Overall, a decent place to live. I had a small studio apartment that had outdated amenities, but it was well-kept and the unit was spotless upon move in. The leasing office and Community Manager are attentive and respectful. I cleaned the unit as best as I could and received most of my deposit back, which I found reasonable and to be expected. The surrounding area is not all that nice, but you are RIGHT next to freeway entrances and on the boarder of Roseville, so that was a plus. The only con which is pretty major is the cockroach problem, the office is aware of this and will come out immediately to treat the concern. I work in Property Management, and there is not much that can be done about insects other than treat, treat, and treat again. Most of the roaches that were in my unit were already dead, which means they come from deeper in the ground, so will not cause much of a concern other than just being startling. Another slight complaint is that the parking spaces were quite far from your actual unit. I lived alone and found it a little unsettling having to walk that far to my apartment, but this wasnt a deal breaker. The laundry room has a lot of units and never had an issue with it being too busy. The pool was kept clean and the landscaping was always nice and pleasant. Overall, good place at a good location, could use some updated appliances though :)

Dont rent from any properties run by CTL management. Property is infested with cockroaches and dumpster divers. They raised my rent from 700-1100 in less than 5 years. The manager also used the campfire tragedy as an excuse as to why the company was raising the rent.There was a shooting in the apartment above me and another tenant lit his apartment on fire. There is always someone digging through the dumpsters with no security or security cameras in the parking lot. Absolutely the worst experience I ever had with a rental company. Glad Im no longer there. The model apartment they showed me was much nicer than the apartment I was given. They made no upgrades in my unit while my rent continued to climb. I had to walk about 75 yards from where I parked to my apartment. Theres a fire alley that is a highway for dumpster divers that is used all hours of the day and night. Worst experience Ive ever had with a rental company.

I lived here for two years. Small cute apartments, lots of pests but not a problem if u get a cat. This place is a complete trip. Move here for all sorts of stories to tell your grandkids when youre older. Also, matinence men and office managers have always been nice af. Also, never plan on having guests unless they uber.

Like living here. In general quiet and clean property. Area off property is up and coming. Very near all shopping, and I-80. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Apartment is comfortable.

Apartment was returned neat and clean. Still CTL is greedy and will not return my deposit. Stay away from these dishonest people. They are professional liars.Their property has lots of pests including abundance of roaches. This was brought to the attention of the property manager Patrece Cornelius and she did nothing. STAY AWAY!

To say this place sucks is an understatement, but where do I begin?This place is a roach infested trash pile. We have had our place sprayed 10+ times, and still it seems we get them. They are outside, they are even in the office!! And every time we talk with management , about this, they treat this like its just business as usual.Dont rent here. You are a number to them, and they cannot and will not accommodate with you. My wife and I are only staying here because are options are limited and are very sure they would not give us our security deposit back.This place was good but until they can fix the bugs and get someone who actually cares about their renters, this place will stay a trash pile.P.S. If someone parks in your spot, the complex cannot do anything until the next day and thats if they are still in your spot. Seriously this place is a joke!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE! I checked out of their apartment on May 17, 2020. I hired professional cleaners and cleaned the apartment as good as at the time of renting it. However, Patrece Cornelius (Property Manager) shows me the invoices claiming that she spent more than $400 for cleaning the small apartment. That is not true. And for that reason, she refused to refund my deposit. She is a lair and trained everyone in her office to do the same! She does not know dishonesty will not take her anywhere. CTL is not a renting company, but a professional lairs company.Soon after check in, I found lots of roaches inside the apartment. No food is safe inside. Like a mini roach-land! I sent a request to Patrece, I was asked to fill an application for pest treatment. But that never happened! The owner does not understand that professionalism has to be shown by honesty, straightforwardness, and polite customer service and not replying to the feedback with false details.I brought to the attention of Patrece that my parking is taken by other tenants or visitors. She advised me to park my car half a mile away and walk from there. She also advised me to call the security guys. I did so. However, nothing happened. I had to be a silent witness of my parking being taken by others.You know Patrece you are lying that you spent the deposit for cleaning, in your heart of your heart. Honestly, return my deposit! Thank you!

I found this complex to be a really comfy place to live. It was decently priced for the area and is right next to some good restaurants, a Big Lots, and the freeway. Downsides include noise (the freeway is in your backyard) and parking, which sucks after 5pm.

I lived at Sierra Glen for a short time, before breaking my lease due to an out of state job offer. They were very accommodating, fair, quick, and upfront with the whole process. In terms of management, the single best complex Ive ever lived in. Thank you Patrece and Nichole!

This place is pretty much a free for all. Rules are not enforced unless someone is having a bad day. They pick and choose when they will enforce rules. This is supposed to be a smoke free complex, but there are tenants smoking everywhere, with no accountability. Neighbors dont pick up their dog poop. We have neighbors who seem to never leave. We have neighbors with 4+ cars and it is very difficult to find a space after work. Often times the neighbors personal space is free and they take all the open spaces. There are also tenants who have taken a vacant apartments spot, which apparently is ok. I do not like having to worry about whether or not I will have a place to park. I have also had our downstairs neighbors guests park in our personal spot many times. You arent even guaranteed your own spot, because they will not tow until so many warnings..There are multiple cars parked backwards, although this is not allowed. One car even has cob webs, which means its been there awhile. The last time I parked backwards I got a notice to tow. The issues puts a huge damper on the complex. Definitely makes living here unpleasant and frustrating. Apartment living is miserable. Definitely not enjoyable at all. 🙄😤

These apartments are really good for your first apartment. The office ladies are very helpful and nice and help you as much as they can. The pool area is very nice they also have vending machines 😊. The Maintenance guy is also very helpful and Kees everything up to date when asked. The only problem right now is the stairs are kinda gross they have gum and dirt all over them which tracks into the apartment. I️ hope they can clean them before the rain starts and makes it worse.

This complex is terrible, Ive had over $500 Of my laundry stolen from the laundry facility, and no one could do anything about it as there was no cameras at the time. We once had the police knocking on our door late at night telling us wed be safer packing up and leaving for the night because they had an incident w a near by neighbor. So we packed up our daughter and left with all these cops surrounded with their guns drawn. This complex is ghetto, it is extremely comical the amount of rent they are wanting to charge tenants as well.

We have been here almost 2 years. Our first year was really good! Our neighbors were respectful and we loved taking advantage of the pool during summer this year. We love the layout and using the fireplace. Felt like home to newlyweds like us. But first issue was our toilet kept backing up. For at least a week. We had to have someone come out at all times of night just so we could go again.. It was horrible. Come to find out, the manager Patrice had dropped a pen down our toilet and NEVER told us. She just smiled and kept apologizing. Thank goodness the repair guy advocated for us and we got a new toilet all together. But then we got roaches. We turned down so many places before finding Sierra Glen because they had a history of roaches. This place didnt have one review until now. We are CLEAN people. Not that we dont have a mess here and there but we had never had roaches before. Patrice again wasnt the nicest about this situation. She told us we needed to plug the drains after every use. When I was irritated by this, she said Its not that hard. Do YOU want to live with roaches? Do YOU want to have to do that every time you wash dishes? The plus was that they exterminate at their expense. But apparently she informed us that the units on this side were the only ones experiencing this roach problem. She was and is extremely passive aggressive- I still dread going to the office to talk to her. From then until now, we STILL have roach problems! We have had are apartment treated at least 4 times now. Ridiculous. Then our upstairs neighbor moved out and we got neighbors from hell. We had to call the front office often because they banged around all times of day and night. Like for HOURS! Im not even exaggerating. We had to call the cops on them because of domestic violence that we personally heard above our bedroom. Called the front office to let them know. For weeks now there are at least 4 people living there that arent on the lease and are super loud (the guy on the lease actually got arrested last week or so- we came home to 3 police officers forcing their way in upstairs and dragging the guy away). I honestly wouldnt care who was up there but this girl that he is dating I guess I dont know their situation was literally vacuuming for hours and started vacuuming again at 1am. My husband just called the front office yesterday obviously upset and Patrice had the nerve to call him belligerent while talking to my husband on speaker phone. Super professional right? We are just waiting the 6 months and hopefully we are able to find another place so we can get out of here!

My family and I have lived here for three years now and the upkeep is immaculate and theyre always upgrading great place to live

Honestly this place is a good place if your trying to stay at the apartments for a while. The office ladies are great, they try to help you out as much possible. I went through a couple bumps down the road and they worked with me to finish out my lease.

I moved in end of May n there are rats in the apartment. Big black ones. There was a whole under kitchen sink previousley patch up but rats chewed through n another whole behind stove. Can you imagen over a month these rats home is n been the apt. All managment tells me is this is the first time they hear that. The right thing to do is move us in another apt while the invested rats are taken care of. Snd why should I pay to live with rats!!!!!!

My daughter lives here. The only problem is parking. If you work late there is usually no parking and you have to park out of the complex and walk along way in.

Live there for about six months last year the apartment was clean neighbors were quiet and the staff was friendly

Apartments where nice sizes,seemed like a fairly decent place to live for awhile.

Im extremely disappointed with Sierra Glen apartments. Do not move here. Its terrible.
