I usually don’t leave reviews, but I didn’t have that great of an experience today. I’ve been getting my nails done at ambiance for a couple years now and never had a problem. However, the nail tech I had today was very rude to me and yelled at me throughout the visit. I felt that she judged me and she was not that great with doing my nails. She gave me no directions whatsoever and made me pay at the beginning of the visit which was weird because I’ve always paid at the end, but I don’t know if that’s what they require now. I felt very disrespected throughout, and I still have to get my nails fixed even though I just got a basic manicure and the color on two of my nails have already come off. After she got done painting, she told me I was done, but my nails did not look good at all. I tipped and paid fully for the service, so I don’t know why she treated me in such a way. Again, I usually love coming here, but this really did ruin my day and I don’t think I’ll be coming back after this experience.

I absolutely love my experiences at Ambiance Nail Spa! Im originally from Cleveland, Ohio and needed to find a new place here while Im here for college because I love having new fresh nails. I can honestly say Ive found my new place and it beats the one I was going to when I lived in Cleveland! They are quick and provide excellent customer service. I typically get a gel set, and truth be told it is hard to find a place that does them as well as Ambiance. Nothing beats Ambiance and the convenience of having multiple stores across the Cincinnati area is great for when I am closer to one than the other. The prices arent over-priced like many other alike nail salons. I look forward to going because of how friendly all the staff are and know I will receive great service every time.

Fantastic experience for a first time visit to a nail salon.

I asked for ombre dip powder. I realized the tech tried to talk me into acrylic or French tip indicating he lacked confidence in his ability to do what I asked. I showed him a picture! I booked an appointment with a different tech for the next day. I feel like I have been offended because of how much I dont like my nails. I am in tears over it, time wasted,I dont want to be over the top and never go back I get good service with Mia(a great tech). I polished over it when I got home just to try to cope.

I visited the Ambiance in Hyde Park. I absolutely loved my service! I was comfortable and they performed way above my expectations. My nail technician was very gentle with me and made sure I was okay with everything. They even did my 2 year old cousin’s nails and they were so helpful and gentle with her. I will always come back to this place!

I love coming here. Everything is beautiful and the technicians are always so kind. I remember when he fort opened in Hyde park decade ago and it’s only gotten better with years of experience and good technique. I brought my boyfriend the last two times and he’s hooked. Thank you!

Nail tech used an old nail file and used nail bits that were not sanitized. nail tech also filed so hard on two of my fingers that i bled afterwards. nail tech also couldn’t do a basic design after telling me she could twice when i first sat down, had to polish my own nails at home.Editing to add: Management contacted me and we went back and forth for a week, they kept asking repetitive questions and then eventually said they wouldn’t offer a refund. i would recommend going to a small nail shop, better chance of them cleaning tools and also not over charging. $61 for JUST acrylic application is highway robbery.

I got a full shellac manicure here on Friday and it was wonderful. The entire facility was clean and organized. My appointment was right on time and I did not have to wait at all. Cindy did a fantastic job on my French manicure. She was super attentive to detail and really took her time getting the shape right. They look great and have held up well so far. I would definitely recommend Cindy for a French mani. Take a look at my pictures.

I have never had a bad experience. I originally saw Tesa a few years ago and have been seeing Jacey recently. She is fantastic at dip powder manicures and I never leave wishing I had done something different. My mom goes to Ruby and absolutely loves her and walks away happy every time she goes to get her nails done. This location will not disappoint.

The place was clean and sanitary , the nails though were rushed extremely and turned out less then i expected. Everyone was sweet except Tina who did my nails. She rushed and was rushing me and added things to my nails I didn’t want. It was good if it was someone else who did it it would’ve been amazing.

I have been coming to the original Hyde Park location since they opened their doors. I love it here and, even though I no longer live on this side of town, I still drive over here for my nail services. I absolutely adore Cathy! She is so sweet and attentive, and she gives THEE BEST foot massage! :-) I wont ever trust my nails with anyone else!

Ambiance at Edwards & Madison is great for gathering w/girlfriends for pedicures! They are always on time & can even get you in without an appointment. Lauren at the front desk was also very helpful!

My daughter brought me here as a Mother’s Day treat in 2015 and I have been coming every since !! I truly enjoy the treatment here at Ambiance!

The service is excellent. They told me the wait would be 20 minutes, but they let me soak until it was time. I only had to wait 5 minutes after all! It was a very pleasant experience! I will be back!

Andrew at Hyde Parks location has been my nail tech the last few weeks and has done fabulous. Even when I had an issue with my sns clear coat, The staff took care of me immediately when I walked in the door. Theres a reason this salon is voted one of the best!!!🥰

Michelle is bossy and tries to make you get what she wants and begs for tips! Leo also wants to do what he wants instead of what the customer wants! Andrew was just rude as hell they don’t train their techs to be respectful or not to impose on the clients wishes! You get your nails done to relax and unwind not to get upset! I feel like they all need to be fired

I was so excited to get my nails done for the first time since living in Cincinnati. I went in for a deluxe gel pedicure and gel mani. Unfortunately, my pedicure was very rushed and painful. I paid extra for gel polish to last long but it has already chipped off and not to mention the redness/swelling around my big toe STILL a week later. I paid $116 and this was NOT worth it. Wasn’t relaxing. GEL pedi is already coming off a week later AND painful. My manicure was just ok. I was talked into a dip instead of gel by the technician. I’m not completely underwhelmed by the manicure but overall it was not worth the $$ as it hasn’t even lasted a week and my pedicure was awful.

The salon was very clean and I had great service, the prices were also great for such a nice looking and feeling salon. I would highly recommend making an appointment as the wait time for walk in can be very long on weekends.

I got Thomas for my gel pedicure. he did good on the nails and shape and massage, but he could have catered to my heels better. I had Eric for my first time with dip powder with tips and he needs more practice. my nails are a variety of shapes and lengths and texture. he was rough with cuticle cutting and almost snipped off the tip of my finger with his scissors. they look okay at a distance but not up close. not worth $122. if you find a great person there stick to them. Also I had to threaten to leave to make sure my nails were done after my pedicure which I had appointments for. I wonder who are the top ones at Hyde park location?**update. my pinky nail just popped off. Smh not worth the money 4/23

Staff is rude and inconsiderate. I took my daughter here tonight for our first mother daughter in months and will not be returning. I walked in at 4:30, was told there was a 50 minute wait, so I put my name on the list. At 5:10 I checked in and they said another 20 minutes. Checked back in at 5:30 and they said just a few minutes. Went back up to the desk at 6:10 to see what’s going on only to be told there were appointments in front of me and there are still a few people ahead of me. Multiple walk ins came in after me, and my daughter and I were only sitting in the lobby with 2 others. I told her to just cancel our appt and was met with an enthusiastic “No problem! I’d love to cancel that for you!” 😳 No apologies or anything. At this point I’ve been waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and it was too late to go elsewhere. My daughter was upset because our evening was spent just sitting there, and we went home empty handed. No regard for my time at all. Will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone again. Also, the responses from the owner for the reviews are ridiculously condescending, thanking people for their awful experiences?? Should’ve checked the reviews first.

My nails look fantastic! I really enjoyed my whole experience. Kathy did such an awesome job with my manicure and did everything she could to ensure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. She was so sweet and I really enjoyed the conversation and how personable she was. I definitely will be returning and will recommend this establishment to everyone!

First time going today. I was very happy with the environment . Customer service was great. So nice and helpful. They are up to date on newer style nails. I took a picture with me & the girl made my nails look almost identical to what I wanted. A little expensive, but worth it! I wont go anywhere else now. 🚨Update🚨Gone back 3 times since! Still the only place I trust. Lovely people there! 💕This is another update lol...I love my nails..when u find yourself looking at your nails constantly & just loving them😄! Its true! Let’s begin with this is the ONLY nail salon I spend money with!!!During my covid visit.... on 9/18/20 they have the pedicure chairs spaced out every other as well as the nail services. The seating area has been reduced as well. Also they have finally added a small bar to this location which others have already had. Hyde park Ambiance by Bone Fish Grill is the Best of the Best!

I have been attending this location for 6 months now & they have never disappointed me. I highly recommend this nail salon to others looking for a very great experience.

I went here as a first time customer on May 15th and got the ultimate pedicure. My nails and feet turned out great. My only problem is that the technician was extremely rough with my feet during the pedicure to the point where the experience was painful and resulted in a few scratches on my ankle. As much as I like the softness of my feet and how my nails look, Im pretty hesitant to come back to this location.

A pedicure at Ambiance is truly a treat! While many nail salons are focused on churning through services, I felt like I could slow down and relax at Ambiance Beckett Ridge. My feet were very pampered and the feel was not rushed, crowded or loud like most other places around.

I go to Sophia every time and she is amazing! I had one bad experience and they made it right by having Sophia fix my nails and now I book with her every time! She is amazing and my nails are always perfect. Super friendly too and she always remembers me and what we talked about last time. That is super impressive considering how many clients she sees on a daily basis.

Went on the 9th or 10th for a basic pedi they did a great job as always everyone was super nice. My pedicure still looks great (excuse my ugly feet) After a whole week in the sand. I live in ky but will drive for their services and I was there at closing they cleaned and sprayed every thing down chairs tables every thing. I will def be back and recommend

I get the sns, lasts 4 weeks everytime which isnt the case at other places. I am always happy with my nails even weeks after the service. I always get compliments. Phillip is one of the best!

My nail tech was lovely. My service was perfect. But the covid protocol was not enforced. A group of women were placed around me and two other guests at the appropriate distance but these women all hung their masks below their noses. No staff member asked them to correct the placement. Made me uncomfortable for the techs servicing them and the guests nearby. Besides the fact the were yelling across the room at each other. Ugh. Clientele was trash.
