I called Northwest appliance recently. They were able to get me in within a few days from a cancellation they had, but the wait would have been less than a week even if that had not happened. My dryer stopped drying my clothes. Its 12 years old and Northwest appliance did a maintenance on it 6 years ago. Ive referred many of my customers to them and theyve helped out several people in my own family in the past. I think they should be more clear about the $99 service fee for their appointments but Ive done business with them in the past and I read the other reviews so I was well aware of the fee. Chris has been with the company for many many years and was in fact the same guy who fixed the dryer the last time. He called exactly when I expected and was on time based on his estimated arrival. He had no problem letting me hover over the work area and observe him on what he was doing and he explained everything as I asked about different parts. For less than a third of the cost of a new dryer, Im back up and running with full confidence. I highly recommend Northwest appliance for any appliance needs in the kitchen or laundry.

Nothing but praise for Chris and Northwest Appliance. Chris was here when he said he would be, was thorough, neat and communicated clearly. He told us what it would cost before he did the work and pointed out their guarantee. A first class experience.

Very impressed with these guys. Had a non-functional fridge. Dave moved some things around to ensure someone came out the next day so I wouldnt lose food. Chris diagnosed the issue, but they didnt have the part, so he rigged up a temporary solution to get things functional until the part came in next week. He also made good recommendations to save me money. Outstanding!

Love these guys and gals. After calling 4-5 companies one of my moms groups shared this repair co with our group. Several moms chimed in and suggested this company. Short version 2 boys in private schools and a broken stack washer/dryer. With the dirty uniforms piling up they were able to fit us in next day. Totally save the day. Brad had us up and running within and hour. Great people and great service!!!! A+++++

Although I had to wait about 10 days for the service call because they (like everyone else) are super busy. The tech was polite, friendly, and diagnosed my issue quickly. He provided options for repair and was up front about pricing. Id recommend them to others.

Last night our oven seemed to catch fire while baking a chicken. Wife panicked luckily we called this company. They came out within 24hrs of me calling. Replaced our bake element and we were back up and baking within an hour. Recently got laid off and didnt want to go shopping for new. Thanks Northwest for saving the DAY!!!!

Chris was professional, called ahead/showed up on time, used covid precautions, reviewed the problems and fixes, quick, efficient and kind. Would highly recommend.

Be aware of service call fee they would not disclose upfront. Their technician came out to diagnose the problem and told me it it would not worth fixing the problem since it would cost more than the cost of replacing the refrigerator. But I was to pay $99.97 plus tax ($107) for service call. Never was I told about service call. I could have made a decision not to have them come out had I known this up front.

Called kind of desperate not expecting much. To my surprise Northwest was able to schedule us for 2 days out and proceeded to put us on a standby list. 20 mins later David from Northwest called us up and said he just had a cancelation and a technician could be by today. This was a tremendous relief because our refrigerator was out and we had just loaded it up with groceries. Nick from Northwest showed up explained the problem and after our ok started the repair. He even thawed our ice build up so the fridge would temporarily work till his return with the part we needed. Amazing service and a refreshing experience since using a lot of companies in the past that were very lacking in every aspect of appliance repair. Go with these guys you wont be sorry you did. AAAA++++++

Terrible customer service...I was explaining the issues I’ve been having with my refrigerator proceeded to show pictures and videos of the issues I’ve been experiencing and the tech just got up and walked right out of my house... the worst I would never recommend anyone to go through what I went through... paid over $100 for nothing... thanks a lot northwest appliance.

This is the worst place to get for appliance repair because you schedule an appointment and then they dont even show all they do is call you and expect you to call them back with in a 15 minutes window and if you are busy with something and dont hear the phone then they just continue on to the next job and you have to reschedule for the next week instead of being able to reschedule for later this week.

From the very first phone call, they were professional, honest and considerate. The first visit was essentially an assessment as they had to order the part. When they came for the repair visit, it went very smoothly and they were able to finish the job. Each time I was their first appointment, the repairmen were prompt, polite, friendly, honest. I would definitely hire them again.

The Agent tested componets of my refrigerator quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company.

These guys and gals are great. Called yesterday with a washer problem. They were knowledgeable and understanding of my need for fast service(3 kids and a stress out wife) The next day Brad showed up on time and provided us with a repair solution. Called this morning to get my refrigerator repaired. We have a newborn so we didnt want to lose breast milk. I called at 9.15am they had a technician to me by 10.45am. They found the issue and had the part on the truck. We are back up and running thanks to Northwest. Will keep their number handy for next time. Prompt professional service.

I called up this morning to see if they had a part for my older refrigerator. He did not but he was able to get one in that day! I was able to come by and get it. Now my fridge is back in working order. Price was fair and he was very helpful.

Horrible experience. I have a refrigerator and stove that need service. I shared information on the models of the appliances and provided details on what was required on 2 of the 3 issues being experienced. After scheduling an appointment the following week and taking the afternoon off to meet the technician, the tech arrived with no parts for any of the issues. I was charged $150 to be told I was right on the two issues and that the third would cost more than the refrigerator is worth. None of my issues were fixed and I am out $150. I would not recommend this company for any reason.

We had a refrigerator only 6 years old making outrageous noises. One serviceman from another company told us wed need to replace the compressor, at a cost at half the price of a new fridge! Had Northwest come out and they replaced a dampner for 1/4 the cost. They also replaced a couple knobs and a timer and start switch on the dryer. Chris was the technician and was friendly, cleaned as he went through the fridge taking shelves and parts out, totally cleaned up after everything. Called on Monday, first visit on Tuesday, ordered part and offered repair for Friday, I was busy, so repaired first thing the following Monday morning.This appliance repair company will be my go to from now on.

Had northwest appliance just out at my house. Called this morning with a refrigerator that stopped cooling overnight. Within 1 hour they had a technician to my house. He diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor and had one on his truck. gave me an estimate and had it working in about 25mins. Absolutely impressed with these guys. Fast professional and polite. Reading the other reviews on google I was skeptical but after reading thru the bitter people I found good content from acual customers. Definatly using these guys again. A++++

Dont waste your time calling them. Took 3 days for them to come out to diagnose problem with KitchenAid microwave/oven wall unit. Another week (after me having to make calls to schedule) to get them to come back out to perform necessary work/repair. Was charged over $180/hr per technician (3 total hours = $540!) Called to complain with manager and received no return call.

Super expensive! $250.00 charge for a $30 part (Samsung dryer). Took him about 30 minutes to install. Trip charge, labor charge, etc. When I questioned the installer, he said *everyone* charges this much. I told him, never gain!PS-- looks like all the 5 star reviews are bought and paid for. No words.... just high rating with no reason why. BEWARE!

I called on a Thursday and indicated very clearly that I needed a garbage disposal replaced for a rental unit. I provided credit card information to place on file at that time. We set an appointment window for the following Monday from Noon-4 pm. The tech showed up after the window with no parts to complete the replacement. An appointment was set-up for the next day to complete the installation. I received a call to authorize the charges, which was granted, and yet the technician failed to show-up at the designated time. They eventually told us to find someone else, blaming my tenant for being frustrated by having to be inconvenienced for three consecutive days for a simple installation job.UPDATE (6/13): I was just called and berated by an employee of this company and was called an expletive for leaving a negative review.

Just the most unprofessional call handlers, extremely unhelpful. Not rude as such, just unwilling to help - ask them anything difficult and you get left hanging for an answer as though you have just asked the most stupid question which does not merit their time to answer.

They are terrible. They did not do the repair correctly and then did not come back out to fix it. The owner said I could fight him with the BBB, which I did, but he said he has a lot of experience with them. Take from that what you will. BE WARNED, use this company at your peril.

Had two different service technicians come out with in 3 weeks. The first tech was nice and professional and defrosted the back panel of my GE refrigerator that was frozen and throwing my temperature off in the refrigerator. Well, two weeks later I had the same problems, the refrigerators temperature was going up to 60 degrees. The second tech that came out had an attitude and told me that the reason my refrigerator was not functioning properly was because the middle flap wasn’t closing, after I assured him that I kept it closed. He told me he was going to make an adjustment to the door and then realized he couldn’t because there was a problem with the henge. After speaking with his boss he informed me that I should call GE for service. Which I did, and when they arrived they hooked up a computer to my refrigerator and told me the fan was not working and needed replaced. Mind you, that was two minutes into being here. Moral of the story, call the manufacturer of whatever appliance you need repaired because these guys will just keep trying to get money out of you and they don’t know what are doing.
