I made a appointment for service. there was a discrepancy with the time i was told. when i contacted the office the time they were telling me.i couldnt make due to work. i was told im wrong yelled at and hung up on. maybe a bad day maybe there getting to big to care. they could be a good company had good reviews but i know what i was told when i set up my appointment. i really cant understand this. anyway i said what i had to say

Theresa in the office is very unprofessional. Repair man installed the part incorrect and she blamed my wiring in my house. Electrician came out and found the problem in 5 minutes. $200 for a 6 minute repair done incorrect.

They are in demand in our area and I can understand why - they are super honest people. Great and timely service.

I was really frustrated with my LG oven. Branden came out and checked everything out. Then he took the time to explain what was happening and how to get the best out of my oven. Wow! What a refreshing experience! Appliance Specialty is a great company to work with!Last night our expensive Kitchenaid refrigerator quit working. I called the selling dealer this morning, and they recommended Appliance Specialty to fix my out-of-warranty refrigerator. I called them around 9am and they promised a tech between 11 and 1pm. Branden showed around 11:15, diagnosed the problem and checked some common issues and had a fix before noon! He only charged the minimum, and we got lots of free advice from this knowledgeable, personable, clean-cut young man.

Left a message late evening on their answering system, they returned my call within 20 minutes of opening the next morning. They promptly had someone out to repair my refrigerator within a couple hours. Brandon was very pleasant, and knowledgeable about determining and resolving the issue. I asked for several business cards so I can recommend them to my friends.

Darrell was very nice. Fixed my washer but couldnt install gas stove as it had a hard gas line the needed a shutoff valve and he was not licensed to work on the gas line itself. I was very pleased with the washer and the charge was minimal for the time he spent on it.

Honest, Professional, Knowledgeable, neat and clean repair! My Samsung washer stopped spinning and was also leaking water from underneath. I wasnt sure if it could be repaired?? What an excellent place!!!! Had problems with our freezer and fridge not cooling Spoke to Brandon that morning and he came out that afternoon. Took a few seconds to listen to fridge, immediately diagnosed the issue, told me what it would cost(VERY REASONABLE) and had the new part installed and back up and running within minutes. Showed me the old part and explained what had happened. Would highly recommend this business. These people care, are polite and efficient. Theyve got my business if I ever need an appliance fixed again!!!!!

This company has incredible fast, professional and courteous service. I called this morning with an emergency and they did their best to fit me in to their tight schedule. A few hours later Brandon was at my condo and repaired my Whirlpool front-load washer right on the spot. Their pricing is very fair and competitive. Have never had such a positive appliance repair experience!!! Was referred by LG as an authorized service provider. Had great policy of applying estimate against repair. Estimate visit was next day. David was very thorough and honest! Diagnosed problem and suggested we have an additional warranty repair done as possible preventive measure for future problem. Day of service he got tied up with another call and I honestly expected a reschedule. But no, he showed up at 5:30 and stayed till repair was done (8pm). And preventive measure he suggested turned out to be good call. Once machine was taken apart it was discovered there was a crack in the drum of the machine and water was leaking and machine would have needed additional service within a year. This judgement call saved me hundreds!!! Will definitely use them in the future!!!!

This is the 2nd time we have used this company for appliance repairs , and we have been extremely pleased both times ! Our Bosch Microwave had an issue and I had not erroneously did not purchased the extended protection plan. I called Appliance Specialty due to their proximity to my home and its rating by customers. Today technician DAVID arrived at my residence to fix my microwave. He was extremely courteous towards my family and I. It only took him a few minutes to figure out what the issue was and present a solution. David had the parts to fix my microwave on his truck and completed the job quick. David saved my wife and I $1900 for a new microwave. If anyone reads this message, know that I do not write many reviews, but David is part of this family owned business which still provides Family Owned services. They will get all of my business needs from now on.

Have used Appliance Specialty twice in the last month and will continue to use them. Both times they came to our condo, once for my dryer and once for my oven. These folks are the best! Our electric cook stove shorted out. I was concerned about a possible fire hazard. I called these guys at 8am and by 9am Darrell ( the owner) was here. This is the second time I have used Appliance Specialty.. First time was a warranty issue with a Refridge.. The first company that was sent to our condo by the manufacture could not fix the issue after 3 trips.. Appliance Specialty was given the issue and fixed it the first time.. I then had a problem with the freezer at our house.. Within about 10 seconds after seeing the issue, Branden (the Tech) advised me of the issue and cost.. Freezer is working perfect.. I was so impressed with Branden, that I called Appliance Specialty immediately after he left and thanked them.. I was so impressed by their professionalism.

We called for a service call to repair our clothes washer and ice maker. Branden was very prompt in diagnosing the problems that same day. Their prices were very fair. Fair warning before using this company : Spoke to the RUDEST women on the phone. Who actually hung up on me and told me I was wasting her time. I was calling to get my dishwasher serviced per the LG manufacturer recommendation. She added me to the schedule and I asked for estimated cost to this way I don’t waste anyone’s time on coming out to look at my dishwasher if it’s going to be a couple hundred bucks I rather get a new one. She proceeded to tell me she’s one person and during the holidays this is what I could expect from any company. I told her I didn’t plan for my dishwasher to break obviously during the holidays and that I just didn’t want to waste anyone’s time, IF it was the motor is she could give me an estimate on that. She proceeded to tell me she was just a simple officer worker and only her technician could give me a estimate. Then proceeded to tell me it’s a family run business and her husband and two sons are the technicians. Again , I explained that all I wanted was an estimate so I don’t take up time on their schedule when they could be going to another customers house so I don’t waste anyone’s time. She told me I’d have to wait until my day of service when the tech called me in the morning with my time window. I asked if someone could call me with the estimate today so I don’t take up a spot from some one else. Again if it’s going to be a couple hundred bucks I’d buy a new dishwasher. She screamed “ you’re wasting my time now!” AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME. Instead of talking over your customer and repeating yourself over and over again ( great sales pitch of repetition) you should really try to listen to what someone’s saying before you try and cut them off when they are just trying to save your company time.

Pleasant staff answering phone clearly and completely explained charges for service call, appointment setting and confirmation process, Technician was slightly delayed in arriving during appointment window but called to explain problem and estimated time of arrival. Arrived with necessary tools in hand, well presented...promptly diagnosed and repaired problem. Explained and showed what problem was. Would not hesitate o recommend or use again.

Terrific!! On time, knowledgeable and reasonably priced to review issues with our double wall oven.....which turned out to be a manufacturing issue. Understandable explanation and suggestions for how to avoid the issue in the future. They aee now our choice for appliance repair....we can see why Famous Tates has faith in them too.

My 1 month old dryer blew out during a lightening storm. Needless to say, I was not happy. I spoke with Theresa at Appliance Specialty and she was able to send a repairman the very next day. David was prompt, polite, an expert in his field, honest, clean and fast. He explained everything he did several times.....mostly because I am not all at electrically intelligent. I am so happy with this entire experience - except the lightening. I will definately use them again for all my appliance repairs, and I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

My experience may be an outlier, but it has not been a good one unfortunately. Our Frigidaire dishwasher purchased from Famous Tate has had some problems. We have an extended warranty through Bankers Warranty (BW). We contacted BW who sent Appliance Specialty (AS) to fix the machine. The tech stated he would have to order both controller boards to do the repair....okay no problem. When the tech returned he only installed one. We have subsequently had more issues with the machine wanting to drain constantly and not responding to commands. AS contacted me and the problem described. We got off on the wrong foot immediately when he asked me if it was still not working. Being an intermittent issue I could not guarantee, and he said he would have to charge me if it was working when he came to the house. He called me but had no information of the previous service visit or repair made. After fully informing him he was to return to my home and troubleshoot/repair. Well...he asked my wife how she was. Her reply was she was fine and would be better with a working dishwasher. The tech said something smart in return about having to come back. Then my wife who is not one to mince words said well if the tech had not done a half-assed job. Well Chris the tech must be a sensitive soul because he said he was leaving because she cursed at him. REALLY APPLIANCE SPECIALTY? We are letting Bankers Warranty figure it out but I still have a dishwasher on the fritz!

I am not very happy I called a week ago today and left a msg that our frig is still not getting up to temp if David does not want to come back please let me know, its old but a return call would have been nice.

Very rude attidute!!! Just called for an estimate on how much a refrigerator repair is gonna cost based on model #, and I was unable to figure out what I was gonna be charged. If you have to hang up the phone while your customer is still on the line, without providing a legittimate information, yelling against him that you dont charge per hour (when you have never been asked to charge hourly!), either you have something to hide, or you dont like how you are running your business, or your business does something wrong to the public. Or all above.
