I had called several places letting them know my ac was broke and I had and infant in the household. Nobody could come out till Friday. NOT HIGH ALTITUDE! They called me first thing after a holiday weekend and had Joe out at my house by nine, ac fixed by ten! I could not of been happier and they care about my ac being broke with my baby! We just bought our house, needless to say moving forward they will now be our only go to for our heating and ac needs! Side note Joe took the time to tell us the best way to save on energy and take care of our systems! Thank you so much! I truly feel like they care. Amazing experience!!!

High Altitude has been great. For routine maintenance, they are great. Most of their techs are helpful and efficient. Our a/c started acting up and we had a tech come out as an emergency after-hours appointment the same day. The guy said he fixed it, but about a week later the same issue was happening. This time it was on a weekend during a heat wave, and we had a newborn that could not sleep in the hot room. Admittedly, I called the emergency line SEVERAL times hoping someone would pick up or to hear back quickly as their website stated they have 24/7 emergency services available. However, no one got back to me until the following day after several calls/messages and the guy who called back was a bit rude, telling me its a Sunday and I dont know what we can do. He finally said he would pass the message to his boss. His boss called back and let me know theyd get someone out the following day, and that the 24/7 on their website was a mistake. I was pretty upset at this point, which Ill blame on the lack of sleep and the baby. However, the tech that came out the following day was super helpful and solved the problem quickly.

I called High Altitude over the July 4 weekend due to a severe condensation leak from our air handler. Eric returned my call promptly after the weekend and Joe arrived the same afternoon. He quickly located a replacement condensation pan and installed it. More importantly, he determined that the leak was caused by the heat exchanger having melted a spot in the condensation pan, and he took the time to adjust the gas mixture and the fan speed in the heater to prevent a recurrence. I appreciate High Altitudes prompt response, Joes expertise in diagnosing and fixing the root cause of the problem, and his willingness to share his thought process with me as he was finding and fixing the problem. Its very difficult to find quality home and appliance repair services today, so Im grateful to have found a company I can trust to do quality work. I will continue to call High Altitude to take care of my heating and air conditioning in the future.

High Altitude Heating and Air responded quickly after I called for an appointment and the service person was prompt. He did not have the part necessary to remedy my A/C issue, but returned the next day to fix the problem. WOW! I never thought I would be so impressed with an HVAC company. Ive hired High Altitude first for a furnace tune up and assessment when purchasing an older home and I just had them out last week to install an AC unit and whole house humidifier. Not only are their techs knowledgeable but they are kind and friendly. Joe will take the time to explain how things work and even brought to my attention that my drywall crew had covered over an important air return that we need for proper circulation. Kaleb was great with the AC install and even came back to move the humidifier panel from the crawl space to the living room after realizing it actually could be done. Everyone at High Altitude is a pleasure to work with and I cant wait to refer more people to them!

When we moved within Colorado Springs the new house AC wasn’t cooling enough and it had a code for “restriction” (inspector missed it). I saw some good reviews for High Altitude and called them and Eric designed and installed an additional return air duct and airflow restriction was solved. Had a great experience with High Altitude Heating & Air. Our furnace had stopped working late on a Sunday night and called them first thing Monday morning. Adam showed up at 10am and was able to spot the problem right away. Since our furnace was 20 years old I decided to have it replaced. He made some calls gave me an estimate and was able to have everything done by that afternoon. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything. I would highly recommend this company.

I requested a quote for a fireplace cleaning. They were the first to call me back with a quote. I was able to book the appointment online within a week of talking to them. We used this company several times! Installation of a new heating and AC units and a humidifier! We were always having problems with something needing to be serviced because of lack of correct installation. We also had a humidifier installed and they seem to not be able to get that correct and needed to come out several times to service it and it is still not working correctly. We had our fireplaces serviced and one fireplace they have been out 4 times in a 2 month period and now it will not work at all. I received a call from the owner and was told they couldnt do anything else for us and that I should contact another company, even though our items are still under warranty. I have to say this is one of the worst experiences we have had with a business and I am sad to say we spent so much money with this business. A family member has also used them and they were also not satisfied with their quality of work.

Great experience!! One of our furnaces stopped working on the coldest day of the year so far. Julie took our call and was friendly and helpful. She scheduled a technician within about an hour of our call. Then she texted me to confirm the job and included a picture of the tech. They texted me again when David was on his way. Technician David Allman was simply the best! He was prompt courteous and fast. He rapidly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He then took the extra step of cleaning the flame sensor on the furnace that was working to make sure we didnt have problems with that unit. This company receives my very highest recommendation and we are now clients for any future heating and cooling needs.

So, I show up to my rental at 8:30, the place is 48 degrees. Im meeting my new tenant at 10:00 for a walk thru. Called the office at 9:15 expecting to get put on the repair schedule for end of the week. Julie said there just happened to be an opening and a tech would be there within the hour. The diagnosis was a bad blower motor. Just over 3 hours later and the heat is on! Its no wonder I have used them on all of my properties!

Very professional, VERY prompt. Its a Saturday and my heating wasnt igniting. Gave them a call and they were at the house within 30 minutes. Turns out the problem was my own fault (broke a wire dealing with a new thermostat). After a little testing, he thought it was the new thermostat, but did a little more digging and discovered the broken wire. He fixed it, only charged the after hours/diagnostic fee and skipped the labor costs. He would have been well within the right to charge the labor fee as well. Very happy with the service and would definitely call them again, especially since the company that just certified the until didnt even return my call.

I have called High Altitude Heating and Air for problems with my heat and air conditioning which was installed by the builder of my home. They show up when they say they are going to, they guarantee their work, they dont try to sell you what you dont need, and they are extremely reasonable in what they charge. I know nothing about HVAC units, so you could tell me anything and I wouldnt know if it was right or wrong, but thats not the way they do business. I recently had a problem with my heat....it didnt work and required several visits to fix. They responded to my calls immediately, came out the same day, and charged me once. I trust them and wont use anyone else.

I researched a great HVAC company to install a by-pass humidifier and decided to try High Altitude because they were recommended by neighbors and they received great reviews. I received a quick email back from Marla with a quote and was able to get me scheduled fairly quickly. Adam was my tech and he was very professional and knew what he was doing. I had some weird wonky things with my furnace that prevented him from doing the job the first time but once my furnace issue was resolved, I scheduled Adam to return to install the humidifier. He did it quickly and made sure everything worked the way its supposed to. He was very patient to explain the various things I need to pay attention to to have a long lasting system. I am very happy with the install and the folks from High Altitude that I encountered. I would definitely recommend High Altitude Heating & Air for all my future HVAC needs.

Beware of this company!!! I was working at a job and they were telling the homeowner there AC unit leaked so much that they need to replace the whole unit for $1000’s. I had the homeowner get a second opinion with a company I highly recommend and have good experience with. They came out and all that was wrong is it was overcharged (opposite from what high altitude said) and the coils needed to be cleaned. High Altitude said they cleaned the coils as well and didn’t. They tried to scam an older couple with a whole new unit when it was a simple and cheap fix. They are up and running NO thanks to high altitude. Makes me sick and wonder who else they are ripping off!!!Edit: ( comment on owners response below; I did talk to you and it was definitely your company that was the one that was in the wrong. The homeowner just contacted me and said they love the review I gave. I’m not saying you are always like this at all or that your tech doesn’t know what he is doing but unfortunately in this case that is still what happened and hopefully it won’t happen again for you.

I was laid off earlier this year due to the pandemic. So cash has been tight. Lo and behold, my furnace decides to conk out the first day of snow after a beautiful warm week.😓Earlier I had a different HVAC technician come out to my house. He goes under my house for 2 minutes and tells I need a brand new part and its going to cost me well over a thousand dollars....I felt like he was lieing to me.Nobody with that much certainty tells me what the issue is. They serviced 2 furnaces after finishing the fireplace and then serviced the tankless water heater. they found an issue with the water heater and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. During a routine heater and fireplace check, he found a gas leak where a nail had pierced our stove’s gas line about 5-years ago. Just had High Altitude come out and fix my Carrier furnace (15 years old) that had a faulty pilot lighter. Andy did great job by: 1) Finding the issue quickly and fixing it, 2) Telling me that if I hadnt had my furnace maintained this year yet that for an extra $7 he would do that for me, and 3) Lubricated the blower motor I had replaced 2 years ago which now makes the heater so quiet when it comes on I can barely notice it. GREAT company!!!

Our furnace was not working. Called High Altitude to do the repair, since the last company we had was not dependable (Robbins H & A/C) David Allman was the technician who came out. David was courteous and professional. Diagnosed the problem within 40 minutes. I was so satisfied when the repair was done, I signed them up for a three year maintenance program! ($115.00) (which was very reasonable) . I highly recommend!!

Wouldnt give me an estimate after waiting for weeks because I do not use email. How hard would it have been to throw it in a mail box and send it. But I feel they just pick and choose which places they are going to do or not. And dont have the full to let you know. Apparently they dont own a phone either. Wouldnt recommend.

These Guys did a great job repairing our gas fire places. They worked a few months ago and then all of a sudden stopped and everything I tried to get them going didn’t work. There was a lot of troubleshooting involved but David ultimately figured out and fixed the issues at a good price, whereas another company might’ve just sold me a bunch of parts I didn’t need just to be done with it. These guys are straight up honest and really helped me out. In a few weeks they’re coming out again to install a humidifier on my furnace and I’m glad to give them business. If you need help with your air-conditioner, furnace or even fireplace like I did, I recommend you give them a try.

Eric and his team at High Altitude Heating and Air are top notch. Ive been using their services as our preferred HVAC service provider for our Property Management business. Ive used this company for annual fall-maintenance, furnace & AC repairs as well as full end-to-end system replacements. Highly reliable, honest and professional. As a cynic, it takes a lot to get a positive review out of me, but this company absolutely deserves one. My wife and I recently purchased a new home with what we thought to be two working AC units. Of course, when summer hits, one of the AC units did not work. We called another HVAC company first. They came out and first said we should consider replacing the entire AC unit. When we pushed back, they wrote us an estimate for $2500 to fix the issue. As we previously had good luck with High Altitude, we called them for a second opinion. Boy, am I sure glad we did! David came out and located the problem quickly. He fixed the problem for $790, a far cry from the other estimate for three times as much. David could have trumped it up, but he was fair, honest, and diligent. If you want to get ripped off, call another company. If you want to be treated right, call High Altitude. Theyve won me over for life as a customer - I wont dream of ever going elsewhere.

We just had Andy out to help us with a noisy heater and broken humidifier. He found a bag that had gotten stuck in our system, changed our filter, cleaned the system, and fixed the humidifier for all under $90. He then showed me how to keep up these things on my own so that I can maintain the system better. I am beyond impressed with Eric, Andy, and this company.

They do a great job! I switched from home heating and cooling. They treated me like they were doing me a favor and treated me rude. So now I use High Altitude and they were through and even cleaned my air conditioner coils! They set me up with a yearly service with a discount and they call me every year now.

Would recommend this company 100%! Andy was our technician and he was prompt, knowledgeable and worked in a very clean way, making sure to protect our floors. Pricing was fair and I would definitely use this company again if needed.

My experience mirrored other reviewers, and I am all too happy to add another five-star rating (unsolicited) for these folks.I had a water pump fail in a 31 year-old evaporative (swamp) cooler. The unit is in good operating condition, just time for a new pump as the last had exhausted its service life. I tried myself, but ran into some problems.I first reached out on HomeAdvisor, but that was not a good experience. I booked an appointment with the only pro match, and they booked me an appointment but couldnt tell me their rate other than a trip charge and said they would tell me IF they took the job. I felt they were going to take me for a ride. It was a large HVAC firm.I thought Id try on Yelp and found several matches. Eric replied instantly and was positive, helpful, and open. I booked an appointment then and there.Service technician Josh came out and did the job in no time. He was on-time, friendly, forthright, knowledgeable and professional. I was very happy with his work, and I will use High Altitude again for HVAC services, and recommended them to my neighborhood association (I live in a retirement community).Their prices are really reasonable, very good actually and the service and their work is outstanding. Working with them is a great experience.
