours, said mechanics left early. Told come tomorrow, came tomorrow and they said too busy all day, make another appointment. FU

Not the place to go for quick oil change. I was told they are under Construction. This is ridiculous It was 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Wouldnt even give a star today went there at 10am sign says opens at 7 am. Well then another sign below that sign says will be back at 11 am. What a whole tire and auto parts center closed for 4 hours where is the staff.
