The guy who works there could not possible have been more awesome. He stayed open late, made 3 suggestions that saved me money, made the check-in seamless, was funny, and supportive. This owner operator was awesome and I would recommend to anyone!

I have always been pleased with the service I experience with Avis. I have rented may different vehicles from this location. Each time it was simple, easy and affordable.

This place has always accommodated me in every way. They are very grateful of their clients business, very kind and respectful people.

I pre-paid for the car online. Avis agent at the original pick up location told me that as long as I returned the car within 24 hours, I wouldn’t pay extra for returning early. I was still charged for $17.96 for returning the car next day: which was later than the appointment, but still within the 24 hour window.I got a free upgrade from an economy car to SUV, so I didn’t complain. But just be aware that you might be charged extra for a situation like my case.

I had a scheduled reservation for February 17-20 at the Avis Car Rental corner of Esplanade and Henshaw in Chico Ca. When I was dropped off there to pick up the car, no one was around. After waiting for someone to answer the door, I called the number on the door and was told the office was closed on January 31, 2021 and my reservation was cancelled. They didnt even have the courtesy to call or email me ahead of time to tell me this. I walked down the street to an Enterprise Car Rental and rented one from them. I give a big 0 to Avis for customer service.

Very friendly ppl and car was phenomenal

When I went with my mother into avis for her to rent a car that she had prepaid for the avis employee told her that her credit was too low and they would not rent to her suddenly. They have rented to her in the past without any problems. And on top of that it will take 7-10 days for a refund. Thats outrageous

Singh at avis car rental in the chico mall deserves a raise , a gold watch , and a basket of kittens for working so hard to help a couple of last minute hard luck cases like us . he went above and beyond to accommodate us as last minute walk ins who were having a very bad luck day . we were desperate for transportation after our car broke down and he was not only friendly and respectful to our situation but also incredibly helpful . i honestly plan on stopping by on our next trip through town just to say hello to him and drop off a thank you note . i can only hope that every future dealing i have with avis car rental will be as good as this one . thanks again

Excellent service always! I was scared that they had closed when Sears closed but dont worry, they moved inside the mall across from rue men. They will match prices and find coupons for you. I got a discounted upgrade and it was great! I have been back and will be back again!

A very nice couple run this business. They work 7 days a week. Very helpful, remember who you are, and give you a great car for the price. Lucky to have these folks just down the road from my business, so if a car is in the shop, its super convenient. The staff make the experience quite pleasant.
