It was one of the worst experiences of my life. The neighborhood is dangerous but that is not the worst. They never let me in. They made me pay for early check-in and let me out. Never answered. Thanks to the booking.com I was able to change hotels. But do not make my mistake: stay away from this hotel, it is a guest house, they do not have a reception, they do not help you by giving you wifi pass to contact them or a taxi and they stop answering you. In a moment he texted me something like “ I can do you as a favor (letting me in!! )” but they didn’t!

We arrived to check in, we texted the phone number per the directions on the entrance door. We received check in directions but we could not get everything texted to them, pic of ID etc. They would not answer the phone and they WOULD NOT come to the property to assist us with the check in process. We booked this Stay through Booking.com & they could not get them on the phone either. In the end we had to find other arrangements. Mccormick Place Guest House is a residential property and they rent rooms in a house. There are also residents who live here permanently. They do not want to refund our money, we did not spend one night here because we could not check into this property. DONT Stay here or any place that wont talk to you on the phone. It all felt like a scam.

It was a very unique experience. I personally liked it a lot. I had a bad personal experience here because I broke up with a girl but she was crazy. Dont go here if you want extreme privacy or loud s**. Besides for the obvious fact you gotta be more quiet and respectful its a great place.

Oh my god I dont know where to start !!I should have had access at 3PM to my room and no indication or answer until 4:45It is not possible to talk to anyone !!I arrive in the room and the sheets are stained god knows what !!The location is definitely not in a nice area.I ABANDONED the room immediately by moving to another HotelThey never gave me the deposit back and I had to block the CC payment !!

This hotel offers you a convenient stay from check-in to check out. It was all hassle-free. The breakfast buffet dining experience was highly recommended, with plenty of variety. The room was spacious with a good-sized bathroom. It was applaudable overall. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Thank you very much!

Beautiful and roomy spaces just like you see in the pictures! My overall staying experience was amazing! Parking was also conveniently located in front of the building.The only recommendation I will add is to upgrade the beds and pillows. I felt they were a bit too soft. Maybe it was just my room?Other than that, I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Chicago!

So happy with the two nights I stayed here while traveling to Chicago for work. Quiet, extremely clean, comfortable, easy to access, and clear instructions for check in and check out all made this a great choice. Would definitely recommend!

I was too afraid to stay. You have to send your photo ID and personal info to a ghost cell phone number. You cant speak to anyone directly. You NEVER speak or see a representative from the property. You cant have any guests. You are watched by surveillance cameras. I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone. I received poor customer service and havent been successful at securing a refund. I cancelled my stay in June and have been disputing the purchase ever since. Expedia has attempted to reach the property to no avail. I have to leave a star in order to leave a review. 1/30/20 Thank you for your reply, months later. Thank you also, for making false accusations about my intentions. If you had checked your files, you would see that I sent all that was required and paid in full. You have NOT once been easy to reach. I, Bank of American and Expedia have tried calling repeatedly to no avail. No one from your company has had the courtesy of speaking to anyone to resolve this matter. Your company does NOT offer 24/7 accessibility. The contact info on your website is false. After your response, it is obvious that you lack any customer service training or customer satisfaction policies. I requested a refund in full from a reservation made in May 2019 that was cancelled in June 2019. Please provide my refund promptly.

There is no TV and they could not even put out a coffee and breakfast cake for the price and the extreme rules. But very clean quiet and exotic looking. I would come again at a cheaper rate. Luckily there is WiFi

I spent two nights here recently, and had a great experience. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood just a couple of miles from the loop, with plenty of free on-street parking. Public transportation (buses and the Metro Red Line) is just a short walk away. The apartment was exactly as described, very clean, and with a full kitchen. Many basic items were provided (bathroom items, kitchen utensils, WiFi, even some food staples in the kitchen). I had no problems communicating with the hosts, or finding the place and checking in and out. You have to share kitchen, bathroom and TV with the other guests, and it is expected that you keep quiet at night, but the price is just a fraction of what a hotel would cost. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful spot to be grown and sexy. We had an amazing night. I would chill there again with my man.

I urge everyone to look ELSEWHERE. The pictures online are misleading. The room itself is very drab and NOT worth the price. It was small and you could hear everything through the walls. There was also a smell. Long story short, we didn’t stay. Maybe if it was $20 it would be worth it. But at the price I paid, I was gouged.

Booked a stay via Expedia. Contacted (you may ONLY text or email, not sure if they respond to that, they barely responded to my text) and provided my ID as requested to the # listed for information on checking in. I received a text message asking for the front and back of my credit card as it was a, last minute booking. I explained how I was not comfortable doing so, the only option was to email it instead.. They tried to sell it off to me as unconventional. The whole time I am chatting with Expedia customer service who also agreed with me and said, thats probably an issue. I am not sure if it was Dubois or Expedia who took it upon themselves to cancel my stay but one of them did and needless to say I have yet to be refunded. Beware.

Great location and rooms. I had no concerns with this place and I highly recommend the buffet break next door.

Garbage never go here it’s horrible service rooms are gross if I could rate lower than 1 star I would I wouldn’t stay there I demanded my money back and they declined had to get my bank involved

Very clean and it smelled really good. Beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Safe guest house and ability to cook and store food a bonus.

This is a BnB .. do not expect it to be a hotel. It is clean and decent for a night halt
