This was my first time to this location and they go above and beyond to give you a great experience. Very organized and professional! Honestly probably one of the best car maintenance experiences I’ve ever had. Not to mention, they ordered my part and replaced it all in a very timely manner. I was super stressed about having to take my car to the shop, but they put my worries at ease and got the job done! I will definitely be one of their regulars for my car maintenance and repairs. I have been coming to Tuffy for years! I have a few vehicles from supercars to family vehicles. European and Domestic and they have been consistently the best I have had serviced during the 12 years I have been in Florida. No slick talk or upsale garbage or needless repairs. This I can confirm absolutely because Im more than capable of working on my entire collection. Its refreshing to have developed a friendship with Sasha and the staff that has been earned because of the code of conduct they hold themselves too.

I scheduled an appointment, but at the wrong location. No problem, they were able to start on my car within about 5 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation.I was told it would take about an hour.About an hour later I overheard a phone call where they were trying to locate an oil filter.A few minutes later I asked what the status was and was told they were waiting for an oil filter for my car.Nearly two hours after starting on the oil change my car was finished. I paid the bill and expressed my concerns that they would start on an oil change without having the parts. Not even a verbal apology was offered.After driving home I felt the urge to verify the the tire lock socket was returned. Surprise. It was nowhere to be found.A trip back to Tuffy. The manager didnt just return it to me but tried to put it in the trunk without me seeing him. 2 trips and over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Not the service I expect.

We had a last minute flat tire on the way out to lunch.They got us in the bay within 10 mins and the tire was taken off and plugged up within 10 mins! In and out in 20 mins! That’s unheard of! 🙌🏼The 2 people at the desk today (owner and a really nice lady) were funny and great with us and our little boy! Super happy and already on our way to lunch again!SO happy we came here and no where else. It didn’t put even the slightest damper on our day at all.Thank you!!

I had my car towed there with a sensor issue. They fixed it in under 24 hours and communicated fantastically through the process. They took the car out for a trip to make sure the sensor was going to work and my engine wouldn’t shut off like it was before. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and struck up a conversation with the employee, presumably the manager, and he made me feel appreciated and wasn’t trying to get me out the door at closing time. Will definitely be back the next time I need something!

Needed Michelin tires for a ram 2500 which they were able to get quickly. Had appointment for 4:15, they were backed up we didnt get out of there until 6:20.

Tuffys was recommended to me by another automotive service which I have been going to for years and trust. I was greeted when I arrived by Carlos, and he began to take my information, gave me a summary of what they would do and began to check out my car. A short time later. he came back with his recommendations and estimate. They were able make the repairs right then and I had my car back within the estimated time and cost. I couldnt be more pleased and have found someone else i can trust to take care of my car honestly.

Firestone will not honor their lifetime alignment warranty. I went to 3 different Firestone stores and none would help to fix my alignment. I had to pay Tuffy for an allignment.

My wife and I broke down 50 miles from home and managed to get to Tuffys in Clemont. The front desk gentleman was extraordinary and very helpful. After only a 30 minute wait, the mechanic told us that I had a broken radiator and a cracked head gasket and I would need a new motor (probably around 5K). I had it towed home and was going to just sell it for parts as it was a 10 year old vehicle. However, 3 years earlier, we replaced the motor so, on a whim, I filled up the radiator and was able to drive it to a local mechanic. I was told I needed a new radiator but my motor was fine. We have put several hundred miles on it since with no problems.My issue was the mechanic at Tuffys telling me my head gasket was blown and needed a new motor. He was positive and gave me no options . THe service was great, but maybe they should be more careful to sound so definitive.

You know, I have always felt nervous going to mechanics. Too many times have I gone to one and a minor repair has turned into an unnecessary major expense. What I can say is that here they have always been honest, done good work, and have had stellar customer service. I have had times that I have expected to pay for a major repair and they could have gotten away with charging me for one and instead, they have been honest and surprised me with fixing a problem for much less than I imagined. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to service their vehicle. I will go nowhere else for mine or my wives. Top notch all the way.

I went through a lot with Tuffy. We had some problems but Ive never had a company go out of their way to help a customer like this Tuffy did. From sending someone all the way to my house to fill my tire with air, following me back to Tuffy to fix my tire, and then taking care of me while I waited. They really went above and beyond. I cant thank Joe, and Chris for everything they did for me when the world is financially stressed as it is. Please do yourself a favor and go here. Because I went there for an alignment and they told me I needed new tires when I just bought my tires 7 months ago and between the time I bought my tires and to now only had 5,000 mi which is not much and my tires were bold and when I looked at my receipt when I bought my tires from time kingdom my tires stated Spector tires when I look back at my tires I have Aspen tires they switch tires on me for sure no doubt in my mind

I called the the car dealer and other places for a quote to change my brake pads, and the best price I found was with Tuffy. I called and spoke to Chris on a Saturday morning, and he said I could come right in. He took care of me right away. I left the car with him, he inspected it, called me and told me the price of the total job, and he texted me when they were done. The whole process was quick and easy, and way cheaper than other places. My car feels brand new again. I hope I dont need any more repairs on my car, but when I do, I wont hesitate to take it to Chris at Tuffy.

Man , what can I say about this place ! Awesome staff ! Very friendly and professional. Brought my 2017 Acura RDX from the dealership 2 weeks ago from ACURA! 209$ for alignment which was done there prior to purchase . Drove the car and started to realize the car was pulling to the right extremely hard . And the steering wheel was off centered too ! I didn’t want to drive an hour to Acura to get this fixed . Incompetent with exhaust and welding. Shop told me they werent able to weld a simple v band on a straight section. Only getting a second star due to the honesty and not just taking a job they couldnt handle. Advice, hire someone that actually knows how to weld/fabricate. I had to explain and physically show them how a v band worked.

As a woman, I like this auto shop because they are very transparent. They show me what is going on with my car so I can trust them. Highly recommended!

Car broke down (starter broke) and AAA recommended Tuffy. I called them for a quote (which sounded great) and dropped my car after hours (easy to do). The next morning I followed up and the quote more than doubled...but they said they would discount it to a few hundred more instead of doubling... not wonderful.I was kind of stuck, so they had me cornered there. Then after the repair, I had a bunch of warning lights go off and they I quote, say Did your car start? Then that problem was fixed...sounds like you have a different problem. ... not wonderful again.They graciously looked at the engine and turns out there is a sensor on the engine causing the warning lights that they knocked out (for those that dont know, sensor cables dont just fall out). It was in quite a tight spot and three of the mechanics and myself worked for about 45 with 24 screw drivers to get it back into place with success!So...not the best visit / experience. I rated them 4 stars because (1) They were friendly and I liked them (2) the mechanics did a great job and stayed after to fix the problem (3) sometimes things happen and although I was upset with the two initial problems - I didnt get the since that they were trying to rip me off . ...it was just one of those days. I think Ill be back!Updated!!! 5 stars. Took another car there, they took a look and suggested I take it to a dealer and ask for warranty information, I did and it saved me a few hundred. Not ever looking forward to car trouble, but when it arrives, I look forward to going back here!

Picked up a nail in my tire. Called Tuffy and no problem, bring it on in. Went right to work and repaired tire in about 1 hour. Greatservice and very friendly.

I dont think its a good idea to ask me for a review. Tuffy forgot to put oil in my car. Tuffy was supposed to pay for a rental for 2 weeks while they put another motor in my car.I would now like to write a retraction.The people who now are at Tuffy were not the same people from when I was there, yet they made the effort to help me. Because of Chris, at Tuffy, we have been fully compensated.He researched my records and found that everything I said was true, and more. He contacted corporate and told them what happened to me.They were apologetic and made everything right.Because of Chriss help, I will go back to Tuffy.Thank you, Chris and Jim Christian.

Went in to have a new set of wheels and tires mounted, balanced, and installed on my truck. Was there for nearly 4 hours! Scratched the rims installing the tires, didnt bother asking me which sidewall I wanted facing out, and after all of this the wheels were not balanced correctly and I experienced bad steering wheel vibration at 55mph. Took my truck to another tire shop and they fixed it. Shoulda avoided Tuffy from the beginning

They have amazing customer service and they do great work that they will back themselves up on and take accountability for any mistakes or problems that may occure with anything.never any issues. We go here for every oil change and tire rotations. They also have great prices on batteries with 6 year warranty and will search for great tire prices for you. They do an excellent job! Very honest company. Never had any issue. Also, they dont tell you a million things are wrong with your vehicle to get money out of you if there is no issue and they will be honest on the severity of the issue. Love this place and the people!

I will admit I have never been to Tuffy before their current management so I’m only speaking of their current management. I took my vehicle the other day for a repair and once they spent a couple hours on the problem, they informed me that it was still under warranty from the manufacture. They did not charge me at all for their labor and did not make a penny out of it either due to the fact that it was covered under one of the managers, Sasha, is trustworthy and knows how to deal with people rather than just make a quick dollar

I went in to have my water pump and timing belt replaced. It turned out that my car also needed new tire rods. Even though everything came out to be somewhat pricey, they did get the job done.The store owner Dan even took me home while I waited those 4 hours. It was nice.

Sorry to say but dont trust Tuffy in Clermont, Fl. On good faith (considering the times)I went for a brake job and got ripped off.Today I called my Hyundai dealer and their estimate was $171 less than what Tuffy charged me. I should have known better than to trust an auto shop, but I was hoping for some integrity.

I had a great experience. My fiance called ahead to confirm they had time to replace my front brakes same day. The process was explained without scare tactics or pressure. We received a call when my car was ready. It was significantly less stressful than my previous car service experiences. Ill definitely go back for my rear brakes in the future.

I came in due to a low pressure tire warning light and Store Manager Sasha offered to check it out. He was friendly and helpful from the start, checking the tires and inflating where needed. I asked about a battery check as there had been slight delays between turning the key and getting the car to start. The battery was on its last legs and Sashas team was able to replace it while I waited. From the time I walked in til the time I left, it was only about 30 minutes. They couldnt have been more helpful and friendly.

The Manager and staff were very nice snd explained everything. They didnt try to up price or take advantage of a handicapped veteran. The mechanic that did the inspection and brake job on my Saturn did a very professional job. Its nice to go to a place were they DONT RIP YOU OFF!HIGHLY RECOMMEND TUFFY.

My daughter had trouble after she started her car. Brake and ps lights came on dash and couldnt put the car into gear. The Tuffy team really went above and beyond to help figure it out. This is one place I recommend for anyone who loves their baby. Dang was just fantastic in how he treated my MBZ that had only been serviced at dealership.I brought him the car after he was recommended highly to do the valve cover gaskets as they were leaking again after 2 years cycle. Its since been 7 years and I have had no oil leaks.... keeping my fingers crossed so as to not jinx it, but I end up going to Tuffy for the awesome service that they provide.I own 2011 S600 and 2005 CLK 500 conv.

I took my Toyota Corolla to Tuffy on Highway 50 last week and Im very impressed with the service I received. They have professional staff, clean showroom to wait in and you feel like the mechanics are actually happy to help you. They took the time to show me whats wrong with my car and made sure I understood their recommendations. They gave me great payment options that made it affordable for me to get my car fixed the same day. I fully recommend Tuffy on Hwy 50 in north Clermont and will take my car nowhere else as long as live in Central Florida.

Has new ownership management so if you were disappointed with the service before I strongly recommend you give them a chance. I had a bad experience with my repair and when I mentioned it to the new owner he made sure it was right. Fast friendly and quality. I am definitely going back.

Let me start off by saying the owner is a nice person, but. I took my truck for a coolant flush and I noticed from the waiting room one mechanic at my truck, then two mechanics then three. I went out to see what was going on and they didnt know what adaptors to use (what?). So theyre changing adaptors and then not sure what hose goes on what adaptor (Utoh). The owner comes out and says its a new machine and Im the guinea pig (omg, lol) later he said he meant the mechanic was the guinea pig (still a horrible thing to say to a customer). So my truck is idling hooked up to the machine and the machine is doing nothing, at this point the mechanic says the engine has to warm up and build pressure. I check the temp gauge and its at normal temp of 195 degrees and still nothing with the machine is happening. They bring another mechanic over and he reverses the hoses connected to the adaptors, still nothing, machanic says be hates this new machine and prefers the old model (nice, lol). They start fiddling with knobs (very scary to watch) and nothing is happening, meanwhile the engine temp is at 212 degrees and Im getting worried. Then all the machanics walk away while my truck sits and idles because something is supposed to happen, the engine temp goes 215, 218, 220, 225 and still going up. Thats when I turned off the key and said unhook everything!. I went to Ford down the street, paid a little more but Ill sleep better tonight. Moral to the story, dont pay for peanuts and expect Macadamians.

Just your average oil change place. Moderate wait times with moderate expectations. People who work there seem nice but hey its an oil change.

They just wasted 3 hours of my time saying they could fix my brakes. Can’t believe how unprofessional they was if you say you can do something be able to back it up and do it.
