I’m not typically one to leave poor reviews, but my experience with Wire Nut warrants one. Things started out just fine, with a quick response time and good safety measures with COVID going on (mask and shoe covers were both worn without me needing to ask). Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. I had them come out just to check out some faulty outlets, thinking that all I’d need them to do is replace those outlets. By the end of the visit, however, I was told that I should have my entire home rewired, get my breaker panel replaced, and more. I asked multiple times which of those things were NECESSARY for fire safety versus just recommendations of what I COULD do, and I never got a straight answer. The technician just kept saying that if I want to be very safe, I should do everything. The cost? $12,000. That’s right - not 12 hundred, 12 THOUSAND. The more we talked, the more things felt like a sales pitch. After he left, I decided to get a second opinion - and thank God I did, because the company I ended up choosing told me that everything was fine, no fire hazards - all I needed was a few outlets replaced and a few things tightened. Got that done for a couple hundred dollars. I’m very disappointed in Wire Nut and how they tried to pitch their UNNECESSARY sale, how they made me feel taken advantage of, and how they almost gave me the biggest ripoff of my life. Please do your homework and find an honest electrician who has your best interests in mind - safety-wise AND money-wise.

Paul fixed the reverse polarity issue in our garage. He provided detailed explanation of the issue as well as the resolution. This allowed me to make a more informed decision. All of my questions were answered and I’m very pleased with the services provided.

Daniel and Austin were great. It was a big job on an older home, but they came up with solutions and never lost their cool. I really appreciated that they never tried to rush my questions (or the job itself). I would definitely recommend.

Jarred was the electrical installer of the group. He was respectful, informative and efficient. Jesse was the front man and very professional and knowledgeable. Chris and Tyler installed my heating and cooling system. These two gentlemen were very thorough and made sure I understood everything they installed. They were also extremely patient with my old dog and my grandkids.Carl installed new filters on my furnace. He showed me twice, step by step, how to replace the filters in the future. He was a real gentleman.

David was very knowledgeable and provided valuable information about maintenance on our HVAC system. He should us how to clean it should we want to do it ourselves. He took the time to answer all my questions and provided a recap of the services provided as well as recommendations to keep the system functioning at its peak.

Jesse Joseph was great. He answered all my questions in a way I could understand and explained everything he was doing real well. He was professional and friendly.

Erik and his partner called ahead to let us know they were coming. Once they arrived, they got right to work. Along the way, they kept us informed as to everything that was happening. They cleaned up after themselves and left the bathroom as good or better than they found it.

Preston and Simeon came out to fix my leaky bathroom sink on a same-day call. They were both were incredibly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were able to quickly identify the issue and fix it without any hassle. I will definitely be using WireNut again when I have any issues and I would recommend them to others as well.

Very pleased with Wire Nut services. They have great employees working for them. Jesse was very informative, very thorough in his assessment and helped us choose the right equipment without pressuring us into buying things we don’t need. He got us on the schedule for the very next day with Brian for a new AC install. He was also very professional and diligent in his work. Although work is not yet finished (manufacturing issue) he was able to get us a few window units in the mean time at no extra charge. I’m confident he will get it up and running in no time! Exceptional service in my book! Will continue to use Wire Nut in the future

I really appreciated David’s attention to detail, both on the AC system itself, and the human side of making sure we understood what was happening to our system and felt confident about the resolution. We called WireNut in response to a failure that occurred late at night, and had safety questions and concerns about. David took the time to fully check out the system and figure out what happened, but also to patiently explain what we should expect from a similar failure and what to do if it happens again. Thanks for not only fixing our AC, but also giving us confidence in our system.

Joseph went out of his way to ensure my new Google Nest was functioning despite issues with furnace fuses, technical issues with the set up of the device, and an online install program that was more difficult than advertised. Joseph could have replaced the fuse on the furnace and met his obligation, but he stayed to ensure that the new thermostat that i purchased was set up and working correctly- exceeded all my expectations. Much appreciated.

My grandma, 80+ years old, had a guy come out to service/inspect her furnace yesterday and at the end was told she needed a new furnace which would run about 5800.00. She decided to get a second opinion because 5800.00 is ALOT of money, especially for someone on a fixed income. Surprise, surprise her furnace is running just fine and there is nothing wrong with it. Shame on this company, or technician, who tried to take advantage of a senior citizen. You hear about this happening alot and I felt the need to let everyone know that this company is also responsible for deceiving an elderly person about the true nature of the situation.

David was professional and courteous. He explained everything thoroughly and honestly for my annual furnace inspection.

We upgraded our 20 year old heating and air conditioning system. Excellent service in every respect. The sales person and the installers were all very professional, enthusiastic, answered all our questions, and made the entire experience as good as it could have been. We will definitely use Wire Nut again!!

Erik came out promptly as he said when he called me. Very polite well presented and got down to business, told me my options, we discussed those and he left to get appropriate pieces. Charles inspected my furnace and air conditioner. He thoroughly explained and showed me the issues with my furnace and air conditioner. He also was detailed on my options and pricing of replacing those items. Talking with Charles was a pleasant experience and even though I havent decided on which option to go with, I would highly recommend Charles and The Wire Nut for your house needs.

Wire Nut as a company has been excellent at communicating the schedule and very professional with all of our dealings. Techs Brian and Jesse were extremity kind and honest and getting their jobs done in a timely manner. They were also very good at explaining what was going on with our electrical system and what needed fixed. I will use Wire Nut again and would recommend them to friends and family for sure!

Was quoted $495 to install a new outlet right next to an exiting outlet. A 20 minute job at most and $10 in materials. Yes everything was already up to code and no other changes were required. I understand now why they wont give prices or a range over the phone.

Darren and Dorian did a wonderful job. They very careful to not let my cat get out. Both worked hard to do the job they were sent to do. They warned us about the fog that would fill the house as the duck system was sealed. I have really bad asthma so I was able to leave the area so I didnt have an asthma attack. One complaint Ive seen when researching who to hire is the crew leaving a mess behind. They made sure everything was clean, furniture was put back and windows were closed. I can already see a big difference in air flow. Im completely satifed that I picked the right company.

Vinzent is a great technician and he has worked on my system a few times. Each time he has, the experience has been great. I have been through a few HVAC companies over the years and Wirenut Home Services has been the best hands down. Vinzent is a great HVAC technician and I would trust any of the work to him.

I responded to a TV advertisement that offered an AC Tune-Up for $49 from the WireNut. I called and scheduled an appointment. Joseph came out to inspect the furnace and air conditioner and did a very thorough job. Joseph was very professional and courteous, but he never performed an AC tune-up. Fortunately I was never charged for the AC tune-up. In my opinion this was a classic bait and switch maneuver. Offer an AC tune-up at a great price, gain access to the customers home, inspect the furnace as well as the AC, come up with a list of problems for both the furnace and AC, offer a sales pitch to sell you a new furnace and/or AC. Joseph never performed an AC tune-up, which was the primary purpose of the service call. Joseph was very professional and pleasant at all times and he never tried to pressure me into a purchase, I just was not looking to purchase anything other than an AC tune-up.

Adrian did an awesome job installing our AC unit. He was very professional and the quality of his work was excellent. The electrical work was also amazing quality. Both hvac technicians and the electrical technician deserve a pay rise! Again amazing work! What a great company. 👍

Quick and professional. He showed us the equipment he was using and explained the tests as we watched. We were impressed with how everything went and even signed a service agreement. We felt happy with the entire experience.

Ben Pena was asked to return to correct two problems on two ceiling fans that they installed a couple of weeks ago. Ben is a hard worker that sticks with the problem until it’s corrected. I was impressed by Ben’s dedication to satisfying the customer. He corrected both problems at no charge because WireNut Services was originally hired to install these two new fans. This also says a lot for his employer as well. I would hire Ben and WireNut Services again for any household repairs. Good job Ben!

Charles called 30 minutes before he arrived and was very professional. Gave advice on our hot water issue and gave multiple options for what we could do. Answered all my questions. Very satisfied with getting quotes for their services.

Chance came out to investigate electric issues we were experiencing throughout the house. He showed up on time, was professional and thoroughly investigated the problems. Once a diagnosis was made, he presented our options. We decided to install a whole house surge protector and filter, which he installed the same day. Everything that was taken apart to investigate the issue and install the surge protector was put back together and the area was cleaned up thoroughly as well. I will be calling the WireNut for all my future electrical needs. Chance was fantastic!

These guys are very knowledgeable and were able to break all the information down in a way I could easily understand. We are getting a hot tub installed so they need to upgrade our electrical panel but they also took a look at our HVAC system and sent someone out from that department the same day. Overall, super helpful!

Initially, our electrician Steven came out to assist with a bad outlet in the laundry room. He very easily identified the issue and was able to correct the issue efficiently and effectively. Also, at my request he provided a quote for both a 240v outlet in the garage as well as a whole home surge protector. Both prices seemed extremely reasonable and in the same service call, he was able to go above and beyond and complete both of those services. We will be using wirenut again! They were professional and courteous and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a seized blower motor on a very old furnace that left us with no AC in the August heat. Wirenut had a technician scheduled quickly and they arrived within their stated time frame, and with a good amount of advanced warning. The representative who came out, Jesse, was professional, thorough and obviously interested in providing the best range of options for us as a household. While on site, we inquired about other upgrades we had been considering and Jesse was able to get a package put together that met our needs to a tee. We look forward to dealing with them in the future for maintenance, cleaning, and HVAC expansions to our home. Bonus points for being a very veteran focused company, both from staffing and customer service standpoints.

I was recommended to use this company so I called and tried to get a quote to get my chandelier hung. They said they could not give a quote over the phone or even a ballpark estimate. They only do in person, I said okay that’s understandable. I set an appointment and 2 hours into our 3 hour window they call to say they are with another client and can’t come. Okay fine, things happen. This time we schedule for the first time slot of the day to avoid this, this time they cancel AGAIN. So unreliable. Cancelling not once but twice is no way to earn business. I would not recommend using them if they can’t hire enough people to fill the appointments they schedule…I hate giving out 1 stars but this one was deserved.

Wirenut was the only electric company to do a thorough exam of my electrical box & quote me a price that meets the new regional building codes. Brian came out today to upgrade my box, meet the code requirements & put in a 220 outlet for my Mustang Mach E. He was very professional & friendly. He stayed late until the job was complete. He answered all questions we asked him. I will continue to use Wirenut for all of my household needs.

WireNut called us to schedule a maintenance visit, and we asked how long it would take and we’re told 1.5 hours at max to check our water heater and AC unit. When the initial tech (Phillip Cuizon) came in, he was very kind and seemed to be doing his job, but his “job” was pushing 3 hours at a point where he wanted to call in a senior tech to get a second opinion. When the senior tech (Charles Dozeman) got to my house, he seemed friendly as well, but turned to very misogynistic. My husband was not home, and Charles kept asking me if I knew what a certain part of the AC unit did. The answer was no. If I did, there would be no reason to call. But when I said no, he was very condescending as to how he explained it. It got even worse when they both wanted me to spend money to change out a part that day and I said not today because I wanted to talk to my husband about it. Mind you they were trying to charge me $245 for a part that costs $10. Charles was at my house for another hour making a total of 4 hours they were “performing a maintenance check” when I was told it would take 1.5 hours. Then two days later our AC stops working, but it was working just fine before they came. My husband and I had another company come out to see why it’s wasn’t working, and we had to replace a part. We had this other company look over what WireNut suggested and he said 90% of what was suggested was unnecessary. It’s safe to say my husband and I will not be using WireNut again due to the lack of respect for my time, our money, and being condescending for what seemed to be based on the fact that I’m a female.

Jerry was professional, on time, friendly, and very patient. And he called prior to arriving as expected. Jerry gets 5 stars. :)However, the business office gets 1 star because they lied to me. I said I needed the tech to bring the replacement part which the manual said I would need... they said he would - the basis for hiring Wire Nut as a certified Rheem Pro company. The tech knew nothing about that... and the part was 36 hours in arriving.The technical setup for notifications gets 5 stars for automated messaging included a picture of the assigned tech. Very professional.

It was easy to get an appointment, and Jessica came out and did a great and clean job of installing a new outdoor outlet. My only gripe is the price (over $600 for one outlet) seems high to me, but I dont have a lot of experience hiring electricians, so maybe thats just the going rate, especially during the pandemic. The work is outstanding and professional, regardless.

It took me weeks to schedule an appointment with them for a simple install. They called and hour into my 3 hour window to reschedule. Made another appointment for a week out(the earliest they had). Got a call about mid way into my appointment window to say theyre NOT coming AGAIN. They wasted 2 full days of my time. I would NOT recommend this company. They are extremely unreliable and dont care that they cancel/reschedule on you numerous times.

I have used the Wirenut for many, many years. I am not sure what has happened to them, but this is not the same company that use to do such good work. What the initial consultant told me is completely different then what has been done. 2 fresh air vents were suppose to be installed in the walls. Well, I ended up with this foil monstrosity hanging in my basement that my cats are going to love swinging off of. Oh, and it looks like it was duct taped to the existing vent. I still havent gotten the blower motor installed in my furnace that I paid for. There just seems like there is a complete lack of communication all the way around and I do take responsibility for some of that. I still have more work to be completed by them and I am thinking I should cancel and ask for a refund. I would like to say the workers are great. I am just very unhappy and disappointed with this whole experience.I am editing my review. They were very responsive and fixed the problem right away. I am still very happy with the company and they really seem to take care of their customers.

Professional good quality work. The code-based pricing is difficult to evaluate; I would prefer a labor-parts breakdown. I normally would get 2 to 3 estimates but electrical repair companies charge a fee for dispatch in order to get an estimate (as does WireNut). Your electrician did a good job.

Jason came out to assess outdoor wiring that I thought needed to buried.After a review, said the wiring was up to code and it didn’t need to be done.Love the honesty and professionalism. Will use them again for projects.

I got multiple quotes, and The Wire Nut was the most competitive on item, and willing to price match on the other.Our technician was on time, friendly and professional, and all work was completed to my satisfaction. I would use The Wire Nut again for electrical service, and will consider them if/when we add AC.

I had an appointment with a window of 10 am to 1 pm. Just before noon I was called and informed that they would not be able to make the appointment and they wanted to schedule a week later. I can understand that things come up, but having to free myself up on a weekday and then get canceled on last minute makes things exceedingly difficult.

Scheduled tuneups. Technician and master technician provided very a thoughtful and thorough inspection of my systems. They provided a comprehensive overall assessment and solutions.

Skye performed the annual maintenance and service for our AC system and flushed the hot water heater. This included inspection and replacement of the humidifier filter. Skye called ahead, was on time and worked quickly and thoroughly. She explained each step of the service and inspections and explained the options for replacement and future maintenance of our systems. She did a great job.

Today Jessie installed the new panel. He showed up on time and completed the work as scheduled. Like Chance, Jessie was very professional and explained everything in detail. Everything is up and running now and the installation was successful and looks very good. I am very pleased with the entire job.I met Chance w/Wirenut today. He looked over the electrical panel upgrade that I need to do. He then explained everything I needed to know about exactly what needed to be done. He was helpful and professional, which made me comfortable. He was informed about the new NEC codes, etc. that I also needed to know about. He then gave me a reasonable estimate and we scheduled the job for next week. So far so good!

Agent and I examined the electrical layout in detail in order to assess what the project will entail. He was very helpful and knew the subject matter well. I will consider using WireNut for the actual project.

I enjoyed being able to book my appointment online, and the courtesy call to know when they would be arriving at my home. David was great and thoroughly explained what he was going to do and informed me of everything regarding my AC unit maintenance. He was very courteous, professional, and answered all my questions that I had. Wirenut is a great company that I would recommend to anyone needing HVAC services. I plan to take advantage of the other services they offer in the near future.
