First..Sears repair is not physically at Countryside Mall there is not even a Sears outlet in Pinellas County any longer. I tried going there in person because I tried reaching a human to set up.a repair all morning. Although my.window air conditioner was not purchased at Sears, they used to sell Frigidaire products so why couldnt they send a repairman? I have tried for three days to get my this unit fixed.. I am just over everything..nobody wants to fix anything, products are made to break so poor people have to replace them. I have a warranty and Frigidaire wont replace without the receipt...I am over everything.

Initial repair was incorrectly completed causing a lengthy daily. Fortunately the company paid for all parts and labor to make right the situation. However I was still billed the initial service fee of over $150.

With me knowing the problem and instead of giving me a quote on repair costs. The the repairman professionally removed 8 screws, then replaced 6 of them. Told me that I was correct and then charged me 96 dollars. Then gave me the quote with an upsale for home warentee. Just beware is my advise.

Amazing service.Kenmore dishwasher making bad, odd sounds, wont run.Googled Sears Appliance repair, clicked on the link, and found that at 9:00PM, I could make an appointment on-line, or via phone!I chose the on-line version and was done in less than 2 minutes, with an appointment for the NEXT afternoon, between 1 and 5 PM.BTW, very well done website-super easy to navigate.Dan, the service tech, called before showing up about 1:30. I showed him the problem, he said it sounded like a problem with the drain pump, and he needed a tool from the truck. Got it, came back in, and in about 5 minutes, it was fixed. Somehow, 5 cherry pits had gotten past the filter and into the pump.He was gone in a total of less than 15 minutes, and charged the minimum service charge.So, fast and easy to make the appointment, arrived on-time, and out the door in less than 15 minutes.What more could you ask for!BTW, they service most major brands of appliances.

My confidence in this product is low. Just barely out of warranty and the dryer motor needs to be replaced. The repair servicemen were professional and polite, I have little confidence in their in their rush to get the job done.

SEARS provides a 4 hour window. Over 5 times in a row Ive called and had repairmen out to fix my icemaker. None of the fixes work, but the repairmen all sign off the service order that the issues was repaired. I called about the no-lemon guarantee, but because the servicemen said they fixed the issue by making adjustments, SEARS gets to avoid honoring the service contract and the no-lemon portion of the contract. Ive spent days trying to get a name and number of someone to address these issues, but instead keep being rerouted to schedule another service appointment. Even their customer solutions department refuses to provide a name or number other than the call centers where the employees cannot veer from the scripts. ive asked for call backs from managers and employees but none to date.

I didnt need any of the parts that the 1st technician ordered and the 2nd technician couldnt help because he said the whole freezer needed to be unplugged X 24 hrs to thaw out the frozen door. Problem: There are absolutely NO freezers anywhere within 50 miles of my home that I can rent while my freezer thaws out!!!

I was very disappointed with my Maintenance and Preventive service on my Kenmore dishwasher. I thought the service would be a cleaning and check of the dishwasher and parts. All the man did was to tell me to use a certain type of dishwasher detergent, and to put a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher when it ran. I paid $50 for this! I do not recommend this service!

We are pleased with our Sears Home Protection Plan. This last visit was a repair on the second appliance in our home that is covered by the plan. The service man was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to get a part delivered the same day and even returned on that day to complete the repair. We will definitely take the protection plan again and will tell friends and neighbors how well it works.

My dryer stopped working on a Thursday night and I was able to get an appointment using the online option the next day. Technician had the part in the truck, changed it in a very reasonable amount time. He even cleaned all the lint inside and gave me the contact information to have the air vent cleaned. Back to being able to do laundry in one day was great

The technician always called when close to my residence, and in addition, I got an automated call announcing his arrival soon. Guy was super nice—called to let me know hed be late. I fully expected to pay top dollar for at least two parts for my washer, but he ended up fixing one, and replacing the other that the cheapest I could find online was $35, he charged $7 for. Even with the service call, it got done faster and cheaper than if I got the parts and fixed it myself.

I was concerned the first time when the repair man came out and didnt stay to see if it was fixed. He should have known immediately that the water was not going into the ice maker. So I waited, he said to wait for 24 hours. I did still no ice in the ice maker. So, I had to call back again to have him come back and order a new ice maker. So I was without the ice maker for about 2 weeks while they ordered the new item. Once it was fixed, it works great. Just a little annoying it wasnt noticed the first time he was out here and could have ordered the part at that time.

The radio was taken out. and then a week later . I received a call told the part that was needed Sony does not make and more. He told me to wait a week ,and Sears will call me to choose a replacement. That hasnt happen yet. I do hope you have a similar radio as this was a great one.

I only gave one star because I had a very hard time getting Sears to come out and fix my broken oven door. It took approximately 8 weeks to get the part, and no one in customer service ever gave me correct information. I was told the part was on backorder indefinitely. The part finally made it here, after I made countless phone calls and online chats. This is the last time we will buy anything from Sears. The only good part at all was the repairman, Chad. He was courteous, professional, and very kind with my situation when he was in my home.

Initial appointment set up was very difficult. On phone they wanted us to wait a week for a technician. Online it showed there was availability the next day. Technician showed up next day during scheduled window. He diagnosed problem before even pulling out refrigerator. He ordered parts and arranged to have them dropped off that afternoon. This was a 1 1/2 year old LG (Kenmore Elite) model. Compressor was shot. He scheduled with me to come back next day to do repair. Parts arrived as scheduled. Then I received a call cancelling next day appt. Called and was told they could not do repair for 2 days. We went on line and set up another appt for the next day. When technician showed up he did not know someone had already been there. He checked out refrigerator and priced out repair for $100 less than previous technician. $100 less, The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. Labor price is based on how long it should take to do repair. The second technician was really good. He fully repaired it in 3 hours. He deserves a better rating but the first tech deserves a minus rating so I went with a 3 overall. Do not buy an LG refrigerator. Both techs said that is what they repair most often!!

Called Sunday / received service Monday afternoon as scheduled.Service man was very knowledgeable of Kenmore Dish washer. He went over service call price & repair costs. Quickly identified problem / promptly corrected problem ...............The service rep was very respectful, cleaned up after completion.This service man deserves an accommodation for his work ethics and people skills.My only complaint is the price of the repair was a bit high. $80 for an estimate?! I need a $20 heater coil replaced in a dryer.... The repair is simple, the diagnosis obvious, and should take less than an hour. Sears wont provide an estimate without a $80 on-site technician visit. Ill take my business to your competitors who serve their customers, not gouge them with up front fees.

Everything was fine until he presented me with an extra charge. I had paid for the job when he first came out and had to order the part. I was told the extra charge was for the helper that hadnt been added in at the beginning. I do not think it was fair to charge me more after I had paid in advance.

Sears Home repair is just UNBEATABLE! My Whirlpool washer went out, and with 4 kids, that is a disaster. I called and they fit me in the very next day. The repair man was here right on time, had the washer hooked up to the computer and fixed with in an hour. No hidden costs and the guy was very friendly and helpful as well. Sears has service you just cant beat.

We are not happy with the service by sears1. Our Kenmore Elite (LG) is only a year and a half old2. It took 3 weeks to get the parts- 3 weeks with out a refrigerator- try it sometime3. There might be some legal issues here- Implied Warranties: a refrigerator should last more then two years- Why are parts not available for one of their best selling products- and how can they sell something with a warranty they cannot back up.4.There is a mass of material online that makes one wonder if Sears has created a service business and has no interest in repairing their products in a timely manner. This is an ongoing repair review.....started in Nov 2015....had 5 service calls....none of them fixed the problem and Sears wont handle this like it is a LEMON...but it is!!!!It is a white Kitchen Aid French door 14 month old refrigerator and needing repairs......it became schizophrenic and wanted to be a freezer....froze everything in the refrigerator section. So I lost some food, like mayo, sour cream and a few other things..spinach.....I did buy it at the scratch and dent part of Sears, so....does this serve me right....got it for under $1000 with no obvious scratches.....I am disappointed that it broke 2 months out of warranty.....pretty sickening....then the repair guys, both very nice and knowledgeable, did not agree with each others diagnosis, so the 1st one ordered parts and the second one took them back and went out and bought something else altogether.......so, his repair was not successful as my food remained in the frozen tundra of the refrigerator section.....I called them back and had to reschedule, but now I only had Sat available so I had to wait a week.....it was a darn good thing that my old frig in the garage was now working.....or I would have been SOOL....So this time I got the original repairman, and he had the part I needed......he had to thaw out all my water/ice maker lines......so all in all, I have been without a refrigerator for 2.5 weeks.....the product is supposed to be top of the line, but it wasnt, Sears sells me an on the spot warranty good up until $500, for $275.......bill came to $479....so did I save.....I dont feel so good about this, but I must live with it.....I would hate to see Sears go under as they support our Military....trapped.....Update Dec 5th.....last repairman came last Saturday, a week ago.....made a few adjustments and tested the temperature all over the fridge, said it was perfect.....was very friendly, clean, mannerly, knowledgeable, but he left and the entire water system for ice and drinking water is still frozen. I guess it is up to me to unplug my fridge, and defrost it so I can use all the features I paid for.....it is a darn good thing I have a back up fridge and stand up freezer so I CAN do this......with whats going on in the world, I suppose this is considered good service....who knows anymore.It is now Jan 9 and I had one more visit from Brian the repairman, who went to bat for me on the phone with the 3rd party repair service that Sears contracts with.....he had no success to get me a replacement refrigerator...in essence, all I would get was a $500.00 credit for a new fridge, but I had just paid $275 to get all these attempted repairs done....which did not work....my fridge is still acting like a freezer. So I would be only getting $225 of real money towards a new fridge and they would take away my ailing fridge.....what a deal.....so I have just decided to keep it and move it to the garage and bring my old fridge back into the kitchen. The repair people who came to my house 5x were very professional, however, the rules of the company are not written to give the customer any satisfaction. I will never buy from Sears again and I have a sneaking suspicion that Sears may be going out of business. To those buying a new fridge, get all the warranty you can buy when you buy your new fridge as it will not last....they are not built like the old ones that lasted 25 years. Oh and my kitchen flooded 2x as the water filter cracked and leaked like an open faucet...nice!Happy New Year!!!

This has been the worst service experience I have ever had with Sears. One month later, my washing machine is still not working.My repair was outsourced to a company that did not diagnose the problem correctly; tried to convince me that my one-year old washing machine was discontinued, no longer had repair parts, and Sears would have to order me a new one; it took me two weeks of dealing with Sears parts to find Jose, who actually had common sense, to order the replacement part because Sears obviously still carries part on machines it currently sells; at my most recent appointment the technician replaced the part but didnt check to see if the washing machine worked. Accordingly, after one month of watching, two repair calls, about 8 hours of hold time, my washing machine still does not work.When I called last Saturday to get a new technician out to correctly diagnose the problem, all I was told by three levels of manager was that we are busy and cant get there until next Friday, sorry.This is unacceptable.

Service tech tested our microwave & said it was working fine. We called because while cooking two strips of bacon on a paper plate with the bacon wrapped in paper towels a fire broke out inside the microwave oven. We were quite alarmed because we had cooked bacon in this manner for years and we never experienced the paper towel bursting into flames. Tech said it was normal so I guess we have to take his word for it but I must say it was a very scary sight.

The on site technician did not have any technical documentation and deep knowledge of my TV. The central office decide on the phone what he need to do onsite. More than 5 times take a same repair on my TV. The result are same, not solve the technical issues, my TV unusable. Always frozen after 30 minutes.Im an Engineer, and really sad, that way of the repair is totally unprofessional!The only good news for me, Sears decide, will be change my TV.Im just waiting for my usable TV after 1 years frustrations.

They have been out 6 times and refrigerator still not fixed. Coming out again on Wednesday. Ordered 7 parts and still did not work right. Finally on 7th visit they are replacing this lemon of a refrigerator. Its no wonder Sears is doing poorly. Warrenties are useless because they make U do so many things before its finally replaced. Plus there is long waits 4 them to come out. Now they cheated me out of my refund of food loss.No-one said it had to be in within 2 wks. Not on receipt.I waited 3 wks 4 the refrain. and they changed the delivery date, again.I sent in 4 food refund after that and was told I should have done it on 5/16. Non working refrain. oil now. Technician was thorough and pleasant to deal with one of the more satisfied service visits I have had for the moment.However, two days after he left the problem surfaced again for the THIRD TIME and my frustration level with it. This Saturday, 8.22, will mark the 3rd visit in 4 weeks and my washer still isnt fixed. Parts are being ordered and the next guy who shows up says thats not the part needed. At least the last guy who showed up was honest that he didnt know what wrong and would need to send someone else out to look at it. I work full time, 50-60 hours a week, so Saturdays are the only days Im available as I refuse to miss work for the continued nonsense that Sears has put me through. My free time is both precious and fleeting, so wasting my Saturdays waiting for someone to show up (appointment for 10-2 turned in to 3:15 p.m.), to then not have the machine repaired, to then go waste more of my fleeting and precious free time at a filthy laundromat is more than I care to tolerate. It is my understanding with the warranty I pay for monthly, that if the machine is not repaired after 3 visits, that I am due a replacement. Go ahead and bring a replacement with you when you come on Saturday, 8.22, because if it cant be repaired, I dont have another 4 weeks to wait. To date, I have given Sears $640 between the monthly price of the warranty and the deductible payments for coming to my home to look at my washer. Ive more than paid for a replacement both monetarily and in overall aggravation and time wasted.

I have a contract on my kenmore fridge.The repair contractor was great. He did NOT however work directly for Sears. I was without my fridge for 14 days...thats FOURTEEN DAYS ! ! ! because Sears customer service (in the Phillipines) was totally unresponsive to my needs. I called on Friday morning and they refused to send anyone until Monday. Once he got here, he had to order a part. He wanted to order two, but Sears would only authorize one. They also refused to authorize overnight shipping and Liza in customer service (in the Phillipines) had ZERO compassion or empathy for the fact that I was already without a fridge in Florida, in the Summer. Should I mention that Im on a special diet for health reasons that requires lots of produce? So the repairman returned and surprise, he needed another part. Wait again and this one didnt work either.Cutting to the chase, 4 parts, 14 days and 6 visits from the repairman later my fridge is fixed.Ive been a satisfied Sears customer for about 30 years, but I haveN E V E R been treated so poorly by a company before.I wont do business with them again. They charged me $400 and the appliance is still broken. They are saying there is absolutely nothing they can do to either remove and refund the part they installed that clearly didnt fix the issue or offer any kind of discount for waisting my time and causing a major inconvenience.On Thursday I called because my wachine machene was giving error codes and not working. The service window was 4 hours so I took a day off from work. Technician showed up and after spending 5 minutes looking at the machine said it needed a new computer that would cost $400. I relied on his expertise and agreed. He installed the part, charged me, left without testing the maching. Now I am getting exactly the same error codes I was before he came out.According to Sears, I can either take another day off from work or wait a week till next Saturday (I am a single mom with 2 small kids) to have another technician come out and see whats it wrong with the machine. I called twice and spent an hour on the phone each time because at this point I just want my money back so I can call someone else today to have it fixed. They are completely refusing to either send someone out quicker, offer some sort of a price adjusment if I have to take more time off from work or wait another week to get it fixed or take a part out and refund me. So, I am out of $400 and left to deal with the mistake their technician made. I called Sears because I felt it was a reputable company that hired diligent workers who know what they are doing. Well, they clearly dont give a damn about their customers after everything is paid for.

This is at least the fourth time a technician has tried to address our problem, and we are told there is no fix. The Samsung refrigerator has a design flaw. The service personnel are unprofessional and refuse to rectify the situation. I paid a lot of money for all of my kitchen appliances, purchased a warranty, and I am extremely dissatisfied. Sears and Samsung DO NOT honor warranties.

I always to complain but even though the serviceman was OK, the product is the problem. I am extremely disappointed in the product, as noted on last rating so I assume I am stuck with an appliance that is not at all what I expected. I will be hesitant to consider other items from Sears.

Very well trained experienced technician, upfront cost of fix, The refrigerator defect was diagnosed in a couple minutes and fixed in about a half hour, could not ask for a better repair visit.

It was for a repair on a knob on my range. It was a loose screw, he tightened it and checked the other three and was out of here in ten minutes. He was very professional and friendly. I had a very good experience.

Repairman was UNSYMPATHETIC regarding our situation. said his job is loss prevention. not customer care. heated water in micro & tested it. said it fell JUST IN tolerance levels of manufacturer. he could not recommend replacement. (within our 30 days of purchase & we bought 5 yr warranty plan). 2 mins 15 sec to heat a cup of coffee. unacceptable. convection burned my casserole on the top & never totally heated the green bean casserole. burned my choc. chip cookies using convection. i/2 of pan was cooked..the other was burned. this is your best unit. one that gets the fewest returns or disapprovals. the unit isdefective and repair man said no based on a marginally warm cupof water. damned sears. we have bought thru you for 50 years.. no more thank you.

Terrible, the technician monkey rigged it, had it working. Went to go use it and it does not work. Cost me $200 and does not work.Filled out work order online, was incorrect so he charged me more then quoted. He rried to get the back office to re open a new work order, 45 minutes later the back office did not get it done so he thought he would monkey rig it to work.Poor work, cost me to fix was 1/2 of a new one and it still does not work.

The repairman was prompt and saw that my disposerwas working properly, tightened up some screws and it no longer leaked. He cleaned the disposer with ice cubes and it works fine.

After two technicians, several phone callsfiiling complaints with Sears and four weeks, my washer is now repaired.Sears uses sub contracts another company named Trinity.The two techs from that company that came to repair mywasher were young and had very little knowledge is any inrepairing a washer. When I spoke to Sears about this, allSears woud do was give me a case number to reference backto. Sears did not follow up in this matter.I was very disapointed in the Sears Customer Service dept.for not rectifying the problem.Customer Service gets a F.I solved the problem by making a new appt.Sears repair tech. gets an AHe repaired, explained and was curteous too.Sears needs to look into their customer complaints.
