Unprofessional. Unreliable. Unresponsive.They gave a selection of times and days for tour availability. They sent multiple texts and emails to confirm tour date. Although I confirmed a tour within 24 hours, they cancelled it minutes before the showing with no reason. This happened TWICE. I gave them two chances. They failed me. If you are looking to rent, stay away from this company. I highly do not recommend their services.

She was very professional, Responsive and consistent throughout the process and I could call her for any questions I had. I don’t know how this company is if you are a tenant but when you are the property owner they are not professional and do a bad job. I would never recommend to use them to rent your property. They don’t communicate and they don’t make sure all legal paper work is filled out correctly. Only gave them a one cause there isn’t a zero.

Rose was great to work with. I felt very comfortable interacting with her. She provided vital information to get me started and make practical decisions on rent rate. She respected my stance on being an unknown landlord to my tenants and not meeting them which I sincerely appreciated. And most importantly Rose was able to find a qualified tenant within my timeframe. All that said, she was definitely excellent. :)

I appreciate that RW does not bundle property management with finding tenants, thus saving me quite a bit of money. They were invaluable many times and came thru when I needed help with replacing appliances. I had good experiences with everyone I interacted with.

I would recommend avoiding renting anywhere managed by Renters Warehouse. Over the past year, we have had multiple AC problems, a broken water heater, plumbing issues, and electrical problems. Each time RW asks us to try some bandaid fix. At one point they sent us a YouTube video on how to fix an issue with our water heater — we stupidly attempted their suggestions and about half way through disassembling the heater we realized it required some specialized tool we do not have.The house is relatively new but is filled with questionable work — likely due to this approach of asking tenants to fix issues a professional is needed for. They balk at any request to send an actual professional and make multi-day issues out of problems that should be solved in an afternoon by hiring a competent professional immediately when a problem arises. They advertise 9-5 but it seems like they start work a little after noon and finish up around 3, so it can be difficult to get them to schedule appointments when maintenance is needed.If you are a landlord and are looking into RW - consider that while they may save you money in the short term with this approach, they will sour any chance at retaining these tenants for a renewed lease and will likely encourage tenants to make repairs themselves opening you up to liability and damage to your property.

Renters Warehouse Columbia, MD has got to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. They charged us 1 and 1/2 times the rent to place people in our beautiful home. These people absolutely destroyed our house, failed to pay rent rent which eventually took us took years to get them evicted. They failed to pay any of their Bills which has now led to a lien being placed on our house by Baltimore County water. The house is now infested with roaches and other bugs. on top of the $2,200 we paid Renters Warehouse to place these people we paid $119 a month for them to do absolutely nothing. And now that we finally have these disgusting renters out, Renters Warehouse had the nerve to ask if we want to use them for future tenants. I would never recommend this company to anyone EVER. If you are currently using Renters Warehouse get out now. They are terrible.

A friend recommended me to the Renters Warehouse. After I signed the contract with them, they found the tenants in one week and the tenants moved in on the 2nd week. The Renters Warehouse also assisted me to fix the fridge upon the tenants’ request. They provide professional service and also respond to my questions quickly. I have good experiences with them.

After a year of dealing with Renters Warehouse, I have dealt with unprofessional scheduling of vendors of repairs/etc where they just sent someone to the house without confirming times with us (or suddenly changing times); outrageous late fees when you’re ONE day late with payment even after paying on time for 7 months; and finally their online portal is designed to take your money and refusing to give it back. My roommate forgot to cancel the auto payments and instead of being understanding they are refusing to pay and are incredibly rude over the phone as we try and fix the issue.I will not be renting anywhere through renters warehouse in the future. I’ve had 4 other landlords in this area and NEVER had issues.

This is my first rental property and as such was a huge learning experience. Its important to know to separate tenant placement vs property management. The tenant placing process was disappointing and we got off on the wrong foot; however, I am much more pleased with the staff in the corporate office who are responsible for the property management. They are prompt, professional, and courteous. Now that I know what to expect, I would consider using them again for managing my next property, but I will probably seek another avenue for tenant placement. Time will tell.

Very Disappointed in the employees that they use to rent the property.I had decided to give Renters Warehouse another try after dealing with a rep a couple of years ago that had completely wasted my time. I restarted the process with a rep named Jim. Two months after giving him the keys to the home I still hadnt heard from him. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. I then called the company and complained and they switched the rep to Brianna. After another 2 months of no tenant, she said she could no longer represent me because of crime in the neighborhood. Its Baltimore City, you would think that she would know the whole city has a crime issue. She then said she was going to mail me the keys back. Three weeks later i still dont have the keys. When landords have vacant homes, they are losing a lot of income. These reps had no sense of urgency, absolutely no communication, and no professionalism. i couldnt imagine treating my customers that way and still be employed. The office staff were very friendly and did listen to my concerns. i wish i would have had the opportunity to see how they managed the property. Since then, i have found another company with a rep that is amazing. She worked very hard and got the home rented. She communicated every step of the way and even helped get a problem fixed. Companies are only as good as the employees that represent them. The Baltimore City side of the company needs better employees.

We reached out to renters warehouse months ago and relied on their consultation for estimated starting rental price. Months later and no renter! The first potential renter backed out and Renters Warehouse didn’t even have the decency to let us know until we discovered they hadn’t moved in and inquired. The second renter backed out as well and once again, we had to inquire to even get that status update. I would hope working with an organization such as this we would be able to rely on them from a rent assessment consultation and the decency of communication. Boy, I was wrong! Currently searching for an alternate company. Never never work with them! If you have the luxury of missing out on multiple months of rent it may be okay but we have nothing positive to say.To Renters Warehouse Admin: I, do in fact have the correct organization. Your contract is with my husband which is why you cannot connect *my* name with a contract. Still highly disappointed- would not recommend anyone to use your services.

I was a tenant of Renters Warehouse and every single experience with them was top notch. Ive never had a better experience renting than with them. Every issue was immediately taken care of, all the staff was pleseant, and when I had an emergency with my property ( turns out it was my own perceived emergency but still) Tom was around within the hour. AMAZING thru and thru. If I ever decide to buy property and rent it out I already know who I will hire for property management.

Renters Warehouse found me a renter within a week of having the property listed.Whenever I have contacted the company to relay messages to the tenants, they reply almost immediately.The only negative has been no details provided on how to set up an account on their website. I figured it out on my own.

What are you waiting for? $99 - 119 bucks a month! I challenge you to find a better deal after working with this awesome team. I promise this challenge will not have a better ending. Their management of my property has not been without hiccups and I havent always been thrilled with the job theyve done, especially with their communication skills, but overall they are good value for the cost compared to other property managers.I would recommend them to any first time or part-time land lords that dont have the time or patience to deal with a lot of the annoying day-to-day things that come with being one.

After a nightmare experience with another property management company in the area we were hesitant to use another. However, Renters Warehouse does not lock you into a contract for their property management and knowing that if we had issues we could leave at any time it was a safe thing to try out.Thank goodness we gave Renters Warehouse the opportunity to gain our trust. Immediately upon meeting with their Leasing Agent, Joyce, we could tell this company was different. We talked through what they do that allows them to provide property management for only $80/month vs. the industry standard 10%/month that everybody else charges. Essentially they manage to do this by running extremely efficient operations that allow them to keep costs down and they pass those savings along to their customers.Joyce was able to find highly qualified tenants for two of our properties in a short period of time and keep in constant communication with us throughout the entire process.Once we transitioned from the tenant placement phase to the ongoing property management we were even more impressed with the quality of service. Jessica, their Maintenance Manager, has consistently provided excellent service any time our tenants have needed anything and has also worked with high quality contractors who provide service at very affordable rates. When a contractor we recommended was not provided the consistency of communication necessary while completing a job she stayed on top of them to make sure everything was fully completely in a timely manner.On the few occasions weve spoke with David, the franchise owner, he has been extremely professional and has been able to provide top notch advice even consulting their attorney with a difficult situation we encountered with one tenant.Overall, you will not find a property management company in the Baltimore/DC metro area with a higher level of service at more competitive rates. I just started using these guys and have been pleased so far. I have saved a lot of time by using these guys! They have been very helpful overall and the monthly statements sent out are a nice snapshot of the months events. I wish I could know about the cost of repairs after they occur or shortly after the person comes out rather than waiting for monthly statements but some people may prefer less info to be more hands off.

First time using a tenant placement service and property management service. Weve always managed the property ourselves in the past but RW came highly recommended. Wish we had done it sooner. Good communication was key and everyone has been very responsive. Very professional and competent overall.

Joyce H was so amazing through the entire process. I was just a voice on the phone trying to secure this house many many miles away due to military relocation. There were many locals wanting to rent it but thankfulky she chose us. If you are a military family relocating to MD I would definitely give her a call. It’s nice having someone one my side from so far away and hearing our story and giving us a chance with the rental.

These people are lying crooks. We spent over a year trying to get the house we rented into a livable condition, with all plumbing and electrical up to regular safety standards, and we ultimately gave up and had to move out. For a year, they refused to admit to and take care of a severe cricket infestation - we tried to keep the yard and all windows and doors clean and pruned to keep the insects out, to no avail. They would call in experts to inspect and repair, and they would leave saying nothing was wrong, or worse, that it was severely broken and unsafe, and then do nothing. We moved in to trash, dirt, and mold - we noted it and tried to get it fixed, and even had the house professionally cleaned when we moved out, but it didnt matter. They had unsafely and incorrectly installed a dryer, and when it broke, installed a new one the same way. It wasnt until an actual honest repairman who was miraculously working with us to repair the mold problem found that the dryer was venting straight into the wall - a severe and dangerous fire hazard.When we left, they told us not to do any repairs or repainting, and during our walk-through, they said it looked better than before, and everything was fine. They then charged us excessively for damage and repainting.If they had been honest with us, we would have fixed whatever they wanted before handing over our keys. They cheated us, and only care about the landlords and owners. Dont rent from these people, they dont care about you, and wont care if your life is in danger. Save yourself the grief and money.

I have been dealing with RW for approximately two years now and I have been nothing but happy with the service. Recently, I had both of my washer and dryers go out on me and Elizabeth assisted me in ever way and even suggesting the most economic and expedient route to repair the units. I am so happy that even though I am away from the country, RW and it’s wonderful staff has my best interest and trustworthiness. Highly recommend please do not use another property management company RW is your solution!

My personal experience was terrible with RW. Not only did my Rental Agent, Joyce, say numerous derogatory things about my home on video while speaking with potential renters, once we complained, the move out agent told our ex tenants that she would not video the inspection because we previously complained about their lack of professionalism. We made upgrades such as putting in new carpet, only to have their agents tell potential tenants that the carpet looked dirty; impossible since it was replaced two days prior to move in. Additionally, their agents made assurances and claims to tenants that we never cleared them to make, and when our home was destroyed by tenants, they tried to persuade us to return the majority of the deposit to them. Repairs ending up costing us $4,000. Homeowners beware.

After deciding to rent our old home versus selling it, my wife and I were a little intimidated about the whole rental process. You are immediately paired up with a representative who visits your home and guides you through the process. Ours (Tom) was very knowledgeable and responsive to any issues we had. Though it took longer than expected to place someone in our house, we did have the holidays to contend with and ongoing upgrades we were doing. I would recommend Renters Warehouse as their fees are reasonable compared to all of the leg work one would need to do if they were to go out on their own and the expertise they bring is well worth the expense.

They work with you to make the proper arrangements and understand communication is key to have a excellent partnership. I have and I will continue to recommend them to others.

My experience with Renters Warehouse has been great so far. I contacted the company back in December 2016 after hearing about it on the radio. They were the first and only renting company I contacted. After meeting Emily Athens, the Real Estate Coordinator, I knew that I found a really good company. Emily came to my home and gave my husband and I all the information we needed to rent our home. She worked everyday to show our home, and had a contract for a renter within 7 days. Renter Warehouses website is everything that it says. I am beyond pleased with the services.

I have used Renters Warehouse for 3.5 years to manage my rental property. I am very satisfied with their customer service. Whenever there is an issue with my property, Renters Warehouse takes care of the problem quickly and professionally. Renters Warehouse has been great to work with. The process has been pretty smooth so far and the property manager has really communicative. We have 3 properties with RW so far. We got longer leases, more for the monthly rent, and better tenants then if we did it on our own.

Renters Warehouse is the best property management company I have ever used. They are profession and prompt to answer any of my questions. They send easy to read monthly reports and end of the year tax information. The last tenant I had broke her lease and they handled all the paperwork and management of getting her to cover the lease and utilities until they found me a new tenant.Additionally I have sold real estate for over 30 years in California and through that I have dealt with many property management companies and I have never had this great an experience.I would recommend anyone who asked to use Renters Warehouse.

Update: Renters Warehouse is great for tenants but not so much for landlords. They will allow tenants to make all types of claims and believe them without investigating and then subtract maintenance cost from your rent payments for everything. If you need a property management I would suggest looking elsewhere but they are ok for placement.I would highly recommend Renters Warehouse for any Landlords looking for quality tenant placement services. I would have given 5 stars but I am also using them for Property Management in which I recently elected to do and therefore I am waiting to see how goes before completing a review on that service as well but I would share so far so good.

I have heard so many mix reviews regarding management companies so I really did not want one until I hired Renters Warehouse. I have been with Renters Warehouse as my management company for a few years now and I am so happy that I found them. They have been great, took care of all my rental houses issues. My tenant required lots of help these past few years but I am so grateful that Renters Warehouse was there to help me handle all the problems. You couldnt ask for more professional service. They are by far the most focused and prompt property management company I have ever dealt with. Their team is top notch. Renters Warehouse BW Metro was incredibly easy to work with!! I love how automated the processes are and that you can do signatures thru a secure portal!! Made it very easy to complete the paperwork and get copies of signed agreements! Catherine has been incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with in this process!!!

It was a comfortable ride so far with Rental Warehouse BW Metro. Joyce, our leasing agent, was able to find tenants in 3-4 weeks. She advised on the repairs we need to get before tenants move in and has also kept in constant touch with me and my tenants.

I was in the process of moving with my family but we didnt want to sell our home. A friend recommended Renters Warehouse and we called and met with a leasing agent. We felt a comfort with this management . We are actually not even in the states and they been doing an excellent job managing our home. The rent is always on time for us to pay our mortgage. I have had nothing but trouble with this place it is been an absolute nightmare here. I guarantee you if they would give me the address and the information of the actual homeowner I would get things done a little bit quicker and I’m not even sure if the homeowner knows what’s going on I’m sure they would drop them in a heartbeat if that was the case. Their maintenance sucks the guys coming here drunk and smelling of marijuana they did a plumbing job for me and then $1100 later so that I have to pay it I don’t think so I’m getting a lawyer and they will hear from him unfortunately for them it’s my father and he will reach out and use all his resources possible so that this doesn’t happen again to anybody else I’m a single mother it’s hard enough I shouldn’t have to deal with an in adequate And unfair management company but does nothing but try to charge the tenant for every little thing that happens like it’s my fault this is my first two days here very unhappy the worst place in the world to rent from renters be where Runaway now please do yourself a favor.
