I have lived here for almost 5 years. I enjoy it and the people are great. Nicole and Andi in the office make this place feel like home. They are very welcoming and always taking care of the residents. I definitely recommend moving here! You won’t regret it!

I just recently moved in, and the entire process has been amazing ! Andy and Nicole have been kind, informative and professional. Andy especially Andy, she has worked diligently and timely on making sure my apartment is exactly what it needs to be, Comfortable!!! My experience thus far, has been nothing short of a blessing!! The Complex is clean, quiet and family oriented.

Andi did a wonderful job answering any questions that I had. She was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I had a wonderful experience on the tour with her! I will definitely be recommending talking with Andi to future friends!

After searching and searching I finally found the place that makes me feel comfortable. I had Andi in the office show me several units. She took her time and was very patient with me because I couldnt make up my mind. Although its fairly quite, I like that there is a gate that closes at night. The property is very nice compared to other complexes and has a play ground for my son to play on.

Such a great front office coordinator in Andi! She was knowledgeable about the complex and went out of her way to answer our many questions! We had such a great experience on our tour with her that we decided to choose this complex to live. Would highly recommend.

My aunt lives there and keeps my son until I get off work. They has a play ground and 2 swimming pools to keep him busy. Everything Ive seen there has been very nice and family friendly. There is a club house with bathrooms and a kitchen that I rented to have my sons birthday party.

I have worked with Andi for years with new flooring in her complex. She is very knowledgeable about her property. She can answer the questions I have about all her units. When things are busy I can email her and she will email me right back to confirm orders. She is always on top of things! I really enjoy working with her!

I lived in Briargate Since 2016 and still do. I love the property, and amongst the best amenities would have to be the property managers, especially Andi Upchurch, whom is awesome. She has been here since probably before me and anything I ask of her she does big or small. Being the first point of contact for customers who are looking to rent, it’s important to have great property managers and she is definitely an asset. THANKS Andi for all you do ❤️❤️

Accommodating. Secure. Respectful. I love being in a gated-community. I’ve been with Briargate since 2014; I’ve seen their interactions with various people and they treat everyone with the same respect. I definitely recommend. At any stage of your life, Briargate would be a wonderful place to live. I definitely recommend staying here.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Issues are followed up with and solved extremely fast. Rental prices are fantastic. Great location, 15-20 minutes from everywhere. Many thanks to Nikole and Andy for making my move to SC so easy.

Quick responding staff, quiet neighbors. Nice pool with plenty of places to grill out. Overall a really nice place to live thats not too far from just about anything you could want to do around Columbia.

Wonderful place to reside! All my maintenance problems were fixed as soon as i put it in. The apartment itself is spacious and perfect for me and the staff that works in the office are spectacular and so very kind. It’s also the first place I’ve been where i can pay without a money order which is so convenient with the type of work i do since i am usually on the road. I look forward to living here until i find my dream house.

In terms of places to live, this is it. Quiet neighborhood, lawn and trees always kept nicely, pool and weight room in great condition. Whenever there are issues, you can just put in a call to the maintenance team to get it fixed on site. I highly recommend Briargate!!!

Briargate is a quiet, peaceful and family friendly community. Their team is very nice. Whenever there is an issue, management quickly responds and do what they can to assist you.

Nicole and Andi are amazing, and really care about their residents. The property is clean and it’s a very quiet place to live. The location is convenient to everything.

They have a great location. Easy access to interstate, malls, and plenty of restaurants. There are many different floor plans to choose from, two swimming pools and a tennis court. Nikole, Ken, and Andi are great to deal with and will go out of their way to make it right.

Its not a bad place to live until you lose everything you own when your condo burns down. I lived there four years. Mine was the sixth building I saw burn not including the pool house. If not for the fire, Id rate 5 stars.Otherwise, the staff are nice and friendly. The washing machines and dryers suck. Theyre expensive and small. Youre better off going to a laundromat, especially if you like your clothes dry. There are plenty near by so that isnt a problem. I always had nice neighbors. The gate was pretty much always broken, but overall crime was pretty low and it never seemed to be a problem.

Nicole Martin was really helpful and very professional.she made my experience great.We feel safe living here and I love that they keep the grounds clean

Briargate is one of the few gated communities on this side of town. And the management does an awesome job of maintaining the properties. Kudos to them!!Recently we had to temporarily stay at another apartment, in another location on this side of town. This was due to work being done on our condo.The temporary place was a horrible experience. I was so glad to get back home to Briargate.Our property management here really cares about keeping things up. You all make this a wonderful place to live. Prompt, caring and always efficient. Thank you so much Briargate management.

Great quiet family, pet friendly and gated community. Office and maintenance staff are always polite and quick to respond to any issues. Grounds are always kept inviting and pools are always maintained during the season. I have lived in Briargate since 2013.

Working with Andi in the office for a long time now, she is great to work with. She is friendly, efficient and accountable.

I personally enjoy staying in briarsgate. The office staff is very nice and understanding. Great place to raise your kids, low crime rate, and spacious condos .

It’s okay for me. My unit isn’t really renovated. The cabinets you can tell are out of date and literally ever cabinet in my apartment was painted over. It’s other things that I’m not really a fan of either but that would be a list, other than that very quiet place nothing goes on here which is good for me. Just not good enough for me to renew my lease .

Moving couldn’t be any easier ! Nikole and Andi will get you in a unit regardless of any circumstances as quickly and professionally as they can. The office help here is the best part of the complex literally no worries. Love that the complex is gated and is also quiet even though it’s on broad river. Never had any neighborhood complaints since being here. Can’t forget the price for all the amenities you receive. You find the unit that fits you and your price range and you make the move !

I have been living at Brairgate for about 5 years now, and I enjoy it here. Great stuff Andi and Nicole always helpful. Any maintenance issue is fixed right away. Good neighborhood never had any problems. Even when the first building 8 I lived in had a fire. Nicole was right there helping the tenants. Brairgate is a good place to live and is affordable.

I strongly advise not living here…and if you do, never use the office drop box. I left my keys in the drop box when I moved out at the end of November as I was advised this would be ok.The management didn’t process them as returned until a week later so that they could charge me for another month and keep my entire deposit.Even when I explained to them that I had pictures and evidence of me being back in Ohio the day after I turned the keys in…they claimed I could’ve had someone else put them in the drop box for me a week later…Terrible way to do business.

I have been staying out there for almost a year now and I love it! The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. I have very nice neighbors. The landlord and office staff are very nice and positive. I would definitely refer anyone to move out here.

This is not a gated community the gate is always broken even though they advertise as such. Anyone can move freely in or out the property. My car and mailbox have been broken into on multiple occasions, and there have been multiple apartment fires over the past 4 years iv lived here. loitering is a big problem after office hours as well. im proud to say Ill b gone come aug.1st.

Horrible!!! I upgraded my apartment in may and been miserable every since ! I’ve had a noise complaint that never got resolved and still currently going through it. The people I complained on came to my door ready to fight called me out my name because I complained on them I have a ring and showed video to office and nothing still o and I had a water leak months ago and my ceiling til this day still isn’t fixed. So yes horrible! Over price with horrible quality and service a lease you WONT want to sign! I woulda gave 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me post with out one star so I get that off default !

Briargate is conveniently located near I20 as well as I26. It is within close proximity to shopping centers, Harbison, and the Seven Oaks area. Nikole, Ken, & Andi are professional, polite, and a pleasure to do business with.

Floors and walls are thin and neighbors are loud and inconsiderate maybe deliberate if you ask me. You cant live in apartment above someone and have your kids play and jump non-stop anytime of the day or night even at 1am. Management and maintenance are good and certain things are dealt with promptly but some of the people here are just horrible. Living here is horrible.

The rental company side is great. Nikole is very professional and caring of her tenants. She goes above and beyond for the tenants that live here.

Ive lived here at Briargate for 5 years now. The staff is great and if any issues come up, maintenance responds pretty quickly. Pretty quiet around my building and have never had noisy neighbors. If you travel a lot, then having quick access to I-20 and I-26 is great.There are two downsides for me. One is the trash collector coming around at 4-5am on Monday and I think Thursday (I dont know how people stay sleep through all that noise). Second is the front gate stays broken consistently.My experience overall has been quite positive.

Had many problems at this community. The apartment itself flooded more than 2 times due to slack maintenance. Someone was breaking into vehicles throughout the night. There was even a shooting a few months back. Not a place for kids.

Fires have already burned two apartments down blamed all on tenants but wiring in one apartment sparked from ceiling fan.The whole apartment unit is painted over with peeling paint and old cabinets and carpet needs to be changed badly. The windows are thin and you will hear everything from outside and your neighbors bathroom noises. late fees are $75. Prices go up every year but owners never updated the unit and there is tile peeling off the floor and holes everywhere. The gate breaks every few months and sometimes there is a line almost to the stop light. Sometimes you dont need an clock alarm because garbage alarm day is when three or four garbage containers get emptied and wake you up.

I just moved in and the apartment is great however the floors and walls are paper thin! The neighbors above me sound as if someone is running all day and its torture! I hate to break my lease, but for the price I pay for rent, I cant tolerate the constant stomping. Management inquired but its Notting that can be done. I guess its on to the next...

I moved into Briargate in 3 mos. ago and I absolutely love it! Nicole and Andi are the best, they try to make sure you are happy and content and if you have any concerns, they try to get them resolved in a timely manner. There are noisy people, but you will have that whever you go if you live in an apartment or condo, but for the most part....Briargate is greeeaaattt!

Good price on rent, convienent location, quiet neighborhood. Has a gate that you need a key fob/code for, nice added security. However, the gate is often left wide open all day and night, meaning just anyone can come in wether or not they belong there. For what purpose?

I lived here for 5 years and nearly every year some apartment either caught on fire, flooded, or was broke into. It seemed as though someone was shot every other month and people are terribly rude and crass. My fiancé and I moved to a smaller apartment in this complex back in Feb of this year and March 4th it burned down. The apartment claims it was a cigarette, but the fire the month before and the fire the month after that make me skeptical. Especially considering how old and run down the place is.Avoid this place, don’t bother with it.

I hate living here! My boyfriend and I own our condo here and all weve had is problems since we moved in. The home owners association here tries to charge you for everything they can. Our hot water heater was leaking into the apartment below us, they sent someone to cut off our water and then charge us $70. They said that its within their contract to do things like this without permission if it helps solve the problem. They constantly post notes and complaints on peoples front door and the door to the building. Their priorities are so messed up. There was a shooting in our parking lot and no one has been arrested and they havent tired to assure the residence in the community that they are safe or that things are under control. No! Instead they spend their time printing fliers about the use of marijuana. The note reported that they are tired of getting complaints about the smell of marijuana in the hall ways and they were going to start working closely with the authorizes. Why arent you working close with authorities to figure out the shooting that happened in broad daylight in a gated community?

While overall the community isnt horrible, there are definitely more downfalls than good things thats Ive noticed since Ive moved in about 6 months ago. My landlord, being able to have a pet, and the one maintenance man who actually does his job are probably the only really good things about the community. The neighbors are mixed reviews but thats what you get when you live in an apartment complex-you have the neighbors upstairs who literally sound like they are about to fall through the floor, someone in the building who is definitely smoking pot at least once a week and it makes the whole building smell nauseating, and you have the neighbors who play loud music/TV constantly, but you also have great neighbors who are kind and friendly. The management doesnt seem to ever tell you anything until after the fact or care to fix things in a timely manner. I had a serious concern that took over a month to fix (with my landlord constantly nagging management and maintenance). Also, the gym recently closed for upgrades (great!), however, the community was not notified, not even a sign on the fitness center door, just a locked door that still said the gym was open usual hours. For a gated community, the gate may work three times a month at this point, and that was one of the things that drew me to this complex. So far it hasnt been enough for me to want to break my lease because my landlord is awesome but after my year, I think Ill look elsewhere!

Do not rent here! My vehicle along with at least 7 others was broken into in this neighborhood! There are no security cameras on the property, just at the gate and in front of the office.

After complaining for over a year about the noise coming from the apartment below me constantly nothing had yet to be done. I am hoping to be out very soon because it seems as though management does not care to enforce the terms of the lease that everybody has to sign.
