I cant really offer any kind of review.I read some of the other reviews, and decided to take my truck there to get looked at for a transmission problem. I went about 2 hours before the posted closing time, but everything was closed. It looked like nobody has been there for a while, so i dont know if they are permanently closed, or if they had some kind of family emergency that day, or what. I did not leave a message on the machine, so I didnt find out.I really needed to get my truck looked at, so I took it to Underground Autowerks instead.

I needed a new alternator for my New/Used Bug. I also new she needed some more work done and asked if they can let me know in detail what I needed. Also they only used German parts on my girl. Because not only did I need a new alternator but a pipe and a new fan. This car needed some love and they gave her the love she needed. But most of all they kept me informed and treated us like family. My mom will also be taking her bug in for issues she has been having. These guys are amazing, I’m so happy I found them. They know their stuff. I will definitely take her here from now on.

Do not take your car to this place....it will sit for weeks!!!!the guy doesnt answer phone nor call you he lies and tries to charge for work he does not do!!!!please stay away from this place you were warned....he might be good for a oil change but I highly dought it.... take your car at your own risk... you can drive your car there but you will not drive it out after 3 weeks he tell you he cant do the job...this guy is a joke. 1 star because you cant leave no star

Mike and his team were great! Very helpful and even went to pick up my car to work on. They provided quick & friendly service.

As of April 14, 2020, I have not gotten a response to the damage done to my 1988 Porsche 944 prior to me picking up on March 13, 2020. It appears that Hans German Auto have total disregard for the customer and poor work ethics. I believe 30 days was more than sufficient time to come to an amiable agreement. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this shop for repairs based on:1. Poor and/or improper diagnostics2. Excessive Parts and Labor charges3. Poor communication4. Poor documentation of work5. Disregard for damage to customers carsI find this unfortunate as this was to be my go to shop for repairs to my Porsche. I intend to file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).Update 7/22/20. Issue not resolved.

Jaguar dealership missed critical parts that needed replacement in my engine bay, while Hans German Auto was able to locate the issue, order parts and replace all within reasonable time. Mike sent pictures and kept me up to date on everything they were doing to my vehicle. Great Team!!

I honestly love these guys, very knowledgeable and professional. Dont worry about low balling here, they know exactly what they are doing and tend to go out there way if to make sure your German car is running right. Definitely definitely made a long-term customer.

This is the best foreign car mechanic I have come across, Mike had my Mercedes towed in a short time after I was stranded off the highway. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about my car, he assured I was completely aware of the work my car needed & was able to give me a very reasonable price to fix the transmission. The shop offered excellent customer service with all my requests on time and money, they even offered to give me a ride home. I was very satisfied with the work by these mechanics and would definitely come back for my cars maintenance as well as recommending the shop to all my family and friends. The important thing is my car is running smooth and I have the peace of mind of a great warranty and know I was not being ripped off!! I highly recommend their services and I know their experience is to be trusted and valued.

Han’s German Auto is a great shop and they go out there way to satisfy their customers they was even willing to drive to the grapevine all the way from San Diego to switch out my battery in my Porsche Cayenne. Only shop I will ever go to.

Love the team here at Hans auto. The team has been around in South Bay San Diego for over 30 years and you can definitely tell theyre knowledgeable and experienced. If you have any European cars that require fixing go see Hans German Auto. They can literally do anything.

Moved to SD a little over two years ago and never had a steady mechanic for my VW Passat. Needed my rear rotors changed and TK was able to get me in and out in no time. Very friendly and professional. I’m not very knowledgeable with cars so he explained to me what he was doing as he was doing it and showed me a few things that I’m very glad to know now. I will definitely be coming to his shop whenever i have any other car needs.

Love the guys at Hans German Auto, they really know how take great care of you!... took my Cayenne here had a coolant leak from the thermostat housing. Had taken it to the dealer before and they were never able to fix it... a friend recommended me here and right away the guys here were able to spot the problem and fixed it. I think the best part of all this was the call a week after, they called me to make sure all things are running smooth... now if thats not 5 star customer service, then I dont know what is

These guys saved me and my family the day before thanksgiving. They fixed my Cheyenne. I called the gentleman who answered was very professional and helpfull . He informed me that they would be closing in 40 minutes . But to still come by. They stayed until 8 oclock. And quickly got me and my family safely back on the road.

Hans Auto truly has a great group of mechanics that helped me and my Mini in a pinch. Not only do they provide excellent customer service but amazing prices to go along with it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone whos tired of rediculous prices and cruddy service.

I hade a great time working with the people at Han’s German auto they where very easy to contact and whenever I called or checked in they answered right away I love the great work that they did to my car the owner was very help full I would happily recommend this auto shop to anybody.

Let me put it to you this way. I WOULD TOTALLY SEND ANYONE OF MY FAMILY OR. RESPECTED FRIENDS TO HAVE KEN WORK ON THERE. VEHICLES..... . Many people like to tamper with there own vehicle ONLY to realize them themself screwed up there own ride. SO EAZY TO STEP IN YOUR OWN MESS AND BLAME SOMEONE ELSE FOR THE OVERALL AMOUNT OF CASH. YOU BURNED. IF you would have taken you ride to Ken in the FIRST PLACE YOU. WOULD NOT BE CRYING .THEREFOR. ITS YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT.
