I had had work done on my sons car by a friend, thinking that it would reduce my chances of being dealt with dishonesty...BIG MISTAKE!The friend was marginally competent, difficult to nail down as to when the repairs could be done and rarely answered calls or texts, during and after the process.After trying to get a new problem diagnosed, and having the feeling that I was getting the runaround, I went to Marcus at Gearheadz.They diagnosed the problem in 20 minutes (bad plug wires). At a cost of half of what the friend quoted to put the car on the machine (after he was unable to figure it out, just from general experience over the course of 20 days.)Marcus and crew had the car cranking right up and running smoothly within the hour!Currently, Gearheadz is re-doing work the friend had done on a near-complete A/C system replacement. The new system only lasted one season. But I am confident that the Gearheadz job will last a lifetime.Marcus guarantees it, and I trust his workmanship; but much more important than that...I Trust his Character.

Marcus the mechanic appeared to be on the up & up however my exhaust pump they put in was not installed properly. I had to keep going back & forth with the work conducted. Paige the his unprofessional assistant does not know how to follow up & conduct front office matters without steppng outside her boundaries & harrassing the customer over an $85 balance that was scheduled to come out of my account. So I decided to put in a search for some work I needed around my area around 10 pm at night on a Friday. Also, after doing that I seen a few places, however I was trying to find the closest location, and no I am not having car issues like that, I have a chevelle that needs tuned and a few other things.Out of nowhere I get a email response from Mark, he asked me what’s going on. He actually answered all of my questions. Everything sounded great until I put in the address which is only 20 miles away. I just wanted to find a great shop 5 miles away.As I did more research on Gearheads and thought about how Mark was the only one that reached out to me. So, long story short, my car is getting towed 20 miles to Gearheads, and no my car is not broken, I just rather use my roadside assistance to deliver my precious baby instead of driving it out there. The best thing about it is that I can drive it 20 miles home all tuned up 💨

Id like to point out that I owe much respect to the owner. In a time of need he fixed my truck, and it was no easy, simple fix, but offered me the best price any shop could offer by a long shot. Love these guys!! Dropped in to see how much it would be to replace my back brakes, because a co-worker had used them to do her brakes. Being a delivery driver, my vehicle is my living. They were, by far, the cheapest quote I got, so went ahead and scheduled and Marcus went ahead and ordered the parts. Once they got the brakes off, they discovered that I was gonna need to replace the drums as well. A little more than what I was expecting to pay that night, but it had to be done. They stayed until after 8, and I still paid less than what everyone else quoted just for shoes. These guys will be my go-to mechanics from here on. Thanks guys!!!!
