Hertz went above and beyond in getting me into a nice rental quickly and safely. I was met at the area I was leaving my vehicle for work. Pleasant gentleman went through all with me, even warning they charged $9 per gallon on gas if needed placed. So cool..!

Guy was super rude and made us call our insurance to verify and still gave us a hard time. Never had this issue with any other car rental places. Probably never using Hertz again bc of him. Enterprise has better service.

Difficult to find with no signage. The door to their lobby is at the back of the building, while GPS will take you to the front and no access there. Thats why I only gave 3 stars.Besides that painful experience trying to find them, the service was fine. No WOW experience. This was my 1st time using Hertz.

I’m shocked to see these reviews! I found myself in a bind with a car at the mechanic and not being able to call off work we called Hertz. It was close, great pricing, and they had something same day. Dakota went above and beyond the entire day I had this car. From delivery of the vehicle to after hour assistance I felt I was given the red carpet treatment to the extent I told my husband let’s just skip repairing and rent cars on demand as needed. I’m not sure if this is under new management or if I just ended up with a great experience based on the day. However I cannot recommend enough to give this place a try if you find yourself needing a quick, easy, friendly experience with a car rental

If I could put zero stars I would. Was told I could leave my car at the rental location while I had the rental but my car was towed and I had to pay to get my car back. Got it back just to see that someone hit the back end of my car. Was told there’s nothing they can do and I am responsible for all fees. Fast forward to this week. My rentals been back for a week and I was charged when insurance was suppose to be charged for everything. No one can tell me why I’ve been charged these additional charges. My advice and run and rent elsewhere not worth the stress they are gonna cause.

Im a store manager for Uhual moving and storage in Memphis,Tn. Was stranded in Ohio after assisting a old lady and her husband with a move from Memphis to Ohio. The people at Hertz wouldnt assist me or even point me in the right direction to rent a car. I ended up having to drive the uhual back to Memphis. Horrible experience.

If you got a free loaner from one of the dealerships close by avoid this place like the plague. This place is shady. It is crammed in a one room office in a office building you have to be buzzed into. Must have great neighbors. After showing them my valid proof of insurance, they called my insurance company and then wanted me to give them my PIN and personal information standing there in front of everyone in the room who were holding onto my ID. Can you say identity theft? I am a veteran and use USAA so all of my financial information is tied to my insurance account. To their credit, USAA verified my insurance using my service dates and military branch. In 26 years of renting cars Ive never had my insurance called in. I am assuming it was because this guy thought he could charge me the extra $14.95 a day for a free car if he gigged me on insurance. I declined and was taken out back to a dirty dented car. I pointed out the dents in the car and the dirty drivers seat and asked the guy to note it on the contract. He made some vague notes about dents and didnt note the dirty interior. I had to go around the car with the contract and specifically document all of the dings myself using the form provided. I was so concerned about being charged for damage that I called the 800 number on the contract to make note of my experience at the branch. Despite having the contract with all its information in hand, nobody at Hertz could find my rental or help me in any way other than to say that I should call the place I had just come from. I was transferred 3 times and ended up in the queue for emergency roadside assistance when I gave up and hung up. I prepared myself the hail damage and detailing charges to appear on my credit card. Luckily they did not. Given the stories in the news of people being ripped off by car rental companies, I am shocked that a national company like Hertz operates out of one room offices with poorly trained staff that dont know how to fill out paperwork. Furthermore, their national hotline cant support their customers or even find a rental agreement in the case of a local office that is terrible. Knowing this now, Ill never rent from Hertz again.

Filled up tank with as much fuel as it would allow me to put in. Drove 1 block to Hertz and it showed 7/8 tank of gas. Girl at desk went and drove it before saying it finally went up to 8/8. A deposit was put on my bank account, and the entire deposit cleared my account although my total rental charge was much less. I need my money back NOW. Friendliness by girl at front desk left a lot to be desired.

I received a rental car from this company from my auto dealership. Apon returning the car because the car was less than 2 gallons of gas from the full line the company charged $15 dollar to fill up less than 2 gallons of gas!!!! After calling on this per there policy you are charged $8 per gallon if its not past the full line. Complete robbery on a rental that takes maybe $20 to fill. Do not recommend this place as I have rented cars from other companies and no one has ever done that due to less than 2 gallons of gas.

I absolutely do not recommend this company to anyone and especially this location. I was dealing with an insurance claim and they were the option for me to receive a rental. They explained to me to fill the car back up in order to avoid any additional fees, in which I made sure I did. They ended up charging me $18 on my card because they said the gas was at 7/8 of a tank and that was still failure to fuel. I am terribly sorry I miscalculated 1/8 worth of gas!?? Employee was very rude and told me we went over everything with you, and you still didnt fuel Very petty on their part, never again Hertz.

A huge disaster. Apparently they moved their location a week ago, but didn’t update their website or anything. The Hyundai dealership they used to be located in didn’t know where they moved to, and no one answers when I call Hertz. There’s an option to leave a voicemail, but the mailbox is full. I had to cancel my trip because I couldn’t find their location to pick up my rental car.

Never again. The vehicle was dirty upon getting it and the employee that assisted me was rude and not very welcoming. Also, They are charging me for 1.8 gallons of gas claiming I didnt fill it up. I spent too much time arguing with a manager telling her I even have the receipt to prove I filled it. It was full when I dropped it to the dodge dealership less than a 1/4 mile down the road. After looking at some of the other reviews its clear to me they need help. Yikes!! I would stay clear of this place!!

When I called this Hertz location, after a reservation had been sent from my State Farm Insurance, I was told (in a hyper and rude manner by a female who I would later meet ) You didnt give me much notice. I had called her around 1:30-1:40 pm and planned on picking car up at 2:30pm. When I arrived, an Asian, slender, young woman, was working at the main desk, with the only other customer (who was also female, FYI). There was an older gentleman sitting at a desk to the left of the entrance. I stood for several minutes behind the current and only customer, until I decided that I would help myself to a seat in the little sitting area (No, I was not acknowledged and offered a seat in the sitting area). I waited patiently until the young woman finished with the previous customer, then approached the desk, once I was acknowledged. She proceeded to go through all the routine information and paperwork involved in renting a car...she also asked what kind of accident I had been in (which was none of her business). She then needed my credit card and drivers license--upon return of the.cards to me, she said your looks have changed since when you had that taken. I knew this was a rude and negative comment, because I looked bad that day, as I have been exhausted from my own illness/disability, have been gone out of state to help a family member with their illness/death, then dealing with the stress of a deer/car accident out of state, and moving to a new apartment. Then she kept repeating, youre taking my last car, youre taking my last car. And rushed through the car inspection with me, as well (I was the only customer). All I want to say is.......this is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and you may want to do some education! Oh, on the last note....I replied Thanks for sharing, when she made the comment about my appearance. I am a Registered Nurse by profession, so I have much customer service experience......she needed to be kind and courteous and keep the comments to herself. Thank God, this is only the 2nd time I have ever rented a car in my 53 years of life!

Wouldnt rent a car from here again. You have to show proof of your full coverage insurance, yet they still tell you that you should get theirs. Thinking I had to, I did. Turns out my insurance would have covered me. Last time I was hit in a car accident I had enterprise and they didnt charge me anything.

I was there picking up a rental paid by Jeep due to my warranty I paid extra for. This was the worst customer service experience by a rental car company I have dealt with. I rent a car every month from various car rental places “Enterprise” “Sixth” and Budget. They always treated me as a customer not as a bothersome annoyance and treated like I was liar even with paperwork from the dealership. The person I dealt with was rude multiple times to me and my wife, his last name was Snowden. We didn’t get a comparable vehicle even though there are two in his lot he but he said he had none.... receiving one is part of the warranties agreement. I fully expect this person to seek retrobution on us for this review. I will just take pictures of everything and make sure I notify corporate as well. Will not do business with them personally and will speak to the manager at the nearby Jeep dealership.Wish I could give zero stars.Avoid at all cost this place and especially an employee named Snowden.

The chick kat who works here has the iq of a cold winters day. She also lies and makes up stories with no proof to back her claims. You would be better renting a horse from one of the bonanza indians. This place is an absolute joke!!!! I will be bashing this pos company for the rest of my life and steering everyone i can away from these worthless idiots. Also, it should be zero stars. First I’ll say Jason who I just spoke with( hope that’s your name) was great!! Now everyone else; not so much!! I’m too irritated and upset to go into detail so I’ll trll the short story. Basically my kids fathers rented a car years ago and I was a driver. He turned it in 1 or 2 days late, paid the fees and all. But now he and I both are on the “DO NOT RENT” list. When I went in there one of the girls was very understanding and helpful the other basically said I should hang up the phone and go home because they couldn’t do anything for me. And the customer service number I was calling won’t fix it for me she said as well. I was shocked at her negative statement and told her I won’t accept that answer and if everyone in the world listened to people like her we’d all basically be failures!! Anyways, I get the number of Liana Johnson I left her multiple messages mind you since I’m without a car. Oh yes I was in a car accident and my insurance is covering the rental!! I lcalled today as well. When I get a call back it’s her number but it’s not her it’s a man. I am always good about getting names and this time I didn’t. But she knows who she had call me. He made fun of me when I asked how to fix this. He stated I don’t know let me look in my head into the future!!! He said there was nothing he or they could do for me. I said so what’s the point if I can’t resolve this issue? He kept speaking over me when i was asking for Liana, then he HANGS UP ON ME!!! Lastly the DISTRICT MANAGER KNOWS ALL THIS AND WONT HELP TO FIX IT. CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE CORPORATE LEVEL,ACCORDING TO TASHA, I AM GOOD TO GO!!! BUT I GUESS THIS IS OK WITH HERTZ LOCATION AT AUTOMALL DR THE TREATMENT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS IS JUST GREAT ISNT IT!!!!I DONT EVEN WANT TO GUVE 1 STAR

Had trouble renting a car because I did not have a credit card and I was from Australia. The manager called their competitors to see if they could help, but with no luck. Several days later, they came up with a solution and because of the delays they gave me a discount and a larger car at a smaller car cost.
