Good Afternoon I have been a customer with VSW Auto Repair for 3 yrs. and I have received exceptional service there was know gimmicks knowledgeable mechanics with your best interest at heart giving you nothing but the facts on repairing your vehicle. I also got a repair person for my washer and dryer very reasonable. Best service I ever had in state of Georgia in my 30 yrs. living here.

My sister loves this spot. Im not sure both times my car went there 2 days later the check engine light comes on. But my sister loves him. Im not sure

This place is amazing! They were super honest with me about my car and they could have easily taken advantage. I had unknowingly ran my car almost completely out of oil and they gave me the lowest priced oil change Ive ever had. On top of that, I mentioned I thought my timing belt was cracked and they told me most likely it wasnt, then that my serpentine belt was cracked but still had plenty of life. They told me I could stop by every month or so and they would check out my car at no cost to check on the belt and my fluids. I will definitely be going back here again and highly recommend them! Our car broke down while we were visiting from out of state. We were really in a bind, not sure who to trust in the area. These guys came through for us. Transparent pricing, great communication about the problem, and the owner had us back on the road the same day. My husband said he wishes we lived closer just to have access to these mechanics. Whenever he can, he works on our vehicles himself. This was the first shop he felt relaxed leaving our car with because they were so straight with him about everything.

I agree with the review below. I am pretty disappointed, I have used Vinny before for breaks and he was good and quick. But now I took my car to him and he had my car for two weeks and did not touch it. He had every excuse in the world, My dad is sick, my kids are sick, my employees didnt show up. I am sorry but this is a business. I need my car and I dont have time for your excuses. I ended up picking up my car after 2.5 weeks and took it to another mechanic. I am not sure what is going on there but I hope it gets fixed.

Had check engine light, cylinder misfire and emission leak. Got new plugs over the misfire, emission leak required a smoke test and ended up pointing to needing a new fuel neck, issues ordering that, old, they said $200+, but couldnt get it. I found one online for $60, wasnt sure if it was the right part, tried sending them the page so they could confirm. Didnt get my first mail, second day guy did get it, but ignored it, gave me a part number. Which was the same number at the bottom of the page, so I ordered it. Took several days to arrive, then guy was too busy to see me/finish the repairs, had to wait another week. Yet he couldnt answer my car was safe to drive. He knew I was ordering a part/should have planned on me showing up for repair. But I waited. After repair? Bill seemed small, *I* commented. He said he gave me a break on fuel-neck labor. The wait, the worry, etc, barely made it worth that, but how nice of him to do that, finally.After driving a few days, stopped for gas, filled up and noticed gas was leaking out the back of the car. Took the car straight to him, nevermind I was supposed to go to work that day. At the end of the day he calls and lets me know its leaking. 4 hours for him to catch up to my assessment, and Im not even a trained mechanic. He acts like I ordered the wrong neck, I had to dig up the webpage I bought from, which hed ignored, showed him again/pointed out the part number matched. He also gave me a part number for a seal -- seals hadnt even come up until that day! But apparently a new seal is always required, so odd he didnt mention it. Less odd after he mentioned hed never done this repair before, a point he should have mentioned outright.I hoped hed finish the next day in time for me to go to work, he didnt. Around work-departure time another guy called, noted price for seal and labor, but I objected, wed settled up on the repair already, it just wasnt repaired. I should pay more for unknowingly riding around in a potential fireball, then noticing/wanting it right, and missing two days of work? I still wanted to talk to the boss, felt like he was ducking me.Third day they called, other-guy-still, said it was fixed, no charge. Boss was at his office desk when I showed up, but left, had me talk with an other-guy -- had me sign a receipt saying no charge, but that they didnt wanna see me or my car again. If there were problems with their work, theyd pay someone else to fix it instead. Antisocial. Id endured safety risks, missed work for trusting their repairs, seems they were just learning/did it wrong/wanted me to pay for it, and were upset I dared voice how wrong that seemed. So dont come back -- was I going to? -- it was akin to some petulant girlfriend dumping you because she knows youre already dumping her.Car felt like it shook a lil -- didnt seem to be running as smooth as their first repair. I thought maybe I was imagining this, Im always a bit critical when someones been tinkering on my vehicle. I was days behind on Christmas shopping for having no car, spent yesterday going around picking up stuff for coworkers, etc -- Monday (12/23) will be the last pre-Christmas workday/gotta be ready. Did most of my shopping. Was about to go out today, steering wheel was shaking so badly I aborted the trip, had to go to Roswell from Conyers, didnt seem safe.Im sure theyve done nothing to the car and whatever bolts holding my steering/engine in place, or whatever, just randomly fell off on their own. Without them loosening anything at all. Because that would be wrong, horrible, etc -- akin to not fixing a repair that wasnt a repair, for no extra charge. Suffice Ill have to go to another mechanic, who probably wont be free until after Christmas, to find out what happened. And maybe it wasnt VSW, but the timing is just amazing, isnt it?Skip these guys. Ive found some bad mechanics since JR Auto & Tire closed -- but I would never have imagined finding folk this bad would be possible. Cars in worse shape it seems, and they cost folks Christmas.

Fair, honest pricing. I needed a major repair and everyone else (5 different estimates) was saying $500 or more. VSW charged me way less and I didnt need to sit there all day.

Its hard to believe that this business has any good reviews. My car has been at this shop for 2months and every time u ask about the status of the car, his father is sick or his business is closed while the car sits in the same spot collecting dust. He even goes to say they keep sending him the wrong part. How many times can u use that line?

Weve taken my wifes Acura MDX to Vinny at VSW Auto Repair before for brakes and while his shop isnt a show room and his prices arent the cheapest (he always insists on Japanese parts), I thought he did an ok job. He seemed honest and like an upfront, truthful, mechanic. Recently my wifes MDXs check engine light and VTM4 light came on and according to my obd2 scanner it was a cylinder misfire. We took the car to Vinny and after 2 days he called and stated we needed all new spark plugs and coil packs (he recommended the better quality Japanese plugs and packs of course). I agreed to the ~$250 service. He then called me a day later and stated one of the spark plugs mustve broke off previously in the cylinder and now the car was reading only 60PSI on a compression test for that cylinder. He recommended a replacement motor and while is I was shocked that it needed this, I said please give me a quote, as his explanation sounded accurate. He said maybe he could take the head off and fix it or at least diagnose the damage the broke spark plug caused. 4 days turned into 4 weeks, with every excuse my wife listed in her review below (sick father, sick kids of employees, no help, etc.). He kept saying hed call by a certain time and date and those times always came and went with just another excuse when I asked why he didnt call. We ended up taking the car to ART at AUTO TECH SERVICE CENTER just down the road. He noticed the spark plug Vinny said broke off pulled the threads out of the block, so he stated youd be unable to get a compression tool in there and you certainly wouldnt get an accurate reading even if you could. He ended up fixing it in 1 day for a very reasonable price. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO VINNY AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER!!!
