Front desk is nice, facility is nice and clean. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes for service here.The quality of your nails and your manicure experience are truly a roll of the dice depending on which nail tech you get.Ive been coming here for a few months and Ive had 2, 3, 4, and 5 star experiences with my dip nails. My 5 star experience had perfectly shaped nails that were all identical and beautiful nail art. My 2 star experience had a few oval nails, and few almond nails, and a few crooked shaped attempts at almond that were all too long.I recommend finding someone you like and then calling ahead to make an appointment with that person. If you walk in you will get whoever is available.

I went in for a full acrylic set. I wanted a narrow square shape and long but the tech encouraged me to go shorter. Then this is what I got. Seems like acrylic is not their strong suit.

Had a great experience at Top Nails Salon today. It was my first time coming in for a sns mani and pedi and was in and out in under 1 hr and 45 mins and extremely happy with how they turned out. The icing on the cake was being cheaper than local ambiance salons. I will definitely return

Went to get a pedicure and my nails done before my vacation. they made me wait (i had an appointment) and then after doing my nails, i was told the technician doing my toes was tired and wanted to go home. the young girl still my pedicure. it may have been best if she did not do it, because two days later my big toe swelled up and infected. now it has traveled up my toe, and had to see a podiatrist and now on antibiotics. just wanted nice toes for vacation. will never ever go back here, and would NEVER recommend.

I walked in 11 am to be serviced the place was not full at all. The man asked if I had an appointment, I said no I was a walk in. He had me sit down and said we have nothing available which is fine but he walked away and didn’t offer me a later appointment or ask if I’d like to schedule something. He immediately took a phone call . No other customers were waiting it was just me.

By far best nail salon!!!!! several of my friends go here as well... every tech is very talented .. This is literally the ONLY nail salon I have ever been to that actually listened to what I wanted done to my nails and made them exactly how I want them not one other time have I ever went to any nail salon and my nails been exactly how I want them!!! I will never go anywhere else

I felt like I was getting my nails done by a Catholic nun! She smacked my hand whenever I did something she didn’t like. Constantly scolded me and told me I had to keep my elbows on the table. She hurt me many times because she was so rough and I have cuts all over my fingers from her filing so hard. After I told her that I help people find jobs for a living, she went on a rant about people taking money from the government and being lazy, which I do not appreciate. I will never go back to this salon. It was clean, but not professional at all.

This place is great! I’ve been coming for a few months now and the service is consistently good. The facility is clean and if you are a walk in the owner makes sure you get taken care of quickly! Can’t recommend them enough!

I’ve always loved this place and they’ve always taken good care of me, but today I had Mimi as my nail tech and I’ve never been happier with my nails in my life. She was so nice and personable she did an amazing job on my nails and did everything I asked for. Everything about my experience today was above and beyond.

This was my first time going to this particular location and it will probably be my last. Jessie was my nail technician and she was unfortunately very impersonal and unprofessional. I tried to be as polite as possible to her when she needed to reshape my nails, scrubbed my feet too hard, and messed up my nail polish, but she would either ignore me or speak to her colleagues about me in her native language (I could tell because they would look right at me after she spoke to them). When one of her regular clients arrived she was very friendly toward her and then simply passed me on to another technician to finish my polish. Id had an awful week and just wanted to pamper myself a bit, but Jessie made me wish Id never stopped in. I even spoke to the manager who was understanding and apologetic, but I still left feeling like Id never want to return. Ive never had this kind of experience at a nail salon before, and I cant believe I actually paid for this treatment!

Go to Ari if you’re like me and want a bomb set of nails. She blinged me out. I have a crooked Shape finger she did a perfect job fiting it to my finger. They have more colors than their competitors. It was clean and quiet. A competitive price. They could speak more but overall ARI killed my set. Wish they had a bar.

Everytime I’ve been to Top Nails the technicians are very immature and over expressive when it comes to pedicures services (especially if you’re black and yes the profiling is real!)The technicians need etiquette training and to literally GROW UP!

Absolute worst nail salon experience ever. Paid for the best pedicure service offered just to leave with raw nails beds with chunks of skin missing and gel polish lumpy and blotchy. Owner was not in so one of the other techs decided to only knock $10 off for the “inconvenience”. Was supposed to get a fill but decided against that last minute so that I did not leave more frustrated than I already was. I have an issue every single time and yet I’ve tried to remain in faith that they will do better the next time around but I will not step foot into this business ever again.

Me and my daughter went here on Saturday so we could both get a manicure and pedicure when I was signing us in they said that they could only service one of us at the time(5ish) and the other one could be serviced at 7. I was very perplexed and just had my daughter get her gel manicure and a basic pedicure. She enjoyed her time there maybe next time we can experience it together.

Nails are too thick and she cut my fingers (4 of them!!! I was bleeding and she didnt even say sorry!). I paid $102 to someone to cut my fingers and do a terrible job. She was on a rush because I was her last appointment so she did everything on a rush to be out ASAP.

I went here on a whim because of the 20% off deal they had going on. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to beautiful decor, a very peaceful ambiance, and friendly faces. It was a new guy doing my pedicure and he messed up. I was there for 1.5 hours already literally just getting my feet done. They told me they would let me come back and get them redone before I paid because my polish was lumpy and he cut my toe nails extremely short. I paid them and asked them when could I come back and she said, well im satisfied with your toes and then proceeded to argue. I left but I would never go back. My toes look like a 3rd grader did them. Go to Ambiance.

They got us in fast with no appointment.. Although I tried to make small talk, but nothing.. I like to chat with my manicurist. Maybe thats just my preference.. All good though

I was in dire need of a gel fill in and Diane came and saved the day for me lol :) . I also like how safe they are when it comes to covid-19 precautions. Have always left loving my acrylics, friendly staff. I wish they would warn you that you cannot tip on your card. They have an ATM inside but the ATM forces you to do a balance inquiry before withdrawing (which a lot of banks charge for on top of the atm fee) and the card goes so far into the machine that you then can’t get it out if you have remotely long nails and it almost ate my card.. besides that.. I like this place.

First time appointment, it was clean and social distancing procedures being followed, but as for getting my full set done.. these are undeniably the worst i’ve ever had done. They’re far too thick and i wanted shorter and much thinner natural looking french tip. (had a reference photo) although my reference photo was on natural nails and not acrylics this was soo off from what i wanted. whenever i asked for them to be shorter or thinner he just kept telling me they were already as short/thin as possible which is definitely not true. will not be returning.

First time here and won’t be my last! Ari did my pedicure today and she is the sweetest person ever. My pedicure turned out perfect. This salon is so clean and staff is friendly. Can’t wait to come back in a couple weeks.

My fiancee got her nails done and because she cut them shorter than normal they charged her 10 dollars more and they didnt tell her until it was after she had them almost done. Professionals would quote the price before the job is completed. How are you going to charge more for shorter nails. Lol this is price gouging. Lost a customer.

The salon is clean and the staff is typically courteous. I have standing appointments with Nia. She is the only person I go to. I met her during the shutdown of the salons. She made me two sets of custom press-ons. She is GREAT at what she does and can mimic WHATEVER style you ask. I typically let her freestyle and I leave extremely satisfied everytime!! Shes the GOAT PERIOD!!!

I went in for a birthday set and she rushed me out cut like 3 of my fingers. she told me she didn’t wanna deal with me the set literally took like 30 min and then wants to be very childish and take it to Instagram. Everyone in there is rude don’t go you’ll regret it !

Alex did my nails and he listened to every detail I wanted and they look great, and he was so friendly and made conversations with me the whole time! I probably won’t go anywhere else now!!!

Went to Top Nails in Oakley and Katie did a full set of pink and white ombré, and they are stunning! i’ve never been happier with a set of nails, she was super sweet and friendly! The staff is taking necessary safety precautions which is also a plus! HIGHLY recommend this place!!

The first time I visited this location it was great. Front staff, customer friendly, very knowledgeable of their responsibilities. Alex the nail technician. Great service. I scheduled my next appointment with him. My second appointment with Alex I did not receive the same great service. He treated me as if I interfered with whatever he was doing in the back. He asked me if he had waited on me before. I supposed he wanted to know how I got on his schedule. Now, Im in customer service also and please dont expect me to remember every one as I did not expect Alex to remember me. When moving from pedi to mani chair, he did not assist me with carrying either my purse or shoes. He asked me to soak my hands in the bowl. I waited for longer that I had expected for him to return from the back. He finally returned with a reason for the delay. It was not a good experience. My next visit my nail tech will be someone else. Other than that experience, Top Nails great friendly environment. Welcome to the Oakley area.

They filed my nails down way too far to the point where I am in pain. Not to mention the price for what I got was outrageous.

Nia cut 4 of my girlfriends fingers. Nails are too thick and her attitude was bad, always in a rush doing things bad to go out ASAP. Her 1st time getting fake nails and the experience was terrible.

Very disappointed in the quality of this place. I was really excited to try a new salon in Oakley since I’m not a fan of Ambiance’s work and it’s not always convenient to drive to the salon I normally go to in Kentucky, but this place left me disappointed. I went in for a gel manicure and it chipped within 4 days. So then I went back to have it fixed (which they did for free) and it chipped again 2 days later. The staff is incredibly kind and the salon is very clean but I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon if their gel polish doesn’t even make it to 10 days. Whenever I get my nails done by the woman I go to in a Kentucky it lasts 2-3 weeks....

Horrible nail techs! My nails were lifting the next week! Most of my nails popped off within 2 weeks. Will never come back!
