I would like to share my experience purchasing a used car from Hyundai of Central Florida. I contacted Wells Fargo who financed my 2011 Buick Enclave. My main complaint, which, it is still under investigation, was the fact that this dealership charged me for a service contract that I did not authorized. The finance person named Mike (Indian) used a computer tablet with small print that I could not really make out what I was signing, but Mike coached me with initial here, and sign here. I was interested to find the final amount financed since he suggested that I needed a down payment of $2000. (even with a credit score above 700). I agree to the down payment because according to the conversation they had performed an inspection of the vehicle and replaced two tires and performed a service that included oil change, with oil filters, etc. Mike suggested a 2-year engine warranty for only $500. Since it was late in the afternoon and I had to travel a long distance home I allowed Mike to shove all the copies of the sale transaction in a small Zurich pouch and advise me to go to the front desk to make my payment. It was not until the next day when I found that Mr. Mike had pulled a fast one on me. I discovered that he had added $2015 to amount to be financed. Buyer be aware if you have to deal with these individuals pay close attention to the transaction or you will find yourself in the same predicament. To make the story short: In addition to the Mysterious Service Contract, within weeks of purchasing this vehicle, I had to replace my front tires, had to replace the power steering pump and do the oil change since it was not done by the service department. They all lied to me and to the Wells Fargo Auto Financial. It is my contention that the Hyundai of Central Florida, Sales Manager, and the Service Manager in cahoots with Mr. Mike (the finance guy) who was directly responsible for the fake service contract responded to Wells Fargo Auto denying any wrong doing in their part invalidating my inquiry.

Sales is great but service is the weak link to this dealership. Called several time a got a voice mail or transfer to sales. I finally gave up and called the nearest dealership which picked up a the second ring and had me scheduled in a few minutes. Hire someone to answer the phone that can schedule appointment. Also the online maintenance scheduler does not work so why even have it for it just waste your customers time.

You wouldn’t think a car dealer can be this amazing but they are! Great service. No sense of pressure. I have used the service and sales departments and both are superb. Highly recommend a Genesis or Hyundai vehicle and this dealership.

10 day wait for warranty work you’re better off at Greenway they got me in the next day.
