I was traveling and urgently needed a warranty on my vehicle since it was undrivable. The went above and beyond to quickly get me on the road again! A very pleasant experience all around!!

Some parts you just have to get from the dealership. Ordered late one evening and had it in hand early the next morning.

I walked from the Cumberland Body Shop. I walked through the KIA lot, the Chrysler lot, the Toyota lot and into the Overdrive lot. When I entered the Overdrive lot I was greeted by my first employee that wanted to help me look at vehicles. I commend them for looking out for costumers. Thank you.

2 times in a row took our car for an oil change and something is not done. This time they never checked the fluids. Radiator fluid was low!!!!!! No excuse. Oil change means you check all fluids.

Fantastic! Saturday afternoon the air conditioning, lights, etc. just stopped. Jeep Renegade, 8 months and 15k miles. I called @ 3:15 SATURDAY.... and they scooted me in, did their magic and I was gone. Very, VERY nice service people..very nice. Thank you so very much.

Overall my experience at Cumberland Auto Center has been pretty bad. I bought a 2016 Tacoma from Cumberland Toyota and the engine failed at 72,000 miles. They said it was because a rock went through the radiator and caused a leak which overheated the engine. My insurance company asked them to prove their scenario which they failed to do. Then they said they would not offer any warranty and Toyota would not do anything so I had to buy a used engine. Then they installed the engine but forgot to put an oil filter in it which I discovered on the first oil change and it failed after about 25,000 miles. Luckily I had documented and had witnesses about the oil filter because they didnt want to honor the second engine. The third engine which they would not provide documentation for has lasted for about 35,000 miles with no problems but I worry about it. I would never recommend anyone buying a vehicle from Cumberland Auto.9/4/2020 I dont really believe their sincerity. This seems nothing more than a canned sales response. A couple of other dealerships have told me that my engine would have been covered under the dealerships lifetime warranty. They said Cumberland Toyota should have covered that engine. There is no way a Toyota engine should fail after 72,000 miles with an impeccable and fully documented service record. Just to add a little more to the story, when I had the second engine and before it failed the cooling system was losing water. I called Cumberland and they said it was probably due to air burping from the cooling system and to bring it back over. This happened a couple of times and I finally insisted they check it out. They finally found a leak on a hose clamp and had to solve it by adding a second clamp. I asked if this was an approved Toyota fix. This was their fix. So, the radiator never leaked but it was due to a faulty hose clamp all the time. But, I had to pay for it. This is Cumberland Toyota. This is not all Toyota dealerships. Youd think Toyota would not allow something like this to go on but I dont know what the dealership was telling Toyota. My advice is to avoid this dealership.

Good place to buy a car

If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. First, our salesman was very nice. He had nothing to do with what is explained below. Saw a 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4 Wheel Drive located at Cumberland Auto Center advertised online. Ad showed truck was Certified Preowned. Went to Cumberland Auto Center Website to verify and it also showed the truck was Certified. Checked vehicle history report which also showed truck was Certified. Drove 2 hours to dealership looked the truck over and test drove it. Went back in to start the discussion to purchase it and was told the truck was not Certified. They said the truck had a couple panels repainted at the factory and the truck could not be certified. They also stated that it did not show on their website that the truck was Certified. I have screen shots of everything that shows otherwise.This is wrong on so many levels. This is the first review I have ever posted on a company. I want to make sure people know this happened, so they can be more aware when dealing with Cumberland Auto Center.

The good news is the car ended up completed successfully. Beware if you need follow through after the work.We came in and were told to sign a power of attourney so the insurance would pay. The man waved vaguely at the parking lot and said the car was parked out there and he sat down. When asked if they needed to go over the work with us he stated he could if we really wanted him to.After the work was completed the customer service stopped. There are plenty of body shops in Cookeville. Keep your options open.Three stars because the work was done. I would not come back here.

I needed my first oil change, and they did a great job. I was made quite comfortable in the waiting area that included free Wi-fi, television, free snacks, a private workstation, and more. They were quick and efficient, and put a removable vinyl sticker to remind me when my next oil change would be due. They were less expensive than my previous mechanic on my old car, too. (Bonus!)

Went in to have my tires rotated and my oil changed. I was charged for a tire rotation but my tires weren’t even moved. Oil was all over my hubcaps. I had just had my car detailed and it was a wreck on the outside. This happens almost every time I go here. When the service centered called to ask me how my experience was, I told her the above. Her response - “Ok. Have a good day.” Click. I was a little shocked that she didn’t seem to care. Why call?However, they did fix the problem in the ship the day of when I told them my tires weren’t rotated (but it came after a long conversation about how I needed to buy new tires).

Very relaxed place to buy a car. Everyone there was very friendly and salespeople dont put a lot of pressure on you to buy. Ronnie Bean helped us and went the extra mile. I would recommend Cumberland Auto if youre looking to buy a new or used automobile.

Great service. I made the oil change, and tire rotation appointment over the phone. They sent me a reminder the day prior. They were waiting for me when I arrived. They brought my keys out to me when they were finished, and showed me where my vehicle was parked.

With an appointment, still took 2 hours for an oil change. They overfilled the engine, just as they did the other time I brought a car in. Since they have NO quality control, since they do not check the oil level after changing the oil, you MUST check it yourself before leaving there to make sure they do not ruin your engine. Pitiful, really.

I called this dealership in regards to getting the information on who they write there gap insurance through. We refinanced a lady’s vehicle she bought through them and since our gap insurance comes included in our loans they can get there money back that they spent at the dealership. After the 6th call I got ahold of Adam and he is upset since I’m taking money out of his pocket because he makes a commission off the loans and gap insurance they sell. He didn’t care that the customer is getting back almost $800. Watch out for these guys sounds like they only care about themselves and not the best interest of the customer themselves. I’m sorry your getting a charge back for something included in our loans. I would have moved on instead of being rude to someone trying to help some else out. Stop ripping people off

Purchased car 2017 kia soul. Never told NO SPARE TIRE. WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT KIA. TIRE blew on 40 east . Called Kia service waited an hour to find out no TIRE and wrong person sent I needed a tow. Had to wait again total time almost 3 hours. Tower of course to Kia cumberland. To be told I ran over something no warranty. I never ran over a thing or hit a pot hole. So a charge for one TIRE $167.00.Now I am at Kia if I want to go to Goodyear I would have to pay another tow.I called Nexen tires consumer affairs trying to get it covered by warranty. Waiting for their answer.I also told I could buy a spare for $250.00 . Really! Again top off. If I knew no spare provided at time of sale. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE A KIA
